Josh went through the next few pictures, "I don't know if you've had any major interactions with these people from your time on the show, so this might be short. What do you think of people like Izzy, Justin, Katie, and Leshawna, and Noah?"
The 5 pictures were put out in front of her, and she had a relatively blank expression on her face, "I never had much time to speak with Izzy. We were on opposite tribes on "Island", and she was friends with Eva at Playa de Losers, so there was a lot of respectable distance there. Izzy was in the game for the first half of "Action", and once she was booted for good, I went into the game for the second half. Izzy was a lot more subdued throughout "World Tour", which I found to be very shocking, and I was worried about her when she got hit with the plane. She just seemed so off that season, and it was weird to watch. Justin was someone who I was always annoyed by. He was just very lazy and dumb, while not being any help through any of the challenges. Trying to start a discussion with him was so hard, since there was nothing behind his good looks. He said that I had "deformities" while trying to flirt with me. I was glad to toy with him, so he could get booted. No one knew this, but I was actually friends with Katie during "Island", and we bonded from the dodgeball and talent show challenges. I was advising her that she needed to learn how to be her own person, but then she took it as me trying to tear her friendship with Sadie, and she snapped at me, so I was fine with booting her by the next challenge."
"So you said that you had somewhat of a friendship with Leshawna in "Island", but it didn't last. Bridgette also mentioned in her interview that you two were friends before her and Leshawna became friends. What exactly happened?" Josh genuinely asked with interest.
Her eyes squinted, as she was recalling the memories, "We actually did get along in the beginning. While Bridgette and Gwen would hang out with their men, Leshawna decided to sit down by me, and we engaged in some genuine conversations. She told me how hard it was growing up from the projects, and I told her that she can do anything if she put her mind to it. She was talking about how she wanted to help the less fortunate, and actually talked to me about politics, which I was shocked by. At the time, she really did have a motherly/sisterly vibe that made you just want to speak to her. Leshawna was telling me to lighten up, and while she didn't care for Duncan, she should give herself a chance. Leshawna told me that she was getting secret letters, and I knew it was Harold, but I wanted her to figure it out on my own. Apparently she told Duncan what I said about him not being a bad guy, which was somewhat annoying, but sweet enough again. I said on the Playa de Losers episode that I had nothing bad to say about her. We fell out soon after that."
Josh didn't really know how to react, "So... why did this fallout happen? If I remember correctly, you two hated one another when you debuted on "Action", but you barely had any interaction since the finale."
"Gwen mentioned it to me in "World Tour", but I noticed that Leshawna tended to have... pick-me moments regarding Harold. Through the end of Playa de Losers, she claimed that I should move on from the lawsuit, and that I had no right to attack Harold, or to bully him for this long. What was even more confusing was that she broke up with Harold despite all of this, so I found a lot of her motives confusing. It's even worse because they LITERALLY RIGGED HER OUT OF THE SEASON. The clip of her talking about all of us was sent to the people in the Aftermaths, so I had it in my possession. I took HUGE offense when she joined Beth and Lindsay in trying to end the show by me coming on. It was even worse because she was hooking up with Harold behind the scenes, but would push him off when the cameras were on. We got into a BIG argument after the caveman argument, where I called her for being fake as hell, while she called me vengeful and petty. Everything she told me in "Island" was a lie, and she was the FIRST person who showed me that people on that cast ALWAYS take my kindness for weakness. Not only that, but she tried stopping my lawsuit from going forward even BEFORE the season. I told her then that siding against me will be the biggest mistake she will make, and I got her out the first opportunity I could, which I REVELED in. "
"You mentioned earlier that she wanted you to make up with Gwen at Bridgette's wedding, which happened last year. Why would Leshawna care?"
Courtney started shivering, recalling a tough memory, "Alejandro pretty much declared his love for Heather to Tyler, which I overheard with my own ears, with him telling Tyler that I meant nothing to him, outside of making the nice gesture of visiting him. I also saw him and Heather give longing looks at one another, and looked like they were going to hook up. I was being gaslight by Duncan and Gwen, who was also flaunting their relationship in m face to get a rise out of me. I stormed out, I started sobbing controllably, and f... fell down a set of stairs. Leshawna just so happened to be coming up the stairs, asked me what happened, tended my injuries, and I told her... everything about Alejandro, Heather, Duncan, and Gwen. She was having issues with Gwen due to Duncan at that time, so she saw my perspective. We started slightly getting along during that time, and she told me that I need to move on. There was no friendship, but there was no grudge by the time of the wedding."
