Chapter 9
Deal
Harry's point of view.
"Get off me." I growl in dismissal, shoving him harshly onto the floor next to me. He blushes shyly while holding his head down with his hands sitting on his thighs.
"I-I'm sorry. This is my first day here." He says with purity radiating from him, I look at him wanting to say something nasty, but nothing came to mind, so I just bite my lip trying to keep my mouth shut.
Ms. Ruby holds a handout to the boy in which he grabs hold of tightly as she pulls him up from the ground.
When she goes to lend a hand to me, I push up from the ground quickly with one hand just to bypass. She frowns to this but doesn't make any sudden comments.
The boy tilts his head at me in questioning, but I reply with a loud snarl, so he ends up squealing in fright now looking away quickly with pink cheeks.
I smirk secretly, but Ms. Ruby interrupts my entertainment with the cross of her arms and a coughing sound.
"Alright boys, that's enough." She says with strictness which causes me to roll my eyes and the boy to look at her obediently.
"Now, Harry. This is Xavier. He is a part of the one condition I want from you." She says with no signs of joking in her tone, which causes me to dread what she wants from me.
"And that condition would be?" I ask rudely with my impatience growing, she ignores my rudeness now choosing to continue.
"You have to show him around the Chisholm and help him with his homework for the first few weeks of being here since you are my number one A grade student." She purrs with praise which I struggle to ignore since I love it when I get praised.
I lean against the wall now looking this Xavier kid up and down in curiosity.
He has a very smooth, slim body shape with short messy blonde coloured hair that looks very well taken care of.
His eyes are brown and he's around the same height as me.
He's wearing black jeans with a slender white top that shows all the curves around his hips perfectly.
Around his neck is a steel metal arrow on a black leather chain.
I subconsciously lick my lips at the sight, but when he stops talking with the teacher to look at me, I give him a cold glare which he tilts his head to in confusion.
"Have we got a deal?" Ms. Ruby asks in question since I never replied to her. I look one last time at Xavier now glancing at Ms. Ruby who's sitting in her chair with her blue eyes focused on me for an answer.
I let out an exhilarated breath now saying the words, "We have a deal.."
