I did crank of the difficulty, I love the show but there is so much around Grimm that can be tweaked and explored! Along with that, after this chapter, it'll be mostly Pov. Each team is going to have a set of problems and it may or may not have been caused by Kuro. Anyway, I will let you guys read!

11/4: I can't explain what happened or how it glitched, but after a couple of hours I fixed it. Just my luck.

Grimm. What are they? Simple beings with one sole purpose? Some sort of creation originally made by "God of Darkness"? Monster's with no soul and drawn by negative emotions? How long ago was Grimm present? How far did the family tree stretch? Could they evolve? Many questions with no answers.

Leo's feet slid back, dirt building up from his heels. His aura would collapse if he kept this up, the snake was strong which was expected but he was overextending his aura. The oval head teen grunted as he was pushed back a bit, all the training he has done leading up to this moment. His family was known as huntsmen and huntresses, he couldn't lose this. He turned to look where the female was, she moved onto a tree branch which meant he execute some plan.

He let his aura shield down and kicked to the side, the snake zipping right past him before slithering back around. The male dug into his pocket and took out a needle-sized trident. The gauntlet he wore outlined a dark brown color before growing the trident into normal size. The snake came at him, in the midst of the strike the male jumped to the side.

Nyx shot another arrow at the endless moving snake, how could they handle this? Leo watched as the snake came towards him once more, he bought his trident up and threw his shoulder back. He'd throw it with all his might, it should be able to pierce the thick skin. It was the only reasonable plan.

The Grimm snake came forth and the male threw his weapon, Orbit flew at the snake and in the midst of coming into contact, the weapon began to change. The three spikes in the front formed into a thick edge as the rest stayed the same. The javelin came into contact but it wasn't enough, the weapon slid right off the tough skin and fell onto the ground. "Damn."

It opened its mouth ready to swallow the male hole, but Leo had other plans. One hand fell onto the snake's upper fang and the other on the lower fang, his body outlined brown. He was using his aura to reinforce his defense and it was working, he didn't budge an inch though he knew he was running low.

Nyx took one look at the male before turning towards the snake she was keeping back, they could defeat one right here but she'd have to take her eyes off the first one. She hopped off the branch and planted right next to the teen holding the snake's mouth open from its fangs. She took out a dust tipped arrow from the quiver pouch she had on her side, the plan was simple. If she released this arrow into the snake the inside of it would fry killing it, then they would only have to worry about one. Her pale dainty fingers let go, the arrow soaring inside the snake. It went off the snake was shaking uncontrollably and in seconds it tapped out.

One problem was down which meant only one was left, but the reward always came with a risk. Leo watched it happen in slow motion, one moment the bow-wielding Faunus was in front of him the next she was gone the snake's body sliding right along. His left hand outstretched and his weapons came back into his palm like thor calling back his hammer, the snake didn't stop moving forward it kept going. He had to catch up and take revenge. "DAMNIT."

It happened so fast. One second she took out a Grimm the next she was only seeing black, well there was a reason that her eyes were closed. As she opened them not much changed, the only light she had was the snake's open mouth. It was moving at high speeds, Artemis sharp edges were preventing it from eating her; her grip on the bow didn't hinder in the slightest but she knew she wouldn't have much time. The snake couldn't close its mouth or it'll have a nasty bow sticking through its nostrils.

Grady let out a low groan he easily found his partner and took care of any underlying problem that came there way; his eyes lingered on Cardin for a moment. "It could be worse." Grady held the white bishop piece this was the relic and it was a letdown. Nothing happened, hell even some bow wearing female and blonde bimbo made it. Where was the action he wanted to show off?

His thoughts were answered with the sudden view of a female jumping into the open area a short pink-haired brat holding onto her neck. After them, was two men and after them was the champion herself. Then the real threat came out a Deathstalker broke the scenery some blonde flying towards them as he was flung off.

Grady turned his head to the other side of the forest and out came a large Grimm snake following closely behind was some crazy teen.

A shadow cast above them all and jaws dropped what the hell was a Nevermore doing here?

