Night time came around. The gang continued walking while following Bokomon and Neemon behind walking up on a rocky hill heading towards the two Ancient Spirit's. They have time to get at least for the night but J.P. is bummed out that he can't try out his Ancient Spirit but Takuya gets to even if they ran up to a another new enemy "How far is it?" Tommy asked
"It's not that far but a little bit more time" Bokomon replied
It was a moment of silence since no one's hardly talking while there's cricket's chirping away but it was bugging Takuya out that everybody's quite tonight so he thought he'll start some random conversation "So. Zephyr? Why did you chose BurningGreymon to be your love life instead of the other Warrior or Beast Spirit's?" Takuya asked
It was a great question that Takuya asked as the boy's also wondered even Neemon except for Bokomon who's focusing leading the way while Zephyr blushing not knowing why she chose BurningGreymon but she just did "Well the reason I chose BurningGreymon was because he's so protective over me then the other Beast Spirit's even if the Beast Spirit's wasn't so protective over me but BurningGreymon was always there for me protecting but that's when I knew we had a special bond together" Zephyr replied
"But why did... You know... Chose a Dragon type Digimon like BurningGreymon instead of a human type Digimon?" J.P. asked
"Well because human type Digimon's didn't really interested me and I know it sounds weird but I'm not like Angemon or a Ranamon always going after" Zephyr replied
"Tch, what Digimon even want you anyways?" Ranamon asked
Zephyr looked at Ranamon to her left and gritted her teeth in angered while shaking wanted to the hell out of Ranamon's face "IF YOU DON'T SHUT THE..."
"IT'S ENOUGH!" Zephyr left unspoken when Takuya yelled telling them to stop as he's tired of the girl's always fighting and they been like this ever since they left Rana's Sparkling Village and stopped for a lunch break "Ranamon! Can you please don't start ever again?!" Takuya asked
Ranamon crossed her arms and pouted "I'm doing it because I chose too and besides Takuya I'll do it again even if you told me not too" Ranamon replied
"BurningGreymon wants me first of all and if you didn't know Ranamon. BurningGreymon and me already have a thing together plus we love each other very much" Zephyr replied
Ranamon wide eyed and quickly looked at Zephyr "Your lying. Right?!" Ranamon asked
"Nope and BurningGreymon even tried to have his way with me today also" Zoe replied
Ranamon crossed her arms and closed her eyes "Well you must be a lucky girl after all. By the way since nobody didn't answered my question back there, what happened to that bra... I mean Zoe?" Ranamon asked
Ranamon looked at Takuya "Zoe? Well we was going against this Digimon bad guy we never seen before and his name was Mistymon. He thought it was a great to turned Zephyrmon into a human teenager by using Zoe's body just so Mistymon's Master Belphemon can easily eliminate us real easy without Zoe's help" Takuya replied
"Wow that's harsh. But how come he need to turn Zephyrmon into a human teenager to not get easily defeated even if he don't have the Ancient Spirit's?" Ranamon asked
The gang doesn't even know either but Takuya just guess on his theory "Well that's my theory to be honest and I might be wrong but he probably done it to be a jerk knowing we don't know anybody to help" Takuya replied
-10 Minutes Later-
The gang made it to the cave but it kinda looked scary as it's nothing but plain darkness in the cave hearing water dripping to the ground "Boy it looks scary. Don't you think guy's?" Tommy asked
"True but we need to get in there before a Digimon shows up in front of us once again" J.P. replied
The gang started heading towards the cave until they stopped in their tracks immediately after black smoke started appearing around them "W-What's going on?!" Ranamon asked
"Hey guy's, I gotta take a break for a minute to use it. Be back any minute" Koichi said
"Alright but be back quickly so you don't be out by yourself too long out here" Koichi understand Koji and started heading towards somewhere else to use the bathroom leaving the gang alone until a creepy laugh was heard around them causing them looking around as the black smoke started appearing more covering the entire area with black smoke "Jesus. What was that creepy laugh?" Zephyr asked
