"Hey, we ran the license plate number. The car is registered to a Jack Keller." Kevin says and I furrow my eyebrows, that name sounding really familiar. "Jack Keller..Jack- oh my god. He's Kim's ex. The last person she dated before we got together." I say and everyone looks at me. "They were only together for a couple months, but he was head over heels for her. That's why they broke up." Hailey says. "They broke up..because he loved her?" Y/N asks, a hint of confusion in her voice. "No. They broke up because he was obsessed with her. But they also haven't been together in over three years." Hailey snaps a little, quick to defend Kim. "Okay okay, then why is he targeting her now? Jay how long have you guys been together?" Y/N asks, looking at me. "Three years in October." I say, crossing my arms. "Alright. Let's slow down for a moment. Build a timeline. When did Kim break up with Jack?" Kevin asks picking up a whiteboard marker. "March of 2017." Hailey says and Kevin nods writing that down. "And we started dating in October of 2017." I say and he nods, also writing that down. "It's been over three years, something had to have triggered this." Adam says and I bite my cheek, trying my hardest to think of something, anything. "A couple of weeks ago, Kim was at the grocery store and she called me and told me that she thought she was being followed, I've gone practically everywhere with her since." I say and everyone looks at me. "We were gonna tell you guys if it got worse, but nothing else happened and we just..forgot about it. Until now anyway." I say and Hailey rubs my shoulder. "Okay, everyone gear up." Voight says and we all head off to do just that.
