The next day…

"So, what did Michael say? A simple seek and destroy mission wasn't it?" said Dom as he looked at the console screen in Airwolf as they flew over the complex used as the gang's headquarters.

"Yeah, why's that Dom?"

"Because 2 heavily armed choppers have just taken off from there String. I can also see lots of activity. Looks like they are loading trucks ready to head out."

"Which, would be just as expected, if they plan to get the stuff into the US tonight." said String. "Let's just get this done Dom and get back to Cait."

"Hey, no arguments from me String."

"Full combat mode Dom and where are those choppers?"

"Heading off the grid to the west at the moment String."

String turned the Lady and headed back towards the complex, this time coming in lower and firing a copperhead off at the building believed to be the Methamphetamine lab, blowing it to pieces. Swinging around, another missile destroyed the fuel supplies and 3 trucks. By now, there were people running everywhere, some were firing guns at Airwolf, but most were trying to take cover, and there didn't appear to be any weaponry available that would be able to take the Lady down.

Flying slightly east of the complex, String could see some trucks already on the move. Skillfully, using the chain guns he rendered them immovable before returning to the devastation of the complex to make sure nothing had been left intact. Michael had organised ground personnel to deal with the gang's members who managed to escape Airwolf's onslaught, so String was happy that everything that needed to be destroyed had been.

"Uh oh" exclaimed Dom "those choppers are heading back this way and coming in fast."

"It figures Dom." replied String.

Both helicopters were soon behind Airwolf.

"They want to show us what they've got to offer String." said Dom "they're sending us a couple of heat seekers."

"Sun burst Dom."

"Sun burst."

The sun burst connected with one missile and it exploded harmlessly in the sky. With the second missile on his tail, String swung round and towards one of the helicopters, pulling up and over it at the last second. The heat seeker made contact with the helicopter and it exploded in a ball of flames.

Before the second helicopter was able to take another shot at Airwolf, String had taken the Lady up above it and slamming on the brakes, had put himself in a position behind it. Lowering his visor, String fired, sending the second helicopter to the ground in flames.

"Nice shooting String." said Dom. "Now, can we just back to our girl please?"

"Yeah" said String turning to look over his shoulder at Dom. Dom could tell that String was smiling. "I think Cait will be happy with the way things turned out here."
