After finding out about the death of Phil Coulson, Fury gathered Sora, Cap and Tony to the briefing room. Kairi later joined while Natasha was helping Barton. Kairi sits with Sora in comfort. Tony and Cap were numb on the table mourning the loss of their colleague. Fury was holding a bunch of cards that had Captain America on it.
"These were in Phil Coulson's jacket," Fury started. "I guess he never did get you to sign them." He tossed the cards to the table. Steve picks them up, stained with blood.
"We're dead in the air up here. Our communications, the location of the Cube, Banner, Thor … I've got nothing for you. Lost my one good eye." Sora looked up at Fury as he continued. "Maybe I had that coming. "Yes, we were going to build an arsenal with the Tesseract. I never put all my chips on that number though, because I was playing something even riskier. There was an idea, Stark know this, called the Avenger Initiative. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if they could become something more. To see if they could work together when we needed them to – to fight the battles that we never could. Phil Coulson died still believing in that idea... In heroes." Tony said nothing. Instead he walks off the room. Cap just stared at the cards for a moment then looks at Sora and Kairi who were holding hands in comfort.
Meanwhile far out at a meadow, Thor was walking around and found Mjonir. He At another location, Bruce Wakes up back to normal. He looks around and sees he is in a pile of rubble and looks up at the open ceiling he crashed in. and he was completely naked. He examined his location to see that he's at an old warehouse.
"How did I end up here?" He asked.
"You fell right out of the sky." Someone told him. He looks around to see a security guard standing.
"Did I hurt anybody?" Bruce asked.
"There was nobody to hurt." The guard told him. "You did scare the hell out of some pigeons though."He replied with chuckle.
"Lucky..." Banner sighed with relief.
"Or just good aim. You were awake when you fell." The guard said to him. Bruce's eyes widen.
"You saw?"
"The whole thing, right through the ceiling. Big and green and buck ass nude. Here. Didn't think those would fit until you shrunk down to a regular size feller." He throws Bruce a pair of pants. Bruce smiled at the old guard.
"Thanks."
"Are you an alien?" The guard asked. Bruce looked up in confusion.
"What?"
"From outer space, an alien?"He asked more specifict.
"No..."Banner replied shortly as he stood up.
Later on the new awakened Barton is seen being tied to a chair. Natasha is relieved to see that her best friend is out of Loki's control.
"Clint, you're gonna be alright." Natasha said trying to calm him down
"You know that? Is that what you know?" Clint asked
"We don't have that long, it's gonna take time." Natasha said
"I don't understand. Have you ever had someone take your brain and play? Pull you out and send something else in? Do you know what it's like to be unmade?"
"You know that I do." Natasha replied with a frown.
"Why am I back? How did you get him out?" Clint asked
"Cognitive recalibration. I hit you really hard in the head." Natasha replied
"Thanks" Natasha releases the restraints. "Tasha, how many agents?'' Clint asked. Natasha shook her head.
"Don't. Don't do this to yourself, Clint. It's Loki. Those Heartless are like nothing we ever trained for." She told him.
"He got away?" Clint asked.
"Yeah... I supposed you know where?" Natasha asked. Clint shook his head.
"I didn't need to know. I didn't ask." Natasha sighed.
"We gotta stop him." She replied.
"Yeah? Who's We?" He asked curiously.
"Those who are left." She replies with shrug. Natasha sits next to her partner and friend.
"Well, if I put an arrow in Loki's eye socket, I'd sleep better I suppose." Clint said. Natasha smiled.
"Now you sound like you."
"But you don't. You're a spy, not a soldier. Now you want to wade into a war. Why? What did Loki do to you?" Clint asked
"He didn't, I just..." Natasha said
"Natasha." Clint said
"I've been compromised. I got red in my ledger. I'd like to wipe it out." Natasha said.
Tony walks into the Helicarrier detention center. He is grieving for their falling member. He never noticed Cap, Sora and Kairi walking in.
"Was he married?" Asked Cap. Tony looks over to him and frowned.
"No. There was a uh...cellist, I think." He told.
"I'm sorry." Cap replied. "He seem like a good man."
"Yeah... he seemed like he had a good heart."
"He was an idiot."
"Why?" Kairi asked. "For believing?"
"No... for taking Loki alone." Tony replied.
"Sometimes there isn't a way out, Tony." Cap told him.
"Right." Tony said while rolling his eyes out. "I heard that before."
Is this the first time you lost a solider?" Cap asked.
"We are not soliders!" Tony remarked. Cap crossed his arms.
"Is this the first time you lost a solider?" He asked. Tony turned to Cap angrily.
"We are not soliders. I'm not marching to Fury's life."
"Neither am I, Tony but he's got the same blood on his hand that Loki does. But right now we gotta put this all of this behind us and get this done."
"Cap is right, Tony." Sora said. "Loki and Xigbar need a power source to open Kingdom Hearts."
"Right and Loki made it personal."
"But that's not the point." Sora said.
