Welcome back to The Other Path To Power!

This chapter will be diving into the way Team 7 finds Itachi and Kisame.

Now, Let's begin!

Team 7 were jumping from branch to branch in the forest en route to the old Uchiha compound. It was a more relaxed environment for 3 members of the new team 7, Naruto, Sakura, and Sai all having a more relaxed conversation for their current situation. Naruto was in front of the team, but it was Sasuke and Kakashi who were guiding the team to the location, Sasuke once living there and Kakashi remembering where it was from the times when he would get Obito for there missions once upon a time ago. They had been going for a while now, the moonlight now beaming down upon them. Kakashi studied Sasuke for a moment, and seeing the slightly drowsy face of Sasuke and everyone else, he sighed.

"Let's set up camp here," Kakashi ordered to everyone, the team stopping to take a breather and jumping down to the ground. Sasuke looked like he wanted to protest, but his legs felt heavier than he thought they would, so he didn't do it.

The team set down the backpacks and began to pull bedrolls and food from out of them. They unraveled the bedrolls, Kakashi got a small blanket for the team to sit down and eat at. It was a good time, Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, and a small bit of Sasuke all missed it, and Sai was new to it. They shared tales, Sai talked about how ROOT works, and it was a good time. They all went to bed, Kakashi going to bed first, his older 31-year-old body netting him an early slumber there his 16-year-old team. It was when Kakashi went to sleep when Sasuke got out of his bedroll, making the three other ninjas look up in mild surprise.

Sasuke flew upwards at the trees, making Naruto, Sai, and Sakura get up from their bedrolls. Sasuke flew up to the top of a large tree and sat down on top, looking up at the vast stars in the sky. The trio wasn't far behind, and they all got up on their own tree, very close to Sasuke's own. Sakura and Sai looked at Sasuke in wonder, noting the strangely vulnerable position that he is in. Naruto wasn't as observed.

"Oi, Teme," Naruto started, rubbing his eyes to get the sleep out of them. "What the fuck are doing? It's like, 3:00 am. Shouldn't we be sleeping?" Naruto said, not really caring for any manners. He wanted to sleep, damned! Sasuke just smirked slightly but didn't take his eyes off the stars.

"You didn't have to come with me you know," Sasuke said honestly, Naruto huffing and sitting down cross-legged on top of his tree. "I'm just; taking everything I think," Sasuke said, not really knowing what he is doing true-fully.

"What down you mean Sasuke-Kun?" Sakura questioned. "What are you taking in?" She asked, Sai wondering the same thing. Sasuke still just watched the stars.

"This whole; experience," Sasuke said vaguely, the trio watching him confused. "The fact that I avenge every Uchiha tomorrow," Sasuke said, everyone else nodding their heads in understanding. "I achieve my dream tomorrow." Sasuke followed up, Sakura and Naruto remembering his speech during their introduction with Kakashi. Sasuke still looked up in the dark sky.

"H-How does it feel Sasuke-Kun?" Sakura asked sheepishly. Sasuke turned his head while still looking up at the stars.

"I don't know. It's like, I'm entering a new life. Where I've done what I've been dreaming to do, my way, and completely on my own path." Sasuke said, wanting to describe how it feels. "Right now I'm seeing everything I've ever done to prepare for this fight. Every minute of training, every mission, and every spar with you Naruto, and Kakashi-sensei." Sasuke further described to his teammates. "Once we win, Kakashi-sensei thinks I will awaken my own Mangekyou Sharingan. If that happens, then I wanted to give Kakashi-sensei Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan, so he can get his own pair of Mangekyou Sharingan." Naruto, Sakura, and Sai all got shocked at what Sasuke was saying.

'I thought Uchiha were only power-hungry and incredibly selfish. Why would Sasuke want to share his own clan's Dojojutsu with someone else?' Sai thought, remembering all the things he had heated and what he was told when he was in ROOT.

"Why Sasuke? You never talked about sharing your clan's eyes with anyone before." Sakura asked, wondering why Sasuke of all people would be this generous. Sasuke just kept looking up in the stars.

"Have you ever wondered why Kakashi-sensei doesn't have any teammates in the village?" Sasuke asked, waiting for Sakura's answer.