The snake shook its head vigorously and as it did so Nyx's weapon was freed and she flew out of its mouth only to land on some debris from the ruin. Leo quickly rushed past the snake and made way towards his partner.

Yang began to count the people around, "Aren't we missing a couple of people?"

Pebbles that lied around bounced around and in the distance, two figures could be seen running from the large dust cloud that followed. It seems they didn't get the memo from all the things ahead; because the Deathstalker smacked both of them towards the group of people. Kianna laid on top of Kuro for a moment time only to finally get help from Yang.

"Now, that we all are here we can die together!" The blonde bombshell put her hands on her hips, and despite the distaste for her similar looks, Kuro didn't let the fear overcome him this time. No, they had way more pressing matters. Mainly the Deathstalker, Snake, Nevermore, and a large herd of Beowolf's in front of them.

"Soooo...anyone got any last words?" Yang popped.

"Don't hold me back." Grady couldn't stop himself from charging forward, the wild look in his eye enough indication of what was about to transpire.

Binda smacked her gauntlets together before grinning, "That's my line!" She rushed after wanting to join in the fun, Sirvard hung loosely on her shoulder her magenta eyes gleaming for a battle.

Kuro cursed these crazy people...but they had the right idea and he wanted to destroy something. "Keep up." He was gone chasing after the ones that left.

Ruby shook her head, "Wait! Save some for me!" She shot her Crescent Rose to give herself a boost.

"Rubes wait!" Yang mumbled something underneath her breath before giving chase.

Leo couldn't pass this up, one short look to Roy was enough. Both males shook their head and dashed forward.

Nyx held her weapon close watching all the crazy people go forward, though it seemed that wasn't all. Nora followed the group with Ren right behind.

Kianna didn't like this one bit, it was all too chaotic and she wasn't the only one. Nyx, Jaune, Weiss, Verdant, and Pyrrha were all staying back maybe they had different reasons but the group was outnumbered majorly. Oh, and she couldn't forget Blake.

Grady was the first the meet the group of Beowolfs, he used the large boulder in front of to elevate himself. Now in the air, he came down onto the head of Beowolf his hooks latching onto its back, the male jumped off and forced the hooks the cut through the monster.

Binda rushed into the battle her arm blocking the paw of the Grimm, with her free hand she threw a jab in its stomach the sheer strength forcing it back. Her hands then clasped around the Beowolf's head, and she pushed them together; her hands met each other and she could only be ready for the next one.

Sirvard left the bigger female while she was running, her claws came out and shot into the head of two random Beowolfs. The short female retracted her sharp claws as they died.

Kuro stared into the eyes of the Deathstalker as he closed the distance, red petals shot from the side of him and the red hooded girl appeared shooting at the monster only to get smacked by its claw.

Yang attempted to catch her younger sister, but the impact caused both of them to fall and scatter across the ground.

He didn't let that phase him, his left hand ghosted over the hilt of his blade the Deathstalker smashed its claw where he stood. Kuro easily jumped to the side dodging the aggressive creature, with his speed he made it onto the pincher and leaped on top of the Deathstalker. Shi came out, the metal reflected the eyes of the Grimm. It was a Tachi sword the only thing different about this version was that it was slightly longer and wider from a quick glance no would notice the lines in the metal blade.

Before he could inflict pain on the monster one of Nora's explosive rounds hit the shell of the creature and forced Kuro off, aura shielded him but he rolled across the ground dust picking up.

Nora turned her head and began to whistle like she didn't misfire at a fellow student.

Jaune glared at the Nevermore in the sky, it was looping around. "Guys! We need to take care of that." His finger went into the sky and everyone around him looked up to see the bird creature shoot some sort of feathers at the group fighting.

Grady's hook latched into a Beowolf, the chain unraveled his rough grip stopped it from going too far. With his feet set he pulled the Grimm towards him, he'd use its body to block the incoming feathers from above.

Binda smashed her foot into a mid-sized Grimm, the ground around them pulsed with an airwave from her strength. Ocean colored eyes went towards the shadow that came over them, and as the flying monster attacked realized she had nowhere to hide. Tunnel vision occurred and the next thing she knew was a Beowolf ramming into her.

