I've had a review asking about who Ryuki is and where he is from. Ryuki is a character I created! Don't mind the "okay" drawing of him by me; I just hopes it gives an idea of what he looks like. This is also how I imagine Miyuki's character profiles to be like in her rough sketches of her characters which will be later refined and fleshed out further to summon characters like Korosensei and Saitama. Ryuki is her first detailed character with a profile she's attempted to create just from her imagination without anime/manga to create the guidelines, so Ryuki's character still needs a lot more refining than what is initially put down during the summer camp.
Ryuki
Age: 19 years-old
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Asexual (accidentally read mind of someone doing it and did not enjoy it, thus is completely indifferent to it)
-capable of two-way telepathy
-capable of erasing Quirks through looking at them
Hobbies: visiting animal cafes (especially cat ones), listening to music, playing chess, taking naps, swimming/diving
Friendships: Does not have a lot of close friends, but does get along with people despite stoicism
Backstory: Ryuki was just a normal boy aside from his ability to telepathize. It never intruded on his life or others, but there was an irritating part t his story that isolated him from others. Ryuki worked with the government to help direct missions from intelligence agents and diplomatic situations. Despite his own stoicy, Ryuki was well-versed in understanding people and social cues — he just got sick of sucking up and pretending to be who he wasn't.
Parents: Both are alive and happily married. His father is normal — a business man to a large company. He's often overworked and tired, but he tries to make time for family. With Ryuki's job, he has been able to lessen his hours and not work as much overtime despite ho his boss feels. His mother is an ex-yankee who has overcome her addiction to heroine, largely due to Ryuki's presence and her husband's safety from her bits of rage. She's a florist who owns the shop and often had Ryuki help her.
Combat Experience: limited to self-defense taught by mother, expanded when he joined the government, but still limited to self-defense and quick knockouts to evade capture
Character Flaws:
-aimless (due to powers and working with government, doesn't really have ambitions aside protecting family)
-meddlesome (to an excessive degree due to powers, he's mellowed out with government training and learning ot have faith in comrade's abilities)
Growth: once learning of power, he tried to control it — it started as empathy and grew to telepathy. He never could properly control it until he began meditating which centered his thoughts. When he could control it, he never purposefully read thoughts of others without permission unless in dire situations (his recruitment came from one of these when he was 16)
Side note: due to power starting as empathy, has really good intuition which didn't go away with power up which pushes him into a lot of weird and/or dangerous situations
-eye color is a side-effect of power, normally it's closer to copper brown rather than red
-facial scarring is make-up
-wears Chinese clothing as a homage to father's side of the family from China
-hair color is actually light brown, but he bleached and died it blue (a homage to his mother's ex-gang who helped her escape)
-really likes cats (parents never allowed pets due to their allergies)
-headphones are just aesthetics and can be used to play music to drown out thoughts when power cannot be turned off/controlled