"I thought Gai-sensei was his teammate," Sakura answered, Sasuke nodding slightly.

"When we first meet him, I thought so myself. But he isn't," Sasuke said keeping his head up looking at the stars. "Kakashi-sensei's entire team is dead," Sasuke said blankly, making Naruto and Sakura blink in surprise and Sai just nodded, already knowing the story. "He lost one during the third great ninja world. He sacrificed himself to save Kakashi-sensei and his other teammate, and obviously died in the process. Kakashi-sensei's second one was captured by a group of Hidden Mist ninja and was made the three-tails jinchuriki," Naruto visible peaked up at that, being a jinchuriki himself. "She was basically a ticking time bomb, so when she came back to Konoha, the three-tails would take over her body and attack Konoha," Sasuke said, pausing to get that across.

"She didn't want this, so she asked Kakashi to kill her. Kakashi couldn't do it, having already lost his best friend, but when Kakashi lit up the Chidori, she suicided on it." Sasuke said rather monotonous, the topic being as dark as it is, and Sakura put a hand on her mouth in horror while Naruto looked down. "His sensei was the fourth Hokage, so I think everyone already knows how he died," Sasuke said, now moving to stand up but still looking up at the night sky. "Even though everything I've lost, I can't imagine you dying Naruto," Naruto looked up at Sasuke in surprise. "Or having to kill you Sakura." Sakura nodded in understanding, putting her hand back down to her side. "Or having Kakashi-sensei die while I can't do anything about it. That's why I want to give Kakashi-sensei Itachi's eyes because he deserves a pair of Sharingan just as much as I do." The trio of Naruto, Sakura, and Sai all nodded in understanding. Sasuke sighed. "I don't even understand what I say half the time when I talk about this stuff, and this conversation doesn't escape the four of us, got it," Sasuke demanded somewhat seriously, the three other ninjas all laughing slightly.

"Of course, Sasuke," Sai said calmly, wondering if this is what it feels like to start a bond with people like Naruto told him about.

"Alright, Sasuke-Kun," Sakura said, really enjoying this version of Sasuke better than the one that left her on a bench three years ago.

"Whatever you say Teme. But just so you know, no promises." Naruto said, with a face splitting grin on his face. Sasuke just smirked slightly.

"Shut up dobe," Sasuke said, jumping down after the laughing Naruto.

In his bedroll, if you looked at Kakashi's face, you would have seen him crying tears of joy about his favorite student.

Team 7 were up a bit later than usual, but they had packed up their gear and had left their campsite, now making great headway to the old Uchiha compound. They were only a few kilometers to go, so the team was getting rather antsy.

"Hey, Kakashi-sensei," Naruto said, getting Kakashi's attention as Naruto looked back slightly. "Can you tell me what we're going to do one more time?" Naruto requested, making Kakashi sigh, Sai and Sakura to laugh slightly and Sasuke to roll his eyes.

"Assume that Kisame is with Itachi, as most Akatsuki duos are, he will probably be a gatekeeper for Sasuke. If he is, then we could let Sasuke go in alone, or after Sasuke leaves we could try to make a move to get around him, but that could put us in danger with Kisame." Kakashi said, getting Naruto to nod in understanding.

The concrete jungle that is the old Uchiha clan compound came into view, and Sasuke cracked his neck. Kisame did come in view for team 7, the towering 6'4 fish-man with his shark skin sword on his shoulder. Team 7 stopped in front of him on edge with their hands hovering their ninja tools.

"Itachi only wants Sasuke. You four have to stay here, or you die by my hand." The Akatsuki member told the team, point his mighty blade at Sasuke. Sasuke moved forward and moved past Kisame, not even sparing him a side glance as he kept moving forward.

Sasuke walked into the head Uchiha building, knowing that this is probably where Itachi is. There was a small piece of doubt running in the back of his mind eating away at him. Would Sasuke be happy when Itachi was dead? Or would he be dissatisfied?

What would he do? Train will out purpose? Kept trying to get stronger without a goal in mind? Of course, there was his second dream that he had during Kakashi's introduction. But he was 16, and while he had people who would probably let him fuck them at the drop of a hat, he didn't want to live that lifestyle, going from women to women and leaving the kids as an afterthought.