Sirvard dug her claws out of the head of a Grimm, her instincts were on fire and her adrenaline was pumping. From the corner of her eye she watched as something swiped, she crouched her heart rapidly beating. She wasn't as tall as normal people, but with her height came advantages. She came up using the momentum to soar up gears clicking in her right gauntlet the menacing claws out once again the went straight through its head. She had yet to notice the feathers coming down.

Leo jumped to the side once more, this snake was proving to be a problem. He needed to render its speed useless or he'd continue to stay on the losing end.

Roy was originally going to follow Leo into attacking the Snake, but some Beowolfs had other ideas. He wasn't complaining, it was three against one but he had a working brain that evened the odds. With a click of the tongue, he moved to the side, from the downwards attack that came. He was moving too fast, which caused him to lose his footing. Knowing the Grimm would capitalize on this he readied his aura.

An arrow shot through the air and lodged it's one of the Beowolf's eyes, it stunned the creature giving Roy the split second he needed to fix himself. Onslaught in hand his red aura outlined around him. For him the world slowed down, he was registering things at a faster pace. The stunned Grim didn't have a clue of what happened, one moment it was regaining it's bearings the next its head was off. The other two charged at Roy, the male appeared on the back of the second one and off came it's head. His aura dissolved and time was going back to normal for him. Another arrow came out impaling the last Beowolf in the head. "Thanks!"

Nyx let out a slow sigh, she was running low. But they would need her help to take out the flying creature. She needed to think of something fast.

Leo exhaled exhaustion was going to overtake him soon, his eyes dusted over to his fellow fighters most of them were preparing for the incoming feathers. They needed a reset, he stuck Orbit into the ground the earth around it cracking. He'd offer them the reset. The snake was coming to finish things, he'd use the rest of his power to take back the game. A shaky breath escaped and the ground under him cracked, a large wave of wind pushed everything back. Everyone was caught in it.

Leo supported himself with his trident, dust overclouding the area from his counter.

The wave knocked Binda onto the ground, her fist smashed into the earth but it wasn't enough to keep her from flying back. Sirvard wasn't expecting such a thing so when it came it knocked the wind right out of her, her body flowing with the force.

Grady used his hooks to keep himself from flying back, but a Beowolf being blown back had a different idea and crashed into him both being pushed back.

Kianna ran over to the Bat Faunus and wrapped her wings around her, her head arched downwards. Using her aura she tried to keep standing, but it wasn't going how she wanted.

Yang grabbed Ruby by her cape and threw her hand into the ground. She wouldn't let her little sister go.

Verdant stuck his long sword into the ground, this wasn't something he expected. So far he was able to keep himself up, but the flying bodies of Jaune and Weiss crashed into him forcing the threw to fly against a wall.

Roy being the closest was pushed back into a tree, his back cracking from the impact. Was this his semblance?

Kuro stood up only to see a Deathstalker off its legs rolling into him, there wasn't much he could do and he was hit both of them rolling towards the edge of the ravine.

Dust ran rampant in the area for a couple of ticks then settled down, Leo was one of the only people still standing but even that was proving to be a problem. He exserted most of his energy doing such a thing, right now he was a sitting duck.

Kianna unraveled her wings seeing a safe Nyx, was it over? Did they complete this test?

Nyx was grateful for the protection but before she could acknowledge it she listened out for her peers, she heard some breathing but the sound of wind kept interfering.

Cardin came from behind one of the destroyed walls and looked around, "Is everything done?"

No one paid him any mind and waited for everything to become much more visible.

Jaune and Weiss laid on top of smushed Verdant, and Yang was safe holding Ruby in her arms.

Grady was lying on the ground face smashed into the dirt, but other than that fine. Binda was standing up making her way back with Sirvard over her shoulder.

Roy was limping his way towards the group with Leo on his side.

Ren was fine but looking around, "Where's Nora?"

Kuro and Nora laid on top of the Deathstalker, the creature was slowly falling off the side of the ravine which meant at any moment they would fall. Kuro lifted up his vision was blurry and he was sore all over, that didn't prevent him from standing up. He noticed he was a couple of feet taller than he thought. Before he could register anything his vision cleared and the sight of all the people that survived the test coming towards them slightly scared him. Despite being quite a distance away he could tell they were saying something. He wished he heard them.

