Fun In The Sun - Part 2
Chapter 8 : Heading Out
June 20th - Kryptarium Prison
12:25 p.m.
The Young Ninja were each at their homes getting ready for their little vacation with their parents.
While doing that though, the adults were at work after saying they were getting time off, and at Kryptarium Prison, Killow was talking to Cole and Morro.
Killow : So my teammates are going on a little retreat, and are living The Big Man to guard the big house.
Cole : It's not like that Killow.
Killow : I know, I'm just messing with you, what about the kids?
Morro : They're coming with us, after the past year they deserve a break too, the "Old Ninja" don't want to leave the kids after that capture stunt you and Ultra-Stupid pulled last summer.
Killow : Eh, she's not getting out of here again, I'll make sure of that.
They heard Ultraviolet screaming and punching a bag hanging in her cell.
Killow : I don't think she'll ever change, and at first she wanted to pummel Harumi after betraying us and she still got arrested, so at first she had everybody as her enemy, and now she's just trying to get on with her life, while Ultraviolet won't ever let go of hers.
Morro : Sort of annoys me that she's still one of the ones that got away, The Mechanic was Cubed and shattered when the energy cube hit the ground, Charlie killed Clouse, Eric killed Nadakhan, Siddie defeated The Plague Doctor, The Grandchildren of Garmadon saved their Grandfather and stopped the Oni, and now look at where they are.
Cole : Somehow I feel like for perhaps The Mechanic's worst enemy, Kieran wasn't really involved in the new Prime Empire.
Morro : Maybe, but at least the kids are all gonna beside each other, I'm sure that's all they would want for their Summer.
The three of them agreed, and were wondering of how the kids were doing now.
30 Minutes Later, at The Royal Palace of Ninjago. . .
The Young Ninja were all there, mainly since they were waiting for The Grandchildren of Garmadon, and Alizah entered Montgomery and Lydia's Room.
Alizah : Montgomery, can I have my Book?
Montgomery : You lent it to me, remember?
Alizah : Yea, like over a year ago.
Montgomery : Take it.
Montgomery gave Alizah her book ( Which was about Fritz Donnegan, but that wasn't surprising ) and she left the room.
Alizah was wearing a Long-Sleeve Dark Magenta shirt that had a Butterfly on it, Black Pants, and she had her long blond hair down, and there were a few Light-Purple streaks in her hair ( Her hair was usually always like that, and what she was wearing was usually her Civilian Outfit )
Lydia was simply wearing her Civilian Outfit, and she was off doing something in the Palace.
Liam's Civilian Outfit was a Black Jacket, Lavender Purple Shirt, and Gray Pants.
Montgomery's Civilian Outfit was the same as Lloyd's, with a Green Shirt and Dark Green Jacket that had a dragon symbol on the back of it, and Brown Pants.
Just then Liv came over and saw Alizah.
Alizah : Hi, Mommy.
Liv : Hey Alizah, what's that?
Alizah : My Book, finally remembered I gave it to Montgomery over a year ago, and now he decides to give it back, little advice, don't take him to the library.
Liv : Noted.
Montgomery was talking to Lloyd and Misako, in the Living Room.
Montgomery : So is there anything in particularly you want to do at first, when we get there?
Emperor Lloyd : I don't know exactly Son, all I know is that I want to spend time with you and Lydia.
Misako : You should hurry up though, the bus is going to be here in a while.
Montgomery : I know.
Just then, Harumi and Garmadon entered the room, and they were both curious.
Empress Harumi : Hi, Guys.
Emperor Lloyd : Hey Rumi, what's going on?
Garmadon : Have you seen, Lydia?
Montgomery : I thought I saw her in the Temple of Resurrection.
Emperor Lloyd : What's she doing in there?
Empress Harumi : We'll go see.
Harumi and Garmadon leave the room and walk towards The Temple of Resurrection to find Lydia.
10 Minutes Later. . .
Harumi and Garmadon walked up the stairs and they could hear Lydia's Voice.
Princess Lydia : The Spider's in the House, sleep sleep, The Spider bit the Mouse, sleep deep, don't wake up or else you'll find a Spider in your Mouth.
They made it inside the temple and saw Lydia was sitting on the Pedestal, and they heard she was sniffling.
Harumi and Garmadon looked at each other and approached Lydia, and saw she was slightly kicking her legs, but in her hands.

She was holding The Oni Mask of Agitation.
Empress Harumi : Lydia?
Princess Lydia : I can't stop having Nightmares about this thing, I donned it before, and I had to wear masks to pretend to be a monster, until for a short time, I became one.
Garmadon and Harumi saw Lydia was sniffling, as she stared at the Mask of Agitation, seeing it as a "Dark Memory".
Empress Harumi : I felt the same way when I wore The Mask of Hatred, Lydia.
Lydia shook her head and spoke.
Princess Lydia : It felt like I was Living in a Nightmare the second I reached through at Golden Flame at The Oni Temple, and was holding this thing in my hands, It felt like despite leaning towards The Dragons' Side, this thing has an even darker mark than the Oni inside it, yet at the same time, it helps me remember who I truly am, keeping it in one piece any time I see it.
Harumi then kissed Lydia's cheek, and pulled her daughter into her arms, and gave her a hug as she carried her daughter in her arms, and Garmadon held the Mask.
