Efrm202- I never said that the Bo is smaller than Katana, the bo is 4ft long i.e 120 cms approx. I haven't introduced a Katana yet.

1. Kabuto wasn't at a high Chunin level when he took part in Chunin exams in Konoha, Konoha had loopwholes in its security but still Naruto's identity as Minato's son was a secret to civilians and spies. So somethings could be still kept secret in Konoha, inspite of spies present there.

2. I had clarified that Naruto was a leader for head-on-battles, while Sasuke would be for other types of missions.

3. It doesn't make such a impact even if you use five Hand-seals while Naruto's still learning the clone technique. He has mastered the techniques till one hand sign before he took the mission to waves.

4. I have again clarified that He had borrowed the scrolls for Raiton jutsu as he didn't had one.

5. Lastly, as for English; the chapters would be a little late but the grammer and spellings would be correct.

Hours later at Tazuna house:-

Tsunami, she was the only daughter of Tazuna. She had been through two marriages, her first husband died due to over-drinking and her second husband was killed by Gato. She had a son from her first husband named Inari, Inari was a very soft hearted boy from his young age. He had lost his father before he can hold memories and his 'Hero', his second father Kaiza was executed by Gato for his bravery and courage.

Inari's heart broke by Kaiza's death and he went to become cold hearted and silent. Tsunami was washing her dishes when she heard a knock on her door, she opened it to see 8 people standing outside her gates. A group of blonde quadruplets? nonetheless, a black haired boy, a pink haired girl, her father and a man with white hairs supported by two of the blonde quadruplets. Her father was glaring between the blonde quadruplets group and the black haired boy constantly.

"It's good to see you're safe Tsunami, How's Inari? Is he home yet?" asked Tazuna hugging his daughter.

"No...Tou-san, He is out in backyard fishing" said Tsunami glancing toward Rest of the people.

"We are Konoha's ninja, We're here to protect your father" Said Sakura from behind her team, "Could we get a room to stay here, Our sensei is hurt and it would be problematic for us to search an inn at this moment" asked Sakura.

"Yes of course, Please come in. Please go upstairs, you will find two rooms there choose the left one. Put your luggage inside that room and lay your sensei there, I will make some soup to recharge him" Said Tsunami ushering them inside.

It wasn't until next morning untill Kakashi got consciousness, Naruto and Sasuke had slept in same room with Kakashi. Well technically only Sasuke slept as Naruto was worried about his brother and cound not sleep well. Sakura had shared a room with Tsunami and Inari slept with his grandfather down the hall.

Kakashi opened his eyes to be greeted by a severe headache and exhaustion. He tried to sit up but felt a weight on his hand, he looked toward his right hand where he was feeling a bit of weight, Naruto's hand was on Kakashi wrist holding it firmly and Naruto was sleeping curled like a fox.

Many people didn't knew this but Kakashi would have left the Leaf village if it wasn't for Naruto, after his sensei death Kakashi was broken. It was only for Naruto that he chose to stay in village to protect him and look after him. He cared and adored Naruto as a little brother, that was the reason he wanted second guardianship of his brother. For many people Kakashi was a emotionless and aloof person, but only a few people including Anko and Gai knew that Kakashi had soft and protective spot for his brother.

He smiled under his mask and ruffled Naruto's hair, He sat back a little taking the support of wall behind him to adjust himself. Sakura walked into the room at this point, Kakashi was sitting with support of the wall and Naruto was sleeping curled up like a fox beside him. She went on to check on Kakashi, after a light body checkup she gave him some chakra replinishing liquid.

After an hour Sasuke had woken up and three of the genins had got freshened up. They were now seen to be standing infront of Kakashi as he had called them to inform something, "Well done team, for your first mission outside village you performed quite well and had shown great co-ordination with good sense of mind. Now for why I called you, I think that Zabuza is still alive" stated Kakashi.

"But...but, We saw him die sensei, right? How can he be alive? Didn't that Hunter ninja killed him?" asked Sasuka a little concerned.

"No, that couldn't be it. That nin should have helped us if he wanted to kill Zabuza, and on the other hand none of the hunter ninjas use senbon for the purpose of killing. That hunter nin was fake, wasn't he sensei?" deducted Sasuke. He was also aiming to become an anbu and then a hunter nin to track down Itachi and kill him. So, he had gathered allot of information about them.

"Very good observation Sasuke. For now we will stay low, even if he is injured he can be healed in two week time by any medic with right knowledge of potions. So, you three have to train for two weeks and get some skills to atleast stand a chance" explained Kakashi.

