Surprise birthday parties became the go to for the class, taking care to hold the party randomly within the week of the birthday so the party subject would remain surprised. For Denki Kaminari they ended up planning the party for the day before his birthday. This year they didn't go to a camp for the summer, but instead more of their classes taking place at one of the many outdoors grounds for what ever exercise they needed to complete.

After the last class of the day, one of the only being held in the main building, Haru opened her locker to a familiar sight of a love note this time accompanied by a small bundle of lavender flowers. Taking out the note Haru scanned it for a moment before tossing it out and smelling the sweet scent of the flowers.

"That happen a lot?" Bakugo asked as she caught up to him at the front of the building.

"Jealous?" she teased smelling the flowers again.

"Maybe, I don't wanna share." He growled glaring at the flowers.

"Are you asking me out?" She sang.

"Stop that. You already know where I stand on that, the only thing standing in the way of us, is you." He pouted.

"And the fact that I'll most likely end up married to someone else." She reminded him.

"Will not! I'm going to make them want me." Bakugo yelled into the clear sky.

"You're so romantic." She teased with a fake swoon.

"Shove it." He growled back.

"Haru?" A boy stammered, looking forward to see who called her name, the boy visibly gulped when her eyes meet his. Flashing his eyes to an enraged Bakugo and back to her the boy continued. "D-did you get my note? You got the flowers." He pointed out glancing back at Bakugo who acted like the boy just offended him greatly.

"Yes, thank you for that." She answered with a smile.

"Lavender, like your eyes." The boy stated.

"Yeah, they smell wonderful." Haru responded tightly.

"I was wondering if you wanted to have lunch together sometime." Bakugo glanced at Haru.

"Sorry, but I'm not dating." She answered, the tip of her tail flicking, rubbing against Bakugo's leg on accident as it did.

"That's okay, we could just hang out." The boy pressed, Haru took a deep breath.

"She's not interested." Bakugo blurted out.

"I'm sorry but I have somewhere I need to be." Haru quickly confessed walking in front of Bakugo to step around the boy. "Thank you for the flowers though." She added with a light wave. Walking past the boy, with Haru between, Bakugo kept his bloodthirsty glare locked with the determined eyes of the boy as they left. Once past him the explosion boy quickly plucked the flowers from Haru's hands, holding the flowers before his face, turning them slowly.

"If you're going to keep gifts from strangers, then you can accept them from me." He announced handing the flowers back to her.

"You're going to get me flowers?" she questioned.

"I said I would make you happy, didn't I?" he demanded, chuckling Haru nudged her shoulder into him playfully. "So, what are your favorite?" he mumbled throwing his head back and glaring at the flowers in her hands again.

"Any that smell nice. You want to blow them up don't you?" she mused locking her eyes with his.

"I don't need you screaming at me." He confessed.

"Go ahead, but only if you're—" he didn't wait for her to finish, snatching the flowers, tossing them in the air, hitting them with a blast far too big for the job. Laughing wildly in victory as the pieces of the flowers fell around them, landing in his untamed hair. Walking into the shadow of a building Haru commented about how pretty he looked with the flowers in his hair before brushing them out for him.

Pushing her against the wall he captured her lips, holding her body tightly against his own. "I want you so fucking bad." He panted kissing down her neck. "You're driving me crazy, can't you just let me love you?"

"You know why, it's only going to hurt you." She complained weakly clinging to his uniform.

"This hurts more," he bit on her neck eliciting one of her additive moans, "you're right here, within my reach. So close but still so far from me. I hate this." He whined sliding his hand up her skirt.

"Then maybe we should stop being friends too." Straightening up he looked at her like she was crazy.

"You can't do that to me." He began to yell, getting angry. "I'm already yours, I just want you to be mine." He almost cried, one hand pulling at the collar of his shirt while the other held him up pushed against the wall behind Haru. She started to argue. "Just be mine. I'll do whatever it takes. I'll find a way to pay for your brother's school, I'll adopt the little fuck if I have to. Anything to just have you be mine."

"Katsuki." She breathed out.

"I hate watching other boys trying to court you, I hate how they talk about you. It pisses me off so much."

"I can—" she started to give some bullshit solution.

"You're being stubborn and difficult on purpose. Just tell me what I want to hear, lie to me." He pleaded resting his forehead on her shoulder.

"Even if I did lie to you, you would know." She reminded him, her voice tight with her on the verge of tears.

"I don't care, I just want to hear you say it." He said, his own voice heavy and cracking with the overwhelming feeling of defeat.

"I won't lie to you. But—" he had enough, pushing himself away from her with the wall he turned around, hands gripping into his hair before quickly pulling them down to his sides.

"JUST STOP IT!" he shouted. "I know how you feel too, you won't lie to me but you're lie to yourself?" he challenged rounding on her once more. "It's bullshit and you know it."

"You don't get to tell me how to live my life!" she screamed back, her voice breaking and tears streaming down her face.

"You have more options than you've been told about." He pointed out. "You're smart, stop pretending that this is the only path you have." For once, Haru had no response to him. Leaning back into the wall she hugged herself, sliding down the wall until she sat on the ground, knees pulled tightly into her chest, tail wrapped around her feet and face buried in her arms. Watching her, Bakugo softened, hoping he didn't go to far, only far enough to make her wake up. "I'm not going to force anything on you, but you should at least think about options other than the ones given to you by the people that want to take your freedom. You can fight for your own future and Yuki's at the same time."

"I can't do it alone." She cried out, small sobs begging to shake her shoulders.

"What did I say about being stupid?" he laughed kneeling down in front of her and pulling her into him. Wrapping her arms around him she sat in his lap, her face buried in his jacket. "I'm going to say it and you can't stop me." He said softly, his arms tightening around her. "I love you."