The Deathstalker suddenly moved and began slipping off the edge, the male lost his balance for a moment and rolled back only to see an unconscious female barely staying on. He needed to figure something out if he died here Raven would somehow kill him in the afterlife. The creature began slipping once more and the male had to do something.

By the time the group made it the Deathstalker had fallen and the only thing that was seen was Nora lying on the ground, but no sign of Kuro. Ren went to his childhood friend to shake her awake.

Kuro grunted lowly, as he climbed up his jacket was ripped open exposing his lean figure but more importantly, the locket he had was still around his neck. A small scar was seen on his chest but it didn't bother him, Yang couldn't help but capitalize on this moment. "Victory and a show?"

It seemed that was the least of their problems at the moment. The Nevermore was still in the air and that horrid snake was inching closer, if that wasn't enough the sudden noise got some attention from quite the set of Ursai. A bridge caught Yang's attention, it looked old but it would allow them to escape. "Guys, make a run for the bridge!" Everyone didn't have to be told twice but as they ran the Nevermore grew closer.

Ruby and Weiss were the first two across with everyone right behind, but the Nevermore intervened its wings extended and it began to descend and crashed into the ruined bridge. Kuro didn't make a noise as he flew off the side, turning his head he saw Nyx tumbling with him, and if that wasn't enough Leo was coming down with them Kianna falling with the trio. The four fell into the mist only to disappear.

Verdant luckily wasn't in the middle but fate left him on the side with most of the Grimm, well he wasn't alone Grady, Binda, Jaune, and Ren stood with him.

Roy watched as some students fell into the ravine, everything was going downhill. Roy looked at the group across the broken bridge, they were outnumbered and would need all the support they could get it seemed some others had the same idea; but before he could speak he was hit in the back by a hammer. He flew across the broken bridge and to the other group a groan leaving his lips. Nora and the Champion joined him.

Kuro's POV

Free falling to my doom wasn't a preferred way to go out, especially since I can already hear Vila laughing at my grave. The mist grew thicker but as I got closer to my doom it cleared up, would raven send someone else? The thought roamed around for the last couple of seconds I had left alive, and then I shut my eyes a grin coming across my face. I'll see you soon sis.

The end never came instead something else entirely came, and in other words my self-righteous partner someone had all of us in her arms gliding close to the floor. It ended in the same way it started though it was obvious who took the most damage.

Kianna's endurance began to go out, she was running low and the pain in her right-wing wasn't helping. In the heat of the moment, she released everyone and crashed into the rocky ground her body tumbling and rolling as a result. Luckily, she had aura left to use. That didn't make the pain go away nor the exhaustion.

As she let me go I tumbled around for a bit before stopping, well one thing was certain we reached the bottom. Standing up wasn't an issue, my bones cracked from the minor stretches looking around I saw that Leo guy lying on the floor exhaling aggressively; not that far from him was a standing bat-eared Faunus. She and I were in the healthiest state, not long after looking at her I saw Kianna resting on the ground and she was just about in the condition as Leo. Great.

Well, I was going for brownie points at the moment so I sauntered towards Kianna my feet dragging across the uneven ground; pebbles being tossed to the side. The air down here was humid and moist, and upon a further glance, I noticed some skeletons lying around. One thing was certain we weren't alone. Crouching down my boots folded, my bangs slightly stuck to my forehead from sweat. Ruby eyes glossed over the tawny-skinned female, she had grime in her hair and dirt on her cheek; but she saved my life and everyone else. Our eyes met for a moment and I could practically taste the confusion in the air, my actions caught her by surprise as she let out a yelp. I scooped her up, making sure not to put pressure on her wings. Her ankle was slightly swollen, and despite being in combat she smelled of the forest in a pleasing sense.

Kianna didn't protest much even if she was being held, she understood the predicament they were in. Her eyes went towards Nyx supporting Leo, and the two shared a look for a moment.