Empress Harumi : It's okay Lydia, your Grandfather and I have both gone through that same time, your Grandfather was an Oni himself corrupted by those Masks, and what you're feeling, I went through as well, you're the not the only one who's had those thoughts, and while I know it worries you, you probably won't be the last.
Princess Lydia : Thank you Mommy, I love you.
Empress Harumi : Of course Lydia, and I love you too.
Harumi kissed Lydia and let her down, and the three of them went back inside the palace, and put The Mask of Agitation away ( In the place where The Mask of Deception used to be, but Killow uses it to take down Prisoners who try escaping, but don't get too far from Kryptarium Prison )
Inside The Palace. . .
Charlie : So they're actually allowing pets over there?
Kai : Yea, only small creatures though, because they don't want creatures that'll cause trouble.
Princess Lydia : Works for me, I'm just glad I can bring Ultra.
Emperor Lloyd : Alright kids, let's go.
Everybody walked outside the Palace and they saw the bus.
Driver : Hello Ninja, and Young Ninja of course.
The kids were slightly laughing and giggling at what the driver said, since his tone made it funny.
Driver : I am here to drive you all to the Lotus Blossom Spa and Resort.
Kai : Alright, let's do this kids.
The Young Ninja and their Parents all put the luggage on the bus, and then sat down as the bus drove away from The Royal Palace.
During the Bus Ride, each of the kids were "Entertaining" themselves, or simply looking out the window.
The seat where The Royal Family was, was slightly smaller than the others, so Montgomery was sitting in between Harumi and Lloyd, and Lydia was sitting in her father's lap and looking out the window.
Princess Lydia : I'm looking forward to this.
Montgomery : Little Sis, you've said that five times.
Princess Lydia : I know, and Daddy.
Emperor Lloyd : Yes, Lydia?
Princess Lydia : I don't see why Aunt Liv keeps calling you the "Little Brother" since you're taller, it's hard for me to understand how you can still hear her considering how far down she is.
Lloyd laughed at hearing Lydia's Joke, since Lydia was right with Liv being the Older, but Shorter Twin, though he did find it a bit offensive.
Emperor Lloyd : Don't go too far, Lydia.
Princess Lydia : Okay.
The bus kept going, and the kids were either looking out the window or talking to their parents.
Eric : I really want to wash away Dad and Nina in a water fight, Mom.
Nya : Just don't use your powers too hard Eric.
Eric : Okay, I won't use my powers too hard, the only power I've seen from Nina and Dad is from their mouths.
Jay : We can hear you.
Eric : I know.
Nina : I think Charlie's looking forward to this.
Charlie : So, we're going to a resort for the next few weeks, and I'm hoping to enjoy myself, I wonder how many people are gonna be asking me to tell stories about every adventure over the past year.
Felicia : Hopefully the start of this summer is better than the last one.
Skylor : It will be Felicia, the Sons of Garmadon aren't escaping anymore, and your grandfather isn't going to host another tournament of elements.
Kai : I hope not, it wasn't great the first time, or the second.
Xavier : I for one and looking forward to destroy you in the Game Room, Dad.
Zane : We'll see, Xavier.
Xavier : I sort of wish I could have gone in Prime Empire 2, it sounded amazing to Eric and Nina.
Hazel was on the bus too, since Xavier wanted her to come.
Hazel : I'm sure it would have been, but we aren't like them, we would be messed up if we went in there, we could have turned into Red Visors, and I like my ones and zeroes just the way they are, thank you.
Pixal : And besides, out of all things your father and I have ever invented, You're the greatest, Xavier.
Xavier : Thank you, Mom.
Opal : I wonder what's gonna be done first, Siddie standing in the Exercise Room lifting a huge weight?
Lilly : I'd like to see her lift that much, though it's been made clear to me that Siddie's strength doesn't comes from her hands, but her Heart.
Cole : I'm sure she's just glad you're here Mom, and I know I am.
Lilly : I know Cole, and I'm proud of you.
Siddie : Maybe I should try lifting one of my friends up with one of my arms, that would be Impressive, right, Mama?
Opal : Wait and see Siddie, just because your father's done it with your friends, doesn't mean you should do it.
Richard : I know she should try to actually play hide and seek the right way.
Morro : What do you mean, Son?
Richard : She uses her powers and disappears, so I can't see her at all, even if I find her hiding place.
Cole : Smart move.
Siddie : Thank you.
The Young Ninja then remained on the bus with their parents, for the next hour, until the bus stopped in front of the Resort.
Emperor Lloyd : You sure you're gonna be okay, Lydia?
Princess Lydia : Yea... I will be.
Montgomery : Good, because I want to use this time with you.
Charlie : So do I.
Charlie looked up from his seat, since Lydia was behind him, and he smiled.
Princess Lydia : I know Charlie.
Charlie : You ever dreamed of vacations like this?
Princess Lydia : Not really, but it's like I said... I always dreamed of being with You.
Charlie smiled, and he turned around and sat back down, and the bus was approaching the Resort, with the kids knowing they were going to have a good vacation with their Parents.
Next Time on The Young Ninjas : The kids arrive and are looking forward to resort, with several different things to do with the time they have, the only problem is deciding what to do first. . .
