"Now… it's time to get rid of you." Kilkapul said, as he returned Adamantoise to where it came.

"Wait, are you gonna fight us without your monster buddy?" Ristarte asked.

"You misunderstand, this old body would be no match for the hero and his allies. Which is why… I would like to show you all something." the demon in dwarfs body said, unfurling a bag to reveal the heads of his wife and son, scaring Elulu and Mash.

"You monster!" Mirror Match gripped. "You would kill your own family?!"

"A sad but necessary sacrifice to defeat the hero." Kilkapul said as he pulled out a knife. "There is a summon that requires a massive loss of life in order to be used… including the life of the summoner."

With that, the Heavenly King took the knife and plunged it into his own neck.

"With this… I call upon the most powerful summon of all...Crossed Thanatos!" Kilkapul called out in his death throws as he fell over, blood pooling around him as a magic circle lit up below him.

"Somehow, I get the feeling this Crossed Thanatos isn't anything to laugh at…" Ethox said in dread.

"Rista, get a portal open to the Divine Realm." Seiya said.

"What?! You want me to do that now?!" Ristarte asked.

"If this is for training measures, I doubt we have any time to prepare for what's coming." Mirror Match said.

"I don't see that portal opening…!" Seiya said as Kilkapuls body sunk into his own blood. A black winstorm then kicked up, before dissipating in a second to reveal a grim white spectre carrying a large cross with both hands.

Instinctively, Rista used her analysis skill, but all she registered in her vision was a bunch of random numbers, letters and symbols, almost like her power was on the fritz.

"Ghk! The magical force…! It… it's like nothing I've ever felt before!" Mirror Match paled.

"I can't make sense of its stats either… is it using Fakeout?" Ristarte asked.

"No, not that I can see. It could be just its regular stats." Seiya said.

"What does that mean?" Ristarte asked.

"It means this thing's gonna kick our ass!" Seiya said as the reaper drove its cross into the ground and sent a wave of rocks at the hero, which he deflected and entered a twin sword stance. "Double Wind Blade!" he called, performing a wind slash on it that sliced it in half.

"Got him!" Rista cheered.

"Where's the damn portal?!" Seiya rurged.

"Why? You just slashed it up." RIstarte said.

"No, it's not defeated." Mirror Match said as both halves of the creature became individual bodies to her shock.

"Now there's two of them?!" Ethox said in disbelief.

The two monsters raised their crosses at Seiya, firing off a white laser which Seiya parried. However, the attack bloomed into several ice spike balls, one of which struck Seiya in the abdomen.

"Holy crap, it got a hit on seiya!" Ethox said.

"Rista, hurry and make the portal!" Mirror match said.

"On it!" Ristarte nodded, creating the portal as the two Thanatos's fused together.

Mirror match gritted his teeth and planted his foot on the ground as a trail of shadow seeped to the reaper and expanded underneath it. "Dark Crystal Wall!" he called, as a barrier appeared on all sides of it.

By then, Ristarte has finished the portal in time, Seiya tossing Mash and Elulu into it. He then followed with Ethox and Mirror Match as they pushed the goddess into it as it closed behind them, Thanatos a bit too late after shattering the crystal wall.

The Divine Realm….

(Cue: Unforgettable- Kingdom Hearts 3)

"Everyone good?" Ethox asked as Seiya came through the portal last and kneaded on the ground touching his side. "Seiya!"

"I'll survive… but I'm hurt pretty badly." Seiya mentioned.

"Show me where you got hurt, I'll heal you." Ristarte said.

"Fine." Seiya said, pulling his shirt up to reveal a slight scrape. "Earlier I was at 30,000 HP. this wound took me down by a hundred."

"You're such a baby!" Ristarte protested.

"It's just a scratch Seiya, I'm sure you'll live." Ethox said.

"I don't intend to fight unless I'm at Max HP." Seiya said.

Reluctantly, Rista healed Seiya's wound.

"Least we have the time to think and plan for that big, ugly…" Ethox said as the party was silent for a moment. "Don't...don't tell me…" he said.

"...It's coming through the dimensional barrier!" Mirror Match said, as everyone looked to the sky, seeing Crossed Thanatos break through into the Divine Realm.