He couldn't help himself but smile, as he watched Courtney somewhat form a smile, "It's nice that you're a bit more relaxed. I know that talking about your meltdown wasn't easy. Anyways, Lindsay is someone that you did not get along with. How do you feel about her now?"
The picture of the busty blonde was handed to her, and all she could do was roll her eyes, "No one on earth should be as dumb as she is. On our first season, I found her to be distracting, since she was blatantly hooking up with Tyler, and that was an issue, since he could tell her stuff about our team, and vice versa. We did not interact much, and I found her pathetic for following around Heather, and throwing Beth under the bus for no purpose, though Beth also deserved it. Her getting close to Sadie was the final straw in me refusing to get to know Lindsay. Once we got eliminated, she had the NERVE to tell me that I would've been voted out soon afterwards, and I had no reason to be mad about being rigged out, since no one liked me, which... shocked and insulted me, since I was likable on that season, and to hear it from a dummy like her, who wasn't even liked herself... perplexed me."
Courtney continued with her rant, but not before taking a long breath, "Her and Beth tried to get the entire show shut down because I returned, and I found it PERSONALLY insulting that even after I had immunity, they ALL voted for me, and was mad that I voted Owen, who LOST US THE CHALLENGE. I could not believe the idiots I was working with. She especially pissed me off, because I have to work hard for EVERYTHING I have to get even HALF of the credit and rewards for it, and all she had to do was talk in her STUPID WHINY VOICE and SHOW HER BREASTS for her to get everything handed to her. The superhero challenge was a PRIME example of this. Everyone else had to create original personas/costumes, and I put on an ENTIRE SHOW, but she was rewarded for dressing like Wonder Woman. She said that I had an ashy complexion, which could be taken as racist, and thought that talking to a door would cause it to open. During the investigator episode, I was HUMOURED with her trying to outsmart me, and it was SO FUN playing her TIME after TIME after TIME. It was nice to know that she didn't like being dumb 100% of the time. She was rewarded for mediocrity once again during the paparazzi part of her last challenge. Overall, I do not like her, and I was astounded with how much worse she got in "All-Stars". Like, she couldn't push a cart WHATSOEVER. She also felt the need to give me advice on how to handle Duncan, when she chose to forget and remember Tyler's existence over a period of several seasons. Everyone was sick of her, she was not making connections with anyone, and I think she was having issues with Tyler, so we all voted her out first. I also don't respect her because she flirted with several men while she was in a relationship with Tyler, and she DID sleep with some of them."
She then looked at Noah's picture, "I don't think of Noah. He was one of the people who gaslight me, acting like I was voted out normally. He was friends with Eva, whined and complained about everything during "Playa de Losers", so I never liked him. What's interesting about Noah is that he went to MY LAWYERS before the season, because he knew that they were good at what they did. They told me about this, and I asked Noah when we were on "World Tour" about why he would need to contact my lawyers, since they told me that he wanted to block "someone" from joining the new season. I soon came to realize that it was Alejandro and Sierra, which I DID tell them about. He soon tried to curse me out about it. You could tell from watching that season that Noah was trying to put on a show, and was trying to be a famewhore."
Josh moved on to grab Owen's picture to give to her, "Owen is next, and I've had some... mixed opinions on him so far. What do you think of him? I know that things were definitely tense during "Action", and you were booted right after him in "World Tour", so you must have interacted with him quite a bit."
"Now that I'm thinking about it, I was pretty nice to Owen once I arrived at Wawanakwa. We did not speak much during the season, mainly due to there being any opportunity, but I noticed that he was gross very quickly." Quick breathing became more imminent as she started to stress out more and more, "What... IRRITATED me was that everyone felt bad for Owen, but no one felt bad for me. Owen NOT ONLY LOST the challenge for everyone, but he put ALL OF US in physical harm with his meltdown. But they all decided to vote me out, and claimed that I was robbed. Even if I wasn't there, Owen would have still caused them harm, and lost them the challenge, so he would've been booted anyways. It just sh... SHOWS how hypocritical everyone was. People then started comparing my situation to his situation; feeling bad for him, which pissed me off. I came back IN SPITE of production, not BECAUSE of production, and I thought it was unfair, since he was voted off fair and square. It became clear to me that he was a HUGE producers pet, because he technically wasn't even a contestant. I found the situation very suspicious, and once Harold let the cat out of the bag once he was eliminated, everything added up. I remember in "World Tour", Alejandro started complaining about him pretty heavily, and I told him about how DEEP the producer favoritism went in Owen's favor, so he had to plot around the producers to finally boot him in Niagara. I also think that's why he ended up booting Tyler first; to fight off the producers for a bit."