"I don't know but who ever it is, is here for the two Ancient Spirit's and better stay in the black smoke so we don't lose each other because we don't know what's out here with us" Takuya replied
Out of nowhere something passed by quickly and scratched J.P. across his chest through the black smoke causing J.P. screaming in pain alerting everybody "J.P. ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" Takuya asked
J.P. opened his eyes slightly then looked down to see a long blade scratch mark across his chest as it looked something moved fast and sliced him as J.P. quickly grabbed out his D-Tector "WE'RE NOT ALONE THAT'S WHAT!" J.P. replied
Everybody else took out their D-Tector's and now hearing more creepy laughing then started hearing something running passed by them quickly through the black smoke causing them started looking around "Damn it! What is it?!" Koji asked
"I don't know but we better keep our guards up" Bokomon replied
A dark figure appeared behind Zephyy staring at her with it's creepy devil looking red eyes then grabbed and pulled her back quickly causing her screaming in horror "ZEPHYR!" Takuya ran out the black smoke and doesn't see Zephyr anywhere with everybody else "WHERE DID SHE GO?!" J.P. asked
"We don't know J.P. and I'm thinking the same thing" Koichi replied
Another evil laugh was heard causing everybody turned around quickly and looked up to see another creepy and evil looking Digimon up top of the cave with his left arm wrapped around Zephyrmon chest with his right chopstick around her neck causing Zephyr shaking in fear with tears rolling down her cheeks which really pissed Takuya off "WHO ARE YOU?!" Takuya asked
"I'm Aegiochusmon Dark and I'm here for the Ancient Spirit's of what my Master gave me orders to steal from you brats!" Aegiochusmon Dark replied
Takuya growled in angered and raised his D-Tector "ALRIGHT GUY'S LET'S..."
"Hold up Takuya!" Takuya looked to his left at Koji "What? What is it now Koji?" Takuya asked
"Let us handle this and go get the other two Ancient Spirit's before this clown does or there might be somebody already in their trying to get it. We're get Zephyr back safely" Koji replied
Takuya looked back at Zephyr who looked scared as hell then looked back at Koji "Right, I'll be back any minute. Ranamon, Bokomon and Neemon let's go!" Takuya looked back at Aegiochusmon Dark "I swear when I come back with AncientGreymon you'll be so sorry!" Takuya warned
Aegiochusmon Dark started laughing creepiness as Takuya growled then started running into the cave with Ranamon, Bokomon and Neemon leaving the boy's alone with Aegiochusmon "So. Who wants to be the first one to get slaughtered into pieces with your blood everywhere?!" Aegiochusmon Dark asked
Koichi came back but quickly stopped din his tracks immediately and hid a huge rock then took a peak to see Koji, J.P. and Tommy with their D-Tector's out but looked up to see Aegiochusmon haves Zephyr in his arm with a blade against her neck "Oh no! Zeohyr's in trouble, I gotta do something" Koichi thought
Koichi started thinking for a minute to come up of how to help Zephyr until he looked to his right to see he can climb up top of the cave and surprised a attack on Aegiochusmon Dark but would risk it to try to save Zeohyr's life. Koichi started climbing on top of cave which Koji noticed Koichi was climbing on the side of the cave to try and saved Zephyr "What's he doing?!" Koji thought
Aegiochusmon Dark noticed Koichi wasn't with them but curious where he is "HEY! WHERE'S THAT ONE KID WITH THE DARK LEGENDARY WARRIOR?!" Aegiochusmon asked
Koichi finally made it to the top and grabbed out his D-Tector "Let's do this!" Koichi thought
"ULTIMATE EXECUTE!"
"ANCIENT SPIRIT EVOLUTION!"
"ANCIENTSPHINXMON!"
Aegiochusmon Dark quickly turned around and was pushed off the top of the cave letting Zephyr go after being pushed by a Ancient Warrior and hit the ground hard with AncientSphinxmon on top of him "GET OFF OF ME YOU PATHETIC CREATURE!" Aegiochusmon Dark sliced AncientSphinxmon across the chest causing him flew back and hit the cave wall then hit the ground in pain "KOICHI!" Koji yelled
Aegiochusmon Dark looked back at Koji who looked pissed after injured his brother causing Aegiochusmon laughing evily "That's it! Your done!" Koji threatened
"EXECUTE!"