He kept going deeper into the building, hoping to find Itachi. It was then when he found what looked like the main room where meetings were probably once held.

On the far side of the room, where he was. Itachi was sitting on a throne type chair, with his Akatsuki cloak undo enough to allow his left arm to hang out slightly. Sasuke felt like he was being mocked by Itachi siding in the throne, but he didn't comment.

"Little brother." Itachi greeted him, in his usual monotonous and emotionless voice. Sasuke just narrowed his eyes.

"Itachi," Sasuke said, in his own emotionless voice, but with his own hatred spin. The two brothers just stared at each other for a second, three tomoe Sharingan staring into the three-sided pointed shrunken Mangekyou Sharingan. Itachi shifted slightly.

"You still lack hatred," Itachi said emotionlessly, Sasuke keeping his glare on him.

"You would think that wouldn't you?" Sasuke rhetorically asked, referring to the massacre that Itachi committed. Itachi's face was still emotionless.

"I don't think about it. I know it is true." Itachi said, Sasuke scoffing in response. "You still don't have a Mangekyou Sharingan. You failed in retreating the village, and now you will fail to defeat me." Itachi informed Sasuke from the throne. Sasuke remained emotionless.

"You should have tried to leave to go to Orochimaru a second time. If you went to him, then you could have a small hope to defeat me. Besides, how much can you learn from the useless copy ninja compared to a Sannin." Itachi said, his face expertly emotionless. Sasuke's glare intensified.

"That useless copy ninja was your captain once." Sasuke remained Itachi with his own emotionless voice. "He should have killed you when he had the chance," Sasuke said to Itachi. He knew that Itachi was trying to make him use his emotions to fight against him, and that would guarantee Itachi's victory over him.

"Are you sure of the truth of that night?" Itachi asked rather ominously, Sasuke's emotionless face becoming ever so slightly confused.

"Are you trying to weasel your way out of this? Because it won't work." Sasuke told Itachi, the situation getting tenser by the second.

"You wouldn't be that lucky little brother," Itachi said further mocking Sasuke. "But I had an accomplice for that night," Itachi said, Sasuke interest peeked but he hid it behind an emotionless mask.

"And who is it?" Sasuke demanded to Itachi.

"Madara Uchiha," Itachi revealed to Sasuke, Sasuke's face turning to slight disgust.

"Do I come off as some idiot?" Sasuke asked rhetorically. "Madara Uchiha's long dead," Sasuke said, his right hand now shadowing the handle of his sword.

"He probably isn't the actual Madara Uchiha, but he has a Sharingan in his right eye," Itachi said to his younger brother. Sasuke grabbed the hilt of his sword.

"Then he is next," Sasuke said, his penetrating Sharingan eyes glaring at his brother as Sasuke moved to a better fighting stance. Chirping birds sounded loudly in the room, and a Chidori was implanted into Itachi. "How did you dodge that?" Sasuke asked, not really expecting an answer.

"So you saw through my Genjutsu," Itachi said, as a new Itachi replaced the old one, this time with his head avoiding the Chidori strike.

"My eyes can through any of your deceptions," Sasuke said, now grappling hold of his katana. Itachi laughed at that. It was a weird sound like Itachi didn't really know how to laugh, but it just added to the tension. Itachi then stood up from the throne.

"That was only a weak Genjutsu. I very much doubt you can stop anything from my special eyes." Itachi said in a mocking tone. Sasuke growled slightly.

"I'll rip out your special eyes before nightfall." Sasuke shot back, Itachi raising an eyebrow slightly.

"I think you have it backward, little brother, seeing as your eyes are the only reason why you're alive right now," Itachi informed Sasuke.

'What? He wants my eyes?' Sasuke thought, not knowing why Itachi would want his eyes of all things.

