OK so here is the next chapter you have all waited so patiently for! So sorry for the wait.. I thought there wasnt much interest so I put this one on the back burner. Well I got a review from a guest just today and it inspired me to continue to work on this, so here you are! This first half is what I had already have typed up from like two years ago and then the second half when we get back to Narissa is the new stuff. ( to me at least. I decided to add it since its been so long since I updated that I figured I would give you guys an extra long chapter) So I hope you enjoy!

(OMG that and this chapter were from soooo long ago, Like before Corona started in 2020 o.o, I Started working on the next chapter where things get real thinking this was up already. So sorry! In my defence though on Dec.17th 2019 I got hit while crossing a cross walk by a lady who was on her cellphone and not paying attention and ended up hospitalized with staples closing a laceration in my head (giant bleeding gash), severe bruising on my entire right side, and a severe concussion. After I was done recovering from that Covid hit NYC, which is where I live, so yeah. That's my reasoning. But I honest to goodness thought I had this chapter uploaded already since it was in my computer as finished. So Sorry! But at least you won't have to wait for more then a month for the next chapter! Its hot and ready to serve; Just needs toppings! )

Powerless Dreaming

-During the time of the date-

Irma and the others were at the silver dragon having cookies when Yan Lin inquires about where Will was. They tell her that she was on a double date with Matt and his cousin Stacy. Yan Lin doesn't seem to buy it though. "Why would Will suddenly decide it was ok to leave you all when she knows Narrisa is up to no good? I'm sorry girls but I don't think Will is making a very good choice... especially after she said she had a fight with Shagon and then it abruptly ended... Narrisa wouldn't just end a fight that could have destroyed Will like that; not unless she had a good reason. Which should be why we should be on high alert for an attack right now." She looked to be very concerned... but the other girls told her that they discussed the same thing at lunch and Will was totally ok with laying low... until the next day when she met Stacy and then decided to help get Matt off the hook with a double date.

They all knew one night could happen to be the night the old hag attacks them... but Taranee had called Will after Yan Lin had left, just to make sure she would have her cell phone on. Will answered and they talked briefly before Irma took the phone and asked if Stacy was finished with her yet... which Will clearly yelled at her for... and then Cornelia took it away from Irma stating that she better take pictures cause she wanted to know what kind of clothes they were wearing. Will promised she would and then had to go due to their table being ready. They all seemed satisfied with the conversation.

-With Taranee-

Later on after they had all parted ways Taranee was walking home and realized that she probably should have brought a heavier coat. She figured she could just warm herself up with a little heat wave... but found it wasn't working... 'hmm maybe its too cold for just a heat wave... ooohhh and I can't summon a flame in public... I guess i'll just have to deal with it.'

-With Irma-

Irma was at home and was getting grilled by her dad that she didn't close the lid on the trash the right way and some raccoons got into it, and she tried to alter his thoughts with Maybe I should get a better trash can Maybe I should get a better trash can Maybe I should get a better trash can but he just looked at her making a sour face and thought she was trying to be sassy so he sent her to her room.

-With Cornelia-

Cornelia was at home watching over her sister since her parents wanted to go out on a date. Lillian was playing with Napoleon when they both heard a thud outside their back door, and Cornelia went to check it out. She saw something move in the dark and had tried to stop it from getting away with a vine but nothing happened and it escaped. "Well talk about a horror film... I better call the others."

They had a four way call, but none of them could come over. Cornelia told them that she was sure something was watching her … but Irma said it could have just been a raccoon since they seemed to have gotten into her trashcans... and since if it was Core (since frost or ember would have left a glow or a trail of some kind) then why wouldn't he have attacked her? This settled Cornelia down a little, now chalking it up to Racoons... but she still felt she needed to keep her sister close just in case.

-Back at the Silver Dragon-

When Hay Lin got off the phone with them... she asked her grandma if Blunk was here or not. The former air guardian told her he was in the fields of Aztark with Caleb... and then asked why Hay Lin wanted to know... Hay Lin seemed concerned with the mysterious thing Cornelia thought was watching her. But also said it could just be raccoons like Irma said cause they seemed to have knocked over some things in the back of the restaurant too... But the younger air gaurdian could not shake the feeling that it wasn't. She went to her room and listened to some music for a while and apparently fell asleep, or at least she thinks she did since she had a strange dream, about Will...

