"Missed you, Ruby," said Emerald as she ran over and wrapped her arms around the young girl to hugger.
"Missed you too, cutie," said Ruby before kissing Emerald.
"If you two are done with your little reunion, we have a Maiden to get to so we can put her out of her misery," said Cinder. Ruby then started to head toward the main school building.
"You're not going anywhere," said Winter as she cut their path off with a wall of ice.
"You really don't want to get in my way," said Ruby while turning back to face the others as Emerald handed her a new scythe. This one was a folded up black and silver scythe that looked like something the Grim Reaper would carry with a slim shaft and jagged edged blade.
"We're not just going to let you go and kill this Maiden person," said Blake.
"She's under the school, I sent you the layout so you three go ahead, I'll take care of my former teammates," said Ruby.
"Be careful, Ruby," said Emerald before Cinder opened a path in the ice with an explosion from the palm of her hand.
"Stop!" said Winter as she went to chase after them, but this time it was Ruby who cut her off.
"Don't go yet, we still have unfinished business!" said Ruby as she swung the scythe. However, a glyph from Weiss had appeared under Ruby who had managed to dodge it before she could be frozen.
"Ruby, pleace, there has to be something left of the old you in there," said Yang.
"Give it up Yang, the little sister you knew is dead," said Ruby as she tightened her grip on the scythe.
"I know that's not true, Miss. Rose," said Ozpin while fixing his glasses.
"No matter how dark something may seem, there will always be a spark of light somewhere, your mother knew that more than anyone," said Ozpin.
"Shut your mouth!" said Ruby as she charged at him, but was intercepted by Yang who blocked the scythe with one of her gauntlets.
"Sorry about this, sis," said Yang before punching Ruby in the gut with the other one, which sent her flying. As Ruby was flying backwards, she managed to stop herself by slamming the blade of her scythe into the ground.
"Hahaha, you better make this a good fight for me, because I've been looking forward to this for awhile now," said Ruby while wiping some blood she had coughed up from her mouth.