"So you don't know?" Itachi asked, seeing Sasuke's confused face. "Well, I guess I have to deliver bad news. You see, little brother, most don't know how the Mangekyou Sharingan works. You see, as you use the Mangekyou's powers, the eye itself starts to weaken until you become blind. The only way you fix this problem is by swapping your eyes with another Uchiha. That's why your alive little brother, is to be my key to fix this problem." Itachi informed the now horrified Sasuke. All those happy moments they shared, was it all for Itachi's benefit? It had horrified Sasuke so much that he barely registered the barrage of Shrunken that was being thrown at him, Sasuke moving at the last second, but most having the intended purpose of cutting him; making cuts and scrapes along Sasuke's skin.

"Interesting," Itachi said, getting more Ninja tools from his pouch. "You deceived my eyes."

"Move Naruto!"

Naruto jumped again quickly from his already crouched position to get away from Samehada. Kisame seemed to be going after him in particular, being a Jinchuriki. Sai was drawing as fast as he could.

"Ninja Art: Super Beast Scroll!" Sai said, an eagle coming out from his scroll and diving at the shoulders of Kisame. The hawk put its talons at the tall fish man, but the blade of Samehada destroyed it. It wasn't in attempted destroy from Kisame, the blade just pounced backward and hit the unexpected hawk coming from behind him.

Kakashi came to Kisame. "Earth style: Mud wall!" Walls of rock and earth surrounded Kisame, the fish-man looking around him. Kisame smirked, then did a 360, Samehada outstretched on his right arm to cut the wall in half, the earth coming crashing back down to the ground.

Kisame turned slightly to have the entirety of Team 7 in his view and put his blade upside downs, the handle sticking upwards at Kisame while the blue skin touched the ground.

"You guys are quite disappointing if I say so myself." Kisame mocked, actually disappointed in this fight. Kakashi didn't think of a retort, so he instead just made a Chidori and ran at Kisame. Kakashi was blocked by a wave of water, the same thing that was blocking his previous attacks on the shark man. This left Kisame alone from other attacks, something Sakura made her advantage. She ran at Kisame, and punched him right in the face, but was only meet with a splash of water.

'A Water Clone!' Kakashi thought, now on his own feet from being washed away from Kisame previous block. The real Kisame appeared behind Sakura and had his blade above his head.

"Wind Style: Rashurikin!" Naruto yelled his new attack at the fish man, the cutting Rasangen having its intended effect and knocking down the large fish, saving Sakura and knocking Kisame on his ass. Kisame got up slowly, the entire team 7 ready to strike at him again.

"This world has had enough Kisame Hoshigaki. You're going to die." Kakashi ordered, Kisame still having on his smirk and pointing his blade at the silver-haired sensei.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that copy ninja." Kisame further mocked, now ready for this new level of fighting that the team could bring.

Team 7 glared at Kisame, their hands all hovering over their ninja tool pouches. Kisame gripped his sword tighter. But then, the team poofed out of existence. Kisame, blinked a couple of times, then swing his sword behind him quickly. He didn't hit anything, and Kisame looked around at his surroundings with unmasked suspicion.

After a few moments of tension, his eyes widen in realization, then a smirk came on his face. Kisame put Samehada on his back and stood up straight. He looked back at the main Uchiha building.

"I wonder Itachi, how will you deal with them," Kisame said to himself, watching the building in wonder.

Four poofs of smoke suddenly appeared around Sasuke as he stares in rage at Itachi. Four figures were in the smoke.

"You see Itachi, your eyes may actually be going blind." Sasuke started, Itachi's interest peaked as he listened.

"And why's that, little brother?" Itachi asked mockingly, one of the figures in the smoke twitching at the title for Sasuke.

"Because if they weren't, you would have realized I'm not fighting you alone." Sasuke started rather smugly. "We are," Sasuke said, the forms of Naruto, Sakura, Sai, and Kakashi coming out of the smoke. Itachi just stared back emotionless back.

Sasuke moved with his katana to stab Itachi while Itachi was looking at his new opponents. Team 7 were surprised at the attack, so was Itachi as Sasuke smirked at Itachi's shocked expression. The attack brought Itachi down on his back with Sasuke kneeling on his stomach, but Itachi just weakly raised his right arm, the arm shaking as he did so. Itachi lifted to fingers, pointing with them at Sasuke, Sasuke pulling his head back slightly at the action, and then pulled his hand down, pointing to Sasuke's right as he did so. Sasuke and the rest of team 7 looked confused at the action, so they all looked to their right, to find Itachi sitting on the throne, looking completely fresh without a scratch on him.

