Eda's room was a mess. Books cluttered the floor, potions scattered across the ground and everything was disorganized.
Hours and hours went by and Luz worked very hard to find the spell that could cure Lilith and Eda, but found nothing. She found all kinds of spells for floating, invisibility, and x-ray eyes but nothing that could be useful in this situation.
"Aw, come on!" Luz groaned, tossing a book of animal spells across her shoulder. "There has to be something here to cure Eda and Lilith!"
Suddenly after a few more minutes of searching, a book about transformation spells titled A Witch's guide to Transformations caught her eye and she brightened once more.
Luz took the book and brushed the dust away. Upon seeing a picture of a witch with a heavyset body transformed into a thin and lovely lady, she cheered and shot her fist up in victory.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! This has to be it!" She cried out joyfully, hugging the book to her chest.
Then with a pen and paper, she skimmed through the book, looking for the right spell so she could draw it right on paper.
"Don't worry, Eda. I'm coming for you," Luz stated determinedly as she kept searching through the book.
Over at the restaurant, the massive blobby sisters had consumed the entire restaurant's supply of food and were so close to destroying the restaurant with their massive butts nearly touching the walls.
Their bellies squished against one anothers as they both let out a massive one minute burp in unison.
"Aaaaaah, that was a nice meal wasn't it Lilith?" Eda asked her sister with a smile, her mouth covered with chocolate frosting.
"Indeed, sister," Lilith said in a relaxed tone patting her belly.
Suddenly both sisters' bellies rumbled furiously and noisily, demanding for more food as they blushed.
"You know I'm still hungry," Eda stated.
"Well I'm more hungry than you," Lilith replied.
Eda frowned and glared at her massive sister. "Are you saying that you can eat more than me?"
Lilith chuckled. "Well, Edalyn, I am much fatter than you so yes I am obviously the better eater."
"Pssssh, no way Lily!" Eda laughed. "I've been better than you at everything so I'm obviously the better eater."
"Really?" Lilith smirked. "Well, let's find out shall we!"
Lilith made a massive circle with her hands and a massive pile of food appeared before their eyes with a vast variety of delectable meals to choose from including cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, etc.
Lilith and Eda's mouths watered as their stomachs continued rumbling, begging for them to eat the food.
"Let's find out who the better eater is once and for all," Lilith smirked.
"Let's! Even though it will obviously be me!" Eda cackled.
Then both sisters stared at the food and rubbed their chubby hands together in joy. "Now let's eat!" They cried out in unison.
Both sisters practically jumped at the pile, attacking and eating the food at such great speed. With each bite they took they became bigger and bigger. At this point they weighed more than a large elephant.
The poor restaurant soon crashed and crumbled as it finally couldn't hold Eda and Lilith's massive expansion anymore. But Eda and Lilith didn't care at all about anything around them nor what was happening around them. The curse was more powerful than ever and all they wanted to do now was just eat and expand and be the most enormous sister.
Meanwhile while Eda and Lilith had their little contest and kept expanding, Luz was still trying to find the spell but to no avail. She eventually found the body transformation spell chapter and found its first spell.
"Oh, here it is! This should be it!" Luz stated cheerfully as she drew the circle of that spell on paper. However, Luz didn't read what that spell actually was, as she looked at the spell circle and not the words or pictures.
"Okay let's test this out!" She said. After finishing drawing the circle, she tapped it with her pen and it instantly turned into smoke, wafting outside.
"Okay, now let me read what happens after the spell is cast, oh no…." her face dropped.
Apparently what she casted wasn't a weight loss spell. According to the words and pictures, it was a weight gain spell the exact same spell Lilith and Eda used on each other.
"Ah! Why didn't I read it better!" She wailed to herself as she slapped her forehead, feeling stupid.
She eventually collected herself and took a few calming deep breaths.
"It's okay, Luz, just keep going. Pace yourself and do everything carefully. You'll find the right spell and Eda and Lilith will be cured in on time." she reassured herself out loud. "I just hope this weight gain spell I casted didn't affect anybody…."
At the blight manor, Amity Blight, a young witch with green dyed hair, yellow eyes and wearing a pink abomination track uniform, was busy reading and practicing for her abominations exam.
She was one of the top students at hexide and one of her biggest dreams was to join the emperor's coven, which was why she worked so hard in order to achieve that dream in the future.
She was just reading a book on the history of abominations when suddenly the smoke wafted into her room and she started coughing. Really loudly.
She coughed so hard that she collapsed out of her chair and fell on the floor, clutching her throat.
This instantly caught the attention of her mother, who heard her loud coughs from the hallway.
"Amity?" her mother knocked on the door to her room. "Are you okay in there?"
Amity suddenly stopped coughing and she stood up and collected herself. "Uh, yes, mother. Everything's fine. My throat must be a little scratchy."
"Okay, dear, just keep on practicing for that test," her mother reminded her. "After all, you have to work hard if you want to be successful in this family."
"Yes, mother," Amity instantly replied.
Once her mother's footsteps were far away from her room, Amity raised a curious eyebrow as she touched her throat.
"Huh, that was weird? Why did I start coughing so suddenly?" she wondered aloud.
However she soon brushed it off. Maybe it was just a fly or her own saliva getting in her throat. She decided not to waste anymore time on this stupid question.
But before Amity could turn her attention back to her studies, her belly rumbled. Very loudly.
"What?" Amity looked down at her belly and placed her hands on it, which caused it to rumble more.
"Okay this is even weirder," Amity stated, looking confused. "I just had a small salad earlier today. I can't possibly be more-"
Another loud rumble from her stomach caused Amity to surrender to its demands.
"Okay, fine, I guess I could use a bit more food," She said as she walked downstairs to the kitchen.
However, what Amity didn't know was that this little hunger she was having was only the beginning of the curse and that she would soon become an enormous, fat food obsessed blob like Lilith and Eda.
Meanwhile, Luz still had trouble finding the weight loss spell, but still carried on and read everything carefully. After all, this is for Eda and she was everyone's only hope for this to end. And she would not rest until she found the right spell.