"No way, this thing is unstoppable!" Mash said.

"There's gotta be some kinda way to beat it, right?!" Elulu questioned.

"Seiya, I'm sure you've got some kinda way to take it down by now, right?" Ristarte asked.

"No clue. I've got absolutely no idea how to beat it." Seiya admitted.

"What?! But you've basically bulldozed everything on Gaeabrande!" Ethox said.

"We are surely at a disadvantage if Seiya does not have any way to defeat it." Mirror Match admitted. "This… this may be it."

"(Is… is this really how it ends?)" Ethox thought. "(Am I really going to die without meeting my brother?)"

"Hold it right there!" Some voices called as three gods appeared behind them.

"Yes! We have some help in the form of godly star power!" Ristaere cheered.

The ice, wind and thunder gods attacked the Reaper with their mighty attacks, but all their attacks didn't seem to phase it.

"Even gods cant stop it?!" Mirror Match asked.

"Hey, where'd Seiya go?" Ethox said before seeing him on one of the bridges, running away.

"That scaredy cat coward! You're not cautious, you're chicken! You can't run away from everything, y'know!" Rista said as they chased after him.

Crossed Thanatos blasted the three gods assise and pursued them.

"Uh, guys? It's still chasing us!" Elulu said.

The group ran across the bridge, the invincible reaper plowing through every god getting in its way. They ran all the way up to the mess hall as the chase continued.

"Someones getting rambunctious…" Cerceus said holding a cake before spying the group. "Hey everyone! Wanan try my latest culinary deli-" he didn't finish his question as seiya blew past him.

"Outta the way, lady!" Seiya said as the others gave him depressed looks as they ran right by, Thanatos not even paying attention.

Adenela was walking by before she noticed the rgou. "S-S-Seiya…youre back."

"Adenela, do me a solid and get rid of this thing on our tail, will ya?" Seiya asked. "Then you can deal with me, if you know what I mean."

"Oh… I so do!" the war goddess said drawing her sword. "You're messing with the wrong hunk, pal! Now youre gonna pay!"

In a mere fraction of a second, she dashed to Crossed Thanatos, and using Eternal Sword, sliced it to pieces. But even that didn't stop it, as each piece became a separate reaper and pummeled her to bits.

"Completely useless, like i expected." Seiya said as they continued running.

"Oh, that is it! Cerceus is one thing, but a goddess who trained me is the line!" Ethox said summoning his Keyblade. "Invincible or not, you're gonna pay, pal!"

"Ethox, no!" Mirror Match called.

Ethox activated the Discipline of the Tiger and tried to slash at Thanatos, but the reaper simply batted the Nobody aside like a ragdoll.

"ETHOX!" Mirror Match cried.

"Keep runnin unibro, or that's gonna be you next!" Seiya said as they continued on.

"Seyia, we can't keep running forever!" Ristarte asked. "But you obviously have no idea how to beat this thiing!"

"I don't, but I do have a plan ready in case we come across an enemy I don't know how to beat. A backup-backup plan." Seiya said. "She may look like a post apocalyptic S&M reject, but she's an artist at heart. Pretty sre she's painting her masterpiece on the temple roof right now."

Who Seiya was referring to, at the top of the temple, painting a picture….was Valkyrie.

"Wait, Valkyrie?!" Ristarte asked as they arrived at the top of the temple. "You think she's gonna fight this mega-stalker on our behalf?"

"I concur, she wasn't the most friendly of individuals when we first met." Mirror Match added. "In fact, she almost killed you."

"Yeah. there's no way she'd fight it if we asked her. Meaning…" Seiya said as Thanatos appeared as it fired another projectile as everyone dodged, and it was headed straight for Valkyries painting.

But, just as it was about to crash into the canvas and completely wreck it…

"HAH!" Ehtox yelled from out of nowhere, appearing and knocking the projectile aside with his Keyblade.

"Ethox!" Rista, Mash, Elulu and Match called.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Seiya asked in complete shock and anger. "I had a plan, you dumbass!"

"Yeah, I know! But letting someone else handle your problems isn't what a strong hero like yourself should do!" Ethox said, stepping away from Valkyrie.

"You couldn't stop it before, so I have no faith in you. Are you that eager to charge in without a plan and die?" Seiya said.

