The Mission's Speed Bump
Tank and Morelli were had just taking off the paint's lid, when the phone rang.
"Not mine," Morelli said out loud.
"Yes,"
"Pierre, I would like you, your number one man and Stephanie over at the mansion tomorrow night at seven pm be on time." Todd said and then hung up.
"What" Morelli asked.
Tank, picked up his other phone, "Ranger, Todd just called Me, my right-hand man and Stephanie are to go to the mansion tomorrow night at seven don't be late." Tank told him.
"Okay you know the routine, and you might as well get Morelli some new clothes too. He is supposed to be your right-hand man." Ranger hung up.
"Let me guess, we get to go shopping" Stephanie said with a wide grin on her face.
"Yep, let's go." Tank told them.
They all pilled up into Tank's SUV and the three of them went to an Evening Wear Shop.
They pulled into the back lot of The Classic Evening Wear Shop.
"Let's go." Tank said. He opened the door for Stephanie, and she jumped out. Morelli jumped out the back door of the SUV.
"Hello, Jake" Tank said as the three of them entered the small shop.
"Pierre, been awhile and hello Miss. Stephanie and who is this." Jake asked.
"This is Joseph, I need even wear for the both them. He gets a 1 style under mine." Pierre told him.
"Yes, sir right this way. I have the perfect suit for you Joseph." Jake told him.
About ten minutes later, "Fuck, look at that price." Morelli yelled.
Pierre started to laugh.
"Come out Joseph, and let's see how well you clean up." Pierre yelled.
Joseph, came out in Brown slacks, and black button up shirt, with a brown jacket.
"Okay you don't clean up that bad" Pierre told him.
"Little one how you doing?"
"I love this mission" she said as she came out in a black silk dress, with a slip up the side to the knee and black heels.
"You look very hot Babe." Morelli, and Pierre turned to see Ranger.
"Tank, you have already worn your black tux two times at Robbins party. Thomas is going to kill me Jake get Tank a new white tux, because Stephanie is in that black dress." Ranger told him.
"Your right Thomas is going to kill you boss." Tank said and he followed Jake to the dressing room.
"Who is Thomas?" Morelli asked Ranger.
Rangeman's accountant." Ranger told Morelli.
"Och" Morelli said.
A few minutes later, Tank came out in a White two tail tux.
"My husband is turning me on?" Stephanie told him as she stepped up and wrapped her arms around him.
"Here you go Jake." Ranger handed over the Rangeman credit card. "Thomas is going to kill you." Jake said out loud.
"Yup he is" Ranger said as his head was lowered into his chest.
"Okay told is let's see, 650.00 for Joseph's suit. 800.00 for Pierre's suit and 500.00 for Stephanie's dress and another 100.00 for her heels.
"Total is 2,050.00" Jake rang the card through approved.
"Get out of those outfits, and do not touch them until tomorrow afternoon ladies and gentleman" Ranger took the credit card and walked out of the shop.
"Well, I am not letting anything happen to this suit." Morelli said as he took the garment bag over his shoulder.
They all got back to Tank's house. "650.00 for a freaking suit." Morelli was shaking his head in shock.
"No, Morelli not all of my missions are like this." Tank said out loud.
"Yeah, I got another new dress and heels." Stephanie was twirling around in circles.
"You are going to get dizzy." Morelli told her.
"Damn I hate it when you are right." Stephanie pulled up a chair and sat down.
"You are enjoying this" Morelli told Stephanie.
"Just the shopping part" she told him.
"Okay here is the game plan" Ranger told everyone.
All three turned around and saw Ranger standing behind them.
"Okay here is what is going to happen. Morelli will be here at 5:30 pm to get into that suit. Tank you know your routine as well as you Babe. Let's see if we can actually make some head way tonight, because this mission is really starting to get me mad." Ranger told everyone then got in his his jet black SUV and drove away.
"Okay see you tomorrow boss," Morelli walked out the front door, and drove away.
"I hope we can make some head way in this, tomorrow night because Morelli has never seen Ranger Mad." Stephanie told Tank.
"Yeah, exactly." Tank agreed with her.