"I ask you again, little brother," Itachi mocked smugly, watching Naruto in interest as the blonde growled at the continued brother talk. "How much can you see with that Sharingan of yours?" Itachi asked almost rhetorically to his younger brother.

Sasuke and Kakashi formed their own Chidori's, Sakura tightened the glove on her right hand, Sai ripped out some scrolls from his pouch, and Naruto made a Rashurikin in his right hand.

"You dead at my feet, Itachi," Sasuke said, now more than ready to fight the Akatsuki member.

(Start playing Heartless by Polo G fear Mustard if you want to.)

Itachi quickly gathered charka in his right eye, and sent it at Sasuke, the black flames blazing to life.

"Amaterasu!" Itachi said, the black flames flying towards Sasuke. Sasuke's eyes widened, but he had little time to react. Sasuke quickly turned into the second stage of the curse mark, trying to protect himself with his wings. The flames hit, and Sasuke was scarily close to screaming at the pain, his sheer will power of not giving Itachi the pleasure. His teeth just scraped hard in response.

"SASUKE!" Sakura yelled now running over to the raven-haired boy only to be stopped by Kakashi.

"We knew this could happen, so we took precautions. He'll be alright." Kakashi said, Sakura now seeing that Sasuke's left-wing had completely burned and fallen off Sasuke's body. Naruto threw his Rashurikin at Itachi, Itachi just barely Shunshining out the way.

"YOU BASTARD!" Naruto yelled at Itachi, quickly making another Rashurikin to throw.

"Ninja Art: Super Beast Scroll!" Sai said, two twin lions coming out of the paper to come running and growling at Itachi. Itachi turned a hard right, and the two beasts coming crashing into the wall in front of them. They still held up, the time it gave Itachi for them to get up from the rubble and find their target enough time for Itachi to make his hand signs.

"Fire Style: Phoenix Flame Strike!" Itachi said, a fiery bird coming from Itachi's mouth and squalling as it came crashing into the two ink beasts, subsequently destroying them.

Kakashi came from Itachi's left, pulling back his Chidori and thrusting it towards Itachi, the Akatsuki member grabbing Kakashi's wrist and pulling it towards him, Itachi ducking as it came exploding at the wall on Itachi's right. It was a technique he used on Sasuke once, but unlike Sasuke, the veteran Chidori user in Kakashi had made a far greater explosion, so big you could see outside from the cracks made on the thick wall, something Itachi noted.

Itachi brought Kakashi's arm and threw it over Itachi's shoulder, dragging the sensei close into Itachi. Itachi raised his knee, hoping to knee the Hatake in the stomach, but Kakashi made a small jump upwards, putting both his feet on Itachi's outstretched knee, and made a second Charka filled jump, this time going high above Itachi, the raven-haired ninja's eyes following the copy ninja, and landed behind Itachi, doing a spinning flip mid-air to land with his front facing the back of Itachi.

Kakashi then tried to knee Itachi in the back of his left kneecap, but Itachi moved too quickly, sidestepping out of Kakashi's attack. Itachi then put some of his Charka in his hand and tried to punch Kakashi, but to the copy ninja's nature, Kakashi meets the punch of Itachi knuckle to knuckle, the combination of both Charka fuelled punches making both Akatsuki member and Konoha sensei fall back to opposite walls of the dark Uchiha building.

Sasuke and Sakura came running at Itachi, Sasuke still in his second state cruse mark but with one wing missing, and Naruto joined the duo with a Rashurikin in his right hand. Itachi was still in the wall that he was thrown in with his clash with Kakashi, so he was in a corner.

"CHA!" Sakura screamed, gathering charka in her right hand.

"Rashurikin!" Naruto screamed, the spiky ball of wind charka spinning violently in his right hand.

"Chidori!" Sasuke said, the lighting blade turning black as he was still in the second stage of his curse mark. Itachi saw the attacks coming but didn't have any skill to get out of the way or create a counterattack. The explosion of charka with the three teammates created a massive explosion, the wall the attack was directed at completely falling apart, half the wall coming crumbling down to the ground. Naruto blinked a couple to get the dust out of his eyes, then asked the obvious question.