"So, not to be that guy but what now?" Leo spoke out trying to figure out what to do as a whole.

I didn't say a word which put pressure on Nyx's shoulders, in hindsight we were relying on her at the moment.

It took her a moment to gather her words, but even I could tell she was about to have a hard time coming up with something. "A Deathstalker fell down here, but there is no sign of it; bones riddle to the area and there is some sort of clicking noise coming from ahead but the mist is smoking over that section." I underestimated her, she knew what she was talking about and the extra information only confirmed what we are were all thinking; but Grimm attacking Grimm wasn't something regular right? Obviously, not which meant the mist had some sort of poisonous properties? It was a reach.

"So, either we head the opposite direction from the mist or move forward?" Kianna asked her voice louder than anticipated.

Nyx shook her head, "The minute we fell down here; was when our fate concluded, if the mist is poisonous we all should be showing signs right? We aren't exposing signs, which means the Deathstalker was destroyed by whatever is down here; and considering the mist-covered our backside recently we are stuck in its trap."

"From the moment we fell its eyes were on us, what if the mist is some sort of sensory? The monster is waiting for us to get close to it before attacking." Leo gave his input which made Nyx shake her head once more, did she figure this all out? How smart was this brat?

If it needs the mist to feel us that means it is blind? We need to test this theory. "Kianna I want you to pick up a bone and toss it into the mist." She didn't say a word as I bent down allowing her to pick up a discarded human bone, with a simple toss the bone clattered against the ground. Nyx began to count the seconds.

Something came down onto the bone, the ground shaking, and an airwave blowing each of us a bit. The bone was gone.

"Five seconds before it attacked, it's a delayed response." Nyx thus turned looked up, 'Whatever it is couldn't go to the very top. Perhaps, it was safe down here? What if it could reach the top but favored hiding and attacking in its own stage?'

Taking a step towards Leo and Nyx and I took in our current situation, "Our only reasonable option is to go straight...we count down from five and reset when we hit zero." I offered what could work and everyone agreed. We then prepared.

Nyx had some knowledge of medical boundaries which helped, since my chest was exposed she ripped a piece of fabric from my jacket and tied it around Kianna's ankle; maybe we would survive this?

Kianna wouldn't lie, the cloth around her ankle irritated her. But it wouldn't pose a problem if they lived, her eyes went directly at the locket around my neck before throwing her arms around my neck. Even if I was somewhat exposed it didn't pose much to her.

Leo began to count down, and once he reached zero we all were off. Each of us was handicapped, there was me holding Kianna and Nyx supporting Leo. That didn't stop us from moving, after the fifth second we all jumped to the side two things came from god knows where and smashed into the ground; the earth around where it smashed breaking.

What happened earlier and Kianna's weight bought my stamina down a hefty amount, and sure the thought of tossing her as bait came and left. Nyx's scream forced me to turn around for whatever reason, they were on the ground somehow they tripped over a bone? Nyx had glasses and the mist wouldn't help with her view, Leo could hardly stand let alone see in the thick mist which meant they were a bad combination at the moment.

Everything slowed for a moment, my instincts were on fire. My reflexes were my greatest attribute besides my skill, five seconds pass the things were coming down. I tossed Kianna to the side, and even she was shocked. I took out Shi and dark red aura covered my legs, the ground under me cracking my legs tensed before I jumped forward the gust of wind behind me and my movements alerting whatever was attacking us. Before the thing could land on the two, my blade lodged inside and cut through with ease. Why is it so soft?

Kianna watched as whatever was after her turned and went towards her partner, he was going to die.

In the air, it turned my body seeing the next thing come forth. Bringing my blade up, it met its demise cutting itself. Tilting my body once more, I landed on my feet; two more things came at me from different angles, my boot shifted on the ground and Shi took out another one the second would've got me if I didn't jump in the air; unlucky for me it changed directions mid-attack and barely missed me. The wind from the attack blew my body into the ragged wall, my aura broken and a sharp rock cut my arm.

I couldn't feel anything next, I could only watch as I went face-first onto the ground. This mist paralyzes the host when a wound opens up, lying on the floor I could only await my downfall.

