Raven: The Ice Queen.
Day 10.
Raven stood in front of the camp as he watched the 14 remaining warriors prepare themselves for today's trials.
" Last time, the polar bears begin their first challenge without Jason, the riddle path, and they have successfully answered the riddle correctly and earned four crystals, bringing their total to 25, the seals also did an outstanding job in the maze, collected all four crystals, bringing their total to 34, the wolves collected 3 crystals in archery, bringing their total to 17, and the Penguins collected all four crystals in the stepping stones, however, Jeanie had tread on the cursed ground and perished, and as she could only be brought back once, she was gone for good, the team continue without her with a total of 26 crystals, only six more days until the portal appears, and after losing two warriors the past two days, if we lose two warriors per day from now on, we won't succeed in the quest", said Raven.
Day 10.
Team: Penguins.
Color: Blue
Members: 3.
Leader: Isabel.
Vice Leader: Dominic
Other: Bridget.
Crystals: 26.
Challenge: Memory game.
Isabel, Dominic and Bridget stood next to a merchant stall, with a curtain covering the inside of the stall, with them is a lonely merchant.
Raven the approached them.
" Warriors, welcome to your next challenge, a challenge that requires full concentration and a good memory, in a moment, the curtain for the stall will open, but only for a few seconds, what you need to do is memorize what you see in the stall, once the curtain closes, the merchant will ask you four questions, for each Question you answer correctly, you'll be rewarded with a crystal", said Raven.
Once he left the group, the merchant opened the curtain revealing the items.
A purple frog with polka dots, a blue fish with stripes, a gold eagle with o marks, a green alligator with zigzags, an orange monkey blank, and a red kangaroo with x marks.
After a few seconds, the curtains closed, and the challenge began.
Day 10
Team: Polar Bears
Color: White.
Members: 3
Leader: Bethany.
Vice Leader: Michael.
Revived: Ben.
Crystals: 25.
Challenge: Catapults.
Bethany, Michael and Ben stood next to a catapult, among them are four pedestals with a vase on each pedestals.
Raven approached them.
" Warriors, this challenge requires a lot of traits involving teamwork, this is the catapults, in each vase is a crystal, you only have six cannonballs, what you must do is lunch a cannon, to the pedestals to see if you can knock the vases off, you may claim what you earn, but remember you only have six cannonballs, so you're only allowed to make two mistakes should you wish to claim all the gems in this challenge", Raven said, then he left the group.
While Ben and Michael set the catapult to the first pedestal, while Bethany placed the first cannonball in place.
Once they were satisfied, they launched the catapult, and the cannonball went flying to the first pedestal.
Unfortunately, it missed.
" Okay let's try again", said Bethany.
So after a better aiming, they launched the second cannonball to the pedestal, and it successfully knock the vase off, and shattered on the ground, revealing a crystal.
" Brilliant, 1 down 3 to go", said Michael.
Day 10.
Team: Seals.
Color: Purple.
Members: 4.
Leader: Samantha.
Vice Leader: Thomas.
Others: Charlie and Charlotte.
Crystals: 34.
Challenge: Deep Loch.
Samantha, Thomas, Charlie and Charlotte stood at one end of a giant lake.
Raven approached them.
" Warriors, welcome to your next challenge, the Deep Loch, what you must do is swim across from here, to the other end where the gems lay, and you shall claim them, this challenge tests your speed, strength and bravery", said Raven.
The four warriors jumped into the lake, Raven then turned to see a certain boat with certain demons approaching the warriors.
" They don't know when to quit do they", Raven grumbled, he then used his staff to strike at the demons.
The four warriors panicked seeing the demons getting closer.
" Don't worry, I'll haul them off, you four get to the other side quickly", said Raven.
And so, the four continued swimming.
Charlie made it through first, he grabbed the first crystal, he then waited for the rest of the team to arrive.
Samantha made it second, grabbed the next crystal and joined Charlie as they waited for Charlotte and Thomas to make it through.
Charlotte made it third, and grabbed the third crystal, and joined Charlie and Samantha as they waited for Thomas who was the only one left.
" Quickly Thomas, you're nearly there", said Raven.
And Thomas although last, made it, and avoided the demons as he grabbed the last gem and joined the rest of his team.
Raven struck at the demons with his staff, and they vanished.
" Thankfully we are safe from these demons another days, but enough is enough, the next time these show up in the loch, I am turning the river into ice, and believe me, I can do that", said Raven.
Asfor the wolves, after they all made it to the other end of the lake, they each grabbed a gem, bringing their total to 38.
Day 10.
Team: Wolves.
Color: Grey.
Members: 4.
Leader: Oliver, (Revived).
Vice leader: Tabitha.
Other: William.
Revived: Sophie.
Crystals: 17.
Challenge: Blind mans bluff.
Oliver, Tabitha, William and Sophie stood in front of a ruined castle, inside was a lady with snakes for hair, also inside are demons walking around her.
Raven approached them.
