A Little Too Much Fun

Hello my Fanfiction lovers! I'm back with chapter 8! I'm really excited about this one, because this is of course Rafael's biggest night! It's the last night before they return to Rio the next day! So expect a lot of parting in this chapter! Hope you enjoy! P.S What you're about to read…will make a major impact on my future sequel to my previous story!

Jameson downed another cup of beer as he was talking to Nico about his little moment with Violet. Although the yellow canary male was still feeling very down about it.

"Come on buddy! It's not the end of the world is it? There are plenty of girls out there for you!" The owl beamed as he clinked his glass with Nico.

"Yeah I suppose you're right. But…I think I might be…you know?"

"In love with her?"

"I don't think of it as that! But I do have all these sudden feelings for her!" Nico responded sadly while finishing his beverage.

Jameson poured himself another drink and felt a little woozy all of a sudden. "Woah! Nearly fell over there!"

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I don't normally drink to be completely honest! But I figured since you were my first customers in like a month I thought I'd have a few!"

Nico smiled at the owl and gave him a fist bump. "Why don't you come with us? To Rio? You can open up your own bar there? Meet some ladies? You'll get tonnes of business!"

"That's very generous of you to offer my friend! Maybe one day I'll consider doing that. I'm pretty content with the way things are so far!"

As soon as he finished saying this, Kipo flew down the stairs from the upstairs seating area with a shocked expression. "Erm…Jameson? I think I might have broken one of your lights?"

"How the bloody hell did you manage that?" Jameson glared at him with a look of surprise and slight irritation.

"Well I flew up there to check on Violet? Then I tripped over some black little branch thingy and smacked my head on a glass thingy!"

"Damn! I told that stupid pigeon Glenn to remove that wire last week! When he gets back from his vacation in Uruguay he is so fired!" Jameson angrily whispered to himself before running up the stairs to deal with the problem.

Rafael couldn't stop staring outside because he was so worried about his best friend. He barely moved from the entrance of the tavern. He didn't even notice the red crested cardinal approaching him.

"Yo big nose!" The toucan turned around to see Pedro holding what looked like a glass of whiskey in each wing. "Get this down your neck!"

"Thanks Pedro! He should be here by now!"

"Oh don't worry bro! He will be here any min…There he is!" Pedro beamed as he pointed his wing towards a blue spec in the distance. Followed by three other specs. "Martin, Alice and Chloe have come back with them!"

"Oh thank Christ The Redeemer!" The toucan sighed in relief as Blu landed just in front of him, with the others landing beside him. "What took you guys so long?"

"Don't worry Rafi! I'll tell you what happened on the flight home tomorrow! For now though…let's party like we've never partied before!" Blu responded happily as he flew into the tavern. "Coming ladies?"

Alice and Chloe followed him in and giggled to themselves as they entered the bar. Rafael grabbed Martin's wing before he entered.

"Thanks again for going after him to see if he was ok! I really appreciate it!" Rafael smiled at him while patting his back. Martin smiled in response and patted him on the back in response.

"No problem friend! Now you heard the man! Let's party!"

"HELL YEAH!" Rafael and Pedro simultaneously shouted while fist bumping each other in a crazy fashion.

Blu flew up to the bar and grabbed himself a beer from the tap behind the bar. Jameson noticed this as he was coming downstairs and placed his wings on his hips.

"Oh sure? Why don't you come in and use my own beer tap to pour yourself a drink!" The owl scolded him in annoyance while approaching the blue macaw male.

"Oh I'm sorry! I d-d-didn't meant to upset you!" Blu stuttered as he raised his wings up in defence at him.

The owl started chuckling and flew behind the bar. "Oh relax blue boy! Don't crap yourself! I was only joking around!" Jameson stood up on top of the bar counter and made an announcement to everyone. "Guys and girls! For their last night here in Minnesota! Let's get this party started!"

"WOOOHOOO!" Everyone cheered all at once before Jameson turned on the jukebox and picked a good song to play in the background.

(Don't Stop Me Now – Queen Starts Playing)

"OH I LOVE THIS SONG! Dance with me Blu?" Alice asked the blue macaw male with a friendly smile. She extended her wing for him to take and he happily accepted.

"Sure! Why not?" He took her wing and spun her around as they hit the dance floor that was small if you were a human but big enough for birds.

Rafael and Jameson filled a lot of cups with whiskey, beer and for the geese red wine! They were going all out for this party.

