8. Chapter 8

For days on end, Varian studied the Moonstone and its capabilities. It was only then he knew that this was exactly what he needed to bring his father back.

He tested out the incantation several times, but made sure that Cassandra was never around to avoid accidentally hurting her. Then it hit him. Did he like her?

No, Varian thought, With love comes trust and that's something that you'll never be ready for. Only after you free your father.