"As you can see I am not in the right state to train you, till I recover you will train by yourself. You will improve your skills that you've learnt till now and should also work on eliminating your weaknesses" Said Kakashi.

"Also everyday two of you will guard Tazuna as he works on the bridge and one of you will stay here to protect the house, you will takeup the posts alternatively. You can train in evening after returning from guarding duty" explained Kakashi.

He then signalled them to dismiss and returned to his bed to rest a little more.

Kakashi perfectly trusted his genins, they were capable enough to train themselves. Naruto had skills that he had learned from Sandaime hokage, Sasuke also had another teacher in the form of ex-Black ops anbu, Shishui Uchiha And Sakura had her medical scrolls and taijutsu to improve.

Kakashi was proud to see their teamwork yesterday, how Naruto instantly took the role of leader, how Sasuke intercepted every move of Demon brothers and how Sakura took the role of a medic and a powerhouse.

Sasuke was a good leader for missions like escort, stealth and assassination, while Naruto was a good leader in head on battles like they had with Zabuza. Sakura was not a candidate for leadership as she was a kind-hearted and would let her feelings get in the way of decisions.

Naruto was also thinking about all these events all along, he also had a guess that Zabuza was not still dead. If he would have been a bit idiot and not trained by Hiruzen he would have never guessed it but he had learned to observe.

He henged himself into a middle aged man and went on toward the city to gather some information, he was taking lessons in information gathering from Jiraiya. Jiraiya was famous for his vast spy network so it was obvious that he would share his knowledge with his Godson. Naruto was strolling around the city aimlessly when he heard some commonation around a shop. He went on to check on the shop and found that a middle-aged man was being beaten by two/three thugs, and his daughter was dragged down on the road by an another thug.

"This is what you will get. If you don't pay the taxes we will loot anything precious to you, even your daughter" laughed the thug dragging the girl away.

Naruto made a shadow clone and ordered it to deal off with thugs pestering old man and went off toward the man dragging the girl away. His clone henges himself into an older boy and beat the thugs senseless.

After ten or so minutes he catched up to the thug moving toward hill behind the town, he thrashed the thug and let him run away tucking his tail behind its leg. He nodded to himself and made 6 hand signs "Summoning jutsu: Toad spy", a black toad appeared in a puff. It had grey underside its arms legs and green marks all over his back, around its eyes and lips.

"Hello there Summoner-san, I am Gamashi. I am the second son of Gamaken and a spy toad as you have requested" Croaked Gamashi.

Naruto had been training in toad Summoning for some times now, Hiruzen and Jiraiya had teached him that legendary contracts such as Toad, Snake, Slug and a few more had several of type of individuals to summon.

As for toad clan it had three tribes, they had three different leaders in the form of Gamaken, Gamahiro and the legendary Gamabunta. Gamaken's tribe was famous for spying, bo-Jutsu/ Sasumata/ Naginata and messenger toads. Gamahiro's tribe was famous for double sword kenjutsu, Sealing techniques and toad conjunction Jutsus and last but not least Gamabunta's tribe was the lead tribe and was famous for its battle toads, senjutsu and kenjutsu.

Naruto had to take permissions from all toad chiefs to summon toads from all three tribes. He was not very fluent in Summoning but was still able to summon small battle toads and others.

"Please follow that man running over there Gamashi-san and gather as much as information as you can. I will resummon you after a week and if you feel threatened you should go back to Mt Myoboku" Ordered Naruto. He had seen in his training that toads were too loyal to their summoner, they would sacrifice themselves to save their summoner without even thinking once. Naruto was truly proud to be a summoner of Toad clan, He felt like he was one of them, a family, they would sacrifice themselves to save him.

The toad only nodded his head and went on behind the man hopping fastly.

Naruto went on toward a clearing near to house to train his bo-jutsu on a tree, it was Sakura and Sasuke turn to guard Tazuna today.

It was late evening when Naruto entered the house, Kakashi was sitting on the dining table with Sakura, Tazuna and Inari while Tsunami was serving dinner to them. Sasuke was nowhere to be found.

"Where's Sasuke? Kakashi-sensei" questioned Naruto quizzed, "hasn't he completed his training yet?"

"I don't know Naruto, he left the house in the morning after you and hasn't returned till now" stated Kakashi poking in the food with his chopstick.

Before they could say anything else, the door opened and Sasuke entered the house. He was both bruised and exhausted by his training. Sasuke was trying to improve his taijutsu and wanted to combine elemental jutsus with his tantos. He just went on to sit beside Sakura, and Naruto sat beside him.

