I know, I know, I know! This was supposed to be posted yesterday! But in my defence, I have a life and in that life, I have stuff to do. So suck it up and deal with it! Enjoy the chapter :)

Marinette's House

What time is it? I look over to see that it's 6 a.m. I'm up now, might as well go and make waffles or something for breakfast. I get up and head downstairs careful to not wake up Tikki. I take out the waffle maker and get to work.

10 Minutes Later

"Marinette, is that you?" I hear my mother say from down in the bakery.

"Yeah, I decided to make waffles after realizing that I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. Want one?" I ask her.

"Sure, I'll take a couple down for your father and me" I hand her the plate of waffles after grabbing a couple for Tikki and me. I watch her go back downstairs and then take the few waffles remaining up to my room, ready to work on Chloe's present.

2 Hours Later

OMG! Chloe's bag is the cutest thing ever and it's just sooo Chloe! She's gonna love it. I grab some yellow tissue paper, wrap up the bag and then place it into a small box. I find some gold wrapping paper and wrap the box. I feel like it's missing something though. But what? RIBBON! I search through my stash and find some thick black ribbon and tie it into a giant bow then glue it to the top of the wrapped box. I take a glance at the clock and realize that I was supposed to get lunch with Kagami 10 minutes ago!

"Shit." At least I'm already dressed. I quickly grab my coat and purse and call Tikki.

"Tikki! Let's go!" I shoot Kagami a quick text saying I'm gonna be late and ask if she could order for me. At least we won't have to wait extra long for our food.

At A Small Sushi Place

"Ooh! This looks good!" I exclaim to Kagami seconds after sitting down. I see that she ordered a large platter for us to share.

"Okay, no small talk. Have you confessed yet?" I know exactly what she's talking about but I really don't want to tell her I haven't especially because of the promise I made to her and Luka.

"Confessed what?" I say hoping she'll give it up.

"Don't try that on me. I know you know exactly what I'm talking about." Oh shit.

"Noooo?"

"WHAT!? YOU SPECIFICALLY SAID 'I WILL CONFESS TO ADRIEN BEFORE CHRISTMAS, I PROMISE" WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT?!"

"So, how are things with you and Luka."

"DON'T YOU DARE CHANGE THE TOPIC!"

"I just haven't built up the courage. Besides, there still are 2 days until Christmas."

"Mari, you've got to tell him. What'll happen if he starts dating someone else? Won't you regret not telling him sooner?"

"I really want to, I do. It's just..."

"It's just what Mari?"

"I-I I just can't." I feel the tears start coming but I just let them.

"Mari, you can! You are amazing. You've designed stuff for Jagged Stone and even Mr. Agreste likes you. If Adrien doesn't see that he's an idiot but you still need to do it."

"A-alright just not yet."

"Mari, you're impossible." I start to giggle uncontrollably and soon Kagami joins in.

"Soooo, how are things with Luka?" I say with a smirk.

"MARINETTE DUPAIN CHENG!" She screams laughing along with me.

Likey or no likey? I decided to show a little bit of Kagami's soft side. Anyway, that's all for today. I'ma get another update out as soon as I can! Bye for now! :)
