At Columbia University, Dr. Connors and other professors were having a meeting on the arm growing antidote in the lab. While the professors say that they should not bother researching for new ways to grow back arms and legs, Connors argues that it can work again but differently.
"Any new ingredients to the antidote won't even work Connors" a professor says. "It might but I can't seem to find any other ingredients to the antidote. I guess I'll just have to try this again and see if it will work this time" Dr. Connors says. As Dr. Connors is about to inject himself again with the antidote the professors yell, "Curt no!" After injecting himself with the antidote, he begins to transform himself into the lizard again along with growing his right arm again. He screams in pain as he is transforming. The professors run out of the laboratory and he becomes the lizard again as soon as they leave. He growls louder than ever before and runs out of the lab and into the city.
As soon as Peter and Mary Jane make it back to their apartment from the taxi cab, Spider-Man hears screams and growls close to where they are. He rushes in their apartment and puts on his Spider-Man suit. "Go get em tiger" Mary Jane says before kissing him. He takes off in a web sling and to where the lizard currently is.
The Lizard is in the middle of a street again destroying cars and trying to run from the police who are trying to shoot him. Spider-Man makes it to the scene and tries to stop him. "Back again aren't you giant reptile?" Spider-Man asks. "Oh I'm back alright. Back to reck havoc on this city and you!" Lizard yells. Spider-Man and Lizard then fight. He tries to attack him from behind but he uses his tail to throw him on the wall of a building. Lizard then heads down to the sewer and Spider-Man gets ready to go down there until Black Cat shows up. "Wait for me now" Black Cat says. "Cat. Didn't expect to see you" Spider-Man says. "You will be expecting me to help you out now" Black Cat says. They jump down to the sewer to track down Lizard.
"Ew this is gross" Black Cat says. "It's the only option for now to find Lizard" Spider-Man says. After a long hour of trying to find the lizard in the sewer, they finally hear a talking sound so they look below from above and find the lizard. "My new home. Just need to lay low down here for a while and find another way to keep my right arm for good and turn back into my human self" Lizard says. Spider-Man swings from where he's looking at and The Lizard looks over and sees nothing. "I know you're here Spider-Man. Come out wherever you are" Lizard says. Spider-Man swings from behind him and knocks him down. "Calm down Dr. Connors, we need to get you back to…" Spider-Man says before being attacked by him. "No I don't need your help. I can find something else to help me!" Lizard shouts. Lizard grabs Spider-Man and tries to strangle him. "Now you will be squashed to death!" Lizard shouts. Black Cat hits him in the head with a pipe from above. She jumps down and lands from behind him then kicks him in the back. She jumps to in front of him and kicks & punches him to the sewer water. "He's down" Black Cat says.
Lizard jumps right up and makes it back with Spider-Man and Black Cat dodging. Spider-Man throws web balls at him and Black Cat throws metal balls at him but they don't work. Lizard runs towards them but they dodge again. Black Cat uses her knife and stabs it on Lizard's tail; he screams loudly. Spider-Man punches him in the stomach and knees him in the chin. They both punch and kick him to the water but Lizard runs to another sewer pipe. "I don't really want to go after him again" Black Cat says. "Neither do I. Let's go home and get some rest" Spider-Man says as they leave the sewer.
