[Chapter 10] Madison Square Garden

At the airport Charly was in tears, she held hard on Shawn and didn't want to leave.

"Honey bee, we see each other in just 10 weeks again and this time our boy will be here too." Shawn kissed her softly. "Babe, it's time you have to go." Shawn looked at her, kissed her a last time and was waiting until he saw the airplane lifting from the ground.

** Aug 31st 2002**

Charly woke up looking at the clock, jumping out of the bed into her bathroom and had to throw up as every morning the past 5 days.

Damn. You did it again. Pregnant, oh such a lucky girl.

"Shawn! C'mon it's time"

"Mom?"

"Yeah?"

"How long until we fly?"

"10 weeks to go, sunshine."

***Nov 14th 2002***

JFK airport, NY. Shawn was waiting impatiently for his woman to arrive, the airplane already had landed, but she hadn't shown up at the terminal. Shawn hadn't seen here for 10 weeks. At the same time he was a nervous wreck, because Charly had told him that she would bring Shawn along too. So today would be the day he would meet his son for the first time.

"Mom! Damn wait!"

"No such behavior, young man, do you understand me? Ok I usually tell you, you are a copy of your dad but there is no need at all actually to behave like him."

"Yeah...if you say so…"

"Ush ...that boy…"

"Honey! Here."

"Hi, babe , missed you so much."

"Uhm, hi, I am Shawn but everyone calls me Josh, except for mom." Shawn held his hand out and though that would be enough.

"Hi, little man, you know who I am?"

"Uhm, yeah, The Showstopper, The Main Event and if I am not very wrong and my mom is still right you are my dad."

"Yes, I am… and I am happy to meet my boy finally."

"Ohh, shit, I'll be right back."

"Babe, what's wrong."

"Nothing wrong. I'll explain later. Let's go."

"She is doing that since she came back, each and every morning, oh man never saw mom sick that long."

"Uhm… what do you mean….since she came back? Is she doing this for 10 weeks now?"

Oh dear Lord, please for heaven's sake….

"Honey? Can we talk, like now?"

"What's wrong babe?"

"You really ask me what's wrong? It's you who has been running in the bathroom since the past 10 weeks, not me. Did ya wanna tell me something?"

"uhm … actually yes but not at the airport let's go to the hotel, yeah?"

They made their way to the hotel, checked in and got up to the suite. A suite with two bedrooms and a bathroom, Shawn Joshua would sleep in the second bedroom. Shawn ordered something to eat from the room service and Charly started to pack up.

"Ok, Honey, sit down."

"Yeah?"

"You wanted to tell me something?"

"Uhm yes,..."

"C'mon, Honey… you can tell me everything, you know that, right?"

"Actually, I am not really sick, you know..?"

"I assume I know."

"But I didn't…."

"No but Shawn told me you've been doing that since you got home from Uniondale."

"Uhm, that little…."

"So that means you are actually 10 weeks long right?"

"Yes. I have something for you." She opened her puse and took out a small picture in black and white putting it on the table and waited on Shawn's reaction. He took the picture, smiled and then he lifted Charly up with a big happy smile on his face.

"I love you, Honey. This time I am going to be with you all the way."

Tears of joy ran down her face as she saw how happy Shawn was. Ok now the difficult part….

"Shawn? Would it be possible to look at that picture again?"

"Honey? What's wrong?"

"Nothing. But there is something I have to show you." She took the picture and a pen, she made two circles on it and gave him the picture back. Shawn looked slightly shocked on the picture in his hand, there are two circles… two baby's.

Shawn and Charly looked at each other and as if reading each other's minds Charly jumped into his arms wrapping her legs around him and locking themselves in an intense embrace. Shawn carried her over to the bed and let her down, only to start pulling off her cloth as fast as he just possible could. Charly doing the same with Shawn and as soon as all clothes where tossed on the ground spreaded everywhere in the hotel room, Shawn began to kiss Charly from the neck down over the collarbones towards her breasts.

