Chapter 10: The Arrival Of…Rowan!
The scene opens at the Roof of the Mansion, where Pinkamena stood in the center watching the eerie storm skies. Then flapping up using her wings while carrying the Poltergust 3000, Fluttershy arrives on the scene& spots her friend.
"So, you arrived?" Pinkamena spoke from not turning around.
"Pinkamena, there you are…what are you doing here?" Fluttershy asked why her friend was there.
"Oh, just finishing up some loose ends?" Pinkamena casually spoke off in a weird motion as she held…two Chain Blades.
"Oh, you mean recovering your weapon?" Fluttershy asked in noticing what her friend had.
"That, & this…" Pinkamena slowly stated while slowly turning around with…an Evil Eye motion.
Suddenly without warning, Pinkamena swung one of her Chain Blades off that reacted like a ghostly-snake. That chain went around to wrap up Fluttershy to clamp her wings to her body & was pulled away to be swung off to dangle over the edge of the rooftop. The whole thing happened so fast that Fluttershy was behaving like a deer in the headlights until she noticed her situation & saw Pinkamen looked down to her…with an unusually weird expression.
"Look at the view?" Pinkamena stated for the mare to check out the view she's got.
"EEEEEEEK!" Fluttershy screeches up in fright, the view of where she's dangling over a spiky fence does NOT give one pleasant thoughts.
"This is fun, right?" Pinkamena smiled off in thinking this was a fun thing.
"Um, I think I seen the type of FUN Pinkie Pie performs, & something tells me, this isn't one of them?" Fluttershy meekly spoke under a nervious & worried tone about this discussion here.
"Well, I think it is? I bet'cha with your wings tied, one contact with those spiky fence, & you might just end up a ghost yourself?" Pinkamena smiled off to state in what will happen if Fluttershy gets dropped; die off or become a ghost.
"This isn't funny! Please stop joking Pinkamena, & pull me Up!" Fluttershy yelped out loudly in wanting Pinkamena to not kid around; this dark humor is too much even for a Pinkie Pie lookalike to pull off.
"Pinkamena!" Then arriving on the spot was Nyx who spoke along with Spike riding her as she flap her wings & Phobos who flew on his own wing power; only to notice what was occurring.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Spike asked off in noticing what was going on, & it was not a good thing to see.
"Oh, isn't it obvious?" Pinkamena spoke off with a straight creepy smile on the face. "I'm planning to kill this pony." She smiled off to say without batting an eye while everyone yelped in hearing such a reason.
"Woah! Blunt & Scary, that's too much even for her?" Phobos yelps in not believing he heard that which is scary to think…she was not kidding.
"Stop her!" Nyx told the baby dragons to help stop Pinkamena from hurting Fluttershy.
"Goodbye!" Pinkamena spoke off to say a brief farewell to Fluttershy.
Soon Pinkamena lets go as Fluttershy was about to drop screaming, but Nyx & the baby dragons grab the other chain end to try to pull her up.
"We got'cha Fluttershy!" Nyx stated to hold on & not let go of their friend.
"But who's got her?" Spike yelped in seeing they forgot about someone else here.
Suddenly Pinkamena comes charging to wrestle the three little ones, as they were struggling to help Fluttershy up & not get choke by their attacking pink friend. Phobos & Spike used their tails to whack Pinkamena off, but she suddenly came back up as if hardly effected by that move. Then Pinkamena was trying to force the kids to let go & let Fluttershy plunge to her doom, but they wouldn't let her, & tried to crawl on her to have the better advantage.
"Hi Children…" Pinkamena spoke off to say to the little ones before something creepier happened: Pinkamena was turning her head around to the point which bones couldn't turn & face Fluttershy with a creepy smile.
"WAAAAAAUUUAAAAghhh!" Fluttershy lets off a scream in seeing something that should definitely without a doubt, NOT….be possible to a living creature with the natural law of logic: which in term means, NO TURNING THE NECK 160 degrees!
"Sweet Celestia! She's Become The Devil!?" Phobos went wide eye in witnessing the absolute horror of what they have before them.
Then Pinkamena readjusted her neck as if hardly having crack her bone structure in the least, to stare at the frighten children.
"Boo!" Pinkamena simply said, & then….
"AAAAAAHHHH!" Phobos screamed out in terrifying terror. "Let Us Go!" The guy yelled off as he & the others tried to push the creep off pink pony away.
Then when pushing Pinkamena back, she instead was floating from the three youngsters push.