Sadie's picture was given to her, and Josh made a slight cackle, "I think you might be the first, and probably only person, outside of Katie and Sadie themselves, where I've had to introduce them separately. What do you think of her now, after all these years?"
"Oh my goodness," she complained, smacking her hand in her face, "Sadie disliked me from Day 1, because I DARED to have a few conversations with Katie on her own. She got really insecure, and kind of aggressive with me, and this was before Katie was booted. I just thought that she was very desperate, and didn't want to be her own person, while being very useless in challenges. She convinced Katie to distance herself from me and everyone else, and we voted out Katie, causing her to latch onto Bridgette for a bit, before she moved onto Harold. Sadie was SO UP HER OWN HEAD AND BUTT that she COMPLETELY blew that last challenge with the apples. Outside of the few arguments that she already picked with me, and a few others, Sadie's time was up, and I REVELED in her getting the boot. Once I was rigged out of the game right afterwards, she rubbed it in my face, claiming that it was karma for me bullying her. Sadie got everyone to claim that I deserved what happened, and Harold arrived, where he told her what happened. She mentioned it during an argument we were having, and we got into a physical altercation, and she was mad because Katie didn't involved like she thought she would. We continued getting into it during the first half of "All-Stars", as I was trying to speak to Trent about what happened with our partners, but Sadie always intervened, and poisoned him against me, and blocking every opportunity."
Josh just let out a laugh, "That's so petty. Anyways, your fellow Amazon Sierra is next. How did you feel about her during your two seasons on the show? She didn't seem to annoy you as much as she did Heather, Gwen, or even Cody."
"Well, she was annoying and certifiable, I don't want people to forget that. But in general, she wasn't completely awful to me, at least compared to the others. One of the ways that Sierra would get in good with people is telling them what the fans thought of them, and using her Total Drama knowledge to her advantage. So she would bond with me by telling me that "Duncney" was the most popular, how she saw our perspective with events that happened in the prior two seasons, and she used our annoyance with production to bond with us as well. Behind the scenes, she would poison us against Heather, so she could avoid being the first boot, since she's a newbie. We did fight in Greece, because I insulted Cody for being the weakling he is, and she caused us to lose that part of the challenge. I was thinking of targeting her, but once the... situation was revealed, we both had similar interests in getting Gwen out, so we became closer due to that. Once that happened, I had no use for her, and she started annoying the heck out of me, so we didn't align or speak much afterwards. In "All-Stars", she didn't use the fanbase stuff to her advantage, since I guess the novelty wore off due to not being a newbie. She became a lot more weird this season, like taking pictures of people when they were asleep, eating food off the floor, and seeing her deteriorate was... disturbing to say the least. Cody was a lame back then, and he continued to be even more of a lame, so I don't know why she ruined her second chance, especially when she was getting along with the "ROTI" folks initially."
"So, Trent is next. I would have thought that you two would team up, or hook up to piss off Duncan and Gwen, but that never happened."
Courtney lifted her finger up almost as a way to interrupt, "I WAS planning on teaming up with him to see if we should, or could plot our revenge, and this was in "Action". In general, I did not care much for his music-bro schtick on the island, and I honestly thought he was a simp, who made his entire identity about Gwen. All he did at Playa was sing about Gwen, and I thought it was really pathetic. If he actually took charge, and TRIED to be strategic, he could have made it a lot further, so I called him a loser by choice in the Aftermath for that reason. I tried speaking to him during the Aftermaths before competing, but either I was interrupted by Sadie, or he looked VERY uninterested. Through the Aftermaths, and seeing how everyone started gassing his head up, his douchebag side started to show, which he continued within the Drama Brothers. What I WILL spill is that he did send me some... interesting messages before "World Tour"."
He ended up gasping from the last bit of tea, "Please spill. What did he say to you? We want to know. It has to be juicy..." Josh moved closer to Courtney, gave a sheepish grin, and tapped the table in anticipation.
