After he had closed the door, Blu put the key with which he closed the door on the desk where the computer was located. He also looked out the window for a moment. There was a strong blizzard, a whiff of wind could be heard through the doors and windows.

"It is good that I just woke up... If it wasn't for that, Jewel could have died," thought Blu, imagining the situation, what would have happened had he not woken up.

"It's a good thing I reminded him, I wonder if he's asleep." Blu walked away from the window to go to the living room, take care of Jewel. When he entered the living room, he noticed her already asleep. She put her wings under her head and fell asleep.

"A good rest will do her good," Blu said when approaching her. There was still some fire in the fireplace, so Blu decided he didn't have to put it on for a while. He sat next to her and stared at the sparkling flames. He took his mug of chocolate to his wings and slowly slurped a warm, no longer hot drink from time to time. Once he had drunk all the chocolate, he got up to put into the oven 2 pieces of wood that were lying next to him. Then he turned around and stared at Jewel. It was still a little pale, but not like before. Blu put a wing to her forehead to check her temperature.

"It's much better. A couple of days and you'll be fine," thought Blu, correcting the cover she was wearing wrapped around her torso.

"Sleep well... I'll take care of you," sang Blu sighing, and then he focused again on the burning fire. He sat the rest of the night in silence, putting it in the oven every 30 minutes to keep it warm. In the meantime, not to be bored, he decided to read a book.

"I can actually read something about myself" thought Blu. He went down to the library and took to his wings the book, which he showed on the last day for Jewel. He opened it to the right page and started reading it.

"The species is practically extinct in the wild..." at some point he managed to read Blu.

"The last specimen he met in the wild in 2000".

Blu put the book down in order to put another one on the logs.

"Ugh, what happened that our species is in such a situation", Blu thought, and then turned the page over and got the answer to his question.

"The main reason for the decline in population was hunting and poaching."

Blu sighed heavily. He closed the heavy one and threw it aside.

"Not every man is so..." thought the worried Blu. He took the book and marched downstairs to put the book down. Then he took Deliaktnie Jewel on his shoulders and went out with her to take her to his cage.

"He doesn't want Linda to find out about this incident. I don't want to stress her out," thought Blu. When they got to Jewel's room, he put her in his cage in a wrapped cover. This time he put the material on the cage and stretched the material so that the light didn't come in.

"It's for safety...good night, Jewel. " he wiped Blu back out feeling negative emotions. He went downstairs to watch the cooker. He waited for him to turn himself off. When it happened, he cleaned the living room as quietly as he could. When he had done his job, he took a look at the clock. His face was numb when he saw the hour.

"3.30a.m." he wiped out Blu.

"I'll sleep until noon!" sighing spix Macaw, then he went down the stairs to his cage. When he was comfortable in it, he went down to sleep. Tired of the experiences of the last hours, he fell asleep.

It is another day in Minnesota. It was an exceptionally cold morning, even though the blizzard was no longer dangerous. At 7.15a.m Linda got up on her feet at 7.15a.m in order to prepare for work.

"For a few days now Blu has not woken me up... The girl is messing with his head," thought Linda, wondering why Blu is not visiting her in the morning. When she put her slippers on her feet, she noticed that one of the shelves in the chest of drawers was pushed back. She approached her and closed it. Then she went to the room where Jewel slept to see if she was at home. Seeing the covered cage, she thought it was in place. Then she went to the kitchen to have breakfast. Then Blu woke up from sleep and slept badly last night. Because of this, he did not sleep as long as he expected. He opened the cage and went upstairs to have breakfast.

"Good morning Blu!" was greeted by Linda, giving him toast. Blu looked at him and slowly started eating it. Linda quickly drew attention to his bags under his eyes.

"I see you slept badly," Linda noticed. Blu nodded with a head movement. Again he had a strange dream that he was in the jungle, he was dreaming of poachers. Again, he dreamt that he fell from a tree. When she finished breakfast, the woman went downstairs to open the library. Blu was left alone, consuming toast.

"At least Linda forgot her vitamins." Blu sighed. He looked in the hallway. He thought of Jewel, to whom he still had a grudge.

He turned to go down to Linda.

"Aren't you going to Jewel?" asked the woman, seeing the bird.

"Not this time" thought Blu. He took the newspaper that was on his desk and locked himself in a cage.

"She will come out by herself if she wants to, she knows how," thought Blu starting to read the newspaper. He turned over to the front page, where mainly there were some offers to buy some items, at attractively low prices.

"If I could, I would buy something to try it out." thought Blu. He continued to find a sports review. It was a summary of the week in the sports world.

"Hm, maybe this year, in 2011, McLaren will outdo Redbull and beat Sebastian Vettel. Let's hope Button gets a grip on himself. I'm curious to see how the KERS and DRS system will affect the competition. Blu, after a brief reflection on the Formula 1 stakes, turned the page further down where the weather forecast was.

"It is always either sunny or snowing..." Blu thought when looking at the window. The current weather was sunny, surprising, and at night there was a sharp snowstorm. Blu turned the pages over to find some interesting natural themes. They were about desert animals. He read in such a way that when he felt a touch on his shoulder he jumped a little bit out of fear. He turned around and saw Jewel, who had her head bent over.

"I would like to thank you and apologize..." started Jewel. Blu did not speak, she thought it was a signal to continue.

"I would like to thank you for taking care of me like this... I don't know what suddenly broke my mind to run away... And that is what I want to apologise for, I lied to you and I am very sorry..."

Blu didn't say anything, but his face betrayed that he was happy with those words.

"That's all right" said Blu.

"Then maybe we can do something..." proposed Jewel. Blu already wanted to propose something when Tulio paid them a visit.
