Chapter Nine
Draco woke with his arms around Hermione, and their bedroom door being pushed open,
"Lola, let them sleep" he heard Izzy say,
"It's ok Izzy" he called,
"Hi daddy" she smiled moving to his side of the bed,
"Shh, Mummy is still asleep" he said, "Come sit next to me" he said patting the bed, "Did you have fun last night?" he smiled,
"Yeah," she smiled, "Did you and mummy have fun" she asked, Draco smiled,
"Yup, we had lots of fun " he said, "you go spend time with Izzy" he smiled giving her a squeeze, "I'll make your mummy and we'll be out soon" he smiled,
"Ok" she said giving him a kiss and jumping from the bed,
"Close the door quietly" he said as he reached it, she nodded and closed it behind her, Draco turned to Hermione leaning down to press a gentle kiss to her lips,
"Mm" she sighed, before letting out a gasp as his wandering hand moved to cup her womanhood,
"Morning my love" he smiled, slipping a finger inside her causing her to moan, "Shh, we wouldn't want to traumatize sweet Izzy now" he smiled as he added a second finger, Hermione bit her tongue as she grabbed at the sheets on the bed her hips lifting from the bed forcing his magical fingers deeper, "So needy" he smiled, removing the digits from her and licking them clean, "Lets have a shower" he smiled seeing her head fell back onto the pillow,
"I..." she breathed out, "Could kill…you" she groaned out,
"And here I thought you couldn't get enough of me" he smiled standing to face her, his erection standing proud, "Are you coming?" he smiled, Hermione let out a growl and pushed herself from the bed and followed him into their bathroom.
"Morning" Hermione said as she made her way into the front room where Lola and Izzy where playing a card game,
"Morning" Izzy smiled, "You look radiant" she winked, "Doesn't she Lola?"
"Yeah" Lola smiled, "What does radiant mean?" she asked,
"It means, very happy" Izzy smiled, "You must have got back late?" she said as Hermione joined them at the table,
"Fairly, you were sound asleep so I thought we'd let you sleep and run you home this morning." Hermione said taking an apple from the fruit bowl,
"Thanks" she smiled, "Hermione" she turned to look at her, "Is that offer still available?" Hermione nodded,
"It always will be" she said, Izzy passed her phone to Hermione who looked at the text
*Mum: 7:30am – Don't come home, your dad is on the war path. Will text you when he calms down.
Mum: - 8:00am – dads calmed but would give it a few days just encase*
"You stay as long as you want" Hermione said.
"Morning" Draco said as he joined them giving Hermione a kiss before making his way to the kitchen,
"Daddy, can I have a bacon sandwich" Lola called,
"Shure, anyone else want one?" he called.
"Since you're offering" Izzy smiled, Hermione got to her feet and joined Draco in the kitchen,
"Hey" he smiled, "Legs still work then" he smirked at her,
"Just about" she smiled, "Izzy will be staying a little longer" she said, Draco turned to look at her,
"What's wrong?" he asked when his eyes met hers
"Her dad is on the war path" she sighed, "I just don't get it, she is such a lovely young woman, I just don't understand how he can be…" Hermione said leaning against the the counter, Draco moved from the hob and stood in front of her placing his hands on her hips.
"She's lucky to have you" he smiled, "You'll get her through to the other side" he smiled giving her a kiss.
"I'll have one too" she said when he returned to the hob,
"Right" Hermione smiled returning to the table, "I feel like a shopping trip is in order, just us girls" she smiled,
"Yay" Lola smiled, "can we invite Aunty Ginny" she asked,
"Not this time, I think us three need a day out, I'll ask Ginny next time" Hermione smiled,
"That sounds lovely" Izzy said sadly,
"Draco's paying, aren't you love" she called,
"Sorry?" he poked his head round the door,
"Just say yes my love" Hermione smiled,
"Yes" he shrugged before returning to his cooking.