"Well, it was after Duncan and I broke up. He sent me quite a few DMs actually, and some of them were... salacious." She saw Josh start to drool in desperation, "One of them was friendly at first, with him saying that he finally wants to have the conversation that I was trying to have on the Aftermaths. I congratulated him on his success, and that he's getting the shine he deserves. I told him that he looks good, and he said that I did too, while also claiming that I deserve MUCH better than Duncan. I was impressed with the package he sent me..." Courtney sing-sung the revelation.
Josh started moaning, "OOOHHHH, he sent you dick pics? Did you sent him some tits and ass pics? Did you tell Gwen? Duncan?"
Courtney just smirked, and softly laughed, "I was thinking about doing it, but I decided not to. I told him that he has a nice... weeny, and that his body was looking tighter. Trent and I had a small discussion at the "TDA" special, and we agreed that nothing was going to happen. When Duncan and I got together, I told him about what happened, and I think it's one of the reason why he still hates Trent to this day. I did tell Gwen during "World Tour", and while I could tell she was bothered, she had no right to be mad, since we both were single."
"Alright, so Tyler is the last person from the original generation that we need to talk about," Josh told her, glad that he was closer to finishing with her. "You were either being a hypocrite with flirting a taken man, or badgering him. What's your perspective on this?"
Defensiveness immediately came up, "Number one, I was a single. Number two, Lindsay was flirting, and probably sleeping with other people in "World Tour" AND "Action". Hell, she was even flirting with Trent on Boney Island right after Tyler was booted in "Island". She had no reason to complain if Tyler entertained someone else, with everything she did while they were in a relationship. From what I can remember in our first season, Tyler was a useless scrub. He spent THE ENTIRE TIME flirting and hooking up with Lindsay, which was a conflict of interest, since they were on opposite teams, and both are blabbermouths. We did not want the Gophers to know about our dynamics. He was doing this in the first episode, and I was trying to save myself, but no one went for it. Tyler put Lindsay over the Killer Bass, and while I demanded that he didn't play in the challenge, he had NO RIGHT to blow us off to get blown by Lindsiot. I don't know why someone as strong and conventionally attractive as Tyler was SUCH a dolt."
Josh raised his eyebrows, "Wait, did you just admit to finding Tyler attractive? So is that the reason why you were mad at Lindsay in "Action"? And was his looks, and wanting revenge on Lindsay the main reason you tried to flirt with him in "World Tour"?"
"Josh, you need to stop smoking the crack Blaineley is on. Tyler is not a bad-looking guy, but I was not in love with him, or in like with him. Lindsay had NOTHING to do with my plot with Tyler. Plus, I barely spoke to him on the season, but he did deserve to be known as his own entity, instead of just being Lindsay's boyfriend. I did tell him that after Lindsay was booted. I was mad that I was humiliated by my boyfriend and friend, and I (as well as Al) thought it would be a good idea to flirt with someone. Owen is disgusting, Cody is not cute, plus Sierra would kill me, and Alejandro wasn't an option at that point. Leshawna told the girls how he could fuck, and how gentlemanly he was, so if I were to make Duncan jealous with someone, Tyler was a good option. He decided to stay faithful to Lindsay, though she wouldn't have cared, and I got frustrated, so I threw him out of the plane. Plus, Alejandro has more definition, and is smarter anyways," she spat defensively, and crossing her arms.
All he could do was "tsk", before getting another pile of pictures, which represented the "Revenge" cast that she played with on "All-Stars", "Alright Courtney. Now it's time to talk about the 7 contestants from the second generation that you ended up playing with. What are your thoughts on this person?"
She was handed a picture of Cameron, and the picture was instantly ripped to pieces, "I DO NOT like him at all, and I NEVER did. He was very weak and uncooperative during the time I was on the Heroic Hamsters, and he thought that playing his pity card would work on me; it did not. I also found his relationship with Sierra to be EXTREMELY inappropriate. Him winning his last season, and the popularity coming from it went to his head, and he started whining about everything a lot more. Once I was moved onto the Vultures, the others made it clear to me that they were annoyed by him, and saw through his antics, so when he joined the team, I was relieved, since he would be the "new target", and I reminded him that his victimizing antics would NOT work on this team."
"Hmmmm... you're not the first person who mentioned his inappropriate relationship with Sierra... I have to put on a pin on that in the future. Anyways, was him kissing you without permission, and accusing you of kissing him the flame that started the fire?"
