Chapter 9

"Finally freaking week-end!" Gil said getting out of his bed. He checked his phone.

"Hey how are you? From Deema. Hey what's up? From Oona. 3 missed calls from Molly? And a message of her."

"Gil, I need to see you right now!" It said.

"Okay..." Gil answered. "What could it be? She knows? No of course not, how is that possible. Deema maybe? No, she is loyal. Better try and figure out for myself." Gil said to himself.

"Come to my house ASAP." Molly answered. Gil answered back. He did his morning routine and went to Molly.

"Hey Molls!" Gil said. Molly was standing outside on the sidewalk. She looked angry and Gil got worried.

"No please not the nicknames Gil!" Molly said.

"What's wrong?" Gil asked.

"W why? Why didn't you tell me!" Molly said.

"A About what?" Gil asked. He started to stutter a bit.

"That... you had a crush on me." And she started to blush a bit. "But after what you did, I saw your real nature, and you are no man for me! You are a jealous, violent person!" Molly shouted.

Both were silent. Gil looked down, he wasn't crying, he couldn't. He wanted to, but the jealousy persisted. Molly was crying.

"If you had told me... then I would have taken it into account. I saw you as a friend, my best friend, for years!"

"Molly, I just want you to be happy..."

"What does that mean?! If you want me to be happy then accept my choice. But jealous as you are, you won't understand!" Again there was silence. Gil looked up after a minute.

"Okay. I'll disappear from your life. Then you'll certainly be happy. And I won't frequent you at school." Gil said.

"It wasn't supposed to end like this. There were so many alternative solutions, but you picked the worst one!" Molly said. "But there is no way back." She added. The 2 hadn't anything to say anymore.

"We are done then I guess..." Gil said.

"... Maybe... In several months, or years, you'd change, then we can be, friends again." Molly said. Gil didn't care anymore.

"That's all... Adieu Molly!" He said and walked off. He could hear Molly still crying, but he didn't feel anything.