"Oh No…." Spike yelps in seeing that ain't right, Pinkamena hovering motionlessly off the ground without any magic meant…something unnatural was occurring here.
With a hard struggle against the super-unnatural pink foe, the children were struggling to keep alive & not let go of a dangling Fluttershy. But the evil turn coat of their friend was trying to interfere. Finally, Nyx, Spike & Phobos managed to pull Fluttershy off from dangling at such a height on the ground, then tried to pin Pinkamena.
"Get out of this body!" Pinkamena spoke with glowing blue eyes.
"Why Should I?" Pinkamena spoke off in rejection with glowing green eyes.
"Listen! You must deliver a force to knock the ghost out of Pinkamena!" Pinkamena spoke off to the little ones with her glowing blue eyes seen.
"Like they can hurt me?" Pinkamena remarked off the issue with glowing green eyes.
"Um, what's going?" Phobos asked in noticing the glowing eye thing & the talking in the third person.
"I think Pinkamena's been possessed by ghost? One that's evil, but the other one…seems good to help?" Nyx stated in what she thinks was happening here.
"So how do we help?" Spike asked in what can be done.
"We need to exercise an exorcism, any ideas?" Nyx asked if anyone knew what can knock a ghost out of one's body.
"Oh! Pinkie Pie told me this really funny way to knock a ghost out of someone, I'll give it a try." Phobos
"GET OUT OF OUR FRIEND'S BODY, GHOST!" Phobos yelled off against the supernatural possessing Pinkamena's body.
"SLAP!/OOOOwwwwww…." Then in a shocking surprise, Phobos slapped Pinkamena across the left cheek which caused her pain but seem to knock one blue & gray spirits out of her. "Oh, even Semi-Immortal, that's gonna leave a mark?" The mare complained in gonna be feeling that sour in the morning.
"THE POWER OF PAIN COMPELS YOU!" Phobos yelled forth as if speaking like a holy man.
"SLAP!/OWWwwww….?" Then Phobos did it again to slap Pinkamena across the other cheek, which made the mare all the more sour from two aching cheeks.
"I think that's enough?" Spike narrow his eyes at Phobos getting carried away with the slapping.
"Anymore, & she WILL be mad, Phobos?" Nyx reminded Phobos of what will happen when Pinkamena comes around to realize who slapped her.
"Eh-hehehehh…" Phobos sheepishly chuckled in thinking that would be bad for him by then.
After helping to free Fluttershy from the chains, the strange gray spirit seem to hover before the slightly unconscious Pinkamena; before taking the spiritual form of….Pinkie Pie?
"AAAaahhhh! The GHOST OF PINKIE PIE!" Phobos screamed out in seeing the ghost of their friend before them.
"Wait! That can't be, Pinkie Pie was alive earlier?" Spike stated in knowing they saw Pinkie Pie was alive when she got freed from the painting.
"And this one looks older, like Granny Smith's age?" Nyx stated in noticing the Pinkie Pie ghost was old with wrinkles, as if having died by old age.
"Who….are you?" Fluttershy asked in who this strange ghost form of an age Pinkie Pie is.
"You can call me Elder Pie, for in truth…I'm actually the elder version of Pinkie Pie from an alternate world, & also…the pony that Pinkamena originally came from before I passed away." The new ghost mare explained herself of who she is, & much more her connection to Pinkamena.
The others were silently shock, they were actually meeting a Pinkie Pie of another alternate world of which Pinkamena came from her…talk about a great shocking moment of a reunion.
"But there's no time, you have to stop him before it's too late." Elder Pie stated to change the subject to something else.
"Stop who? King Snickers? The Real King Kaboomka?" Fluttershy asked in thinking of those two ghost foes.
"No, this one used Snicker & made the false King Kaboomka to trick you all." Elder Pie shook her head in stating the serious matter here.
"My, you seem quite knowledgeable of me for a dead ghost of another world?" Then a strange blue blur spirit was seen floating around the area that surprised the others. "I suppose introductions are in order, I…am Rowan. The Mastermind behind everything you seen & experienced here." The strange spiritual force introduced himself.
"The Mastermind!?" The others responded off in who they have meant.
"Ugh…what hit me? Hugh!" Pinkamena was suddenly coming around, only to notice a lot of faces to be surprised she see. "What the…Elder Pinkie Pie…Fluttershy…everyone…a weird blurry spirit? Somebody mind telling me what I missed?" She was so completely lost here.
"You were possessed by those two ghost & the blurry guy tried to have you kill Fluttershy." Phobos pointed off the simply way to shorten an explanation.