Courtney felt herself getting agitated over and over again, "Absolutely. What... what he pulled was a classic case of assault, and victim blaming. For someone who proclaimed himself to be a HERO and a GOOD PERSON, that was something that not even the FOULEST TD VILLAINS have ever done. And you want to know what makes it worst? He NEVER apologized for it, when I asked him to in the "All-Stars" premiere party, and he acted like nothing was wrong. I was going to beat him up like Al and Heifer did at that same party, but I went to my old tricks, and... tried to file a lawsuit. Somehow, the producers managed to get it blocked, and I told them off as well. Gwen still being friends with that piece of shit is also a major reason why we will never be friends."
Going in alphabetical order, he pulled out two pictures, but he was sure Courtney never had much interaction with either one of them, "So, Jo and Lightning are next, but I don't recall if you've had any interaction with them."
"No... no I have not. We were on different tribes, and they were both booted before I moved onto the Vultures. From the little I saw, they were both kind of annoying, and you could tell that they knew that they didn't belong with the cast. They weren't villainous, heroic, or iconic enough, so I was not shocked when they were booted early."
Josh took out Mike's picture to put on the table, "So Mike is the next person on the list. Half of your interactions were probably with Mal, so you could get confused. What do you think of him overall?"
An unimpressed expression was on her face, looking at the picture, "When he was himself, I just thought he was very annoying, and wasn't helpful. He seemed very dependent on Zoey to a scary amount, like he has no identity without Zoey. It was obvious that he was very scared of me, but out of the three, he annoyed me the least. What I DID NOT like was that he came on the show when he knew that he was in the middle of a relapse. They didn't show that he knew ahead of time that he was relapsing, because the producers would be liable. The mal stuff was very irritating, but what took me over the edge is that I later found out that THE PRODUCERS gave him the list that I made. You never see Mal find it on camera, which would usually be the case with stuff like this. It wasn't on camera BECAUSE they gave it to him. They clearly wanted a Mike/Zoey finale, and I was in the way of it. I tried to sue AGAIN during this time, but my lawsuit was shut down AGAIN. And you wonder why I had nothing to do with the show after this..."
"Alright, Sam is next."
"I didn't know why he was there... I mean, he was booted 5th or something like that? If they needed a pre-merger, Brick made it further, and was more liked anyways. He for sure would have been a better teammate. Sam was out of his element, and he was talking about wanting to be mutated like his girlfriend, which I found to be horrible, since to me, it seems like he only likes her so she can be his monster experiment like the video games he plays. He was disappointed that nothing happened to him in Boney Island, so I didn't feel entitled in sharing my food with him, when EVERYONE ELSE gave him food. I will admit that I was scared in the leech challenge, and used him as a shield, I'm not too proud to admit that. We don't have any sort of interaction though."
Josh saw Zoey's picture, and wanted to stir up some mess, "From my recollection, it seemed like you were VERY pressed and bothered over Zoey from the beginning. You saw her as a threat from the beginning, and would do anything to undermine her, and your defensiveness eventually caused you to lose Gwen to her. How do you feel that she beat you, and took your friend?"
She huffed and cackled at the idea of being jealous, "Are you serious? You are out goddamn mind to assume that. There really was nothing to be jealous of. While watching "ROTI", I noticed that she was the only one who really escaped the vagicide treatment, and when she joined this season, she was a lot stronger, which I noticed. I gave her props on that, but I didn't want to work with her. To me, it seemed like she went out of her way to be good friends and nice to the women this season, she she talked about how she caught flack from dismissing people like Dawn and Dakota last season, who tried to befriend her. Due to that, I did not feel like her nice treatment to me was genuine, and she eventually proved it. Gwen was telling me that Zoey was talking about me once the merge started, and was poisoning Gwen against me."
"That's... not how I remembered it. Zoey was trying to be nice to you, thought that you were trying to help Sam during the leech challenge, only for you to show your ass. She was talking nice to, and about you the entire season, and you never gave her a chance. She then gave you credit for being the only person to kiss two people in the same episode, and she didn't tell Gwen about it, but you did yourself. You only tried working with her after you lost all of your allies, though you left her in the middle of a swamp. She would have no incentive to working with you after that. YOU started the conflict with her, like many other conflicts over the franchise."
"SHUT UP JOSHUA. You know that SHE was the one who told Cameron that I was bragging about it, and how he did NOTHING WRONG? She and I ALSO got into it during the premiere party, and we almost went to blows. I saw the bad side that people like Anne Maria was mentioning a year back. Zoey wanted to talk trash on social media, but the ONE thing that I DON'T do is the social media banter. I gave her a cease-and-desist to shut her yap about me, and that was that."
