Chapter Sixteen: I Won't Bow To You!
Everyone was surprised at what Scourge has said.
"I mean, does it matter if I do or not? At least I am of royal blood, he's nothing but a thief! In his real home, he does nothing but steal from people, along with his fox and echidna friends!" Scourge yelled.
"Yes, the stealing part is true. But the only difference is, we stole because we had no choice! We were poor, we had no jobs because our home wouldn't employ us! You on the other hand, you have everything you needed, but with your selfish ego, you wanted nothing but power, and want everything about you!" Sonic retaliated.
"Whether that is the case or not, Sonic, that is still no excuse for your actions!" Scourge tried telling him.
"Did you think about that, before you murdered mine and Shadow's parents?! So before you even say about me breaking the rules, at least I have never killed anybody!" Sonic yells.
Everyone gasped in shock. Even Alfred gasped, because even he didn't know this. He also felt bad that he banished Shadow.
"Speaking of which, SHADOW!" Amy called, as she ran towards Shadow and have him a warm embrace. He returned the embrace.
"I've missed you, little sister!" Shadow stated, with joyful tears in his eyes.
"You even admitted to me last night, your father killed my family as a child, therefore you were also responsible for this, because you took over his evil doing! That is why I had to do what I did, because I had nothing to live off! I had to fight to keep myself and my friends alive!" Sonic snarled at Scourge.
"I have had enough of this nonsense! Guards, arrest this hedgehog, now!" Scourge demanded.
The guards however just stood in their positions. Scourge turned to face his guards in surprise.
"Did you men not hear me?! I said arrest him!" Scourge yelled.
"Sorry, Your Highness, but we refuse to do it." One of the guards said.
"It is true, King Alfred. Scourge wanted to demolish your kingdom, and kill everyone here. We wanted to tell you, but he threatened to kill our families if we didn't obey him." the second guard announced.
The audience gasped in surprise, and then started to boo Scourge.
"Well, I must say, this is absolutely disappointing of you, Scourge! I will go by what my daughter said, this wedding is officially off, and I will not allow a murderous scum to marry my daughter! You are hereby banished from my kingdom, and Shadow is reinstated in his position as Captain of the Guards!" Alfred yelled in rage.
Shadow smiled in relief, and Amy hugged him tightly, and Rouge kissed his cheek.
"Now you have two choices, Scourge. Either you leave this palace in peace, or worse! Because we will not bow to the like of you, not even me! I refuse to bow to you!" Sonic yelled.
Scourge was stunned silent. His guards turned on him, his secret was out, and his plans to take over this kingdom fell right before him.
"You have broken my heart, Scourge. I looked at you as a son. And all this time, you wanted to harm my kingdom. Well, without this have and to hold moment today, you will NEVER be the king I hoped you'd be!" Alfred said crossly.

(Alfred singing)

"No! You can't do this to me!" Scourge yelled in rage.

(Alfred singing, audience vocalizing)
I could not bleed, It'll turn red
My hate for you now grows strong
Deceived, I know what you've said
No more to have and to hold (Ah, ah)
Hollow hearted weak soul
You deserve nothing else
Not more to have and to hold

Scourge grunted in rage, and then he made his way towards Alfred and looked at him face to face.
"No, Daddy!" Amy pleaded.
"Don't worry, Amy, I've got this!" Sonic called, as he took his sword, and ran towards Scourge.
Amy could only watch on, along with Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Rouge, and of course the audience around them.
"Tails, Knuckles, go save the bridesmaids at the altar!" Sonic called out.
"Got it! Tails replied.
"On our way!" Knuckles called.
When they rushed to the altar, Knuckles lifts Tikal bridal style, and Tails does the same to Cream. After they grabbed them, they ran back to the entrance of the hall, and placed them down next to Amy.

(Scourge singing)
Wicked game is online
I know what's on your mind
Downfall every time

Scourge then took out his sword quietly.

(Alfred singing)
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I've lost all the love
Yeah, yeah, yeah
For you, it's now a blur
You've killed my royal trust, and it hurts
.
Scourge then raised his sword in the air, and Alfred saw this with fear in his eyes. Scourge gave him an evil smile.

(Scourge singing)
It hurts, yes it hurts
.
Scourge then was about to slash Alfred with his sword, but suddenly Sonic stood in front of Scourge, and he used his own sword to block Scourge's sword to ever hitting himself or Alfred. Scourge gasps in surprise.

(Sonic singing, audience vocalizing)
I could not bleed, It'll turn red

Deceived, I know what you've said
No more to have and to hold

Knuckles came from behind Alfred, and grabs a hold of him, and pulls him to safety. He brings Alfred to where Amy was, and Amy hugs Alfred for dear life, in tears of relief.

(Alfred singing)
Nobody, answer your call
You're in denial
Now you'll stand here alone
And now you still wonder why
Screaming, there's nobody home
You're bleeding
Killed our royal trust, and it hurts
.
Scourge only gave Sonic an angry glare, and they started sword fighting around the palace. The swords collide, clinging and clanging, the audience all made space, as they didn't want to be in the way of getting chances of being slashed.

(Scourge singing)
It hurts

Sonic and Scourge hold their swords in place, as they collide once again to one another, and they glare angrily at one another again.

(Sonic singing)
I could not bleed, It'll turn red

Deceived, I know what you've said

Scourge suddenly punches Sonic in the face with the free hand, and Sonic drops his sword, and falls to the floor. Scourge then points his sword at where Sonic's heart was located on his chest.
Everyone gasped in horror.
"SONIC, NO!" Amy screamed.
"I am not standing here to watch this!" Tails called, as he ran towards Scourge.
"Neither am I!" Knuckles called, as he follows Tails.
"Let's end this!" Shadow finished, as he also follows.

(Audience singing)
Ah, ah, ah, ah
.
"I knew you were weak, Blue! I gave you the chance to leave this place, but you picked the hard way. Goodbye, Sonic!" Scourge chuckles evilly.

(Scourge singing)
Hollow hearted and weak soul
You deserve nothing else
.
Scourge raised his sword, about ready to slash Sonic, but suddenly, he groans in pain, and Sonic could only open his eyes in shock. Bits of blood splatters on Sonic's face. He looks closer, and he sees three sword blades through him. One through each chest, and one through his stomach.
Scourge looks down, and he sees the blades through his body. He whimpers, as he struggles to breathe. The audience even gasped in shock, and Amy, Cream, Rouge, and Tikal also looked on in shock, and even Alfred was surprised.

(Shadow singing)
Not more to have and to hold

Sonic then reaches for his sword, and slowly stands up. Scourge couldn't do anything, as he was too weak to move. Sonic lifts his sword up.
"This may ruin my reputation, but for this moment, I'll make this an exception! Have a nice afterlife, IN HELL!" Sonic yells in rage.
After that, he swung his sword round, and decapitates Scourge's head off his shoulders. The audience, Alfred, Amy, Cream, Rouge and Tikal all gasped in horror, because this was all too gruesome.
Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow let go of their swords, and Scourge's lifeless body falls to the ground. After his body landed, the three all pulled their swords off his body, and the four then placed their swords back into their scabbard.