Hermione smiled as Izzy stepped out of the changing rooms, they were currently having a laugh having Lola pick out an outfit to try, this time Izzy had a baseball cap on with an oversize shirt and some very short shorts and over the knee socks.
"Hot" Hermione said,
"Other than the hat I actually love it" Izzy laughed, Lola came back with the assistant another armful of clothes,
"Your daughter should be a designer, she had a good eye" the assistant smiled,
"She does, doesn't she" Izzy said posing for them.
Hermione had called up a high-end fashion boutique and booked up a personal shopping day so they had the run of the whole shop,
"Mummy next" Lola smiled giving Hermione a pile of clothes,
"Aww but I'm feeling fat today" she said,
"Mummy's not fat she's beautiful" Lola said putting her hands on her hips, "I'll tell daddy and he'll tell you off" she said, the three adults burst out laughing.
They returned home late that afternoon,
"Daddy" Lola smiled running into the front room, "Uncle Ron?" she said stopping dead,
"Hey Squirt" Ron smiled,
"Ron?" Hermione smiled, "What a surprise" she said looking to Draco who shrugged,
"Harry sent me, I need to talk to you guys" Ron said,
"Oh, um, Izzy?" Hermione turned to the younger woman, "Could you take Lola and keep her busy" she asked,
"Sure, come on Lola lets go play fashion show with your barbies," Izzy smiled,
"But I got daddy a present" she said,
"Ok you can give him it before playing with Izzy" Hermione said picking out one of the bags and handed it to her daughter,
"Here daddy I picked it and the nice lady wrapped it" she smiled as Draco pulled her into his lap and unwrapping the gift,
"You picked this for me?" he asked as the gift was revealed; a deep burgundy shirt "It's lovely, I will try it on later" he smiled giving her a kiss,
"Mummy said you like red" Lola smiled,
"Well, it looks good on mummy" Draco smiled, "You go play with Izzy" he smiled,
"Love you" she smiled jumping down, "It nice to see you Uncle Ron" she smiled running off,
"Thanks Izzy" Hermione smiled.
"What's this about?" Draco said once Lola's bedroom door clicked shut,
Hermione moved to sit on the arm of the sofa beside Draco,
"Harry asked me to get Draco to come back and help with finding Lucious" Ron said,
"No!" Draco said,
"Harry is at a loss, you are the best finder we have" Ron said,
"No way, I'm not leaving Hermione and Lola" he said,
"I would stay to look after them" Ron said,
"Draco" Hermione said placing a hand on his shoulder,
"No Hermione, I've only just found you, I'm not leaving" he said, "Not that I don't trust you Weasley, but they are my life and I will not leave their safety in anyone else's hands." Draco said,
"Ron, could you excuse us for a minute" Hermione said getting to her feet, "Draco" she said offering her hand and leading him to their bedroom, Hermione cast a silencing charm before turning to face him,
"Hermione I'm not going" he said,
"I don't want you too" she said wrapping her arms around his waist, "But I also don't want Lola looking over her shoulder for the rest of her life," she said, "Ron is a good Auror, he can protect us just as well as you" she sighed, "You are the best seeker"
"I'm telling Potter that" he said wrapping his arms around her,
"Twat" she laughed, "Do this for our children Draco, do it so they can grow up like children should and not looking over their shoulders in fear" she said looking up at him,
"I really don't want to" he sighed, "But as usual you are right" she held her tighter,
"as usual" she smirked,
"What are we going to tell Lula?" he sighed,
"The truth, that you are the best person to find the scary man and send him to prison" Hermione said
"Hermione, I love you…When I get back…" he said before leaning down to kiss her, "I'm going to marry you" he said before pulling away and leaving her standing there in shock.
"I don't understand" Lola stomped her foot "Why does daddy have to go!"
"Lola, you know that daddy worked with Uncle Harry and Ron catching bad people, well Ron is very good at keeping people safe and your daddy is very good at finding people" she said,
"Like he found us?" she asked,
"Yes, just like he found us…but this time, he's got to find a bad man" Hermione said,
"The bad man who took me?" she looked to Draco
"Yeah, Uncle Harry has tried his hardest to find him, but he's not the best at finding people" Draco said taking the girl in his arms and holding her close.
