The group soon found themselves in a high tech room of sorts as Mari scanned the area.
"It looks like we're on a warship, everyone." Mari said.
"Then I think we have a good hint of what Mikhail signifies here." Zamazenta said.
"Yes. It's pretty obvious he signifies war." Cheetah said.
"Da, you are correct Fraulein." A voice said as the group turned to see a large man in an orange jumpsuit with blue cybernetics formed on the back of his head. "You almost disrupted a very important mission. Luckily, I succeeded, and now you are too late, Apocalypse's plans are in motion."
"Mikhail, you must stop this, brother. It does not have to be this way!" Colossus said.
"Colossus, he is one of the Four Horsemen. We have no choice but to fight him." Cheetah said.
"Da, I understand." Colossus said. "Forgive me, brother."
"Come, wield your anger and crush me, I welcome it!" Mikhail said before forming multiple clones of himself.
"Here we go!" Belladonna said, charging at Mikhail.
"Angel Feather!" Ace called, as small white feathers washed over everyone, raising their strength, magic, and defense.
"Here I come!" Zamazenta said as his claw glowed and slashed at Mikhail.
"Be engulfed in a furious storm." Spade said, as Tyrfing was turned into wind. "Cyclone!" he called as multiple waves of wind sliced through Mikhail before reverting to Tyrfing.
"Don't hold back!" Duran said, swinging his sword overhead and launching waves of energy in a straight line. "Hollow Slash!"
"That was fun! But let us switch to something a little more..entertaining." Mikhail said, transporting them to a different room and activating a four layered shield as he transformed the four control stations into soldiers.
"You're making it too easy." Bloodless said, defeating one of the soldiers on a platform as it reverted into a control station, shutting down the first shield layer.
Poison Ivy wrapped her vines around another one, while Toya and George got to work on the other two.
All four shields were soon disabled as Mikhail warped them back to the previous room as the group had him surrounded.
"End of the line, Mikhail. Give it up." Zamazenta said.
"I am a Horseman of Apocalypse, as long I'm still standing, I will not fall!" Mikhail said, charging at the group.
"Your loss." Zamazenta said as he and Cheetah both charged at Mikhail. Cheetah slices him up multiple times before she joins Zamazenta in a charge attack, striking him simultaneously.
"How could this have happened?!" Mikhail said before collapsing to the ground.
"Another Horseman bites the dust." Kaguya said.
"Yep. Two down." Belladonna said.
"Now, let's find Beast." Al said as the group pressed on and found Beast in a gas chamber as Mari quickly destroyed the control panel, shutting it down as Beast soon stepped out of it.
"Are you alright?" Cheetah asked.
"Yes… Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." Beast said.
"Blink, can you open a portal for us back to Avalon?" Tear asked.
"Sure, just wait a minute and the portal will be there. Professor Xavier's really relieved to hear Beast is fine. Be sure to talk to the Professor when you get back. He wants to congratulate you." Blink said as a portal soon appeared.
"Come on, let's get you out of here." Miriam said, helping Beast as the group stepped through the portal.