Chloe felt a bit lonely on the dance floor and asked Jameson if he'd dance with her. "How about it owl? Up for the challenge?"

"Challenge accepted! You're on!" He chirped happily as he took her wing and spun her around on the dance floor as well.

Rafael started passing the cups of alcohol around to everyone in the tavern and he drank a few himself to get him in the mood to dance. He noticed one small detail in the process. Nico still didn't feel like himself.

"Nico? What's wrong buddy?" Rafael stopped his running around and sat on the stool next to his canary friend.

"Oh it's Violet! I think Jameson is right Rafi. I think I'm in love with her!"

"So? Why aren't you going for it?"

"I've already been through this with both Pedro and Jameson! She lives here and we live there! It will be…bloody hard!" The yellow canary took a cup of whiskey and chugged the whole thing in one.

Rafael looked onto the dance floor and saw that Blu and Alice were slow dancing to the last part of the song. He also saw Jameson happily dancing with Chloe. Pedro was in the corner stuffing his beak with salted nuts. Kipo was picking a song on the jukebox.

"Hold on one second Nico! I've got an idea up my wing!" The toucan smiled evilly and flew over to Kipo to put a request in for a song. "Kipo! Choose that one!"

"Are you sure?" The spoonbill arched a curious eyebrow, before noticing Rafael giving him a pleading face. "It's your party bro!"

(Can You Feel The Love Tonight – Elton John Starts Playing)

As the song began, Blu and Alice swayed to the music softly while the female goose laid her head on his chest.

"You're a really good dancer Blu." Alice softly spoke in a sweet tone as she relaxed in Blu's wings.

"You're not so bad yourself Alice." Blu replied while smiling down at her.

Jameson returned to the bar to pour more drinks and Chloe asked Pedro to dance with her. "You up for it?"

"Let's do it hot wing!" Pedro winked at her and took her wing. She slow danced with Pedro as the music built up.

Violet walked down the stairs and saw Nico sitting by himself at the bar. She took a deep breath and walked over to him slowly but surely.

"Nico?"

"Oh…hey." Nico replied in a glum and depressed voice as he swigged another drink.

"Look you didn't give me enough chance to explain back there…"

"Oh I heard what you said alright! Look, it's fine! You live here and I live there! Don't let me ruin your life!" Nico got up from his seat and was about to walk away.

Violet narrowed her eyes at him, grabbed his wing, and pulled him into a deep passionate kiss.

It only lasted a few seconds, but to Nico it felt like a whole eternity. They slowly broke from the kiss and she looked at him with so much warmth and bliss. However he was a little taken by surprise at this point.

"Just because I live in Minnesota, and you live in Rio it doesn't meant that I can't have feelings for you!"

"You have feelings for me?" The male canary placed a wing on his heart and started breathing slightly quicker than normal.

"Yes! I'm sorry if it feels so soon! I just…I just really like you!"

"I like you too!" Nico softly spoke as he grabbed her wings and lead her to the dance floor. Unfortunately for them the song had just ended, but Rafael had the perfect idea.

"Kipo! Play us a little Flo Rider will you?" The toucan beamed as the male spoonbill scrolled through the songs and found the perfect song. "Hit it!"

(Low – Flo Rider Starts Playing)

Immediately Nico spun Violet around and started doing samba dancing with her. She giggled at how cute he was and danced in perfect synchronisation with him.

"I've got the power of love in my veins!" Rafael thought to himself as he went to the bar to get a few more drinks in him.

Alice giggled at the way Blu kept dipping her and spinning her around. She was having a wonderful evening.

"You know what Blu? I need to rest my talons for a bit. Shall we go to the bar?" The female goose asked him pretty loudly as the song went on.

"Yeah, I'm feeling quite tired too. Let's get a few drinks in us!"

"Yeah, then you can put something in me." Alice whispered to herself, knowing that Blu couldn't hear her. She definitely started feeling something for him…uh oh!

Blu escorted Alice over to the bar and sat down on the stool next to her. Jameson came over and gave Blu a glass of whiskey and for Alice a glass of red wine.

"Enjoy g-guys, hiccup! I might be a little drunk!" The owl spoke to Blu as he slid the two drinks over to them.

"It's alright Jameson! We are all planning on getting smashed tonight!" The blue macaw male responded as he clinked glasses with Alice and the two of them downed their drinks.