"WHAT!" Pinkamena yelled off in hearing she almost killed her friend; unbelievable.
"It's surprising, to think…one little pony with a gizmo, managed to stop my progress? Really, no one saw that coming?" Rowan stated off in having seen how one pony like Fluttershy, tried to stop the progress of his none ever expected.
"Well why don't you show us what you look like?" Nyx asked off in seeing this guy was not revealing what he was that they can't keep his image in mind.
"He's a Parasite-Type Ghost, he merges with other ghost & makes them think of the decisions to his accordance." Elder Pie explained the case of knowing what kind of ghost Rowan is.
"Then that explains things? Snicker is usually a bumbling sidekick to King Kaboomka?" Spike pondered off in realizing that it was Rowan that called the shots, not Snicker of all ghost.
"So this guy used Snickers & a fake King Kaboomka look, why?" Phobos asked off in why Rowan did all of this.
"Why…to bring about the dawn of a new ghostly age. Where ghost….walk the world of living, & the living…become the dead." Rowan announced the coming of where ghost, shall rule over the living. "I almost won if King Kaboomka did not defeat me & banished me into the abyss called; The Dark." Rowan explained froth of where he was banished to by the King Of All Ghost.
"Then, how did you get out?" Fluttershy asked off in being curious about the topic.
"A powerful enemy released me, said I can rule if I get ride of Equestria's new heroes…the Mane Six." Rowan stated off to mention which caught the gang by surprise, but…
"Sorry, we know we're being threaten, but can't take a blurry thing THAT seriously?" Phobos stated off that it's hard taking what the guy says since he doesn't have an appearance.
"Oh, then what would you like me to look like? Thanks to the massive amount of negative ectoplasm I'm using to create a gate for all imprisoned ghost in the Dark to escape, I can assume a new form for myself." Rowan stated that from what he's managed to acquire, he can assume a form now.
"Um, well….I wouldn't mind something that is nice, small, & cute…" Fluttershy meekly asked politely of such a thing; earning attention from her friends. "What?" She answered a question Rowan asked, was that so wrong.
"Oh, is this what you wanted?" Suddenly, Rowan warped his blue blurry mass of spirit to become that of a white furry alicorn stallion with yellow eyes. "Something that's familiar for all pony kind, & such?" He stated off to say with a simple smile across the face.
"Hugh…kind makes one feel like they are looking at a friendly ghost?" Elder Pie raised an eyebrow in not expecting an evil ghost without a form to take the form of something pleasant looking.
"Well, I don't have any problem with that. So, thank you for being very reasonable?" Fluttershy meekly & politely thanked the ghost for allowing them something she doesn't find scary at all.
"This is what you want, it works for me." Rowan shrug off to slyly smile in not minding the form it's self. "Although, with much negative ectoplasmic particles around I'm absorbing, things with my form might…change slightly?" He stated off to say this as he began to show…a dark smile across his face.
Suddenly at that moment, the negative green ghostly ectoplasm force was entering Rowan's new form, causing it to become solid-base. But it also was warping the image, becoming demonic-like, & growing.
"Ugh, guys…I think he's really going for it?" Pinkamena stated in realizing that the enemy went with this plot.
"Oh dear…I believe I said cute? Cute…!?" Fluttershy yelped in recalling what she said earlier.
"That Ain't Cute! THAT-AIN'T CUUUUUTE!?" Phobos cried out in realizing that the evil Rowan was making himself into a real monster.
Rowan continues to grow as all witness his newly evil form. Rowan was now a gray demonic-looking alicorn with dark turquoise-blue pulsating spots all over him, dark & light gray color wild mane & tail, & beady, demonic form yellow eyes, pointy ears, crescent horn, bat-like wings, & sharp teeth. Truly, he looks like a demonic ghostly demon from beyond the grave. Worse of all, is he was still growing ever more.
"Oh, no-no-no-no-no…." Spike yelped off in seeing this was not looking good.
"Okay, this is not good?" Nyx stated in seeing an evil smirking Rowan gaze down at them.
Then with a wave of it's hooves, unleashed a ghostly force that pushed everyone across & into the edge of the building's roof.
"Who-hahahah, WOOH-Hahahahahh…" Rowan lets off an evil cackle, as something was occurring where as Rowan grew, his body began to destroy the mansion as he was growing at a large scale.
"Quick! Everybody AIRBOARD!" Elder Pie yelled off that they got to leave this sight, pronto.
