Chapter 10
As the two hunters walkout from the trees, Saachi was ahead of the other hunter that uses the insect glaive. The other hunter had short raven black hair that stopped at the base of her shoulder, flipping out at the tip. The bangs were pulled out the way the that is framing her lightly tan skin that fell in front of her ears hiding them a little. The light shines down making her block the light out of her jade green eyes. There was a small scar running down her lip on the right side that did not make it to the skin. Saachi could see the target eating her kill, the green wyvern had a green ridge running down its spin down and her tail with a lot of spikes on its tail tip that was housing her poison, with brown markings on her wings with a brown main on her back between her shoulders. It had a light brown underbelly that ran all the way down its undertail, her underbelly ran down into her inner legs with a brown running down from her knees giving the rest of the lower legs mid-brown colour. She haves sharp black claws at the end of her powerful legs will it had seven spick coming out of her wings getting smaller near the wingtip that had small claws at the tip of its wings. She hides behind a large stone boulder and watches the wyvern rip another big chuck from the Aptonoth it killed will the other hunter got next to her they seen it throwing it head up to get the flash into mouth better. Saachi ran from behind the stone boulder to attack it but the other hunter stopped her by pulling her back behind the rock as the monster looked where Saachi ran from. It's golden eyes with blue sclera around the golden iris with a green ridge running in the middle of her head going down into her upper neck. It had the light brown colour running down under her jaw going into her inner ear with a black chin horn. Its thick, short horns long are on the back of her head and have a frill that runs down from its horns behind her ears.
"Running out there will get you carted, hunting the 'Queen of the land' you need to know about the Rathin. She attacks with her poison in her tail and her fire breath, so make sure you watch for those." The other hunter scrolled her. The other hunter looked behind the rock to see the Rathin when back to eating. Seeing Saachi run from the other side of the boulder at the Rathin tail slashing down just to be reflected off the scales. Rathin turns around again, coming face to face with Saachi as she takes a step back. It put its upper body straight up letting a load roar out making the hunters cover their ears as it swung its tail smoking Saachi, sending her flying back leaving a little bit of her poison. Out from the boulder, the other hunter shot something out of the end of the incest glave splatting it in the face-covering one of her eyes. The Rathin strapped back as it got attacked by the insect that flew off of the hunter's right arm as she pulled Saachi up from the ground. The kinase flu around the Rathin swooping in again landing another attack on her head, the hunter called it back to her giving some red dust. She has let the kinase off her arm to fly straight for Rathin again attacking her left-wing flying back to her giving her some white dust. She held the glaive in her left hand and held it so her elbow was helping to hold it as Saachi unsheath her sword as well holding her shield up.
The Rathin got herself up off the ground swooping in with claws, the hunters dodge the incoming attack. Saachi looked to see it coming back for her with its claws nearly ramming her just to have it fall out of the sky with her mentor on its back. The Rathin got herself upswing her tail getting Saachi with it. As Saachi slides to a stop she could see Rathin trying to shake her mentor off then she stepped on the ground throwing her weight into it nearly getting her off but it left her open for her mentor to get her hunting knife out to stab it. She could see the Rathin ready to try to shake her off again, Saachi ran in slashing at its legs making him trip a little giving Saachi's mentor more time to get her knife into again before she had to drink an antidote to take the poison out of her.
With the last stab she did she turn her knife getting it to fall to the ground, Saachi when to work at her tail leaving shallow cuts out throw its tail. She piercing throw her tail as she thrust her sword into it, her mentor joins her using her glave slashing down to quickly swing it costing it becomes severed. The Rathin roared when it felt the sharp blade that lines the top of the glave cut throws its tail. The Rathin got to her feet and let out a roar making both hunters cover their ears, without warning Saachi was scratch by one of her claws across her left side. Clamping her side the Rathin came swooping in grabbing Saachi off the ground. Her mentor was able to hear what was going on to see Saachi in its claws as she was thrown to the ground to bouncing off just to reland hard on the ground. Saachi uses her left hand since she dropped her sword when she hit the ground the first time pulling herself back as she had used her right one in front of her in fear.
Rathin cocked her head back building a fireball in her mouth firing at saachi as she quickly pulled herself up to her feet just to dive to the ground covering her head as she landed on the ground as the fireball exploded next to her. Uncovering her head she pulled herself up off the ground to see the Rathin swooping in again with her claw in front of her, Saachi grabbed a flash boom from her item pouch throwing it at her feet covering her eyes with her left arm and the Rathin feel out of the sky landing on its stomach pulling itself up to its feet not giving the hunter a chance to attack him. He got into the air Saachi's mentor sheath her insect glaive to her back to throw a paintball hitting the Rathin feet as it flew up into the air to fly to her nest. As they watch her for a will to know the way to her nest when they get ready, Saachi grabbed a position from the pain she was feeling after hitting the ground, down it to whip the little that ran out of the side of her lips. She walks over picking her sword up from the ground sheathing it. She has seen her mentor walk up to her handing her a max position saying to her. "Drink it, it will help you out because you are going to be killing it this time."
