Note:so I just seen the trailer for session 3 and I'm so excited and it's coming out the same day as cyberpunk and I just got my cyberpunk chair so all of this most be a sign that everything is going to be alright. Anyway this chapter I feel is a little rough and I should add a warning for sexual assault and homophobic language even though the assault doesn't actually happen. I just wanted to convey how bad the I think the character actually is hope I did ok enjoy.
"Alright children, time to get started." Alice ushers the three boy's in to her cabin, starting to loss patients as they slowly trudge through the front door. They had done the crime but it seems they didn't want to do the time for their recent actions she still wonders how they managed to get their hands on the equipment in the first place. Ether Jason was to smart for his own good or Susie was just lazy and seeing as she used magic for everything they did it was a special kind of lazy.
She closes her door as they finally step in and guides them to the middle of her cabin. "I hope you're all ready for a long hard day of work." She cast a spell that almost completely destroys her home sending bits and pieces about the place. A table flips upside down, her bed uproots it's self, and dirt fly's in from the windows making a mess of the floor. "Now I'll be back in an hour. So I expect it to be similar to how it was previously."
"Come on Alice ya really gonna make us do this?" Michael asked her not able to understand what he did wrong. "If anything Jason should do all the cleaning."
"One hand, all hands Michael. Or would prefer I tell Susie about this little mishap." He gulped and shook his head letting her know that he would rather settle the matter in private, Alice scared him but at least she was fair. Susie was someone he'd rather not get on the bad said of.
"We'll get it done." He says not making eye contact with her.
"Good. Get it done before I get back now." She leaves locking the door behind her leaving them to clean the cabin and Michael to stew in silence.
"Yo I can't believe we're doing this." They had started the cleaning of the cabin by flipping all of the furniture back to their upright side afterwards deciding to split the work up. Aubrey sweeping floors, Jason scrubbing down the walls, and Michael not doing much instead setting in on Alice's bed still upset with the position they've been put in. "I oughta break your neck Jason."
"What? What did I do." He says throwing his arm's out in confusion, a worried look in his eyes.
"Man you got us in to this, shoulda been more careful." He half yells at him in annoyance trying to sweep the dirt from the floor but try as he might it hadn't seemed to do much. the surface of the wooden floor was caked in dirt and soil and there just appeared to be more of it the more he cleaned. "Next time try a little harder not get me and Michael in trouble."
"But you asked me to do it!" He says asked but he really means forced, they always made him do things he never wanted too but there the only friends he has or at least their the kids that would talk to him. If at any reason they stop hanging out with him he would be an outcast for sure. It was best to just roll with the punches.
"Why don't you both shut up and do ya work." Michael murmurs from Alice's bed he was sick of hearing them argue they were acting like babies and it was starting to give him a headache.
"Yeah Michael." Jason agreed.
"Yeah whatever, I was done talking to this cornball anyway." He goes back to sweeping the floors to the best of abilities eventually starting to make progress though his wild sweeping did more harm then not. "Man as if Oliver stealing my girl wasn't bad enough. Now I gotta do this. I swear he his another thing coming, I'm jacken it." He lays his broom against the wall and takes a seat next to Michael on Alice's bed.
Jason finishes scrubbing down the walls and takes note of Aubreys work or lack there of. "Aubrey come on you were supposed to clean the floor. You barely did anything." Alice wouldn't be happy with this the whole reason they were doing this was so Susie didn't find out about last night. "Did you literally forget why we're here?"
Aubrey looks at him, a smile crossing his face and begins to laugh. "Ohh I know you're not talking to me like that." He says a bit shocked with Jason's attitude towards him.
"Yes I'm talking to you like that, cause you don't seem to care if we get in trouble or not." He snaps at him irritated with how things were going, last night, and how they were treating him recently.
Aubreys smile disappears from his face, a more serious tone shrouds over him. "If you feel some type of way, why don't you clean it up?" He walks over to him, now angrier then he was before at the beginning of their punishment.
