"She's probably telling them right now. They're probably either hating the news or being excited." Scarlett tells Chris as they lay in bed together. Feeling the warmth of their skin. Chris is kissing scarletts arm up and down. Scarlett sits up and drapes her robe around her. She holds up her hand, "I'm engaged. I'm getting married" she yells and begins to jump up and down the bed. Chris laughs and tackles her down, "I can't wait to make you my wife. I love you." He says. Scarlett responds, "I love you more, Chris." And kisses him deeply. An hour later, Scarlett received a call from Lori. An hour later, Scarlett received a call from Lori. "Hi" She responded "Hi, honey. "How did it go?" Scarlett asks. Lori sighs, "it was a big shock for them. But, your little sister is thrilled. She already loves you. Lucas on the other hand. He is not mad, but he said he needed time to digest this." Lori says. Scarlett sighs, "I'm happy that there weren't any negative feelings or resentments. I of course love Alexa already. I just need to get to know Lucas." Scarlett says. "Yes, but I hope it won't be too hard." Lori says.

Scarlett gets back into bed with Chris. He's fast asleep and Scarlett takes the time to admire the man who's given her all the love in the world. She snuggles up against him and falls right back to sleep. The next morning Chris had left for NYC to finalize his moving arrangements and what not. Scarlett couldn't wait till the end of the month so she could be with Chris permanently. She also couldn't wait to start planning her wedding. While she was cleaning Scarlett had received a text from Alexa asking if she could come over. Scarlett gladly accepted the invitation and went to the Mendoza's. Scarlett is nervously standing at the Mendozas front door and as she's about to knock, Alexa answers the door. "Hi." Scarlett says and Alexa immediately hugs her. "I'm so happy that you're my sister." Alexa says. Scarlett smiles, "me too. I always knew you were special." She says as she walks into the home. Dave also greets Scarlett with open arms and gives her a hug. "You can't escape us now." He chuckles. Scarlett then asks, "where's Lucas and Lori?" Alexa and Dave share a look, "she's upstairs with him. The news was a tad shocking for him." Alexa confesses. "Would they mind if I went up there?" Scarlett asks. "I actually think it'll help. Go ahead."

Dave responds and points at the direction of the stairs. Scarlett walks up to his bedroom and knocks, "It's Scarlett, could I come in?" She asks. Lucas opens the door to her surprise and smiles at her. "Hi, are you okay?" She asks as she enters the room and was expecting Lori to be there, but she wasn't. "How are you feeling?" She asks Lucas. Lucas knew what she was alluding to. He chuckles, "I never thought In a million years that I would have another sister. Especially an older one. I never thought my mom, our mom, would have gotten pregnant at 16 either." He says. Scarlett smiles, "yeah, no one was prepared for my arrival." She jokes. "I just want you to know that I'm not here to replace anyone. I'm just here to get to know you both and our mother." She finishes sincerely. Lucas also knew she meant what she said and sat down next to her. "I know. I'm sorry you didn't get to grow up with mom." He says. Scarlett gives him a sad smile, "I am too. But, everything happens for a reason. I don't know if I'd be a doctor today or even met Chris if my life had been different. You have to focus on the silver lining sometimes. Or else the overthinking can kill you." She responds. She takes a look around his room and notices his microphone and music. "I sing too you know. We already share one interest." Scarlett says and Lucas smiles, "really!? That's awesome. Maybe we could jam together sometimes." He says. "I'd like that." She says. Scarlett can tell Lucas wants to ask her something, "Do you have something you'd like to say?" she asks carefully. Lucas shuffles in his seat, "How was it? Growing up with your dad when he was so young?" he asks. Scarlett smiles and looks at her hands, "It was good, hard, but good. If it wasn't for my grandparents I don't know what my dad would have done. He had to get a job after school to be able to help provide for me, but my grandparents mostly did the providing. I spent a lot of time with father, until I was sent to boarding school." Scarlett says. "Boarding school? How old were you when you left?" Lucas asks, "I was 8 years old. My grandparents were terrified of the public education system and were honestly afraid I would become brainwashed." she laughs, "but I thank them for sending me." she finishes. "I can't imagine being away from home and being that young." Lucas says. "Thank you for sharing that." he says and points towards the door to head downstairs. Scarlett smiles and follows his lead. Scarlett quickly holds on to the stairwell because she felt dizzy and was experiencing blurry vision. "Scar? Are you okay?" Alexa asks and Scarlett sat down on the nearest step and cupped her hands to her face, "yes, I'm okay. Can I have some water?" she tells Alexa. Lori and Dave walk in from the back patio, "Hey, honey. Are you okay?" Lori asks, kneeling down to Scarletts level. Scarlett looks up to Lori and weakly smiles. "Yes, I'm okay. I just got dizzy. Been a long day already." Scarlett responds. Lori rubs Scarletts back, "I think I should go home." Scarlett says. Lori immediately protests, "Absolutely not, if you don't feel good you're staying here. I'm going to take care of you." she says. "I promise, i'm fine." Scarlett says as she tries to get up but gets dizzy again. Lori walks her to the couch, "yeah, you're not going anywhere." She reprimands as she covers Scarlett with a blanket. Scarlett scoffs, "I've been a tad dehydrated lately. It's my fault." She says. "Doctor, doctor, you know how important water is!" Alexa scowls. "She's getting the blankets, you're really not going anywhere." Lucas says. "Oh fun." Scarlett says.
