*The Next Day*
Liam woke up at 5AM
Gabi groaned as she heard Liam's cries from the baby monitor. Troy didn't leave until 12PM last night as they had a lot to talk about. Gabi got up out of her bed and walked into Liam's room. Liam immediately stood up and lifted his arms out to be carried out of his crib. Gabi picked him up and started to change his diaper. After changing him, she walked out to the living room where his play mat was and set him down on the floor while she went to brush her teeth. She had a baby monitor in every room to make sure she can always keep watch of Liam since she was by herself.

After finishing, Gabi headed into the living room to see Liam playing contently. She walked to the kitchen and started to make breakfast and coffee. Gabi never used to drink coffee until she had Liam. She needed to be awake to take care of him when he was a baby, and now she was just used to drinking coffee in the morning especially when she was tired.

Gabi walked out of the kitchen and brought a big and little plate out and placed in on the table. She cut up the food and placed Liam into his highchair. She placed a bib on him, handed him his water cup, and dumped the cut-up food onto his tray while she sat down and ate her breakfast and drank her coffee. Gabi looked over at Liam and noticed he finished his food. Liam looked at Gabi and said, "Mama, more."

Gabi took her food and cut it up and gave it to Liam. She didn't have much food left and was trying to save as much as she could. She didn't want to ask for help and made a mental note that she needed more food. Gabi held back her tears as she knew she would be starving for a few hours and just filled herself up with coffee. She pulled her phone out and checked how much money she had left in her account and checked prices of food in nearby wholesale clubs or supermarkets. Gabi had only $150 left in her account and made a list of what she needed from the store. She needed to keep around $40 in her account to pay for gas for her car. Liam was so happy eating his food. He was so innocent and knew nothing about finances or the struggle Gabi was experiencing. Gabi's phone rang and she answered it.

"Hello?" Gabi said

"Hey, I just woke up, and wanted to see if I can come over?" Troy asked

"I'm going to run to the supermarket. I only have food left for lunch and Liam eats a lot. I need to stretch out what I'm making for the rest of the week so I can at least feed him. I can go without food, but he needs to be fed." Gabi said

Troy listened to what Gabi was saying and felt his heart break. He needed to get her moved in with him as soon as possible.

"Gabi, can I cook for you and Liam from now on?" Troy asked

"Troy, you really don't have to. I can figure something out." Gabi said

"Brie, please let me do this for you. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't be in this situation right now. If we were still together, we would have been married, and living together. Possibly with a child or two already and you working in something science related. Sharpay told me you changed your major because of me, so I imagine you would still be science. I texted the group earlier today about the house hunting stuff and they all agreed. We want to go look at houses later today. Brie, please let me take care of you and Liam. I don't want to imagine what will happen when you have no food left, and such." Troy said

Gabi sighed and gave in. Gabi knew Troy was being sincere and really wanted to take care of her and Liam. It was true that they would have still been together, married and with children by now, and she would have stuck to science.

"Can Liam and I come house hunting with you?" Gabi asked

"Yeah, sure. Since you won't be needing to go to the store, can I come over and meet Liam?" Troy asked

"Yeah, sure. I think he'll be excited." Gabi said

"Okay, I'll be there in a second." Troy said

A few seconds later, Troy knocked on Gabi's door. Gabi opened her door and let Troy in. Liam was on the playmat playing with toys when he saw Troy walk in. Liam stood up and walked slowly to Troy.

"I Liam." Liam said to Troy while looking up at him
Troy bent down to Liam's height and said, "I'm Troy. It's nice to meet you."

Liam nodded his head, and Gabi said, "Liam, Troy is a good friend of Mommy's. He's going to come over every day. Is that okay?"

"Okay." Liam said. Liam grabbed Troy's pointer finger and dragged him to the playmat to play with him.

Gabi smiled watching them play together and knew Liam was happy.

*Later in the day*

Sharpay, Zeke, Taylor, Chad, Troy, Liam and Gabi all carpooled to the open houses. We all looked at every house and toured the inside and outside of them all. Gabi was held Liam and walked around the houses with him. Liam was becoming restless as he didn't take his afternoon rest and was tired of walking. Gabi picked him up and he rested his head on Gabi's shoulder and started to fall asleep.

"Should we leave?" Troy asked Gabi

"No, it's okay, once he's asleep he will be fine." Gabi said

*An hour later*
Sharpay, Zeke, Taylor, Chad, Troy, Liam and Gabi were all headed to Zeke's restaurant to discuss the houses. Liam was still asleep in Gabi's arms when they all arrived. They all sat down at their usual table and started the discussions.

"I really liked all the houses. They are all in a nice location, it's all gated, and the houses are huge. Plus, they all match our personalities." Sharpay said

"Yeah, I really liked every single one of them too. I agree that the houses are exactly what we are looking for and very much match each couple." Troy said

Troy pulled Gabi to the side and asked her what she thought of the houses.

"I really liked them all. It's all up to you ultimately though because you're the one who will be paying for the house." Gabi said

"Yes, but I want you to be happy since that will be OUR house. It's where we will be when we get married, where we raise our kids, etc." Troy said
Gabi let the tears she was holding fall. "How did I get so lucky to have you back in my life? You are so willing to take care of a child that isn't even yours, and of me even though we aren't even married yet."

"Troy wiped Gabi's tears away and said, "This should have been the next step we took had I not been an idiot and broke it off. I've always wanted you to live with me. I know that Liam isn't my child, but I will love and take care of him like he's mine because I care about him and about you."

*A few days later*

Taylor Chad, Sharpay Zeke and Troy, Liam Gabi had put in offers on the houses they wanted and were all approved. They each cleared their apartments and had moved into their respective houses.

Taylor Sharpay were super happy to see Gabi finally happy and content with her life. Gabi had told them that her and Troy were continuing where they left off as opposed to starting over since she had Liam. Taylor Sharpay agreed that it was a great idea. They noticed Liam was super happy and comfortable around Troy as well.

*A year later*

Troy Gabi were engaged, and Liam was now 2. Troy started basketball practice as the season was going to be starting up again. Gabi had called her old law firm and had negotiated with them. They would have her as part of the law representatives for Troy's team if they were needed, and she would have cases here and there. They told her it was okay to work from home as they knew she still had Liam and he was not in school yet. However, if they needed her to go in for a case, they would let her know in advance so she can find a babysitter (which mostly became Lucille Jack). The firm was so happy to have her back. None of the lawyers they had were as great as she was, and they had missed having her. Liam still loved having Troy around to play with him, and Troy loved to play with him when he had the chance to. Gabi Troy had heard Liam call Troy "Daddy" one day and didn't correct him. Liam did not know any different. They would explain more to him when he was older as he would not understand at his age.

Sharpay Zeke were now married and have a child on the way. Zeke had opened a new bakery. His restaurants have all been doing very well. Sharpay had clothing lines in the works, released a makeup line, and nail polish line.

Taylor Chad were also now married and had a child. Chad was also now in basketball practice due to him and Troy being on the same team. Taylor, being a nurse, had shifts at different times. She mostly tried to keep her night shifts empty so she could make Chad's games when they would begin.