Soon Fluttershy took off, Phobos & Nyx worked together to carry Pinkamena upwards while Elder Pie carried Spike who yelped from the feeling. As they soon saw that Rowan had reached a gigantic size of 300 feet tall, & lets just say that after destroying the mansion with a large hoof, it was like witnessing KING-KONG of the forest.
"And where do you think your going? The fun…has only begun!" Rowan exclaimed before noticing that those that caused him problems tried to be at a safe distance.
Suddenly through a green warp of eerie mist, green ghost wailed off as if beginning to cause misfit & ghostly hours. Every scary, freaky, & evil ghostly ghoul ever imagine was let loose.
"IT'S THE ATTACK OF THE LIVING DEAD!" Phobos screamed out in what was happening.
"They're Ghost, remember?" Spike remotely stated to correct Phobos' term.
"Still, they're just as scary!" Nyx stated in seeing this was a scary bunch to encounter that's worse then the other ghost from the mansion.
Then before Rowan could touch Fluttershy's group, he was attacked by a blast from Elder Pinkie Pie pulling an old party cannon that exploded around his left face…
"Even in the afterlife, nothing like my old party cannon to liven things up." Elder Pie smiled off to praise her old cannon even in the afterlife.
"Now's our chance to split, come on!" Pinkamena issued off that it's time they get out of sight.
"GROOUUARRRRrughhhh!" Rowan lets off a monstrous roar when it's targets escaped from him. "You can Run, but you can't HIDE! For this world, will soon….Be…MINE!" He pronounced forth in a loud booming voice.
The gang hid behind some trees as Rowan was seen smashing stuff around to find his targets.
"Okay, so now what? This guy's not keeping on what Fluttershy agreed on?" Spike asked off in seeing Rowan cheated out of what Fluttershy spoke about what form he takes.
Then a large stomp happened that destroyed a couple of trees in the swamp while much of it was dropped afterwards from his slow menace at work.
"Yeah! What part of small & friendly, did he NOT understand?" Phobos complained in seeing Rowan is anything BUT small, cute, & friendly…he's a nightmare.
"Even so, what do we do now?" Nyx asked in what they can do at this time against such a foe.
"It's clearly obvious that even the Poltergust 3000 can't suck in a ghost THAT Size! It's bigger then Spoolossus for crying out loud!? And we had to pop him to smaller ghost to beat him!" Pinkamena exclaimed in seeing they can't suck in a ghost the size of KING KONG,
"Oh, I wish the professor could help?" Fluttershy moans to wish for a helpful aid of the professor, this time…this is a problem that's really big.
"ZZzzz….Fluttershy…." Then a voice was heard coming from a device Fluttershy had.
"Hugh…Professor!?" Fluttershy yelped with relief joy to activate the GB Horror to see a friendly face.
"Oh, am I glad I managed to reach in. I managed to see what's happening since your not in a different dimension." Professor E. Gadd spoke in being very relieved to locate those here.
"That makes it worse, Rowan & his army of evil ghost plan to stay & take over your world unless something can stop them?" Elder Pie explained that with Rowan loose & having an army of evil ghost, he'll take over the realm of the living then just ghost capturing some in haunted places.
"Actually, there is a way. You must focus a large amount of energy into the portal with more power. If you can do that, you may be able to cause a reverse action. In short, you need to cross-streams." Professor E. Gadd explained the ghost scientific view on how to stop all of this.
"Wait, doesn't that scientific matter cause one's atoms to implode?" Pinkamena asked off in lastly hearing about such a thing.
"No, listen. You must cross them up, & get an extremely good shot of pulling all of the atomizer ectoplasm back into the dimension of it's origin." Professor E. Gadd explained that if done right, will only drag the ghost of where they escape from, back to where they belong.
"So on the plus side, we can save Equestria. But on the negative side, experience the most painful death considerable of all time." Pinkamena pondered off in realizing they got a 50/50 shot of life or death choices.
"Wow, it's hard to shine that kind of penny alright when you hear that?" Elder Pie commented in having heard that.
"So is there another plan?" Phobos asked in hoping there was a Plan B they can use then a risky Plan A, or maybe a Plan C instead?
"And it's soon, Rowan's planning to head out & going towards Ponyville!" Spike pointed off in noticing Rowan was already making his way out of the swamp with an army to command.
"We…we'll have to trust the professor, come on." Fluttershy suddenly had to suck in her fears, & agree to perform this plan.
"She's right guys, we gotta try something, or else Rowan wins!" Nyx stated in knowing if they don't try, then it'll be a never ending Ghost-Apocalypse.