"That's not it at all!" Ethox said, stunning Seiya to silence. "Y'know something Seiya? You're an amazing guy. You're unbelievably strong, and you're always prepared for everything. But there's one thing you've gotta learn to do: and that's knowing when to let others help you. It's not always about being cautious and doing everything how you want to do it yourself... it's sometimes... about being a team!" he declared as Way of the East began to crack.

Conditions have been met. The time is right. Let your power… awaken!

The cracks profused across Ethox's entire body before he, for lack of a better term, exploded in a flash of light. When the glare faded, Ethox's body was surrounded by a brilliant aura that seemed to alternate between light and dark, his grey clothes billowing as if there was a powerful wind around him.

"The hell…?" Valkyrie asked, looking up from her painting.

"Whoa…" Mash started.

"So bright…." Elulu said.

Ethox started for Crossed Thantatos as the light faded. "Alright you monster… Let's go!"

Crossed Thanatos charged the Nobody, aiming to slam him with its cross, but found its attack blocked by Ethox's Keyblade.

"This power… it's going to help me… protect everything I hold dear!" Ethox said. "Scratch of Steel!"

From Ethox's Keyblade, a grey manifestation of a rooster appeared and used its claws to scratch the monster's cross knocking it out of the way of the clash, allowing Ethox to strike Thanatos with a thrust that drove the creature back.

Quickly regaining its balance, Crossed Thanatos fired a projectile at Ethox, which the Nobody batted into the starry sky. He then pointed his Keyblade at the creature.

"Infestation Wave!" Ethox called out as a horde of grey rat projections flew out of the weapon and onto the monster, falling on it like a wave onto the shore. However, the creature used its cross to cut the projection in two, charging towards Ethox once more.

"You just don't give up, do you? Okay then, lets see you deal with this!"Ethox said as he positioned himself.

Thantatos crashed into Ethox again, but Ethox was holding on.

"Lend me your strength….Nature Dragon!" Ethox said as the projection of a Dragon appeared. "Earthly Robe…. Great Tatsumaki!" he then performed a spin slash that kicked up a cyclone that launched Thanatos into the air. It broke free of the storm and fired three elemental shots, which the Nobody dodged.

Thantatos then prepared to strike again, summoning all its power before blasting towards Ethox like a meteor.

"Now to end this." Ethos said as all 12 kanji on his Keyblade glowed. "Gather, 12 Guardians of the Dao. Combine darkness and light into a perfect unison and reveal both in my enemy." he chanted, closing his eyes.

Thanatos charged, ready to strike.

"Ehtox, LOOK OUT!" Ristarte screamed.

Ethox then opened his eyes as they flashed. "Now! Unparalleled Eastern Arts: Twisted Spirit Purification Slash!"

He dashed forward in almost what seemed like a blur before the two passed each other as a clanging sound was heard.

The two stopped on opposite sides. At first, Crossed Thanatos turned around as if to continue the attack...until its cross slipped from its grasp.

Then, before the eyes of all present, the creature began to dissipate into two streams; one light, one dark. The two streams slowly began to converge in the air as Ethox looked on.

"I… don't know what to say to you. I don't even know if you can understand me, or if you can hear me at all." Ethox said. "But, if you can… if you ever come back… I hope you use that second chance to become something more than a killing monster."

The two streams finished converging, forming a Dao symbol in the sky as a gong was heard. The circling symbol then faded away, leaving the area silent.

Ethox then assumed a Shaolin stance and bowed. "Go in peace and be reborn anew someday." he said.

"H-Holy…" Rista could only stammer.

"I can't believe he managed to beat it…" Mash said in awe.

"When did he learn that skill?" Elulu asked, amazed at the battle.

"It was an Awakening." A voice said as everyone saw Violet standing in the entrance to the roof area. "A release of power that made him even stronger and gave birth to new power."

"So that was what that was…" Ethox said. "That door I saw… that was the seal Aria mentioned. I guess… being in such a tough situation, wanting to prove myself so much… it broke the seal."

"Yes...those who wield those kinds of blades tend to go through many awakenings. You possibly broke through to your potential...or possibly the first one on your path to greatness." Violet said.