" Warriors, this is a challenge where only one of you is at risk, this is blind mans bluff, whatever you do, do not look into Meducas eyes, or you'll be turned to stone, one of you must go through the abandoned castle, blindfolded, and must rely on their teammates to guide them, be careful of the demons, should you make physical contact with them, then you'll perish, this challenge requires patience, communication and leadership", said Raven.
He then left the group as they decided who was to go in the castle.
" I think it should be either Tabitha or William, so even if we fail, we can bring that person back", said Oliver.
" I'll do it", said Tabitha.
" Are you sure", said William.
" I'm sure, it'll make up for my failure at the archery", said Tabitha.
" Okay then", said William.
Once Tabitha had her blindfold on, she entered the chamber, and the challenge began.
" Okay, the first pouch is close, turn 90 degrees to your left, and walk 5 paces", said Oliver.
Tabitha then followed the procedure Oliver said, and she grabbed the first pouch.
" Okay, the remaining three gems are close to the demons, and you could get eliminated, I think we should get out", said Oliver.
" Are you sure", said Tabitha.
" Yeah, we don't want to lose you, turn 180 degrees, walk five paces, then turn 90 degrees to you right, and walk out", said Oliver.
And so, Tabitha followed Oliver's path, and made her way out of the chamber with the one gem in her hand.
Back with the polar bears, they moved the catapult to aim at the second pedestal, they still have four shots left but only one crystal, and they intended to get them all, then, once ready, fired their third shot, however they unfortunately missed.
" Okay if we miss again we'll wind up with less than four", said Ben.
So, once aimed correctly, they fired their fourth shot, and successfully knocked down their second vase.
" Okay we only have two shots left", said Bethany.
The team then aimed the catapult to the third pedestal, and then fired their second last shot, however, they missed.
" Why did it have to be six cannons, it should've been eight", said Ben.
After better aiming, they had their final cannonball ready, and fired it, they managed to knock the third vase off it's pedestal, smashing on the ground, revealing it's crystal.
The team then grabbed the three crystals and left the challenge.
Back with the penguins, the three remaining warriors memorized the objects and the challenge began.
The Merchant gave out the first question.
" How many did you see that has a legs", said the Merchant.
" Five", answered Dominic.
" Correct", said the Merchant, the five animals with legs being the frog, eagle, alligator, monkey and kangaroo, the fish is the only animal without legs.
" Question two, which animal had the color red", said the Merchant.
" The Monkey", said Bridget.
" Incorrect, the kangaroo, question three, what symbols did the frog have on it", said the Merchant.
" Polka dots", said Isabel.
" Correct, and final question, what color was the frog", said the merchant.
" Purple", said Isabel.
" Correct, you have answered 3 out of 4 questions correctly, I give you, three crystals", said the Merchant, who passed the three crystals to Dominic as the team left with them.
Polar bears Bethany, Michael and Ben sat at camp, relaxing, Raven then approached them.
" Warriors, congratulations on collecting 3 crystals today, but I see some of you felt frustrated, Ben, why is that", said Raven.
" We only had six shots with the catapults, and we felt it would've been better if we had eight, that way we'll know where we messed up each time we fire", said Ben.
" Aye, but unfortunately that would make it too easy", said Raven.
Wolves, Oliver, Tabitha, William and Sophie rested at their camp, Raven then approached them.
" Warriors, today you only collected one crystal, Oliver, you made the decision to have Tabitha leave the challenge rather than risk getting eliminated, did you think you made a wise decision", said Raven.
" I felt that, the other 3 crystals were too close to the demons, and the one we got was easy to get, so I thought we should get Tabitha out so we wouldn't lose her, because I prefer it that all four of us were together till the end", said Oliver.
" Is that why you decided that either Tabitha or William went in the chamber", said Raven.
" Yeah, because if we lost those two, we can buy them out, as we have enough gems to buy them both back, while for me and Sophie, we're both just one slip up away from being eliminated for good", said Oliver.
" Tabitha, you volunteered for this challenge, was there a reason behind it", said Raven.
" Yes, I wanted to prove myself, and make up for failing in the archery challenge", said Tabitha.
" Well, as you know, risking yourself for this challenge did more than just make up for that loss, you didn't have to volunteer, as there are five more challenges to face, but what was done has been done, and it's all in the past, now is the time to look up to the future", said Raven.
" The seals lead the quest with 38 crystals, the Penguins are in second with 29 crystals, and the Polar bears are in third with 28 crystals, the Wolves are in last with 18 crystals, the wolves need to pick up the pace a little, only 5 challenges remain, and they are way behind, if they don't pick up the pace, it won't get easier for them", said Raven.
Next time on Raven the ice queen, the Penguins test their bravery and communication and overcome their fear of the dark in the dark cave, the Polar bears test their bravery and overcome their fear of heights in leap of faith, the seals also test their bravery and overcome their fear of heights in the pedestals, and the wolves test their speed, pressure and overcome their claustrophobia in the cage traps, tomorrow is going to be a major fear factor, and there are only 11 days left till the quest ends, and only 6 challenges remain for each team to conquer.
