Ash: *Anger* HE WOULDN'T DARE LAY HIS FINGERS ON ROSIE AND CHARLIE!
Ash's anger was understandable, Ish was also fuming but he knew that Ash was more to a boil with the threat. Freedom was trying his best to calm her down, key word here try.
Ange: Poison, is Ash sick?
Arron: She was infected with a poison during Endgame's reign, so far it hasn't accelerated to fatal but after hearing this threat...
Ash: RZ! Is it all right if my siblings stay here until Barron leaves them alone!
RZ: Permission granted, Ish, we would also like you to stay vigilant and wary...if they are indeed targeting you as well..
Ish nodded in agreement.
Alex: We need to be very careful if he decides to go after any of us too.
Ange: You-You don't think he will try and break into our homes r-right...
Joseph: Impossible.
Ange was confused prompting the others to explain.
Troy: Around the HOK and Canton is a shield called the safe zone, with it no bad guys can break in and ravage the area and civilians.
Ange: Interesting...is there a way we can make one for each city?
Tua: That would make the core energy a bit weak, if we made one for each city the one here would be weakened.
Samuel: More shields, less protection at the main base.
Ange nodded, Joseph watching her intently.
RZ: That being said...i, do have a suggestion...but, i wish to hear your voice; Ish, Ash, Joseph, Kristie.
The four turned to their leader.
RZ: With Barron targeting you, would you mind...not dating until he is defeated.
Kristie: Like a break?
Ish: Why do you ask this?
Ange: Mavrin might use your love to fuel your rage, a break between the dates can lower Mavrin and Barron focus on your loved ones.
Joseph: How do you-
Ange: That's how my parents avoided being caught in love, why do you think it took my papa two years to pop the question.
The four looked at eachother, then nodded.
Ish: I think...if this is to protect eachother, we can take a break.
Ash: I agree...though once this is done you *to Ish* are mine.
Ish smiled at that.
Joseph: If it means Barron doesn't get Kristie or her family, i would do anything even if it means *air quotes* 'breaking up'. I'll make it up to you once Barron is defeated.
Kristie: Thank you.
RZ: Thank you all, i promise this won't be forever.
Meanwhile...
Barron was testing out the vessel as Mavrin and the three Anticorians watched.
Stellaria: I must say this is quite a craft.
Mavrin: Years of hard work and competitions. Master, how do you feel of this?
Barron: Works like a charm. Speaking of how things are working, Mavrin, how is the special mission I gave you on research?
Mavrin: Very well, I have found the perfect connection for Ash's poison to become fatal..not to mention made the Guardians go on a wild goose chase with the red herring i gave them.
Angkoro: What is your plan to increase it?
Barron: Patient's my friend patients...all will be answered in time. For now...heh, let us wait.
Meanwhile...
Ange was outside the simulation as Marty walked out, spotting her.
Marty: Oh hey Ange, is everything alright?
Ange shyly fiddle her feet.
Ange:...Does Joseph not trust me?
Marty: What?!
Ange: Joseph, does not he not trust me?
Marty immediately went to her level, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Marty: No it's not that...he doesn't trust himself.
Ange: Himself? Why?
Marty: Barron was his apprentice, so it affected him the most when he betrayed us and killed the others.
Ange: Does he have a last name?
Marty shoke his head.
Marty: Never told us, only that he was Clara's brother.
?: *Raspy* Still shaken that he would kill his own flesh and blood.
They turned to see Sonar limping towards them, Ange paling at the injuries.
Sonar: *Raspy* Was told what had happened, is Lasso alright?
Marty: He is, just need's to rest and heal up..
Ange looked at Sonar, who in turn looked at her...there was a silence between them and Marty was about to answer when-
Ange: Clara doesn't blame you.
They froze...
Sonar: *Raspy* S-She-she doesn't...but-i-
Ange: Clare says she was happy she had meet you, she want's you to be careful around Barron. She says that she will always be with you.
Sonar felt tears prick his eyes.
Sonar: *Raspy* You...gave a perfect description of her...can-can you really see her?
Ange nodded, going down and hugging Sonar gentle.
Ange: Clara says she loves you.
Sonar allowed his tears to fall as he hugged back.
Sonar: *Raspy* Can-Can you tell her i love her to and that i miss her so much.
Ange nodded. Marty watched the scene, wondering if maybe he ability to speak to the fallen can help them in the future.
