The next day the twins sat down together, this time Rosalie passed by the lunch boxes and left

"What will they do with Edward's?" she asked Bella, suddenly making everyone at the table look at her.

"There is no Edward, I was called last night that he was not coming until further notice, he was staying with relatives in Alaska" his sister shrugged indifferently.

"And why didn't you tell me?

"Why should she? - Angela intervened - it's like vendor-buyer confidentiality, you're not related to them and you don't help her set it up.

"It is obvious that he likes Edward, you could help her..." interceded Angela

"She's curious about him, I won't help something so immature, I mean she only saw him yesterday, she's curious that's all".

"Well... - Ben participated in the talk - there are many girls who are still like him"

Bella wanted to protest, but Helen joined her in thanking their father with a big hug, she just said thank you and flashed an uncomfortable smile.

They got into their vehicles and drove to Forks High School, where the chocolate-eyed twin saw who she had been yearning for a week with her brothers.

"Will you sit with us?" Her sister pulled her out of her reverie.

"No, I don't want to impose too much, I'll sit with Jessica"

"As you wish, see you"

They went to class, the older one had biology in the first hour, while the younger one had that subject in the afternoon

Leaving class Helen saw her sister talking to Edward and suddenly he abruptly turned and walked away and Bella, utterly bewildered, has an expression of both intrigued and frustrated

In the parking lot, the sisters walked together again, Bella with a golden onion

Before they could go any further they watched as a van slipped across the ice, heading towards them, but in Helen's eyes it was the slow motion

[Danger detected. Do you want to activate the safety protocol?]

'Y... - when was about to answer, she observed Edward coming towards them - why would he do that? is for Bella?... he is looking at her' as thought only a few seconds passed and he was already in front of them stopping the van

'Too late to pass out'

The first thing was silence, if she concentrated he could hear his sister's heartbeat or were they his? and then came the screams, for Tyler Crowley, one of Newton's friends, for Bella and for her. All running towards the scene of the accident.

The relationship of the sisters is complicated, they seem to be strangers living under the same roof, but they try for their parents

Helen won't help Bella and her romance will be long gone