"It's not my job too, it's yours so clean it up." Jason yelled now face to face with Aubrey practically touching his forehead against the wolf's. Saying he was fed up would be an understatement, he was done taking the abuse from Aubrey. "Come on Michael tell him." He appealed to their leader begging him to get involved instead of just moping on Alice's bed.
"Just clean it up Jason." Michael groans out, he was sick of the noise and just wanted it to stop.
Jason double takes before completely redirecting his focus on the koala he calls a friend. "But it's not m-"
"Look I'm really not in the mood right now, so just do it." He barks the order at him livid that someone, anyone would speak back in such a manor.
"Wh-uh, yeah Michael." Jason says in defeat not wanting to risk his friendship with the two boys he would just roll with it like he's always been doing. Just roll with the punches he thinks to himself.
He finishes the work leftover by his friend (though now he's more of undesirable person to be around.) then looks over to where Aubrey and Michael were still sitting. Aubrey was talking in his usual wannabe gangster attitude about what he would do to someone if he were in there position but Jason knows his all bark and no bite he wouldn't really do anything or at lest not by himself. Michael on the other hand looked like he was lost in thought nodding to everything Aubrey was saying but not actually paying attention to the words that were spilling out. He wondered what he could be thinking about it wasn't like Michael to stay silent for so long, he wondered if it had something to do with Max.
He takes his eyes from Michael and brings them back down to the floor, he hadn't done to bad if I could say so himself of course when you have to clean up other peoples messes often it just comes naturally to him by this point. Almost as if on queue they here the sound of the door open. Alice had returned just as he finished cleaning the rest of the floor, it was almost like she could sense it had been done.
"Ahh, boys excellent work." She steps in observing the cabin from top to bottom. "It looks just as clean as before. If not even more so."
"All well you know me. I'm a hard worker, all trap no cap." Aubrey walks up to her taking more then his fair share of credit. "So we done now, like can we go or what?"
"Uh uh uh children. We're not finished yet. We still have two more cabins to clean." The cabin erupts in a collective groan as she says this. They thought it was one cabin a day but Alice knew that eating up there time was the real punishment.
"Come on Alice, are you serious!?" He Try's pleading with her to no avail.
"Way serious." She smirks at them before pushing them out the door "come now, Betsys house is next." She leads them across the grounds to their next objective. She opened the door and second verse, same as the first she cast a spell that completely destroys the cabin and ushers them to work. "Alrighty then, same as before I'll be back in an hour or so. So make sure you fix the place up completely." She leaves them to their work, much like last time it was a mess. The wells, the floor as equally bad as before but now with the addition of objects running around.
"Ugh, this isn't fair. It's gonna take forever the fix all this." Aubrey says catching one of the not so inanimate objects and throws it out the window. "Can't believe this is how I'm spending my day.
"Why don't you just work with your mouth closed." Jason muttered under his breath however it was just audible enough for him to catch it.
"Im sorry? What did you say?" Aubrey question him.
"I said work with your mouth closed, or are you stupid and deaf now." He says even louder now while adding a little extra flair to the insult.
"Ha Stu-when did get so big huh?" He gets in his face once more now ready to fight. "Then maybe you're big enough to take a beating."
"Okay that's enough both of you." Michael intervenes not wanting to hear more arguing from the two boys.
"But he's talking the upmost craziness to me, me! You can't be real." Aubrey exclaims to their leader feeling he was owed compensation for the insult.
"Okay, okay man. Jason apologize so he can shut up." Michael tells him even if the wolf deserved it their was just too much noise right now.
He looks at Michael with a shocked expression "what?" He usually would do what Michael said but this time he couldn't. "I'm sorry Michael but that's not gonna happen."
He stares dumbfounded "what?" The words barely pass through befuddled lips. "What...the hell is wrong with you. Just say sorry." His confused demeanor betrayers a confidence that his long sense gone.
"No Michael." He reinforces his position he was tired of everything they put him through so now he was taking a stand. We wouldn't even be here if weren't for you."
Aubrey puts his hand over his mouth surprised at what he was hearing. "Holdup you're not gonna let him disrespect you like that right?"