Kipo stood near the jukebox staring out into the group of birds who weeds dancing and having a wonderful time. That was until he noticed Martin just sitting by himself and reading a magazine.

"You alright there Martin? Don't want to join in with the dancing?"

The green winged macaw looked up at him with a teary face. "Nobody wants to dance with me! Plus I'm a terrible dancer!"

"Come on dude! I'm a bad dancer too, so we can badly dance together!" Kipo smiles at him as he pulled Martin to his feet.

The green winged macaw joined him on the dance floor and the both of them were dancing very strangely.

Blu and Rafael smiled at their friends and downed another beverage. This time the alcohol was really getting to them.

"H-H-Hey Blu! You kn…hiccup…know what? You're my bessssst friend in all of the world!" Rafael slurred while talking because he was just as drunk as Blu.

"Y-Y-You know what Rafi? Y-Y-You're my besssst friend t-too!"

"You g-g-gonna bang Alice tonight?!"

Blu blushed and covered his beak in embarrassment as Alice just started giggling in a seductive way.

"I d-don't know Rafi!" Blu responded and leaned in closer to him so only he could hear his whisper. "She is hot! But I wanna save myself for a macaw you know? You know what I mean?"

"Screw that pal! You got to get in there and get yourself some tail! Plus if I weren't marrying Eva…I definitely would do her!"

"R…hiccup…Really?"

"Ohhhh yeah!" Rafael finished another shot of whiskey and put his right wing on the back of Blu's head and his left wing on the back of Alice's head. "Just close your eyes and get to it!"

Alice smiled at Blu in a seductive manner, licking her beak and batting her eyelashes. Blu smile in return and narrowed his eyes in a playful way.

Soon without even thinking about it, Alice and Blu locked beaks in a passionate kiss. Then instead of parting to take a breath, they got more playful and couldn't keep their wings off each other.

Rafael smiles and leaned back on his stool while finishing what looked like his tenth drink. He fell off the back of his stool and Jameson just started pointing and laughing at him.

Violet looked over to Blu and Alice and decided to kiss Nico again. So without thinking it over, she pulled Nico into a deep kiss as well!

Pedro saw what the others were doing, and then turned to notice Chloe trying to kiss him on the beak. Only this time, he pushed her away. "Sorry hot wing! I'm not that kind of guy!"

Chloe just shrugged her shoulders and stumbled over to the bar to grab another drink.

Pedro crossed his wings and smirked as he saw Nico getting busy with Violet. Then Blu was getting a little too busy with Alice. He only had one thought on his mind.

"Dude! I really love this awesome party!"

8 Hours Later

The tavern was completely trashed! There were empty cups and broken glasses everywhere.

The bar stools were either broken or covered in the stench of lager.

The juke box had been tipped over and the glass on the screen had smashed to pieces. Plus not everyone was in the room at this moment.

"Ugggh! My head!" A faint voice was heard from behind the bar. Jameson slowly lifted his head up and rose to his feet. He scanned the tavern with his eyes half closed. He was absolutely flabbergasted. "Man! That was one hell of a party!"

"You said it bro!" Another voice was heard from behind the bar, and it turned out to be Rafael. "I'm going to remember this day for a very long time! You said you don't drink?"

"I don't drink that often no. But since you guys offered and I enjoyed your company I thought you guys were great!"

Jameson finished talking for a second as he turned around to the garbage can and started vomiting. "Ahhhhk! That did not settle down well!"

"Hey! Guys? That was an awesome party!" The two of them spun around to see Kipo and Martin approaching them.

"Hey! Glad you guys are alright. Did you two…"

"What? No! I found Kipo head first in a barrel of salted nuts. So I picked him up after a few failed attempts and sat him up straight!" Martin responded rather irritated that Jameson asked if the two of them hooked up.

"Woah, I was only joking! Besides, aren't we missing Blu, Nico, Violet, Alice and Chloe?" Jameson realised that there were a few birds missing from their group.

"Alright, let's split up and try and find them! I'm sure they haven't gone that far!" Rafael beamed as the others nodded their heads and split up to find their friends.

The thing is…will they find them in time before their flight home? And will there be any surprises waiting for them?

That is the end of chapter 8 my fanfic brothers and sisters! Now, the reason why I left it on another cliffhanger is because I'm building up a bit of tension before the last couple of chapters! Anyway…hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you all soon for chapter 8! See you all soon!