The gang quickly flies back to the portal while Rowan & his army are making way through the ghostly fog to reach it's outskirts.
"Hmmm….what are they…?" Suddenly, Rowan noticed that the flesh group that escaped his sight, are up to something? "Continue to spread, my Evil Ghost! I have other matters….to attendant to?" He stated in seeing that there is something he must take care of; for good…
The gang was seen arriving at the green vortex portal of where the Haunted Mansion once stood.
"I think we got a problem…the portal's too strong, without magic around here, you don't have that power to reverse it?" Elder Pie stated in realizing that from the unnatural fog, all magic is useless here & they can't use anything powerful to close the ghost portal.
"Fluttershy, everyone…I launched something to land near you." Professor E. Gadd contacted on the GB Horror to which above them, something was slowly descending by parachute.
"Hugh, what's this?" Fluttershy asked in noticing something descended down to them; a canister filled with red glowy stuff.
"A collection of Ecotplasm Particles of a positive source. If you launch it inside & fire a strong enough blast, you might be able to close the portal." Professor E. Gadd explained what will happen if the group throws that object in & with a big blast, cause the portal to close.
"You mean it'll turn that portal into a giant ghost vacuum trap?" Nyx asked in following what the discussion was about.
"Then it's just like the Poltergust 3000 then?" Spike stated in also realizing how to picture that idea.
"Only SUPER SIZE!" Phobos issued off in also picturing a giant super size ghost vacuum cleaner.
"Quickly, I hear giant steps, & it sounds ever closer?" Pinkamena stated in hearing loud sounds of something approaching.
Without delay, the gang picks up the heavy canister to bring it over to the green portal vortex; but someone afar notices what they are doing.
"Stooooppp!" Rowan was seen stomping across the area to try to prevent
"NOOOW!" Fluttershy yelled out that it was time.
With a final struggle lift & toss effort, they toss the positive canister of ectoplasm into the vortex portal while Elder Pie shot a cannonball from her party cannon to trigger the release. Then after the object was swallowed up, the entire green portal exploded into a bright redness. Then without warning, it began to create a large size tornado cloud, & invisible red lines were reaching out to touch all of the evil ghost, causing them to be dragged back.
"It's working!" Fluttershy stated in seeing that what they did, was causing an effect on the escaped ghost.
So many evil ghost were getting pulled into the red suction portal, none of them had a chance to escape. As Rowan was seen stomping over to approach the heroes, the same red ghost threads were tying around him to start pulling him as well; much to his massive size of resistance.
"Uh oh! He's too strong!?" Spike yelped in seeing Rowan was not going down yet.
"We can't let the portal close with HIM here!" Phobos panicked in seeing if this guy stays, they don't stand a chance.
"Then it's time we loosen his grip." Pinkamena issued forth that they gotta make the guy lose focus on holding ground.
"But we don't have any magic in this place?" Nyx stated that with them not having any magic, how else can they fight.
"Good thing I called some friends of yours to help?" Elder Pie smiled in stating something here that earn some attention.
Rowan continues to hold himself from being pulled, in, but then…Many other ghost not affected by the red vortex were seen flying. And unleashed magical attacks that were weakening Rowan's hold.
"WHAAAAAAAT!?" Rowan roared off in staring at who was attacking him, they were….
"It's Mangani….&….Johnny Brock's Spirit Ponies?" Fluttershy stated in recognizing those helping them; but how…?
"Yelp…since they are already spiritually ghost, their magic isn't cancelled out like from the living." Elder Pie smiled in seeing that ghost can fight other ghost, especially if magic is used by ghost types, it will not be effected by the supernatural fog.
"But that still isn't enough, what else can work?" Fluttershy stated in noticing that this tactic won't help unless the enemy releases it's hold.
"Oh….I think I got something!" Pinkamena grasp her Chain Blades together & tied them chain to wrap it like a large piece. "It's Payback time for making my Chain Blades attack me, & also used to hurt MY FRIND!" Pinkamena yelled off to what she was gonna do to who did such things to her since having come to this haunted mansion adventure & been made a fool & worse, tried to hurt her friend Fluttershy.
Then Pinkamena tossed her chain up weapon right at Rowan, as the attack landed precisely….RIGHT WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE!
"ARRrugh!" Rowan lets off a loud moanful cry to cringe down from feeling what really, REALLY hurt him to let go of where he kept from being pulled.
"Ooooo…." Spike & Phobos cringed from what just happened.
