Sunset stretched as the girls walked to school with the addition of an alabaster white-skinned purple-haired girl with purple eyes dressed in varying shades of blue and an orenge skinned girl with blonde hair dressed in a flannel shirt and blue jeans with cowboy boots and a stetson hat.
"Are you sure you can trust what this Marie gal says sunset?" Asked Applejack who tilted her stetson around to better look at the fire-themed girl.
"I can because I noticed the way she reacted on seeing rainbow specifically her skin. She really looked surprised for some reason and almost worried about it. Plus it's been practically three days since she ended up in her situation. The fact she freaked out about it when she came to according to her fragments leads to the fact she's being honest. She's just confused about how she ended up in that situation in the first place. She also knows a lot about the Fazbear franchise which you have to admit is starting to make sense the more we locate those audio logs" sunset said.
" And did you really consider her a sister?" Asked rarity still surprised about that.
" Yeah I am she's just fifteen two years younger than us and no one should be alone like she is. Though her reactions to finding out the other animatronics in the game were sentient was justified... Mainly because they scared the heck out of her in the first-night minigame and foxy made some comments that added to the fuel of her rage. I think that was her inner rebel coming out since that had been restored to her before we started those minigames" sunset said.
" Still to have your own personality forced to split into sixteen different parts she must feel terrible about it," said rarity.
" Well, at least three out of the fifteen parts are restored to her. Her innocence or inner child, her rebellious nature and now her sense of justice shame there won't be any tapes in the next five minigames she at least knows where they are located" said sunset.
" You really care about this Marie gal," said Applejack.
" I can understand where she's coming from I was in her shoes when I arrived in this world after all though she has it worse than I did as she is stuck in a virtual world. And like she said she wants to have a life again that world is practically a prison for her and she didn't deserve that the only reason she got stuck was that she was dressed up as a character from her world which is something she can't be at fault for. She didn't expect being taken from her world and her family so I hope that if I can help her then I can prove to myself I have really changed from the bitch I was since I arrived here" sunset said.
" If you feel that strongly then we got your back though are you sure you don't mind sharing a body with her" rainbow asked.
" I really don't mind if she's in there she can help me from backsliding into the power-mad sunset I used to be a kind of safety net and conscious to let me know if I'm starting to stray" sunset admitted.
" Guess this is really nothing we can do to talk you out of it. Your mind and heart are made up. I'm sure the princess is going to be proud of you" said Applejack.
" Speaking of girls did Marie ever describe this Vanny girl I mean you hearing her as an adult but for us, she must be our age" rarity asked curiously.
" Not really I don't think even Marie knows what vanny looks like and then there is the fact Marie is missing a few of her stuff it's not fair to her," said sunset.
Before she could react she was bumped into by a brown haired teen girl with pale white skin with a brown patch around her left eye who was dressed in a Gothic outfit of a black hoodie and torn jeans with black boots. What caught sunset's attention was animatronic at her feet. One that was half-Rottweiler, half-dragon.
"Sorry about that I wasn't watching where I was going," said the teen, and sunset gave a start as younger than she last heard it that was definitely Vanny's voice.
"Same here so apology accepted. And now I know what happened to Marie's project." I said as the animatronic perked up at hearing Marie's name.
"(You know where the mistress is! I should have known as you smell a bit like my maker)" the animatronic said wagging her tail if sunset heard the tone of the voice right.
"Yeah, technically Marie is at my place she was worried when she realized you were not where she was when she woke up" sunset answered making the animatronic cheer and do a backflip.
"Sunset are you able to understand him?" Rainbow asked giving her an odd look.
" Her, the animatronic is a girl" both sunset and what she was increasingly believing is vanny both replied at the same time.
The two shared a look.
"Would your name happen to be vanny? I'm sure you have a lot of questions about the animatronic here" sunset said letting the hybrid jump into her arms.
" Yeah, how do you know my name," asked vanny.
"Would you believe me that I heard you as an adult in some audio tapes in a game that appeared in my apartment? Apparently, you went into the game development business and eventually beta tested the game. Marie is quite literally trapped in the game. It's a lot complicated... She also wanted to meet you so if you want proof we can get you into the game to meet her." Sunset said understanding how crazy it sounds.
" How did you know what my dream is! I never told anyone what I want to do with my life. Okay, I'm going to hold you to your word there because now you got me curious" vanny said wide-eyed.
" Trust me it's going to take seeing to believe. Though fair warning Marie is not exactly human anymore due to how she ended up in her situation. We kinda started a process that will allow her to share my body until we can figure out how to get her a body of her own again" said sunset.