Following the paint trail, Saachi leads them to the Rathin nest where she was sleeping a little away from her eggs. There was to boulders close to the sleeping Flying Wyvern, moving behind them they had seen her still asleep Saachi and her mentor place some booms barrels that they place close by next to her head, her mentor hide behind the boulders and Saachi jumped back unsheathing her sword as she jumped forward slashing into the barrels killing the Rathin and sending Saachi fling back to roll on her shoulders to a holding stop.
As the hunters were carving some parts of the killed Rathin a huge Rathios that was silver in colour with black markings over its body and black flame marking on his wings, they quickly hid behind the boulders. As the wind picks up from behind the hunters alerting the Silver Rathios, swinging his tail breaking the boulder Saachi was hiding behind. The Silver Rathios showed his sharp fangs at her as he walked closer to Saachi making her step back as she watched him. All her body was screaming was to run but she knew if she did it would chase her down.
She kept backing up to see her mentor was gone from the other boulder, the Silver Rathios charged at her to take off into the air, landing down on Saachi pinning her down nearly getting clawed in the stomach. Saachi grabbed her teeth as one of the Silver Rathios claws dug into the wound from the Rathin's claw made, as she could feel a stronger poison entering her body, her mentor whacks his leg with her glave leaving a glowing mark on it. She let her kinsect fly off her arm and fly straight at the glowing mark attacking it. Her mentor slashes his legs again making him let Saachi go to get to her feet, stumbles as she clamps her side which is in more pain now. Her mentor recalled the kinsect by twirling her glave to her gave her the white dust it harvests which her move faster as she held her glave back charge for a power shot, swinging her glave she lunch the power shot into the side of his head forcing him to take a few steps away from the hunters just to get a bit from the kinsect. Below his eye started to bleed, blood ran down the side of his face as he looked at her.
He charges at her mentor as she uses her glave to lunch herself straight up over the Silver Rathios landing on the other side of him. She used her glave again recalling the kinsect for the red dust to make her attack even stronger. She launches herself into the air again as the Silver Rathios charge at her, as he was under her she spinning down on him striking the Silver Rathios in the back, breaking his spine ridge. As it started to fall she grabbed onto some smaller ridges that ran on both sides of the spin's ridge held on until he got to his feet and got into the air slimming down nearly throwing her from it. Feeling the hunter on his back still, he jumps up to land again just to throw his upper body in the air shaking side to side trying to get her off. She just had enough energy to hold on as it came to a stop a little for him to catch his breath from throwing his weight trying to get her mentor off his back will Saachi ran in slicing into his legs, he let out a roar making Saachi cover her ears will her mentor held on covering her ears by tucking her head in between her shoulders until he was done roaring.
He notices the hunter on the ground was still covering her ears from the loud ringing, he swung his tail to get her near the base of his tail as she was sent flying back to roll across the ground to smoke a large rock to stop her. The Silver Rathios charged at Saachi as she laid on the ground trying to pull herself up, he came to a halt making Saachi's mentor flying off rolling to her feet to come to a sliding stop in between them facing the Silver Rathios with her glaive at the ready. As the Silver Rathios started his attack again by charging at Saachi's mentor she leaps up by using her glaive over the Silver Rathios. Spinning down onto Silver Rathios head barely making a scratch on it, he stopped his charge by shaking his head as he felt the blade barely cut it. He got himself into the air with his powerful wings building up a large fireball firing it off at the hunters.
Saashi's mentor ran up to Saachi pulling her to her feet to push her out of the way as the fireball came at them. Saachi's could feel the heat on her back as the fireball exploded out farther than the Rathia's will her mentor lunch herself up just high enough to miss the fire explode before she could land on the ground the Silver Rathios came swooping in grabbing her mentor with his poisoned claws digging into her chest. He flew up into the sky as throwing her to the ground letting her body hit the ground so hard that she bounced just to have her body land lifeless. Saachi ran over to her mentor was laying as the Silver Rathios land onto her trying to rip apart the deceased hunter, unsheathing her sword to thrust it into some weak scale that lining the side of his face forcing him to whip his head up making her sword slice down his right eye down to his lower jaw. Her sword came out before it could slice through his lower jaw which he steps back using his wings to get more space between them before letting a roar out to take off as the hunter still covers her ears. Saachi has seen the Silver Rathios swooping in getting one of its poison claws into her back along the length of her spine to disappear in the distance, she turns her force to her lifeless mentor running straight to her side. "Master," shaking her body to see her not move, she placed her head to her dead mentor's as tears ran down her cheeks to continue to say "I'm sorry, mom." The poison was already taking its toll on her body as she claps rate next to her thinking that she was going to die here.