The three of them were conversing about their training regime;

"So you want to further improve your taijutsu style, I thought intercepter fist was complete with Sharingan. If you do need any help, I am all-ready to help you teme" Said Naruto while gobbling his rice. Sasuke just nodded his head glancing toward Naruto.

"So, I've heard that you also need some help with your taijutsu Sakura. Why don't you join us tomorrow? I have perfect techniques for both of you" explained Naruto after Sakura nodded at his question. He had many scrolls on different subject given to him by Jiraiya and Hiruzen for training. Jiraiya had made sure to put blood seals on them so that only Naruto was able to use them and they don't fall in wrong hands.

Before any of them could say anything Inari stoop up and silently went toward his room without eating anything, Tsunami excused herself to go behind him. This wasn't normal for anyone of them except Tazuna and Tsunami, they knew Inari didn't liked strangers or noises. Inari preferred quite places and tried to avoid people after his father execution.

They all went on to eat their dinners and then slept in their designated places.

Next evening after Naruto had returned from guard duty with Sasuke, He took Sakura and Sasuke toward the forest to teach them something he had seen Hiruzen use and had acquired scrolls for that particular jutsu. They reached a clearing where Naruto started to explain them their training patterns.

"So, first I want to know your affinities. it's necessary to know your affinities and master them at least to a certain level to combine these jutsus with your taijutsu" Stated Naruto.

"Well..I have two affinities, Fire and lightning, and I haven't mastered any of those" Sasuke explained.

"I don't know my affinities" said Sakura in a small voice.

Both boy's head snapped toward her in shock, "You haven't checked your affinity yet, that's carelessness Sakura. Even if you aim to become medic ninja, you need to have some ninjutsus in your arsenal" Naruto scolded her lightly, this was one of the reasons Sakura respected her blonde teammate. Naruto was caring and protective toward his teammates, friends and familiy.

"Ok..So..Sakura, you can't learn to control your elemental afinity in such a short time. Instead, I will test your afinity and will teach you some jutsu from that element. Let me go back to house, I will fetch some Chakra afinity papers and Raiton jutsu scrolls from sensei" said Naruto and ran back toward house. Naruto didn't had Raiton jutsu scrolls as his natural Fuuton afinity was direct opposite of Raiton. It wasn't like he can't use Raiton jutsu, but his Raiton ninjutsus wouldn't be as strong as a natural user so he postponed his training for further times. After half an hour he returned with some chakra papers in hand and some scrolls hung to his waist.

He put chakra paper in Sakura hand and told her to flow some of her chakra through the paper. The chakra afinity paper crumbled in to dust from its lower end, Doton affinity.

He made a T-shaped hand seals and in a puff of smoke four shadow clones appeared. He had mastered his shadow clones to one hand seal long time ago, He ordered all four of them to go with Sakura. They would first teach her leaf floating exercise and after she masters that they would teach her some Doton Ninjutsus.

He went on with Sasuke toward the clearing on the other side of the forest, they reached the clearing and Naruto went on to explain him training regime.

"I am going to experiment something with you, I will teach you something. You're never to teach this to anyone else without my permission and would never tell anyone who taught you this. But first we both will try to alleast master 35% of one of our elemental chakra" stated Naruto. Sasuke nodded his head in approval, He knew if Naruto was telling him to keep the jutsu technique to themself or its origins secret then this technique was ought to be powerful.

They both went on to train mercilessly for hours in the clearing. This routine continued for the entire week, Naruto would make shadow clones that would teach Sakura and he himself would train with Sasuke.

After a week, We can see Team 7 eating dinner together with Kakashi, Tazuna, and rest of Tazuna's family. Sasuke was adorning burns and bruises all over his body showing his hard training regime with Naruto, the said blone was looking all fine as it was no surprise to anyone. They all knew that Naruto healed quicker than he got cut, he had a ton of stamina thanks to his extra large chakra reserve that rivaled a jonin at this age. Sakura wasn't looking any better than Sasuke, her face showed extreme exhaustion and she adorned bruises along her hands and feet.

Kakashi was smiling and was proud of his brother/student. He was now healthy enough to train them and would take up their training from the next day.

"I see you have been taking your friends to hell Naruto" chuckled Kakashi looking toward Sakura and Sasuke.

"It isn't like that sensei, it's not even 10% of what Jiji puts me through on regular basis" Naruto explained himself, it was quite true. Naruto had been trained by Hiruzen more brutally, first physical training then Weapon training and Lastly Jutsu training in a single day of training.

"THIS IS NOT EVEN TEN FUCKING PERCENT??" asked Sakura in loud voice.

"Well at least, it would pay off good" expressed Sasuke poking his eggplant.