Hay Lin's pov ~The Dream~

"Wow, i've been in some pretty cool places, but Kandracar never ceases to amaze me! I love the energy here, the flowing feel of magic that makes me just want to float along the air and let the wind take me wherever. But wait... when did I get here? Why am I here? Where is everyone else?!

Oh, there is the Oracle, he can tell me what i'm doing here. But wait... hello? Can he see me? "HELLOOOOO! CAN YOU HEAR ME? ORCILE?"

Huh, that's strange... its like i'm invisible... well more so then just invisible... like a ghost...OMG AM I DEAD? Wait... no i've still got my powers, I can't be dead... plus … wait something is happening. The oracle is looking at an image in the fountain he's sitting on... its Will!

But wait... She's dressed differently... she has this dress that looks kinda like some mix of sexy seductress with a dash of goth and a dash of electric blue mixed in... and she seems to be in guardian form with her wings but... Who is that woman with the same wings and long black hair behind her... she kinda looks like Matt's cousin. She is dressed in a similar outfit to Will's... almost like they were...OMG that lady hit Elyon!

Will! Why didn't you stop that woman... she's hurting Elyon and your just floating there... smiling.

"WHY ARE YOU SMILING! WILL!"

(POV Change)

Horrified Hay Lin continued watching as Shagon then appears with an unconscious Caleb in this hands. Will looks at Caleb with distaste and tells Shagon he can let Core have him to play with for a while before they clean him up. Shagon tosses the unconscious rebel leader to the ground with a sickening thud and Core happily starts to 'play' with him.

Then Shagon takes Will by the waist and nuzzles her neck before telling her that they will soon have everything they deserved. She chuckled gleefully and kissed him on the check agreeing with him. The other woman, which she now realized must be Narrisa, announced that Queen Elyon was no more... and now the new queen of Meridian was Queen Narrisa. And that there was a new royal family... Shagon and Will seemed to get the memo and while Shagon forced people to bow, Will went to stand next to Narrissa... As she announced the new princess of Miridian would be her daughter Will.

The vision ended with the Oracle starring at where it once was in the water ... and then he sighed and mumbled to himself 'I only wish I could have foreseen this, maybe I could have stopped Narrisa from capturing Will's heart and this would have all been avoided.'

Hay Lin woke up sweating. She felt horrified at what she saw, or what she thought she had seen. At first she thought it might be a vision so she wrote it all down... but when she re-read it and remembered it she just couldn't make herself believe it.

This just didn't add up right. She knows that her grandma had told her she is capable of having visions... but it had to be a dream and nothing more... nothing about it made any sense... maybe she was just on edge due to Cornelia and her own grandmothers warning earlier.

So she started to think it was just a dream... or a nightmare. And to justify this she listed 10 reasons why it couldn't be a vision.

Will would never join Narrisa. NEVER

Will would certainly not hook up with Shagon

Will said their Matt was back so why would she lie?

Matt got her a nice gift and Shagon wouldn't do that or even know what to get her

Matt's cousin was real, and Shagon wouldn't know how to act around her

Narrissa already had Elyon so that part can't be right

Narrissa could have taken the throne already if she really wanted to but hasn't so its clear she had no interest in it

Will could never be that cruel and evil

Narrissa would not let them do such a terrible thing to Caleb, or at least Hay Lin liked to believe she wouldn't.

Most importantly... Will is NOT Narrisa's daughter.

Hay Lin decided to go to the basement for a while to work on something... but she couldn't get her mind off of the dream... so she decided to do something productive with it... and she found it was surprisingly easy to draw up the dress Will was wearing in it.

-With Narrisa and Shagon at their cave Monday morning-

Narrisa was mulling over the events of the previous night.

The Heart of Kadnrakar nearly ruined everything. Perhaps she was too close to it. She thought as long as their plan was in play that she wouldn't have to worry about it revealing her true form, but it seems she was wrong. Shagon was fine because technically this was his 'true form' so to speak. But it was different for her. She would have to be more careful. Narrisa glamored back into Stacy and checked herself in the mirror to make sure her glamor was flawless.

Shagon walked in already posed as Matt and decide to mention that school would be starting soon. They only had 10 minutes till the bell rings. Today was going to be fun.

My only words of advise from the Oracle to help you along are "When one is sleeping it is much easier to let magic flow, even when it is being initially blocked."