"That's…GOTTA Hurt?" Spike yelped in having seen that
"Yeah! Even for the DEAD!?" Phobos exclaimed from thinking that hurts even to a ghost.
"Pinkamena, are you sure that was where you wanted to hit?" Nyx asked in not following that action.
"Well Nyx, lets say that in certain times, you gotta hit a male where it hurts….But, maybe don't tell your folks that?" Pinkamena sheepishly stated in how to explain & not tell Nyx such things until she's older.
"UURRAAa-AWWRrraughh…" Rowan was yelping as it was feeling himself get pulled more & more until…he was lifted off the ground. "I refuse to lose after coming this far!" The tyrant ghost was not about to go down without a struggle after coming so far.
That's when as the monstrous size ghost was falling, it reached out it's left hoof to grab….the one pony that has fowled his plans for the last time: Fluttershy!
"FLUTTERSHY! LOOKOUT!" Pinkamena pushed Fluttershy out of the way, but…
Pinkamena was soon taken by the ghostly grip of Rowan.
"PINKAMENA!" Nyx, Spike, & Phobos screamed out in what they saw.
"Your Coming With MERRRAAAAaaurrrghhhh!" Rowan roared off as he was sucked into the red portal vacuum with Pinkamena in his grasp.
Everyone stared in shock in seeing Rowan took Pinkamena into the portal leading to the abyss known as…the Dark. Suddenly, Fluttershy saw the remaining Chain Blades on the ground left by Pinkamena when she threw them at Rowan. That's when the meekly shy mare put two & two together, & the answer…was this.
"Guys, I'm Going in!" Fluttershy stated in trying to put on a brave face.
"Oh, okay…Wait! WHAAATT!?" Phobos suddenly had a second thought in having heard this.
"That's too dangerous Fluttershy?" Nyx stated about the danger of such an action.
"Yeah, this portal's about to close, & you can be trapped forever?" Spike stated about what will happen if Fluttershy can't get back in time.
"Pinkamena protected me, now I must return the favor!" Fluttershy issued off to say this in what she has to do…for a friend.
"Not alone, I'm going too!" Elder Pie issued off to float near the meek mare. "You all stay here to pull us in when we give a tug signal." She turn to Nyx's group to explain what role they must play.
The young ones were against it, but knew that there was no other choice. Fluttershy held the chain as she & Elder Pinkie Pie dives in, & soon enters the red swirling vortex tunnel which halfway turn up being green. Ahead, they soon spotted Rowan as he was descending, but he made a wicked smile in noticing who came while clutching his hostage.
"So it's come to this, if I'm going down, I'll take you all with me." Rowan issued off in what he'll plan to do to all that have gotten in the way of his plans.
"No….not all of us…but just…you." Fluttershy meekly, but sternly objected the manner while preparing…to end this.
Then at that moment, Fluttershy held the Poltergust 3000 to unleash everything she can throw without being careful or cautious. Compressed Water Balls, Compressed Ice Balls, even Compressed Fire Balls, all at one location…for the villain's grip on Pinkamena to be let go.
"GRRUUAArrughhh!" Rowan let off a loud cry, as his hold on Pinkamena tossed her upwards towards those above them…
"I got'cha!" Fluttershy caught Pinkamena that lost conscious.
"You…WON'T ESCAAAAAAAPE!" Rowan yelled off in trying to reach out to grab the mortal ponies before he reach the bottom.
"Oh no, this isn't good? I think I push the Poltergust too hard, it can't use any Elements?" Fluttershy yelps in trying to use the vacuum, but she pushed it too hard, & doesn't have anything left to give.
"Then there's no time, now's your only chance to escape, take Pinkamena & get out of here." Elder Pie issued off in what she needs Fluttershy to do here.
"But, what are you going to do? Aren't you coming along?" Fluttershy asked in not liking the sounds of this.
"Sadly, no…Rowan will try to use all of his power to stop you & take you to where no living creature can return from. I'll hold him back to give you time." Elder Pie stated to say that she'll have to be the one to keep Rowan from ending the living lives of those here.
"But then you'll…" Fluttershy was about to protest, but…
"Hey, I'm already dead as a ghost, besides…Pinkamena fought well even without magical powers, & did everything possible; like she was normal as the rest of you." Elder Pie smiled to say this much on trying to be positive while seeing how much Pinkamena managed to do things just fine, weather one's powerful or just plain normal, it's what matters most that counts.
"Ugh…" Fluttershy was a bit speechless right there.
