Chapter Eight

"Go ahead Olivia what's up?" "Fen" will asked with the question.

"Detective Stabler is here visiting and he wanted to know on whether or not you were able to arrest Doctor Dennis Yonis?" Olivia asked with looking over at Elliot checking the roses and with moving them around.

"I am afraid not Olivia. When we were going to arrest him at the Metlife building. He shot himself in his office with leaving a suicide note. While the Metro police will be having a field day with his computer listing a client's list of drugs he was selling from several pharmacies."

Olivia whistled. "I will tell him and please keep updated on the outcome of who is on that list to be interesting."

"I will Olivia and please better soon we miss you a great deal. Take care." He ended the call to be speaking to Dominick in the squad room with having copied the list to help out with the Metro police.

"OMG! I can't believe this "Fen" look at this name we might know so well." Dominick will say with a curious look with his expression.

"Is that Assistant Attorney General Malcolm Darby of New York City? The press is going to have a field day once this gets out into the open. " "Fen" said with rubbing his short beard through his fingers. "What about the last ten names on our list?"

"I am still checking on the profiles. However there is one name that stands out as well...Assistant mayor's press secretary Jack Morris. His name is listed with having sold over $100,000 worth of Prescription drugs during the past two years. I am wondering why this wasn't mention on his income tax records?" Dominick will say with his mind thinking of all kinds of scenarios.

"Good question let's go asked him Dominick?" "Fen" made the suggestion with checking his weapon and with informing the captain in charge where they were going.

It didn't take all that long explaining everything to the temp captain in the office understanding. "Please be careful and make sure you will need back up with taking Amanda Rollins with you as well."

Moments later she joined them in the elevator wondering why she was going with them. They will tell her in the car on the way over to the mayor's city hall press corps.

"Are you serious gentlemen going after the Mayor's press secretary? Why?" She questioned them for the answer in her mind.

"We found his name on a client's list telling us that he's been selling and buying high price drugs taken from different pharmacies all part of an operation network by Doctor Dennis Yonis of the Metlife building in Manhattan.

"Wow! The list you mention has opened up a large can of worms?" She was sitting in the back seat shaking her head.

"I agree Amanda. By the way have you spoken with Olivia on the phone as yet?" "Fen" needed to asked since she was upset at the fact that Detective Elliot Stabler was back again in her life after all of the heartache he had caused.

"No I haven't. I was thinking on visiting her tonight once I was done with work and making sure my daughter was fine with the neighbors." She said even though both men knew she was lying through her teeth.

MAYOR'S CITY HALL Press office

Jack Morris age 46 Mayor's press secretary was on the phone in regard to another shipment that was going to arrive at his condo sometime today. However he had heard that Doctor Yonis had shot himself from inside his office leaving a suicide note.

Right now he was nervous on whether or not the client list including his name might of been found on his computer. There was a knock on his office door. He had the feeling this was not a good thing not knowing who it might be. He tells them to come inside with him sitting at his desk having finished with his call and now checking the Mayor's speech for a rally tomorrow for collecting donations.

"Jack Morris we are the police and we have some questions to ask you." As "Fen" and the other two showed their badges making Morris very nervous.

"Gentlemen and Ma'am what's on your mind?" He had to asked with seeing the speech up on the computer for tomorrow.

"We need to know why your last year's tax returns doesn't jive with the actual amounts you had gross with the additional $100,000 that was made off with the selling and buying of pharmacy prescription drugs?"

"How in the world did you find out in the first place?" He placed down his glass drinking coffee onto the desk.

"Unless you're able to prove this monies you're going to jail for dealing and buying drugs. We are taking you in for questioning into the interrogation room. There you will decide on whether you will need a lawyer Mr. Morris." Dominick will say with pulling out his cuffs and placing his wrists behind his back with giving him his rights.

Everyone in the outer office wanted to know just what was going on with the mayor's press secretary. The local press around town are going to have a field day as the detectives and including Amanda Rollins just couldn't believe the entire situation blowing up with the list having been found.

A lot more people were going to be hurt in the process once the other names were involved.

It was around noon time at the hospital with Elliot Stabler having left to come back later. He had an errand to run that will no doubt change his life and Olivia's.

Meanwhile Olivia was sitting up in bed watching the local news about the arrest of the Mayor's press secretary Jack Morris for illegal selling of drugs and many other charges.

Afterwards the reporter had gone into detail about a suicide of a well known doctor Dennis Yonis of the Metlife building in Manhattan. "Police say they have no idea as to why he had killed himself even though a suicide note had been found. Currently there is a investigation going on. I will and this station will bring you all reports in regard to this story."

She turned down the tv with the remote needing to close her eyes. When there was a knock on her door. Thinking that it might be a doctor, nurse or even Elliot again. The neighbor Elaine and her husband George came in with her son Noah needing so bad to see his mother.

Olivia was never so glad to see Noah with the young boy hugging her making sure not to hurt her in the bed. "How in the world did you ever get the doctors to let Noah to come here?" She had to asked with a wide eye smile on her face and Noah really glad as with the neighbors.
