I do not own any of these characters.
(Four years later...)
It was a late Thursday afternoon Ferb came home after a long and exhausting day of being the new innovator of Danville. He started a small business with his brother shortly after his son Reggie was born. Both Phineas and Ferb were the new innovators of Danville, leading the town to a bright new future.
With all the money he made, Ferb was able to purchase a small but luxurious new house for him, his wife Vanessa, and his four-year-old son, Reggie.
Shortly after Reggie's 2nd birthday, Phineas proposed to Isabella. They had their wedding and it didn't take long before Phineas made arrangements for him and his new wife to move to the same neighborhood as his brother and sister-in-law.
It was a beautiful afternoon, Ferb could breathe in the fresh air as he opened the gate leading towards the front door. He decided to take his four-year-old son to the park that day since he felt that it was wrong for Reggie to be cooped up in the house all day. The kid needs some fresh air.
Speaking of which, as Ferb was approaching the house, he could see his little four-year-old peeking from the windows. Ferb absolutely loved how his son is able to greet him every day when he comes home from work. Ferb smiled and waved before his son disappeared from the window. Then, the front door swung open. Reggie ran as fast as his little legs would take him and launched himself into his dad's arms. Ferb laughed as he picked Reggie up and held onto him tight. Reggie buried his head on his dad's shoulder.
Once Ferb pulled away from the hug, he smiled wide at his son. "How are you, old chap? How's Reggie today?"
Reggie smiled back. "I'm good, daddy."
Ferb cooed he laid a multitude of kisses on Reggie's left cheek. He patted his thick emerald hair and walked back into the house with his son still in his arms. He called out for his wife.
"Vanessa, are you home?"
"I'm in my office!" Vanessa called. After graduating from Danville University, she applied for a job as a stay-at-home accountant. Being at home can be relaxing, but that's not the best part. The best is to see her baby boy grow with each passing day.
Ferb walked upstairs with his son and into Vanessa's office. She was on her laptop but turned and smiled wide at her husband. Ferb walked over and leaned to give Vanessa a kiss on the lips.
"How was your day?" Vanessa asked eagerly.
Ferb sighed. Vanessa raised an eyebrow. "What, you think you have a rough? I have all of these financial documents to deal with. Plus, you have this little rugrat driving me crazy all day." She was referring to Reggie blushed while holding onto his dad tightly.
Ferb frowned. "I was thinking of taking the three of us over to the park today."
Vanessa sighed. "I'm sorry babe. But you can just take Reggie." She turned to her son and giggled. "He was a little scamp today, as what you British folks would call him.
Ferb smiled and looked down at his son. "He was, was he?"
"Yeah. Anyway, just take him out. Besides, he needs fresh air. You guys have fun!"
"Will do, love!"
Vanessa turned back to her son and wagged her finger at him. "You better behave for your father. You hear me, young man.?"
Reggie nodded with an eager smile, which good him a kiss on the cheek from his mom. "Good boy. See ya, guys." She turned back to her computer trying to get all of her documents in order.
As Ferb left the house, he went to his car and buckled his son up in his car seat in the back. He then hopped into the driver's seat and drove off.
As he was driving, Ferb looked at the rearview mirror and can catch a glimpse of his son wiggling in excitement. He chuckled and wondered to himself. How did he get so lucky? He has a beautiful wife, living in a beautiful home near his amazing brother, along with their lifelong best friend. And now, here is his baby boy, as happy as ever.
Words couldn't describe the love Ferb had for his son. Reggie was worth every exhausting hour of work Ferb endured. He would always come home beat to death from his job, and would always be greeted by either Vanessa or his beloved son. Every time Ferb would have a bad day, Reggie would always brighten it up with his energy and laughter.
"Daddy, I'm hungry." His son said from the backseat.
Ferb narrowed his eyes. "You didn't anything at home."
"Mommy tried to feed me veggies. Yuck!"
Ferb sighed and chuckled. Yup, Reggie is definitely a Fletcher. Ferb whenever he was a toddler, his stepmother would always try to feed both him and Phineas with Brussel sprouts and broccoli, and they would always work together to avoid eating them.
"How about I get you some apple pie from the market? How does that sound?"
"Yaaaay!"
Ferb cooed again at his ecstatic little boy. He looked at the rearview mirror one more time and spoke. "Y'know, I love you, son, right?"
Reggie looked up and smiled. "I love you too, daddy."
Ferb parked his car in the parking lot of the local market. Ferb exited the car and came around to unbuckle Reggie from his son. He lifted Reggie up and hugged him tightly. Ruffling his hair and rubbing his back.
"I mean it Reggie, old chap. Daddy loves you so much. You mean everything to both me and your mother. You make us so happy and we thank god every day for having you as our son"
Reggie hugged his father tightly as Ferb continued.
"You are my boy, Reggie. No matter how old you get. You will always be my little boy."
After which, Ferb closed the back door and entered the market with his son, completely unaware of the pair of evil eyes watching him from afar. Those eyes were full of vengeance for what Ferb had stolen from him a long time ago.
Enjoy the beautiful life you have, Ferb Fletcher. The mysterious man thought. Because it won't last for long.