"So, how do you know Hermione and Draco" Izzy asked,
"School and I work with Draco" he said, "Well I did until he took the sabbatical to come out here to be with Hermione" he said,
"Were you all friends at school?" she asked,
"Um," Ron smirked, "Not at all…well Me, Hermione and Harry where friends, Draco was…well he was a pompous prat" Ran said,
"Really?" Izzy said wide eyed,
"Oh yeah" Ron said, "But he grew up to be a good man" Ron admitted, "I mean if he wasn't, I would have killed him for laying a finger on my first love" Ron said,
"You and Hermione?" she asked,
"More like just me, Hermione knew we were better as friends but I loved her for the longest time" he admitted, "but enough about me, how did you meet her?" Ron smiled,
"Oh, she needed a babysitter while she was starting up the business, I needed money while I was in my first year of university" she said, "We just got on really well and she took me in like a sister, gives me a place to study and crash when home gets too much" she said,
"She has a heart of gold that girl" Ron smiled, "So you still studying?" he asked,
"Sort off, I'm on placement at Lola's school, I have exams early in the new year and then as long as I get the grades, I'll officially be a primary school teacher" she smiled,
"Don't forget to keep some time for you" he laughed,
"I do…I just spend it with Hermione and Lula or in my bedroom ignoring my parents arguing" she said,
"No man to look after you?"
"No, most boys I know are immature and as much as I have asked, Hermione won't let me have Draco" she laughed,
"Well, when Draco gets back, maybe you could show me the town" Ron winked causing Izzy to blush as red as Ron's hair,
"Uncle Ron" Lula walked over to him, "Mummy said you are staying to keep the bad man away" she said,
"That I am squirt" he smiled,
"Thank you," she said,
"You're welcome" Ron smiled, "And your daddy will be back before you know it" Ron smiled.
Draco left that evening and Lola had cried herself to sleep, Ron had excused himself to get some sleep, leaving Izzy and Hermione alone in the front room,
"Hermione, what is going on?" she asked, Hermione let out a sigh,
"I told you about Draco's father, he thinks I'm not good enough for Draco" she said,
"Yeah?" Izzy looked at her,
"And I told you someone tried to kidnap Lula six months ago" she continued,
"You mean it was his father?" Izzy gasped,
"Yeah, Harry has had people looking for him, but has had no luck, Draco is a finder, he finds people it's what he's good at and the fact that they are looking for his father makes him unequally qualified to find him, so Ron has come to make sure we are safe while Draco helps find his father" she sighed, the two of them sat in silence "There's something else," Hermione said, she had spoken with Kingsley the last time she had seen him to get permission to tell Izzy everything.
"What is it?" she said smiling,
"I want to tell you something, but you can't tell another soul" she said,
"what?" Izzy looked at her,
"Please, I trust you with my life, my child's life and my secret" Hermione said,
"Ok…I won't tell anyone" she said Hermione pulled her wand from the holster strapped to her leg,
"I'm a witch," she said, "so is Ginny, and Draco, Ron and Harry are all wizards" Hermione said before pointing her wand at the empty mug on the table, with a flick she transfigured it to a rabbit. Izzy moved closer eyes wide and touched the animal expecting to to disappear,
"You really are a witch?" she said, "But then can you just do a spell to find Draco's dad" she asked,
"The issue is…he's a wizard too" Hermione said.
"Fair enough" she said they sat in silence for a while to Izzy digested the information. "Thank you" Izzy said,
Hermione looked at her,
"For telling me, so where your parents magical?" Izzy smiled picking up the rabbit and stroking it, the two of them sat talking late into the night, until Hermione had to give in her eyes hardly staying open.
"Good night Hermione" she smiled as Hermione transfigured the rabbit back into a mug
"Night Izzy, I'll see you in the morning" she smiled before heading to her own bedroom.
