Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Fallen Queen. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth do.
Cinder backflipped over one of the strikes Tyrian took at her head. She parried another before sending Tyrian skidding back with a blast of wind.
"Do you honestly have any tricks to try and kill me?" Cinder questioned as she spun her swords. "Because I'm getting bored, Tyrian." Cinder said before skating forward with jets of fire from her feet.
Arthas watched Cinder leap over Tyrian, blasting the thugs away with a ball of fire. She turned to face Tyrian while holding out her swords as if she was begging for Tyrian to face her. It reminded him that in her own right? Cinder was still as much a warrior when she was Salem's servant.
He hummed while Tyrian blinked and hummed before grinning and opening fire. Tyrian charged forward while Cinder easily deflected the bullets to the ground.
"You will pay in blood for helping slay our goddess!" Tyrian screeched while charging forward. "You ruined her plans for Remnant when she gave you everything!" Tyrian roared as he sprung into the air.
Cinder jetted backwards and watched Tyrian cut down one of his own men. She grinned and looked at Tyrian who screeched and turned to look over his shoulder.
"All that skill and you still haven't gotten better." Cinder said while sighing. "What was your plan? Come in, stab me, and then leave?" Cinder questioned and started to back up the stairs.
Arthas looked at the Fall Maiden. She was beginning to get cocky which made Arthas worry. He knew just how cocky his wife would get if she continued to get more overconfident in her own abilities.
Cinder blocked another strike leveled at her skull. This made Tyrian growl as he was forced backwards.
"Come on, Cin…" Arthas muttered as he leveled his weapons at the goons.
Arthas knew for a fact that his wife could be cocky. He wanted to join the battle, but to interrupt Cinder meant giving Tyrian an opening.
"You left the goddess to die in the Monstra…" Tyrian hissed to which Cinder rolled her eye at.
"Its adorable how you think I wanted a part in destroying Remnant …" Cinder pointed out as she twirled her blades in her hands.
Cinder parried another strike from Tyrian before skating backwards and forming her bow. She fired a trio of arrows at Tyrian which he deflected before Cinder slammed him into the wall with her Shadow Arm.
Tyrian growled before Cinder tossed him into the ceiling, throwing the insane Faunus up and onto the roof.
"Deal with them, I'll deal with him." Cinder ordered before she blasted herself up through the shattered glass.
The thugs decided better then to fight someone with such magic. Arthas sighed and put his weapons on his hip.
"Oy, that woman is something else." Arthas said as he looked around. He knew for a fact that his wife could handle Tyrian.
(Haven rooftop)
Cinder looked at Tyrian who was busy picking himself up. His aura glimmered a faint purple.
"I will kill you…" Tyrian hissed as Cinder landed on the roof. She brushed off her dress.
"How did you come back?" Cinder questioned as she crossed her arms. "Salem is dead, there's no point in fighting." Cinder added before sighing.
Tyrian growled and continued to strike at Cinder. She knocked aside one of her strikes before his stinger grazed her cheek. Her aura blinked a dull red. Cinder slammed her palm into Tyrian's face, throwing him across the roof.
Cinder grew tired, wondering why Tyrian was so hellbent on killing her. She didn't kill Salem; it wasn't in her power.
"Ah, ah, ah…" Tyrian stated with a grin as he looked at Cinder. "I cant reveal anything… Does he know about all those nightmares? How about that scar on your throat?" Tyrian questioned which made Cinder growl.
She threw herself at Tyrian who grinned which made her growl. She blocked one of his strikes before heating his arm.
Tyrian shrieked as Cinder's semblance burned at his arm. Cinder watched as Tyrian grinned and tried to strike at her with his tail.
Cinder tossed Tyrian over her shoulder. His aura shimmering as he tumbled towards the hole he had made.
"Touched a nerve, have I?" Tyrian questioned with a laugh as Cinder summoned a fireball in the palm of her right hand.
"This is going to hurt…." Cinder hissed as she advanced on the scorpion Faunus. "A LOT…" Cinder growled out while she slowly walked towards him.
Tyrian chuckled with amusement as he looked at the woman who continued to advance on him.
Cinder growled as she advanced on the wounded warrior.
"There's the Cinder that everyone knows." Tyrian stated before he grinned and sat up.
Then he struck Cinder with his tail which almost depleted her aura. Cinder recoiled before Tyrian went to strike again.
Cinder swept him off the roof with her left arm. He was gone by the time she looked over the edge.