"Take care…" Elder Pie stated to say while giving that old Pinkie Pie cheery smile.
Now Elder Pinkie Pie leaves the two mares while aiming her party cannon to launch them backwards & her forwards to collide in the gut of Rowan to drag him down further at the abyss' bottom. Their impact at the bottom of the portal causes a strange light obliterating the portal pathway around & those within…
"NOOORRUUAAAAghhh!" Rowan roared off when Elder Pie force them into the bottom center, where a bright light flash from the unseen abyss.
Elder Pie smiled in seeing this as the light blur out her image while the two living ponies were getting pulled back.
"Ugh…wha…" Pinkamena slowly began to regain consciousness…
"Come on Pinkamena, lets go home…" Fluttershy smiled in stating they will head for home now.
Without warning, a tug was on the chain as Fluttershy & Pinkamena were getting pulled upwards from the green to red vortex tunnel, & straight to the entrance/exit. At that time, Nyx, Spike & Phobos were pulling as fast as they can to get their friends back. But the implosion from when Rowan hit the bottom caused a chain reaction in the ghost tunnel, Pinkamena covered Fluttershy to which it caused something to her; her mane turn white. Finally reaching the entrance, Fluttershy & Pinkamena were pulled out & just as the portal closed in on it's self to become the ground again. At that very same moment, the eerie supernatural ghostly fog that surrounded the swamps suddenly began to clear away, as sunlight began to appear as if signaling a nightmare was over…
"There they are!" Nyx spoke as she & the baby dragons saw the mares.
"They made it back!" Spike exclaimed of Fluttershy & Pinkamena's return.
"Hurray!" Phobos cheered for such news.
The groups gathers to celebrated those that went through the ghost portal & managed to return safely. But then many yelp in seeing Pinkamena's mane & tail were all…white-out.
"Woah! Hugh, I guess covering that weird supernatural force change my mane a bit?" Pinkamena yelped in seeing that her mane's color changed to make her almost look like her age; isn't that ironic for a mare who hasn't age in about a 1000 years. "But maybe a little hair-dye & in due time, it'll return to normal." She stated in trying to think positive about the subject.
The group kind laugh off about such a subject, but as long as things were back to normal, it's fine. But Pinkamena turn to the open hill in looking for someone, Fluttershy seem hesitant to tell her friend what happened, but she found something on the ground her hoof came in contact with.
"Hugh, what's this?" Pinkamena holds up a strange portrait depicting of Elder Pinkie Pie with a party cannon of confetti fired while being all happy-like. "A Portrait of….Elder Pinkie Pie, but…where did it come from?" She was puzzled, where & how did this painting come to be.
"Well, she pushed Rowan deeper in the ghost portal, & then she disappeared in a bright light when she asked me to escape with you?" Fluttershy looked down in regret to mention, what became of Elder Pinkie Pie.
"I see…so in the end, she was looking out for me? Even in death, she watch over me?" Pinkamena seem kinda down, but looking at the bottom of the frame, was a label mark. "Hugh, a hidden message…let me see here?" She examined the strange message left carved in tiny print to read with a magnifying glass. "To defeat a darkness from one's self made in flesh & blood, only a 'True' Pinkie Pie, can defeat a Corrupted End?" She read this information in how it sounded mysterious.
"What does that mean?" Fluttershy asked in being curious here.
"It's a message from my Pinkie Pie, about my own goal in stopping an evil that escaped my sight?" Pinkamena stated in having to guess, Elder Pie meant about stopping the evil counterpart that came from them; Psycho Pie. "Maybe someday, I'll discover it's true meaning…for now…at least this painting makes me feel like you can still watch over me." She was curious now, did Elder Pinkie Pie give a clue in which there was a way to defeat an evil version of Pinkie Pie, but what did it mean…'True' Pinkie Pie that befuddled her mind; but for now, she has something of the late Elder Pie & she will treasure it.
"Look! I see the professor, & everyone coming back!" Nyx stated in seeing their friends were coming from the shack.
At that moment, a new happy & joyful moment filled the air for many that had such a difficult time, were now able to enjoy the peace brought to them.
SEVERAL WEEKS LATER…
"And so the matter of the ghosts was settled. Professor E. Gadd was so delighted to have all of his paintings returned that he used the treasure Fluttershy had found to build Fluttershy a new house!" Pinkamena narrated off to say this about what events occurred in the aftermath of many things that happened next.