Josh wanted to move onto the last person, and knew that it was going to be juicy, "Last but DEFINITELY not least, is Scott". He put the picture of her ex on the table, as he continued speaking, "He was your second relationship on "Total Drama", but like many interactions, you ruined it by drawing him as a rat. What was your relationship with him like, and how did you feel after the show about him? And you BETTER be honest."
Sweat started to form on her forehead, and her eyes started getting nervous for a brief moment, "What people don't know is that I actually met with Scott BEFORE "All-Stars", so I wasn't unfamiliar with him when the season started."
"Really?" the interviewer responded, clearly shocked.
"Due to the weird scheduling of "Revenge" being filmed many months before the season aired, and the original cast having to stay on the yacht, while some of us did cameos, it caused a lot of inter-mingling between the generations, as they joined our yacht for a bit after they filmed their finale. Scott somehow got my number, and after a few months, he called me, because he wanted to sue the show for his injuries. He tried reaching out to Alejandro, but the devil rejected him, so he reached out to me, since I'm good with lawyers, and how to get to the network. We then met at a law firm, he got the information he needed, and was able to get the network to cover his costs and injuries, so he wouldn't sue."
Josh put his index finger on his thumb, "Now that you mention it, it does add up. You two seemed to have already had some comradery when you first moved over to the Villainous Vultures, and it didn't seem like you two just met."
Courtney rolled her eyes, "Thanks for stating the obvious, Wannablaineley. Anyways, he was the perfect candidate for an ally, since Alejandro and Heather were NOT options in my mind after what happened on the yacht, I was still mad at Gwen, and I had at least spoken to Scott within the last year. He soon made his crush on me known, liked seeing me take charge, and I had a... horrible affinity for bad boys, which is embarrassing in hindsight. Something about him was so ruggishly handsome, and it was not in a tryhard way like Duncan. I didn't like being by myself on a team with Alejandro, Heather (who would make fun of me for Alejandro rejecting me), and Gwen, so seeing him go to Boney Island a lot did make me... sad, ugh. Once he came back from Boney Island the second time, and held my hand to protect me, I grew wheezy. We started flirting extensively since then, and it felt good to have a man appreciate me for who I was, and to not gaslight me. He talked to me about his experience between seasons, and his background, which did cause me to see him in a different light. Right when things were going great, things fell apart because he was being an IDIOT, and fell for the producer's schemes."
"What producer schemes are you referring to?"
"The whole "Sundae Muddy Sundae" episode was a plot from the producers to get Mike and Zoey to the end. I've stated all day that the producers have NEVER been on my side, and I've always done well IN SPITE of the producers, and never BECAUSE of them. I did draw Scott as a rat, but I've called him a rat to his FACE beforehand, and I wanted him in the final 2. Him deciding to turn on me at that moment did him NO GOOD since NO ONE ELSE was taking him to the final 2, and because of that one move, he didn't make it to the finals either. I also could not believe that he believed MIKE and CAMERON over the stupid kiss, where I was ASSAULTED. He hated those two ALL LAST SEASON, and they dragged him to the coals in the press while "Revenge" was airing, but now their word is golden? I was disappointed, and honestly very hurt that the fell for the producer's scheme, and I could not speak to him again."
Josh rolled his eyes, "I knew you were going to say that, and I wish you didn't have to force me to get out more receipts." He went to the back to grab a set of files from the producers, and brought them back to the desk, "Receipt #1. You two cuddling at the premiere party, ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK, where you thought no one saw you." A picture of Scott and Courtney looking very cozy, and her leaning her head in his neck was displayed, causing Courtney's eyes to get dilated, and blush.
Courtney was trying to figure out something to say, "I... we... the picture is very dark, and that could have been during the season, but when the cameras were off. There's no date".
"Fine, since you want to play that game. We went back through the both of your Instagrams during the time the season was filmed, and MANY of your posts that were done in the same day were done in the SAME LOCATION, despite you and him NEVER being in a picture together". He put down several screenshots of the two's Instagrams, that had the same dates, locations, and background settings.
"That... that is an invasion of privacy," Courtney replied, getting more and more nervous, and her palms were getting sweaty. She didn't really know how to respond to that.