"Take it back Jason." Michael silently growls demanding Jason resend the statement.
In truth he probably should have quit while he was ahead, his mind telling him to shut his mouth but his emotions tells him to keep going, it couldn't get any worse.
"You know if you weren't so in love with Max maybe you wouldn't bother him so much." The cabin falls into an instant eerie silence that sends shivers running up Jason's spine. "Uh Michael I'm sor-" before he can issue the apology Michael rushes up to him. He grabs Jason by the neck and pins him against the wall.
"Don't talk to me like you know anything about me. Cause you don't know anything about me." He tightens his grip around Jason's throat "hell you know what, instead of all the talking maybe we can put that mouth of yours to better use." He runs a thumb over Jason lips.
"Wh-what." The words come out in a barely audible gurgle, the whole time Michael stares at him his eyes in flames hotter then the hands around his neck.
"You heard me." He says letting Jason go. "Get on your knees and start sucking."
He was hesitant at first but eventually getting down and starts to undo Michaels belt buckle. He thinks it was ether this or get beat up and shunned by his friends and he'd rather not go through that so the choice seemed easy to him. Before he could actually undo the belt he's shoved back against wall.
"Queer." Michael spat at him angrily. "You were actually gonna do it homo?"
"Ay yo he was actually gonna do it." Aubrey instigated from behind Michael with a bit of nervous laughter in his voice.
"God ya even worse that faggot Max." He starts retying his belt as he belittles the slightly shorter boy. "I don't wanna hear anything else from you today understand. All I wanna hear is yes Michael or no Michael you got it."
Jason shakes his head in agreement while looking at the ground tears now starting to fall down his cheeks. He had felt like things had gotten out of hand maybe he should have just apologized to Aubrey, none of this would have happened otherwise. He couldn't afford to lose his friends now no matter how bad they are.
"Good now clean up this mess I'm not asking twice." Michael and Aubrey go to take a seat somewhere whilst Jason gets to work cleaning the entire cabin on his own. He had a lot to do to make even passable before Alice returned and Michael had made it clear that if they wound up in more trouble they would no doubt take it out on him. However same as before he manages and with a few seconds to spare before Alice returns, walking though the door and admiring his work as she had done before.
"Ah boys wonderful work. I see you've missed a spot or two but nonetheless a job well done." She leads them back out to their final objective of the day and maybe the biggest. They March there way to Susies cabin seeing Oscar, hedgehog, and Max along the way the trio had just came from that direction and Max was carrying an album in his hands, looking at it the whole time he was walking.
Jason decided to hang back and waited for them to pass before stopping Max. "Hey Max I'm really sorry about last night. I never wanted things to get out of hand."
"Uh...yeah no problem." Max was uneasy at first but accepts the apology hearing the genuineness in his voice. But the more he looks the more notices the bruising on his neck dry tears on his face "are you okay?"
He puts a hand around his neck attempting to hide the marks. "Yeah just hurt myself a little. No big deal." He lies not wanting to reveal the confrontation from earlier.
"Right...hey maybe you could hang out with us sometime. You know if you want." Max offers him. He looks at the ground thinking the invitation over before meeting Max's eyes once more.
"Yeah sounds cool. I might just." He accepted before hearing shouting from a distance.
"Jason come on." Michael noticed he was gone and was now calling after him like someone would a dog. He didn't want to go but he didn't really have a choice in the matter.
"Yeah Michael I'm coming. See you Max." He runs off waving Max goodbye and meets back up with his group as Alice knocks on Susies door.
She opened the door slightly seeing who was knocking this time. When she see's Alice with the three boy's she opens the door and steps out. "What's this now?" She asks
"These boy are here to clean your cabin." She pushes them forward. "Use them for what ever you need." She Then leaves them in Susies care.
"Whatever I need huh. Alright boys come on in I have a pile of dirty underwear I refuse to get up."
I think I use the words and and seem a lot it's something I have to work on done the line while writing enjoy anyway.