Leo felt utterly useless at the moment, sure he used his semblance earlier and the fall was pretty rough but he had to help the person fighting to keep them alive. His body outlined brown once more, sweat rolled down his forehead. It wasn't as strong as before, but it was enough to wipe away the mist and tentacle thing that came. With the mist gone for a moment, he got a look at the giant eye above them he reached his limit and passed out.

Kianna forced herself to stand, but before she could do anything a tentacle shot out of the mist heading back towards them, and crushed her against the wall before backing up; with her aura now broken the female fell back down her vision growing blurry.

Nyx saw the eye and didn't hesitate to take out Artemis, with her last remaining dust tipped arrow she took aim. The mist was coming closer, and so were four tentacles. Each shot through the wind, she let go of the arrow and watched as it cut through the air fire sparking not that long after and impaling the eye. Her lens reflected the oncoming attack and she smiled.

Roy's POV

I parried the claw from the Ursa and followed up with a kick in the chest, it bought me some room. Letting a shaky breath out I came to a realization that we would not live past this, my back and ankle was the bain of me followed up with the endless monsters were annoying.

Binda came from the side of the Ursa and gave a solid blow to the face, she was growing fatigued and any more strain would render her deadweight. After the blow, I came up with my Katana and took the head off. My eyes went to Verdant, he was in the middle of taking down two more with breakneck speed. He found it worthy to task himself in protecting Sirvard while she rested, still that was mildly difficult. Jaune and them went after the snake which pleased me.

My body shook slightly as more Ursai stepped into the battle, the odds were against us but we wouldn't stop fighting. With Binda on my side, we both rushed forward, the large female throwing a left hook into an idle Ursa; allowing me cut its head clean off. Another one tried to catch me with my back turned, but Binda came in clutch again from kicking the beast back. More entered the battlefield.

"I will clear most of them out, just handle the stragglers." Her voice cut the tension in my body, and for a moment I didn't believe her; until her gauntlets smashed together and were coated in electricity. I watched as she left in a flash, her body almost a blur. She was getting serious.

Binda threw her fist into the jaw of an Ursa, forcing its head to turn to the side. She came through with an electrifying uppercut, her feet shuffled and dust clouded underneath. Another strike came blowing it onto its back, its friend tried to get a cheeky hit from behind but her immense aura protected her. She turned only to grab the beast by its claw and drag it into the other one. Her calf muscles tensed and she leaped into the air and came down, her leg smashing the two Grimm. Three more neared her, and her bandages loosened around her arms. With a dry cough, she blocked the strike of one of the Grimm and took the seconds one claw with honor. Her blue aura flashed for a moment before she stopped the third one with her gauntlets, the electricity frying its paws. I watched amazed by the show. Her leg came out and she gave a sidekick to the thing pushing it to the side, the first one came again clawing at her back ripping her tank top. Her aura was broken, but the grin she wore was enough to put fear in anyone. She turned her fist breaking the head armor from the Ursa, and she came through with another face hit killing the thing. "COME ON!" The two Ursai rushed at her she would run out soon, she knew this. With what's left of the dust she put both of her hands forward and out came the unstable crystal, it exploded in electricity frying the two plus some. Crimson liquid leaked out of her wounds, but she kept standing.

She was officially a monster in my book, with bent knees I took down the Ursa trying to flee the scene. Hell, if I was them I would too. She was empty, and the last Ursa came at her with greater speed than previous ones, I dashed forward barely making it in time to block the strike. It wasn't worth it, the sheer strength alone pushed my legs into the ground. The bigger Grimm then smacked me to the side, my weapon left my hands as I flew onto the ground. I was overexerting my body, any more would worry about permanent issues. Still, I wouldn't give up. Standing back up with shaky limbs I glared at the monster my vision was blurred and I saw two of them. I ran at it, and it came towards me. It was faster so the paw was hard to dodge but with a narrow roll I barely escaped, picking myself back up I watched as the Grimm raised its arm; did it get bigger? All of the negative thoughts were feeding it helping it grow stronger.