Josh got out more receipts, "We have pictures of you driving to a rural area, and why would someone like you drive over there? This was a few years after "All-Stars". We also have pictures of Scott flying over to where you went to school, and would walk into the apartment complex" He quickly put down both sets of pictures, "You would be surprised with what you can find under archived social media pictures. And both sets were AFTER "All-Stars". So, there is definitive proof that you NOT ONLY had consistent contact with Scott for YEARS after the show, but you two were dating as well. Are you going to confess? We also managed to get some DMs that were leaked, but I won't release them, for both of your sakes."
Panic started to take over, and she didn't know what to do, but the longer time went on, the more she felt like she was going to burst, so she did so, "FINE, FINE, FINE. I'll tell you what happened. So after the balloons were popped, and we made our way back to Toronto (everyone but AleHeifer, Cameron/Gwen, and Zoke were sent home earlier) Scott apologized to me for what happened, said that he missed me when I was gone, and that he shouldn't have fallen for the producers games. I didn't respond to him at all, and let him hanging. A few months later was the premiere, and he... looked really sexy, and I knew that I looked really sexy. He was eyeing me, which made me feel good, and we both had quite a bit of alcohol. Neither one of us were really speaking to anyone, whether it was from the cast, or the others from our generations that didn't make it onto the season, so we spent the time together. One thing lead to another, and I woke up next to him the next morning. We agreed to not post anything about the other on social media, and at first, it was just a bunch of fun between the two of us. When the show finally ended with "Pahkitew", we agreed to date, but we wanted it to be private. It lasted for quite a while actually, some years."
"Years? That's... very shocking, and interesting actually. But I pulled the receipts of you and Duncan hooking up at Gidgette's wedding last year. Were you still with Scott? You two had to have broken up, so what happened?"
"Scott and I dated for about 4-5 years, and it was going well. I finished law school, and was starting my own firm, but Scott didn't know what he wanted to do yet, and he knew that I was not going to carry him. Things got a bit complicated when we started talking about family, marriage, etc. We initially agreed that maybe we should just end our relationship, and be friends-with-benefits, so when I did bump into Duncan, which was a GOODBYE, I was single. Eventually, we stopped with the benefits part as well."
Josh was glad that he was finishing up, "Now that we've covered everything, it's time for you to explain what you've learned from "Total Drama", and what you've been up to since the show."
Courtney took an easy breath, with everything finishing up, "Once "All-Stars" finished, I focused right into school. I finished my Bachelors within 2 years after the show, and got my Masters within another few years. I volunteered with a few firms, and have been in the process of starting my own law firm, where only females would be hired, with also there being some focus on female minority lawyers, since we aren't given nearly as much visibility or opportunities. Since the show, I also took some anger management classes, since in order for me to thrive in my career, losing my temper in the ways that I have over the course of the show would hinder me, more than help. Overall, I've had a very lowkey presence since the show, which is what I needed. Outside of Bridgette, Geoff, and Scott, I haven't spoken to, or seen anyone since either "All-Stars" or "Revenge of the Island", and I haven't met any of the newbies that I didn't compete with, so I've done a great job with distancing myself. With Geoff and Bridgette's wedding, I was able to make peace with a few people, which is nice, though I am sure I'm going to get ripped a new one for going off about Geoff, but he deserves it, and I can handle it. If these interviews are a way to convince us into getting involved in another season, I will not participate. I really like where I am in my life, and where I am with the people I have interacted with, and want it to stay that way."
"That sounds fair. Thank you for coming to do the interview, though I had to take the harshest methods yet. You may be..." Josh was in the middle of saying goodbye, but her phone started ringing. He tried to see who it was, and reached out to grab it, but Courtney smacked his hand, and quickly grabbed the phone.
She quickly picked it up, and got up out of her seat, "Yeah, hi. Why are you calling me now? You are lucky that I just ended my interview with Josh. How was it? A lot of stuff that I DID NOT want to be known to the public ended up being exposed, due to people sending my business to them. If you were a part of it, I WILL castrate you, and NOT in the way you like it." Courtney quickly got her stuff, and left without saying goodbye to anyone, still very pissed, and storming off with an angry passion with her legs.
All Josh could do was chuckle, "Well, that was fun. I wonder if it's Scott or Duncan she's rambling onto. Now THAT is how you pull receipts and expose someone. We knew that she was going to be a rough one, but I think we got the most challenging out of the way pretty early."