Their conversation was cut off by Inari's high pitched voice,

"Why do you all train so hard? In the end you all will die, you don't have what it takes to bring Gato down" said Inari in a small but firm voice.

"What do you know about us boy? We will definitely kill that 4ft tall goblin, he's nothing infront of the future hokage of Konoha" beamed Naruto laughing, Sasuke just rolled his eyes and Sakura giggled at his confidence.

"Laugh as long as you can, Gato will kill you and then laugh at you. If you think you're powerful enough to kill Gato, you're an Idiot. I bet you even don't know what is the pain of losing someone" Said Inari a little sobered.

This was the wrong thing to say, Naruto lost his cool and took a more serious look. It wasn't like he hadn't felt the pain; pain of ignorance, pain of loneliness and pain of not having parents. Even if Jiraiya came for him and Kakashi and Anko were always there for him, he wanted to alleast know or see his parents. Even if others were there for him, loss of one's parents is still painful. Then there was Sasuke, a boy Naruto saw as a brother. Sasuke was hated for his brother's deed, People judged him for what his brother did and most of all he too had lost his parents. Even his sensei Kakashi had a tough life, Kakashi had told him about his father and friends death, how he lost his sensei infront of his eyes.

"So you would teach me what true suffering is? You know, you atleast have a grandfather and mother to welcome you home. You don't even know what real suffering is; In this room itself one person lost his entire family at the hands of his elder brother. There's another person who lost his loved ones infront of his eyes, and then there's me, I don't even know who my parent's were. So what?? We didn't submit to that, we didn't lose ourselves to that" Naruto hair were infront of his face till this time and his voice was harsh and unforgiving unlike his normal self.

"Go and cry for your father's death, but don't mock other people's suffering. You don't even know what other's life is like. I don't feel hungry Sensei, I am going to train outside" Naruto stood and stormed out of the house toward woods. This was followed up by Inari standing up while crying and running up toward his room.

Sasuke also rose up from his chair and went upstairs silently, He knew what suffering Naruto went through. He was never revenge driven, but after meeting Naruto and training with Shishui even his hidden hate was vanishing rapidly.

Sakura knew their stories, they had told her about their past as a sign of trust. She never knew how it feels to lose someone close to her but still she understood the suffering. She also rose up and went up toward her room, her appetite died after this whole incident.

"Pardon me for my genins, they have had tough childhoods. I'll talk to them about this" said Kakashi.

Tazuna and Tsunami just nodded as reassurance but inside they were also thinking that how can such small kids have so much pain hidden deep inside them. The life of a shinobi was truly brutal and unforgiving.

Next morning:

A girl with a pretty face and black hairs wearing a black kimono was plucking herbs and flower for her master, She was Haku. Haku was a girl from Kirigakure, she was from the renown Yuki clan known for its Hyoton/Ice-relase kekkai-genkkei. Her mother was from the said clan and her father was a normal civilian, Haku was born during bloodline purge and her father was a bloodline opposer.

When he came to know about her ability due to an unfortunate accident he killed her mother and tried to kill her. In the fit of rage and anguish she impaled her father with ice spikes and ran off from her home. After wandering around hungry for sometimes she was founded by Zabuza and was taken in, from that time on she traveled with Zabuza while training to be his perfect tool.

A mop of yellow hair broke her chain of thoughts, infront of her was one of the kids who fought her master, laying flat on his back. She contemplated for a moment and then walked on toward him, she knelt down and was about to touch his face when her hands were suddenly caught.

"I am awoke, so don't you try to rob me" said Naruto thinking some thief was trying to pickpocket him. Instead when he opened his eyes to see the said theif what he saw made his eyes pop of his sockets, He was holding the hand of one the prettiest girl he has ever seen. Big beautiful ebony eyes matching her hairs, sleek but elegant facial structure, pale but healthy skin colour, long nose and slim red lips.

"I am not trying to rob you, it's a dense forest. Wild boars and Jaguars are common here, I was just trying to warn you" said Haku in a sweet and melodious voice.

"O...Oh, I a...am sorry. I thought oth... otherwise" Naruto said a little stuttering. 'Why did I stutter like Hinata' Naruto thought to himself.

Haku giggled a little at Naruto's stutter and innocent behavior, any thoughts of harming him vanished instantly from her mind.

"I was just training here and slept off from exhaustion, can you tell me your name?" asked Naruto rubbing his head at back.

"My name is Haku, I was just collecting some herbs for treating my father. You must be a ninja to train like this, tell me do have some one precious to protect?" Asked Haku looking toward him.