"(That explains why you smell a bit like her your natural scent is changing to accommodate my maker!)" The animatronic said looking up at sunset.
"That makes sense" sunset agreed.
"No, really you can understand the animatronic? All I'm hearing is a strange mix between a bark and a roar" rainbow said making sunset blink in confusion.
"You mean it's not normal to hear the animatronic talk in English but only I can hear it like that?" Vanny asked confused out of her mind.
" Strange same with me there she has an Irish accent for some reason" sunset agreed with vanny looking at the animatronic.
" (Must be my voice box you lot can hear what I'm really saying but to everyone else it's the natural sounds of what composed my suit hold on one second)" the animatronic said before she opened up her chest and fiddled with something in there.
"Testing one, two. Good that works mistress is going to be happy she can properly communicate with me now!" The animatronic said as she closed her panel.
"She already could if this is something that transferred over by finding her fragmented personality in the game. We only found four of the tapes holding her fragments out of sixteen. And she can't leave her virtual prison until the entire game is beaten" sunset said.
" What do you mean fragmented" asked vanny.
" Mistress went to a convention dressed up as a variant of the old spring Bonnie animatronic she called glitchtrap for some reason. The game she's trapped in must have been the game the character came from and now she's taken the character's place. When she bought my suit and her vest we ended up here in this city separated. I was aware when my mistress bought me and before she ran into a tailor for my suit she had an in-depth debate about the Five Nights at Freddy's help wanted VR game as it's called. Apparently, glitchtrap is a viral being that latched on to your development audio logs in the game and you were forced to separate them as you couldn't delete the being as you were forced to use programming from actual Fazbear animatronic components to make the game" the animatronic said.
" Specifically from spring Bonnie itself, Marie told me about what created glitchtrap. Turns out the missing head of Afton robotics went insane after one of his kids died at the fredbear family diner during the child's birthday by getting his head crushed by the jaws of the animatronic fredbear. Years later Afton became a serial killer and well the spirits of the kids he killed went after him so he went and entered the spring Bonnie animatronic which was a hybrid suit so a person can wear it like an animatronic called a spring-lock suit. The locks fail in wet conditions so Afton died from getting crushed by the endoskeleton and was revived as a zombie animatronic after 30 years as a being called springtrap with his soul and mind deep in the coding. Somehow in the future, you get the CPU and hard drive and use those to make the game reviving Afton as a digital ghost in the code who then used the game to take over the players and start a cult of killers. From what Marie told us in the game you became one of the first because the beta testers like Jeremy died from going insane. At this point, Afton won't be found yet and won't be for six years from now. Marie and I plan on finding a way to get her into spring Bonnie first so she has a body again and prevent Afton from causing more death so I know what summer job I'm going for this year" sunset informed.
" Are you sure she won't do the same thing to you as Afton apparently will do to me?" asked vanny skeptical.
" For one Marie was scared out of her mind for two days when she found herself as glitchtrap. And found out she got split into sixteen separate personalities with her core self missing most of who she is. I met her yesterday and so far she's like my sister now. She's been helping me to clear the game so we can fix this mess. I'm even willing to share my body with her if it means getting her out of that prison she doesn't deserve" sunset said.
" You really believe that. Guess I'm meeting a person turned ai then" vanny said surprised at the determination in sunset's eyes.
"Well, that and it's definitely good we met you. We might need your help as the animatronics in the game are self-aware. We need to get their code into the real animatronics so people can be safe from getting killed by them. Especially the toy animatronic generation at the location opening up. They don't have a proper night mode so they end up killing night guards as a result" sunset said.
" And if I help you I avoid becoming an insane serial killer well I'll help if I get to hear the audio logs you found so far," vanny said.
" Then meet us at canterlot high after school and we can meet Marie." Applejack said.
" I can hook myself up to the game so mistress can reunite with me," the animatronic said from sunset's arms.
" I'll take you there after school and guess Marie didn't have time to name you before you ended up here," sunset said.
" Yes, but as Marie is my owner she's the only one able to give me a name" confirmed the half-dog half-dragon animatronic.
With that confirmed the girls went to school and sunset and the other five girls were surprised to learn vanny was also a canterlot high student who was the same age as Marie making sunset wonder how she didn't notice vanny was fifteen. Though vanny was surprised by how the students treated sunset who told vanny about her own past and that Marie was going to somewhat act as a way to not backslide into the terrible person she used to be. After school, the seven girls and one animatronic headed to sunset's place to see Marie and prepare for meeting the toy animatronics.