"BEAST SPIRIT EVOLUTION!"
"METALKABUTERIMON!"
"KORIKAKUMON!"
MetalKabuterimon and Korikoakamon appeared on the field as a huge blue light appeared around Koji.
"ULTIMATE EXECUTE!"
"ANCIENT SPIRIT EVOLUTION!"
"ANCIENTGARURUMON!"
Meanwhile for Takuya, Ranamon, Bokomon and Neemon. The gang continued running and just kept running wherever the cave leads them until they saw a light at the end of tunnel "THERE IT IS!" Takuya yelled
Takuya, Ranamon, Bokomon and Neemon made it and saw AncientGreymon and AncientWisemon floating in the air with a bright light around them "That's them alright!" Takuya brought out his D-Tector and pointed his D-Tector at the two Ancient Spirit's then sucked them into his D-Tector "You did it Takuya!" Bokomon cheered
Takuya looked at his D-Tector screen and saw the two Ancient Spirit's on his screen until the cave started shaking as the trial from the entrance started crumbling down creating a huge hole entrance causing Takuya, Ranamon, Bokomon and Neemon turned aorund quickly seeing trial crumbling heading towarss them "WHAT DO WE DO?!" Neemon asked
Everybidy started getting until Takuya noticed a bright red light on his right hand then looked down to see more then 50 red datas spinning around his hand like crazy knowing AncientGreymon is ready to be use "It's go time that's what!" Takuya replied
"ULTIMATE EXECUTE!"
"ANCIENT SPIRIT EVOLUTION!"
A huge red light appeared around Takuya as Ranamon, Bokomon and Neemon looked and could heard Takuya screaming in pain while hearing a Dragon roaring at the same time knowing it's AncientGreymon.
"ANCIENTGREYMON!"
AncientGreymon appeared on the ground which surprised Ranamon since she never saw a Ancient Warrior in front of her before "HOP ON!" Ranamon, Bokomon and Neemon quickly jumped on AncientGreymon!'s back as AncientGreymon flew away quickly heading towards the exit on time as the ground crumbled down.
"SHARP CLAYMORE!" AncientGarurumon brandishes his two greatswords with a dazzling radiance and ran over heading towards Aegiochusmon Dark "I DON'T THINK SO HUMAN!" Aegiochusmon Dark threw down a black smoke power causing AncientGarurumon stopped in his tracks immediately "Where did he go?!" AncientGarurumon asked
MetalKabuterimon heard Aegiochusmon Dark crept laugh then looked left to see Aegiochusmon Dark still laughing playing games with them which caused MetalKabuterimon looked pissed "THERE'S NO PLAYING GAMES AROUND HERE BUD! ULTIMATE THUNDER!" MetalKabuterimon collected and fired all of his from both of his arms but Aegiochusmon dodged the attack from the explosion.
Zephyr felt helpless as all she can do is watch Koji, Koichi, J.P. Tommy from the top of the cave while fighting Aegiochusmon Dark "What can I do? I feel helpless to them!" Zephyr thought
Out of nowhere AncientGreymon flew out of the cave and landed next to AncientGarurumon on his left side as Ranamon, Bokomon and Neemon jumped off "AncientGarurumon? Is that BurningGreymon's Ancient Ancestor?" Zephyr thought
AncientGarurumon, AncientSphinxmon, MetalKabuterimon and Korikakumon looked to see Takuya finally got his Ancient Spirit which means he even haves AncientWisemon "You finally got your Ancient Spirit and the AncientWisemon Spirit?" AncientGarurumon asked
AncientGreymon looked to his right at AncientGarurumon "Yes and I gotta say I'm actually controlling it very well" AncientGreymon replied
Aegiochusmon Dark appeared in front of them causing them to looked back at him "Don't think you can go anywhere else punk! Me and you got some business to take care of Aegiochusmon Dark!" AncientGreymon started running towards him as Fire started appearing around AncientGreymon "GAIA TORNA..." AncientGreymon left unspoken when he stopped running feeling pain in him causing him screaming in pain which got everybody confused what's going on with him "ANCIENTGREYMON WHAT'S WRONG?!" AncientGarurumon asked
AncientGreymon started shaking feeling the pain but doesn't know what's going on even Takuya doesn't know hat either "What's wrong with me? Why is this now happening with me?!" Takuya thought
"I-I... Don't... Know AncientGarurumon!" AncientGreymon replied
"It looks like Takuya can't control the Ancient Spirit for some reason" Bokomon said
Aegiochusmon Dark started laughing "Ha! It looks like your pathetic human friend can't control his Ancient Spirit, I'll take care of that. PLASMADNESS!" Aegiochusmon Dark charges Dark electricity in both it's hands and shot straight at AncientGreymon causing him screaming more in pain "Takuya is in trouble! Draining Rai..."