"Yeah, well.. I want to become a Hokage, and Jiji says that a Hokage protect its people. So I want to become a ninja to protect my village and its villagers" said Naruto excitedly pointing toward his chest.

"Those are some good ideals, I believe that our strength comes from protecting our loved ones" stated Haku smiling.

Naruto just nodded his head, they went on to Converse for half an hour and then left toward their respective Adobe. They never met again for the week but Haku's word made a good impact on him.

The week went on as Naruto continued his training with Sasuke and Sakura, Kakashi also joined them from the next day and was not disappointed by the developments they made with Naruto.

Kakashi was told about Naruto teaching Sasuke new jutsu to combine with intercepter fist, he was also happy to know that his genin team had a natural doton user.

Kakashi started to train them from the next day onwards and also gave them some rest. Naruto got rest from training his teammates and himself together while also guarding Tazuna, Sasuke and Sakura got rest from Naruto's brutal training regime. Well it was brutal for Sakura, but for Sasuke it was just a little more than tiring.

Kakashi also focused on training Naruto to use Raiton jutsu as he was one of the top raiton user in entire elemental nation.

It went on for a week, a day before the end of week Naruto resummoned Gamashi to retrieve the gathered information on Gato plan's. He went on toward forest to summon him as he didn't want Sakura and Sasuke to see him doing that.

"Summoning jutsu: Toad spy Return" said Naruto silently, in a puff of smoke Gamashi appeared right infront of him.

"I believe there were no problems during your information gathering, Gamashi-san" stated Naruto.

"No, it went all fine. They were truly unaffected by my presence, it was like if I wasn't even there" explained Gamashi.

"What information have you gathered Gamashi-san?" asked Naruto.

"Gato has a hidden warehouse behind the hills, he runs his business from there. He currently has 55 local thugs in his gang and he had also employed two ninjas from Kirigakure. Momochi Zabuza is alive but was injured, he has healed perfectly now and is planning to ambush the bridge builder tommorow on the bridge" Explained Gamashi, due to his dark colouring he was able to spy efficiently.

"Also it looks like there're some problems with Gato and his employees, they both are not on good terms and Gato is planning to betray and kill Zabuza after he kills Bridge builder. That's it Naruto-san" croaked Gamashi, he bowed his head and went back to Mt. Myoboku.

'I need to tell this to sensei, so that we need to formulate a for plan all this or this will cause problems for us. Plus the second ninja should be dealt off efficiently, it will put Tazuna and his families life in danger if we fail' thought Naruto and went in the house to tell Kakashi about the leads.

He gathered Sasuke and Sakura in the way toward Kakashi room, the three of them entered the room to see that Kakashi was sitting on the window reading his book. It was a fact that Kakashi was addicted to his books, they were some kind of smuts and Kakashi could be found reading them all the times.

"Sensei, I need to tell you something" Said Naruto looking toward Kakashi seriously. If Naruto was serious then this was something of uttermost importance, and everyone in the room knew this rule. Kakashi closed his book, sat straight and signalled Naruto to explain.

"Last week When you told us about Zabuza being alive, I thought that I should gather some information about them. I went toward city and found some of Gato men tormenting an old man, long story short, I dealt off with thugs leaving one and I put one of my Summons to spy on him" said Naruto.

Kakashi just nodded, he was proud of his little brother. Naruto at this age fully understood the value of information gathering and was capable enough to gather some himself. He signalled Naruto to go on.

"My summon found Gato's hidden warehouse behind the hills. He also found that Zabuza is planning to kill Tazuna-san tomorrow and Gato is planning to betray and kill Zabuza after that as not to pay him" explained Naruto.

"These are some highly beneficial information, I am proud of you Naruto. You did not only understood the value of information but also used your skill effectively to gather them" said Kakashi and ruffled Naruto's hair.

"Sensei, these circumstances could prove beneficial for us, we can easily bargain with Zabuza. He can leave Tazuna-san alone and we'll let him kill Gato. He would want revenge for Gato's treachery" expressed Sasuke.

"It's highly unlikely scenario Sasuke, Zabuza is not a man of words. But it'll not hurt to try and change his motive" said Kakashi and went on to formulate plans for tomorrow.

Kakashi suggested that they will go on regular guard duty and will deal off with Zabuza on bridge itself. Also Naruto was ordered to leave four shadow clones in the house itself to protect Tsunami and Inari if Gato sent thugs to harm them.

All plans were set to confront Zabuza and the other ninja, little did Naruto knew he was going to receive a big shock from the chain of events in future.

Unknown to them one red-eyed fellow listened every thing, nodded to himself and then went on to vanish in the wave country...