"Yeah… thanks Violet." Ethox nodded. "I know I have a long road ahead of me. But, I've finally figured out what it is I need to do. What my Dao, my way in this whole conflict, is. No doubt, I'll be fighting both Theo and Ehto. but there's no way I'll let things be so crystal cut at the end, so...:"

He then pointed his Keyblade towards Seiya.

"I caused this imbalance in the first place. So what say I mix it up a little even more? Isekai Hero Number 5, Seiya Ryuuguuin, The Cautious Hero…." Ethox proclaimed. "I want you…. To Join my team!"

"...WHAAAAAAAAAATTTT?!" Ristarte exclaimed.

A couple of hours later, after all the damage had been undone…

"You can't be serious!" Ristarte said as everyone was at Ariadoa's house. "You can't just declare one of the ten heroes destined to join Theo joins you instead!"

"Why not? Last I checked, there was nowhere in the explanation that says which side the heroes have to be on when the final battle comes. All it says is that the ten need to be collected." Ethox said.

"He's correct. While it is important the heroes need to be gathered, they don't necessarily have to be on the same side." Violet said.

"Theo's gathering up his guild, and who knows what kinda army Ehto is amassing." Ethox said. "It's only fair that I want to have allies of my own in this fight. I'm playing the role I chose myself at the very start of my adventure on Gaeabrande."

Ethox then looked to Seiya, who was standing there with his arms crossed.

"So… what do you say, Seiya? Wanna join up with Match and I so we can become that Third Force?" Ethox asked.

"I'm going to say this as simple as possible. You're an idiot who charges head first into things without a plan. You'd be dead without the unibro and possibly mugged at that.`` Seiya said. "That being the case, if I just ignore this Ten Isekai thing, that Ehto guy will probably come and kill me. With that said, we'll only team up until both he and the Demon Lord are gone." Seiya finished.

"Good enough for me!" Ethox smiled.

"Well, if Seiya's going, guess I should join you guys too." Ristarte spoke up. "This whole experience? Way more than I bargained for, but we've all gotten through it together. I see no reason to end that trend now."

Ariadoa giggled. "Well, this has certainly gotten interesting, hasn't it Violet?" she asked.

"Yes...things are getting interesting. And it seems they lucked out. Ariadoa...could I speak with you outside?" Violet asked.

The two headed outside where Aria faced Violet.

"I know what you're going to say." Ariadoa somberly said.

"Do you? Of course, you would feel this way. After all, he was your hero once upon a time." Violet said.

"I know...I still have regrets about that day. I've never forgotten." Aria said. "Will he really…"

"Even if he dies in another world, he can easily be brought back to life in his real body back in Japan." Violet said. "However, that wasn't the only reason I called you out here. See...things on Gaeabrande have taken a rather...unexpected turn. One for the worse."

The Demon Lord's Lair….

"I'm honored you would come and meet me personally." the Demon Lord said.

"Honored? No...it is your duty to meet me here and declare your eternal servitude." a voice said as Ehto emerged from the darkness.

"Of course… Lord Ehto." the demon lord said. "As proof of my newfound loyalty, I humbly give you command of what little remains of my forces. And… I will also bequeath unto you my most treasured item."

"Hm?" Ehto asked.

"Imagine… the power to permanently destroy a person's body and soul for good with no chance of revival." he said as giant glowing chains were revealed behind him. "This is that power. Chain Destruction."

"I see. If I use this on Theo...I will no longer have to worry about his return if we somehow end up ending one another once again. The perfect insurance policy. I'll absorb it into my blade." Ehto said as the chains were sucked into Ehto's cloak.

"Then the bargain is made." the demon lord said as he bowed to Ehto. "I, Demon Lord Zenos Road, declare my undying loyalty to you and you alone, Ehto, Bringer of Void. Use my power as you will."

"Bringer of Void...I'll never understand how that name ever stuck around." Ehto said. "I will say...you've made this easy. Most of the others I've had to force were put down. But, this is good." he said. "Now...it's time to move once more. We're not even close to being ready. Our army has only begun to grow! This is my only rule. Anyone who stands in your path, be they kin or friend...slaughter, destroy and obliterate all that stand in your path!" he declared as all the demons started to cheer upon hearing this.
