3 weeks after the incident happened, Cerise started to get tired. Her hazel eyes started to get eye bags under her eyes and she yawned frequently. It drew concern from her teacher.
"I'm concerned about Cerise getting enough rest...She fell asleep in my class a few times…" Her teacher told Alfredo and Colette.
"Well, She has been watching her little siblings and working at the restaurant a few days a week...We'll give her a few days off for sure...We're sorry to hear that she's been falling asleep in your class." Alfredo explained.
On cue, Cerise came into the office, very tired, giving a silent yawn.
"Hey, Sweetheart...Ready to go home" Alfredo asked. Cerise nodded her head. The trio walked out of the office.
After Alfredo and Colette picked up their twins, Auggie and Renee were eager for Cerise to play with them
"Cece, can you play with me?" Auggie asked.
"Play with me too Cece…" Renee begged.
As the twins begged for their big sister to play with them, their father quickly diffused the begging while their mother escorted Cerise to her room
"Uh, I don't think Cerise can play with both of you…" Linguini told them
"Why not Daddy?" Renee asked.
"She's very tired and hasn't got much rest...Mommy and I are happy to play with you…"
"Okay…" the twins say.
Colette got Cerise changed into her PJs and tucked her into bed.
"We'll watch the twins for you tonight...you've done enough…" Cerise was already dozed off into sleep.
The sleepiness also caused trouble with her friends at school. The group of 5 were doing a project together and Gemini saw that Cerise was tired. She was busy occupying the twins and doing the project at the same time.
"Hey Did you want me to take over Cerise?" Tony asked her. Cerise shook her head and continued to play with them while working with the others. Luckily, they got an A on the project, but the others were concerned about Cerise getting rest.
One day, her friends came to the restaurant and Cerise was on her break.
"Hey, Cece…" Cerise waved to them tiredly
"Did you sleep well?" Tony asked. Cerise gave a thumbs up
"Well, once you get more rest...We're gonna take you out tomorrow…" Gemini declared
Take me out...Where? Cerise asked on her translator
"I haven't figured that out yet...But I know we're going out...All of us…"
"Going out without a plan is the worst idea…" Francois debunked.
"Sometimes you gotta go without a plan...you'll never know what's going to happen...But you get yourself some rest...Okay…"
Cerise nodded her head.
When Cerise arrived back at the apartment with her family, she fell flat on her face and was fast asleep. Alfredo noticed this and carried her bridal style to her room, changed her into her PJs, and allowed her to get some sleep.
The next morning, Cerise was told to stay home for the day and go to the restaurant at sundown by Colette. The whole day, Cerise watched T.V., Did some chores, and relaxed for the day. By the time 4:30 came around, Alfredo picked her up and took her to the restaurant where her friends were waiting for her. Gemini had a long pink bag for Cerise.
"Let's get ready for tonight…" Gemini bounced up and down excitedly Cerise looked at the bag and shrugged her shoulders
"Don't you worry, It's a surprise...I have a pink bag too…"
"How much do you spend on clothes?" Francois asked
"More than your mom's car…" Tony and Rafael snickered at the comment. "Now come on Cerise…" Gemini dragged Cerise to the restaurant towards the back, where Alfredo's office sat.
"I just hope Gemini doesn't do too much with Cerise…" Tony whispered to Rafael as the boys go into the restaurant
"Quit whining, Gemini knows what she's doing when it comes to fashion…" Rafael nudged Tony.
A few minutes later, the boys sat at the table waiting for the girls
"What's taking those girls so long" Francois complained
"Hey man, they said to wait…" Tony growled
"Yeah, but getting something shouldn't take this long…"
Gemini was still in the office with Cerise and they were looking in the mirror at the outfits that they had on.
Cerise wore a black sweater/tank top with an argyle pattern on the front, and blue sleeves and neck on the end. She also wore a white ¾ collar shirt on underneath and wore a bright blue skater skirt with black shorts underneath and her black sneakers. Her hair was held in a high ponytail with her hair wrapped around the scrunchie and curled ends.
Gemini wore a purple graffiti stamped t-shirt and a shimmery purple sleeveless jagged vest. She also wears some gold shorts with a matching belt with a G initial on it. She also wore black and purple combat boots and light purple sunglasses.
"Alright...What do you think…" Gemini asked.
Cerise took another look and she smiled, giving Gemini a thumbs up. Gemini held something out to her friend
"Cherry chapstick…" Cerise nodded and Gemini applied it on for her.
Then a knock on the door was heard. "Gemini come on...We don't have all night…" Francois called
"Hold your horses…" Gemini called back. After she finished, she applied quick mascara on Cerise and herself.
"Now we're ready…" Cerise and Gemini came out to face the boys Their jaws dropped when they saw them in their outfits.
"You guys look amazing as always…" Rafael told them
Tony mouthed out wow, making Cerise blush.
"Well, what are we waiting for...Let's go on a night out…" Francois pumped his fist.
Once the kids left the restaurant, Gemini told them that She brought her camera to take pictures, to their surprise and delight. They went to several places to take pictures from the Eiffel Tower to a simple park bench.
Then, the kids went to a classy part of town and spotted a house where strobe lights were blaring out
"I wonder who's house this is?" Tony asked the others
"Who cares...it's a party…" Gemini went inside with Rafael following her
The other kids shrugged their shoulders and went inside too. The lights on the house were off and the music blasted and everyone had red cups in their hands.
"Come on guys this is my song," Gemini ran off to the dance floor to dance, grabbing Cerise by the hand, followed by the boys.
They all danced to the loud music, no one seemed to notice that they've arrived at the party. They tried the drinks and quickly spat them out, tasting the alcohol in them, the only thing that they had was the pizza that was there.
Then after a few hours of partying, they heard police sirens from afar, making the music stop dead in its tracks
"It's the po-po scram" a man yells. The kids heard the sirens too and they scrambled faster than the adults did, resulting in the adults getting arrested
The kids ran towards a park bench to sit down
"Why are we sitting here?" Tony asked.
"Because the cops don't know that we were at the party…" Gemini whispered.
Cerise found a newspaper and it covered the five kids as the cops ran past them.
Seeing that the coast is clear, they drop the newspaper and run.
"Okay...Here's the plan, we can go to Francois' house and we can call our parents…" Gemini proposed
"First of all why my house?" Francois argued
"I know this neighborhood is nearby your place"
"No no and no…"
"All in favor of going to Francois' house say I"
Everyone agreed by saying I and Francois facepalmed himself
By the time they got to his house, THey told his parents that they were out to walk around the city and they were going to call their parents. As they wait for them to pick up the kids, Gemini turned to Cerise
"Hey, did you have fun tonight?" Gemini asked
Cerise typed in her translator Most Definitely, thanks so much for taking me out
"That's what friends are for Cece…"
"Yeah...Besides, You needed a break from the twins and school and work…" Tony added
"Well, I have one question to asked all of you…" Gemini turned to everyone else
"What?" Rafael, Tony, and Francois asked in unison while Cerise leaned in to listen.
"Do you want to do it all again tomorrow?" All of the kids glanced at each other and smiled, knowing their answer.