"Is it over?" Naruto asked, looking at Sasuke and Sakura for an answer. Sasuke looked up, an action which was followed by Sakura and then Naruto, who got surprised at who he saw. It was Itachi, breathing slightly fast, with his Akatsuki cloak half on, looking down at the team through a crack in the ceiling.

"You weasel." Sasuke mocked, using the meaning behind Itachi's name to mock Itachi.

"Right now I think you're the only rodent here, Sarutobi." Itachi shoots back, using the meaning of Sasuke's name like Sasuke just did to his own. Sasuke glared but made no move to get at the same level as Itachi. Sasuke quickly made hand signs, Itachi getting on edge as he waited for what his little brother had in store.

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!" Sasuke said, a massive dragon coming straight out of his mouth. It started to come out of the cracks in the ceiling, the flame contorting in ways to allow it to remain at full power. The bright red fire came out of the dragon's mouth, and Itachi was doing jumps and flips to avoid the assault.

This gave ample time for Team 7 to get up on the roof, Kakashi shaking to get out of the rubble that he had been in, and the team was on the same platform that Itachi was still on.

Itachi had gained enough space from the fire dragon to counter it. "Amaterasu!" Itachi said, summoning the black flames that attacked the fire dragon, the stronger black flames of the sun god destroying the fire dragon. Itachi wasn't done, as he quickly made hand signs while facing Sasuke and the rest of team 7. Sasuke quickly started to make the same hand signs.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" Itachi said, putting his hands to his mouth and starting to release fire from it.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" Sasuke said copying Itachi as he made a giant fireball.

The two brothers' fireball's clashed, stopping at the center of the roof they were on. Kakashi, Naruto, Sai, and Sakura watched on in astonishment at the strangely beautiful display of Jutsu. It was clear that both Itachi and Sasuke were pouring chakra into the attack, the two beams of fire clashing.

Sasuke's flame was starting to come ahead, forcing Itachi's flame back at him, but Itachi had one eye closed.

"Amaterasu!" Itachi said, the lost Uchiha dosing his own flames with the black flames, which in turn made the connected flames of Sasuke into the black flames, and in turn, made the flames go out.

Itachi stared back at team 7 with panting breathes, realizing just how close to death he really is. Sasuke wasn't any better, staring at Itachi while panting in his own right.

"Well, you've certainly got better at that Jutsu. It only kept up to me for a few seconds, little brother." Itachi mocked, not really looking at Sasuke, more so judging the reaction of Naruto, which is something Kakashi noted. A Rashurikin appeared in the hands of an angered Naruto.

"YOU BASTARD!" Naruto screamed, appearing in front of Itachi suddenly and driving the Rashurikin into Itachi's stomach, sending Itachi across the roof they were on. "This isn't how brothers act, damned!" Naruto said angrily to Itachi, Itachi spewing up bleed from the Rashurikin. Itachi looked up will a small smile directed at Naruto, something again only Kakashi noted.

Itachi gathered charka in his eye. "Amaterasu!" He said, knowing that he just used his last one. The black flames were coming at Naruto, and Sai knew he had to react.

"Ninja Art: Super Beast Scroll!" Sai said, a barrage of ink lions and ink snakes coming at the black flames. They collided, and it was obvious that the beasts weren't going to escape from the flames. The flames slowed down, and the combined use of elements caused the hot air of Amaterasu to rise to the already stormy sky due to the Fire Style techniques being used and it created lighting to be made in the sky, something Sasuke and Sakura noted.

The flames of Amaterasu didn't go out however from being patted down with ink, so Kakashi decided to use his own Mangekyou Sharingan ability to help. "Kamui!" Kakashi said the portal of another dimension opened up on the flames. Itachi's last Amaterasu was sent into the other dimension.

"Naruto!" Sasuke called out in his unmistakable tone of saying Naruto's name. "Get back!" He ordered, Naruto looking back confused. "Come on!" Sasuke further ordered, Naruto slightly shrugging his tense shoulders as he ran back to his team.

Once Naruto got back, Sasuke raised his right hand.