"It is, Sora. This is Loki and Xigbar's point. They both want to hit us right where we live. Why?" Cap's eyes widen.
"To tear us apart so that they can control Sora." Sora turned to him in surprised.
"Exactly, Rogers. But he knows he has to take us out to win, right? That's what he wants. He wants to beat us and he wants to be seen doing it. He wants an audience."
"Right. Just like in Stuttgard." Cap muttered.
"Yeah, that's just previews, this is…this opening night. And Loki, he's a full-tail diva. He wants flowers, he wants parades, he wants a monument built to the skies with his name plastered…" Suddenly it hit Tony.
"Son of a bitch." He turned to Kairi.
"Kairi... you're coming with me." He said. Sora, Cap and Kairi raised their eyebrows.
"Why?" She asked. Tony smirked at her.
"Because you need a new outfit." He said. Kairi looks at her outfit then looks back at Tony.
"What's wrong with my outfit?"
"Nothing." Tony reassured. He then walks over to her and whispers to her ear. Kairi gives him a surprise look.
"Really? You trust me?" She asked in a whispered tone.
"I do." Tony said. "From what Sora told me. You're a very bright and intelligent girl. You also have a strong heart. It reminds me of someone I know. So, what do you say?" Kairi smirked at Tony and shook his hand.
"Let's show that creep who's boss." She walks over to Sora.
"I'm gonna go with Tony. He has a plan for me." Sora nodded.
"Okay, be careful." He leaned over and gave her a kiss.
"I Love you, Kairi." Kairi smiled and squeezed Sora's hand.
"I love you too, Sora."
Meanwhile Selvig works around the CMS device that has already been set- upon the rooftop of Tony's tower. Everything was going smoothly,as Arc Reactor was powering cube to it's limits. Loki and Xigbar are by the tower.
"So... all goes according to plan, Xigbar."
"Right." Xigbar agreed. "Once the tesseract opens, we will use Sora's Keyblade to open Kingdom Hearts and take over it."
"Speaking of... did you find that black box the Master was obsessed with?" Thor's brother asked. Xigbar l;aughs.
"Yes, I gave it to him before I arrived here." He answered.
"Good... Once we have the stones, the master's plan will be complete.
"Right. We just need to get rid of the Super losers and make sure they stay out of our way." He stretches then he makes a corridor.
"You stay here and wait for Sora and his friends come to the party. You make sure the portal opens." He orders as he disappears. Loki smiles evilly as he looks at the CMS device near in completion.
Sora and Cap who is now wearing full uniform walks to retrieve Natasha and Clint. They both arrive at the Medical room to see Natasha there sitting there.
"Time to go." Sora said.
"Go where?" Asked Natasha.
"We'll tell you on the way." Sora said. "Can you fly one of those jets?" Clint came out of the bathroom drying his hands.
"I can." He answered. Sora looks at Natasha who nodded that Barton is now one of the good guys.
"You got a suit?" Sora Cap asked.
'"Yep." Confirmed Clint.
"Then suit up." Cap confirmed. He then picks up his shield. Clint grabbed his bow and arrows. Natasha loaded her guns and batons. Tony was fixing his Iron Man plate which powered up. He then grabs Kairi and flies off. Thor raised Mjolnir and summoned some lightning. As he did, his special armor began to appear.
Cap leads Sora, Natasha and Clint to a jet. As they walked to the ramp a guard stood up and tried to stop him.
"Hey, you guys aren't authorized to be in here."
"Son...just don't," Steve said.
Fury looks through the window of the ship, contemplating while looking at Coulson's cards.
"Sir..." agent Hill asked tentatively.
"Hm?" Fury grunted in response.
"These cards were in Coulson's locker. Not his jacket." Fury sighed then looks at the bloody cards he's holding.
"They needed the push." Was all he could say. He hears a loud noise. He looks to see Iron Man holding Kairi Flying past the window.
"We have unauthorized departure in hanger 6." a voice of the com said.
"They found them." Fury said. "Get our communications back up, whatever you have to do. I want eyes on everything."
Iron Man and Kairi flies down to Stark tower. He puts her down on the roof with Selvig noticing them.
"J.A.R.V.I.S., is the new suit ready?" Tony asked in a whispering tone.
"I just finished the plasma shots in it." J.A.R.V.I.S told him. Tony explained. Tony smiled then turns to Kairi.
"Listen, Kairi. When I give the order, you come out with the suit, I'll let you know when to strike." Kairi nodded.
"Got it." She said. Inside the suit, Tony grabs her wrists then puts bracelets on them. She nods then walks inside. She avoids Loki's eye detection. She reaches the closet then pushes the button combination Tony gave her. Once the door open, Kairi's eyes widen.
"Whoa... he wasn't kidding. This suit looks amazing." It was a silver Iron Man costume. It was similar to Tony's only it looked smaller and the color was white and gray instead of red.
Meanwhile, Tony flies up to Selvig who is preparing for the device that is holding the tesseract.
"Shut is down Dr. Selvig," Tony ordered. Selvig looked up at Tony and laughed.