"No Ranamon, you'll make it even more worst!" AncientGarurumon telling Ranamon it wasn't a great idea to help AncientGreymon to wash away the electricity since it'll make it worst which Ranamon blushed din embarrassment "Oh. Sorry" Ranamon apologized
Aegiochusmon Dark chuckled "Well. Let's play hide and seek to see who'll find the boogy man" black smoke started covering the whole area around the location as Aegiochusmon Dark banished into the black smoke in front of them "Where did he go?!" MetalKabuterimon asked
"I don't know but I don't like this" AncientGarurumon replied
The gang started keeping their heads up listening very carefully for Aegiochusmon Dark until AncientGarurumon could hear Aegiochusmon Dark movements in the black smoke around them hearing his evil chuckling and blades "What is it AncientGarurumon?" Korikakumon asked
"He's close. I can hear him" AncientGarurumon replied
AncientGarurumon continued hearing carefully for Aegiochusmon Dark until he jumped in the air with his chopsticks raised in the air ready to sliced AncientGarurumon until he noticed him in the air "ABSOLUTEL ZERO!" AncientGarurumon shot a blue ball from his mouth and froze Aegiochusmon Dark hitting the ground still frozing "NOW KORIKAKUMON!" AncientGarurumon yelled
"Right. AVALANCHE THROW!" Korikakumon threw his Eji and his Oji axes at Aegiochusmon Dark causing him screaming in pain until his body turned black with his data started spinning around his body.
AncientGarurumon jumped over in front of Aegiochusmon Dark and grabbed out his D-Tector then started sucking in his data into his data until there was nothing left as the black smoke faded away.
Koji, Koichi, J.P. and Tommy turned back to normal as they saw AncientGreymon laying on the ground as the electricity stopped but AncientGreymon looked hurt "Takuya!" Koji worried
The gang ran up to AncientGreymon as Zephyr jumped down and ran up to him as well then got on her knees started shaking him "AncientGreymon! Wake up!" Zephyr begged
Zephyr continued shaking AncientGreymon until he started opening his eyes slowly which caused Zephyr to looked happy that he's finally alright "AncientGreymon. Your alive!" Zephyr said
AncientGreymon started getting back up on his feet while still in pain until he turned back into Takuya "Takuya. Are you alright?" Koji asked
Takuya turned around "Huh? I-I'm fine but... I just need to relax for a minute" Takuya replied
Takuya walked dover to a nearby rock and sat on it feeling tired and exhausted from the battle but mostly felt pain "Takuya. You don't look alright and besides your probably still in pain from Aegiochusmon Dark's powers" Koji said
"So. Are we gonna camp here tonight?" Tommy asked
"I guess we Tommy since we're all tired and already got AncientGreymon and AncientWisemon Spirit's so let's call it a night" Bokomon replied
-Hour Later-
The gang sitting criss cross around a fire pit as the fire crackling while everybody eating fruits meats which Koji and Koichi found for them since Takuya was still injured from the battle "It don't make sense. How come Takuya can't control his Ancient Spirit?" Tommy asked
It was a great question that Tommy asked as everybody stopped eating for a minute to stsrt thinking for a minute except for Ranamon and Zephyr who still eating "That's a good question Tommy. I don't know but there could be a reason why Takuya couldn't" Bokomon replied
"True but how can you say only Takuya can't control his Ancient Spirit if we don't know if J.P. and Tommy can't either?" Koji asked
"I don't know but... I just have a feeling that just Takuya can't control his Ancient Spirit for some reason" Bokomon replied