"Now Itachi, disappear in a clap of thunder!" Sasuke said ominously, the lighting above him cracking into forming a shape.

"KIRIN!"

Author note:

Schedule:

There isn't much of one now, but ironically I finished this chapter on January 1, the first Friday after Christmas.

The writing process:

I really enjoyed writing this chapter, as I just blew through it. Canonically, Sasuke's speech at the start of the chapter is very, very OOC, but I generally believe that if Kakashi explained his backstory to Sasuke, then Sasuke would realize that Kakashi is just like him, and would really get attached to him. I had imagined finding Itachi and Kisame would take more space, but if I wrote it, it would just be filler as Sasuke wouldn't be saying much as he is lost in his own world about killing Itachi, Kakashi would be in the same boat, and I don't know what the rest would be talking about.

I tried to include as much Itachi as possible as he is probably the most liked character in the entire series (well deserved of course) so I hope you Itachi simps find it sufficient.

We all know what happens when Team 7 gets back to the village, and Jiraya has like 3 lines in the story, so the next chapter is a lot of Jiraya.

Reviews:

The first time I will be doing this type of segment, and I would really appreciate your opinion on ideas within the chapters.

These are from chapter 7.

Guest 1: I like this story. I've always preferred Sasuke to Naruto as well. I always thought it was a mistake to make Sasuke leave the village.

I appreciate your acknowledgment and happiness with the story. I don't think it was a mistake for Sasuke to leave the village as I think that Kishimoto was trying to have characters that represented the ninja in the Naruto world, for example, Naruto being a Jinchuriki, Sasuke being a rouge-ninja, Sakura being a medical-ninja, Hinata and Neji being two people born in a complex clan with main and branch families, Sai being pushed to the extreme of what it means to be a ninja by throwing his emotions completely. But I do definitely believe we were robbed of more on-screen time with Sasuke in Shippuden. The show has 500 episodes, and Sasuke was only in like 50+ episodes. Sure he mentioned a lot, but talking about someone is not any were close to meeting someone. I think that both the anime and Kishimoto could have Sasuke a lot more especially after he had joined the Akatsuki and went pesto-insane, and dived more into what he did to innocent people around him after he learned about Itachi. That's just my opinion, of course.

Guest 2: What kind of horseshit? Teaching Sasuke the fucking Rasengan lmaooo okay no fuck this I'm outie.

I appreciate your acknowledgment and honesty with something that I assumed wouldn't be very popular. I'm not some Sasuke retard as I have tried to explain many times as I see that he has a lot of reasons why you would dislike his character; however. Sasuke wouldn't learn the Rasengan to just learn it use regularly, and truthfully that is definitely the only time he uses it in this story, but Sasuke would learn that Jutsu because he not only saw what it did to the water tower back when he and Naruto had their first fight, he felt it when he and Naruto had their second fight. I also think that Sasuke believes deep down that he lost that second fight (but I would classify it more like a tie) and would want to learn the Jutsu that had beat him. But I think the main reason Sasuke would want to learn that Jutsu and then improve upon it, is because I believe that Sasuke gets this sick sense of euphoria from beating Naruto with his own main technique. Plus, it's an A-rank Jutsu, and he wanted more powerful Jutsu. Plus plus, Kakashi would see it as an exercise to gather charka into Sasuke's hands, something he needs for the double Chidori. Plus plus plus, I wanted Naruto to have a more concrete reason to get the Rashurikin, and I thought that he would feel inspired by Sasuke having his own fire style Rasengan to get his own elemental charka fueled Rasengan.

Again, I would love for your opinion and thoughts on things that happen in the story, as I would love for more reason to do an edit over the entire story, which is something I was planning on doing. And if you have an unnamed account, I will probably just do the Guest 1 and Guest 2 thing like I did here.

Life:

I go back to school on the fourth, which is really annoying as I thought it would be the 11th but I don't have a right to complain.

I have volumes 13-27 of Fullmetal Alchemist coming in the mail and I really enjoy that manga so I can't wait for that, and the next manga I'm going to look to get is Attack on Titan as I have only volume 1 of that manga and it was incredible.

Will that bing said, see you next one on

The Other Path To Power Chapter 9:

The two were born to Sacrifice!