The image of the dark spooky area where the Haunted Mansion use to be, was soon gone in replacing it with something else. A large mansion with a front door, 12 windows on the front. There were four medium windows on floor one, then floor two, then floor three, two extended sides on the edges had two vertical windows in place, & a large window in the center of the door, & two windows in-between near the side buildings with chimneys, & both were near a spot with a large 'F' logo.
"Congratulations! Your mansion is complete!" Pinkamena pops in with everyone in revealing this surprise
"My word…This place feels like an A Rank spot for any Aristocrat pony to come visit & wanna live in." Rarity stated to comment the place that Fluttershy now has that is her own property.
"And going by the choices, there was a B Rank manor home, a C Rank modern family home, a D Rank family house size, an E Rank basic two pony home, an F Rank small house, a G Rank one pony living home, & lastly the cheapest was an H Rank home that's just a tent?" Pinkie Pie randomly was looking through earlier pictures of home designs, & such of what Fluttershy could have ended up owning.
"Yeah….I doubt Fluttershy mind the tent? But still, this is AWESOME, we got our own mansion!" Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes to say while still commenting on how fantastic this place really is.
"Wha's de big deal, don't matter where ye live, as long as it's a home ye like. Just like Twilight feels at home in her castle." Applejack smiled to state this much about another friend who lived in a library & after certain events; lives in a castle.
"It was very nice of Professor E. Gadd to make this for you Fluttershy?" Starlight commented about what the professor did for the brave mare despite always being the meek & shy one of them all.
"Oh, I don't know if I can live in such a place? But…I wouldn't mind turning it into a Hotel Mansion for Animals." Fluttershy smiled to meekly state about what she wouldn't mind doing to have this place serve a purpose.
"Wow, that's just like that film Megan showed us called; Hotel For Animals? So you gonna use it as a place where ponies & animals can live in luxury, Fluttershy?" Nyx smiled in stating a 4th wall breaking moment about a film they saw & what this feels like about a place where animals can get service.
"Wow, that's about the kindest thing anyone would want? I mean, if the price is right, can anyone come?" Spike stated to say while also asking a question.
"Oh course, it'll only be a reasonable fee for everypony." Fluttershy nods lightly to say with an honest & kind smile.
"SWEET!" Phobos cheered forth in loving what he's heard now.
"I'm just glad the evil ghost problem was settled." Twilight signed with relief about a case that was solved.
"But what about Snicker, wasn't he just a helpless victim of circumstances?" Dexter asked in being concern about a ghost that was not the actual villain here.
"King Kaboomka was informed about what happened, & says because he fell under Rowan's control, being trapped in a painting will be serving as punishment enough for…well, lets just say it'll be a long while?" Ben explained what was gonna happen with Snicker, & by the sounds of it…King Kaboomka might have been merciful, maybe…in letting the ghost stay in a portrait until he felt the ghost can be let out.
"Right, & if there was plans for there to be a Fluttershy's Mansion 2 adventure, if Rowan ever came back, he play the villain then Snickers & Kaboomka." Pinkie Pie randomly broke the 4th wall in mentioning this while earning attention from everyone on that puzzling claim.
"Pinkie Pie, you are so random?" Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes to state this claim on the random pony.
"Well in any case, lets just be glad it's behind us." Rarity stated to say with a smile on her face.
"Yep, being framed is alright, as long as we're not stuck in it?" Applejack nods off to agree with a different matter on the mind.
"Why don't we take our pets in Fluttershy's new place & just enjoy the peace we have?" Twilight smiled in suggesting what they do & have a nice quiet time with them hanging out in a friend's new place.
"Sounds good to me." Ben smiled to say this in agreement.
"Us too!" Nyx, Spike & Phobos replied off in also agreeing here.
"Don't forget about me." Starlight spoke off to not be left out.
"And I definitely want to join in." Goldie issued forth to also take part.
"Man, good thing you got a good size courtyard, even Azure can enjoy the feeling here even in his Pony-Dragon Hybrid form." Pinkamena smiled in stating this kind of thing about her own pet pal to enjoy the place.
"Ready to go Fluttershy?" Dexter asked the mare he loves if she was ready.
"Oh yes, must definitely…" Fluttershy nods a bit in happily seeing, they can go in a place & not be scared.
The gang slowly prepare to head towards the new mansion with smiling faces, for this wasn't a Haunted Mansion, this here…was Fluttershy's NEW Mansion that was scary free. The scene changes to a lovely little painting of the NEW Mansion hang in a gold frame. And slowly something appeared to signal the story was done, as it has finally reach…