It didn't made sense for Bokomon to say that but Bokomon might be on to something that Bokomon could be knowing what he's talking about "Huh? What are you talking about?" Tommy asked
"What I'm saying Tommy is that the Ancient Spirit's can only be controlled if you... That's it!" Bokomon quickly grabbed out his book and started flipping page to page quickly to look for the answer "What are you doing Bokomon?" Neemon asked
"I might find the answer of why Takuya couldn't control his Ancient Spirit" Bokomon replied
Bokomon continued flipping page to page until he found the answer "I can't believe it. The reason Takuya couldn't control his Ancient Spirit it because it depends what mood he was in" Bokomon said
"What? What does that have to do with Takuya not controlling his Ancient Spirit?" J.P. asked
"Well according to the book, it says that if your depressed or sad then you'll not able control your Ancient Spirit at all because the Ancient Spirit feels the same emotion like how you'll feel" Bokomon replied
Zephyr stopped eating and looked at Takuya to her left as Ranamon looked to her left at Takuya wondering what Bokomon is talking about is true "Takuya? Are you depressed or sad?" Zephyr asked
Takuya frowned and looked at the fruit meat in his hands as he didn't wanna talk about it as he got a reason why he's depressed and sad lately even he showed happy moods in front of them but deep down inside he feels depressed and sad for a reason "I don't wanna talk about it Zephyr" Takuya replied
"But Takuya. We're your friends and if you wanna talk about it then..."
"I said I don't wanna talk about J.P.!" J.P. Left unspoken when Takuya snapped for some reason for not wanna talk about it as Takuya continued eating his fruit meat. Ranamon knew there was something that Takuya didn't wanna talk about something but she thought she'll change the subject so the guy's can leave him alone and don't bothered asking him "Ok... Have you guy's captured a Ancient Warrior that's based on my type of species?" Ranamon asked
"Well yes and it's Mermaimon if you didn't know" Bokomon replied
"Oh boy. Can I see it?" Ranamon asked
Zephyr looked at Ranamon and glared "No you can't!" Zephyr replied
"Oh shut it brat and besides it's not your D-Tector anyways. It's Zoe's after all and I'm sure she'll be alright with me holding it" Ranamon said
Zoe didn't looked happy as she just glared at Ranamon with her arms crossed "Like I would ever let your grubby little hands touch my D-Tector" Zeo thought
Zephyr growled in angered as the guy's looked at Takuya who stopped eating and took out Zoe's D-Tector out of his left pocket then gave it to Ranamon since the guy's trust Ranamon after all since she changed a lot after all "Yeah. Here" Takuya replied
Takuya brought out Zoe's D-Tector and handed it to Ranamon who started going through it and saw her Ancient Ancestor AncientMermaimon "AncientMermaimon? I'm surprised I even got a Ancient Spirit" Ranamon said
Zephyr crossed her arms "Yeah but that doesn't mean you can use it" Zephyr said
Ranamon glared at Zephyr "Shut it you stupid tramp!" Ranamon said
Zephyr looked pissed and quickly got up walking towards Ranamon to slap the hell out of her but Takuya quickly got up and hold Zephyr back "Give it a break Zephyr. Just let it go" Takuya said
Zephyr looked at Takuya then back at Ranamon "Your lucky the boy's are here because if they wasn't then you'll be dead by now!" Zephyr threatened
Zephyr sit back down as Ranamon stick her tongue out at her which pissed Zephyr off again "How come these two HATE each other so much?!" Koichi asked
Koichi never understand why Zephyr and Ranamon hates each other so much but it could be because they're both female Digimon's "I don't know but they just do. Definitely Zoe" Koji replied