Grady's hook latched onto the neck of the Grimm before taking it clean off, "Stop trying to play hero, and worry about yourself, actually if you want to be useful get everyone to leave the area those girls took care of the Nevermore; all that is left is that snake." Grady ran off to help the Champion.

I watched as the conceited man left, Beacon was something else.

No One's POV

Ozpin stood on the stage as pictures of four students came up, "Verdant Ebon, Roy Carmine, Sirvard Siran, and Binda Cooper. You four recovered the white rook pieces and from this day forward will be known as team VRBS the leader, Verdant Ebon." Loud cheers echoed in the room before the four bowed and left.

Next came four other students, "Cardinal Winchester, Grady Hexert, Dove Trussel, and Sky Lark. You four recovered the black bishop pieces and this day forward will be known as GCDS. The leader Grady Hexert!" Some cheers were echoed out but not as much as the previous team.

The final four of the day came up and each stood up straight well, three out of the four. "Kianna Yöllinen, Nyx Neoma, Leo Bryne, and Kuro Violet. You four took possession of the black pawn pieces and from this day forward will be known as team NKKL. Leader Miss Neoma." People cheered out for the team.

Kuro found his eyes lingering on Ozpin for a moment, a pawn was the most valuable piece. A pawn had the power to become a king given the right steps, but at the moment he had no power; no he was stuck serving his Queen.

"Guess, you aren't all that bad considering you saved a couple of people from death today including me." Kianna's voice shook him from his thoughts and it was almost enough for him to laugh, he did what was needed. He saved her life to gather trust from everyone, in any other instant he would've let everyone die.

"We are partners...no matter how sketchy you are we're bound from this moment on."

He needed to get her to trust him fully cause in the end, he'd need someone to blame or fall back on.

Most people settled in the dorms with ease, for some reason the team he was put on along with everyone else was invited to a party and they were forced to come. Even with the injuries, they sustained people went out of their way to get them to join, luckily Beacon had some advanced medical staff that fixed them up with ease. Well, he hopes they were having fun he had to report to his 'mistress'.

The personalized scroll came out and the teen let the facial recognization scan his features. The cool breeze from the night sky blew his white locks to the side, his thumb scrolled to Raven's contact which was under 'Queen' he'd make a mental note to change it.

He pressed on the contact and the call went through, and then her voice came out. His shackles rung in his head, he was fated to be by Raven's side to be her pawn. But if he played his cards right he could break free and take the crown, the only thing about snatching the crown he'd need to be prepared to take her life.

"It's me...just reporting tell you I made it."

"Is that all? I knew you were going to make it; unless you missed my authority over you?"

"No, but I have a question who is Yang?" He could practically taste the pleasing grin she wore.

"Just my kin, I would be wary around her; she did get her temper and looks for me."

'Noted.' Kuro cleared his throat before hovering his finger over the end button.

"So, do you have a partner?" What was she getting at?

"Yes, some Faunus girl; me and her are a part of this team in which I'm, not a leader-though it's not like I personally care for such a title."

"Vila is raging with jealousy." Through the speaker, he could hear the blonde curse out loud which got a nice reaction out of him, "On a serious note, don't slip up Ozpin is smarter and equally cunning if not more than me."

'I can tell.' White hair cascaded in front of his ruby eyes and for a moment the male felt at peace, "I'm going to head back now signing off." Raven said something but he hung up, he had the power to do that in these moments and it felt good.

Raven rolled her eyes before placing the scroll down, Vernal and Vila stood at the end of her desk.

"He had an attitude...maybe being at Beacon will help him grow." Vernal voiced her thoughts wanting to know Raven's input.

"Perhaps, he'll check back in next month until then go prepare." Her voice sent chills down the two younger girls' spines and they scurried away.

The team colors aren't easy to guess and if I tell you guys them you'll laugh! If you could guess what the team colors are kept it in mind I will say next time! I personally think the highlight of this chapter is Binda's fight. Now the story will start moving, teams are made and you can't guess what'll be in store for them! I must ask everyone to sign a wavier this story will push the limits of M rated! Along that line, this is up to you guys but if you want to pm me a story arc for your character I would be happy to write it; considering I introduced all the characters I think it'll be a good thing.