Then out of the blue it knocked on the door.

"Yeah"

"uhm .. sorry man, but we thought we should pick your little guy and show him around so you and Charly …"

"Josh? Do you want to get a tour with the guy's?"

"Ahhh yeah, thank you, dad" Josh jump towards him and

The guy's, Kevin and Mark, left with an excited little boy, the hotel.

"Ok babe, where have we been?" Shawn asked with a smile. Charly looked at him and dragged him down, back on the bed.

*** Nov 17th 2002 **

*** Survivor Series - Elimination Chamber Match***

Charly not only nervous, no she was really afraid as she saw how the guy's started to build up the Elimination Chamber. They were building up, in front of Charly's eyes, a Chamber 10 ton of weight, 36' in diameter, 16' in height, in this Chamber, her guy should fight to night, against 5 other guys, as Kane, Chris Jericho, Rob van Dam, Booker T. and yeah fucking Triple H, she was still pissed about the Storyline those to genius came up with. But Charly was at same time sure as hell, her man would show them what it means to be, The Showstopper, The Main Event, The Headliner, The Icon…..

He would as he did several times before win this damn match "First ever Elimination Chamber", as he won the first, ladder match, Iron man match, hell in cell ….. she knew he could do this and leave as the winner.

Rob and Hunter were the two guys, who were supposed to start that match. The other locked in Chambers would join the fight every 5 minutes.

*** Time jump ⅔ through the match***

Rob van Dam and Booker T already out…. 7 sec left for the last wrestler and the crowd cheering HBK, Shawn was released out of his chamber. Going like a berserk against Chris and Kane in the beginning but taken out by a closeline of Kane Shawn is laying on matt. As take over again Shawn gives him a Sweet Chin Music, pedigreed by Triple H and Chris taking the chance by applying a lionsault and Kane is taken out by 3 count. Now Triple H and Chris Jericho worked on Shawn to get him eliminated but the crowd got fully behind Shawn and cheered HBK again.

Shawn takes Chris in a Boston crab and tries to make Chris submit, but Triple H is breaking up Shawn's maneuver with his knee. As Shawn is laying on the mat again, Chris and Triple H go against each other which ends with Chris Jericho trying to make Triple H submit by taking him in the Boston crab. Shawn applying a Sweet Chin Music to Chris breaks up the move and goes for a pin on Chris, Chris gets count out at 3. The match is now down to Shawn and Triple H. Hunter punches Shawn several times before applying a spinebuster and goes for the pin, but Shawn kicks out on late 2.

Hunter tries to whip Shawn in the chains but Hunter instead is landing there and kicks Hunter in the stomach directly after, then Shawn prepares for a pedigree, but Hunter breaks up and slams Shawn into one of the chambers. Hunter drags Shawn back in the ring going for the pin again but Shawn again kicks out at a late 2. The two competitors punch one another several times before applying a closeline so Shawn goes into metal again. There Hunter trying to apply the pedigree gets caught by Shawn and slammed into the Chamber chains.

Shawn applies a close which takes Hunter back in the ring. Shawn goes up on the third rope, looks into the crowd and then climbs up on one of the Chambers, preparing to apply his elbow drop on Hunter. Shawn choosing a corner starts tuning up the band, but Hunter catches Shawn's foot and applies a pedigree instead. Hunter goes for a lazy pin but Shawn kicks out again at a late 2. Hunter goes again for pedigree but applies a back body drop and directly after a Sweet Chin Music and goes for the pin, the referee counts 1… ; 2…. ; 3…. the winner and new World Heavyweight Champion is The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels and Shawns music hits. As Earl Heppner handed Shawn the belt he climbed up on third rope first looking into the crowd, then down to Charly and Josh sending both of them a silent "Thank you" and slowly making his way out of the Chamber.

Charly is jumping up and cheering for man, I knew it, he is just my Showstopper, my Main Event and my Sexy Boy. Shawn Joshua is screaming and cheering for his dad, today he got a new superhero to look up to, his own dad.