"It's too late!" Selvig yelled at Tony, "It can't stop now. He wants to show us something!...A new universe."
"Okay..." Tony deadpanned as he aimed his power beam at the machine and fired, but the impact of the force pushed both him and Selvig away, unconscious. Down below, citizens of New York look up at Stark Twer. Iron Man stares in disbelief at the CMS...unharmed.
"The barrier is pure energy. It's Unreachable." J.A.R.V.I.S. told Tony.
"Yeah I got that," Tony replied and looked towards his tower and saw Loki's on his balcony. "Plan B."
"Sir, the mark VII is not ready for deployment," JARVIS warned.
"Then skip the spinning rims, we're on the clock," Tony ordered as he landed on the platform that has J.A.R.V.I.S. remove his armor and walked into the penthouse. Loki was walking in as well with a snidely look.
"Please tell me you're not gonna appeal to my humanity. And where's the Princess?" He asked with a smirk.
"Actually I'm planning on threatening you. And as for Kairi... she's doing a musical right. Considering she's from the Disney universe."
"You should have left your armor on." Loki said.
"Yeah...it's seen a bit of mileage. And you've got the...uh, glow stick of destiny. Would you like a drink?" Tony asked while walking to his bar. Loki smirked.
"Stalling me won't change anything," Loki said with an amused smile.
"No no no, threatening. No drink, you sure? I'm having one," Tony said as he picked up a glass and filled it with some liquor. Loki turned to glance at the window.
"The Chitauri and the Heartless are coming. Nothing will change that. What have I to fear?"
"The Avengers." Tony answered. Loki looked confused by that so Tony Shrugged. "Oh, and a Keyblade wielder and Princess of Heart. They're part of our team."
"Oh Yes..." Loki nodded. "I met them. That boy has some kind of power."
"He does." Tony agreed. "He's stopped an evil witch. He beat an Evil Organization that your buddy was once apart of, so let's do a headcount. Him, his girlfriend, Your brother the demigod, a super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend." Tony said while putting on a pair of homing bracelets. "A man with anger issues and you managed to piss off everyone of them."
"That was the plan." Loki retorted.
"Well it's not a great plan." Tony repiled as he took a drink from his cup. "When they come, and they will. They'll come for you." Loki frowned because he saw it as a threat.
"I have a army." He stated.
"We have a Hulk." Tony encountered.
"I thought the beast had wandered off..."
"You're missing the point! There's no throne, there is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes and maybe it's too much for us but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the Earth, you can be damned well sure we'll avenge it." He finished then he takes a drink.
"How will your friends have time for me, when they're so busy fighting you?" Loki asked then he tapped Tony with his scepter, however they both heard a clicking sound which confuses the God of Mischief. He tried again but the same result happened.
"That usually works." He said.
"Well, performance issues is not uncommon. One out of five." Tony rambled before Loki grabs him by the neck and tossed him towards the window.
"J.A.R.V.I.S., anytime now." Tony begged as he stands up but Loki grabbed his neck again.
"You will all fall before me." Loki seethed.
"Deploy! Deploy!" Tony said before Loki threw him off the window, falling towards the concrete below. Tony screamed as he free falls to the New York streets but he pulled himself into position as his latest armor arrived just in the nick of time and he flew back up.
"And there's one other person you pissed off." Tony said as he flew upwards and stopped at the window, "His name is Phil."
Loki raised his staff to attack Tony, however...
"Hey, Loki!" A voice called him. Loki turned around and gasps at who's was behind him. It was a small figure with an Iron suit like Tony's. It has the same facial plate but's it's smaller and colored silver. Before he could fire, the figure uses her plasma arm and hits Loki off of his feet, knocking him down. Tony smiled at Kairi with pride.
"Nice work, Princess." He said.
"Thanks, Tony." Replied Kairi or rather Iron Woman.
"Can you use your Keyblade?" He asks. Kairi answered him by putting her hand up and summoning her Keyblade. Tony gives her a thumbs up. Suddenly the tesseract shoots a bright blue beam towards the sky and all of a sudden, a massive army of Chitauris.
"Right... army." Tony muttered. "Kairi, we got to stop them.
"Right." Said Kairi. She was getting ready to jump then she remembered something.
"How do I fly?" Iron Man descends to the house.
"You move your feet closer together then you click then you start hovering. When you descend, fly down slowly." Kairi nodded. as she clicked her heels as rockets came out and she started hovering. Tony and Kairi went straight up towards the massive army. The Chitauri were screeching before opening fires to them. Tony started blasting them out of the sky then fires on another with air-to-air missiles. However, they can't shoot them all. Even if Kairi uses her Keyblade and blasts them with her spells, it won't be enough.
"Tony, let's go find the others. We may need their help."
"Right. Let's go." Both heroes fly towards the city. The batlle had just begun.
Wow... Kairi has a new suit. With that and the Keyblade, the Avengers have a good chance of winning. We're almost there... Can't wait. Until then, bye!
