2 Months Latter
As our trio is walking into the mission office.
Naruko asks "Sensei can we get a mission that will actually challenge us?"
"Well unless we get special permission genin teams can only take C-ranked maximum." Kakashi replies.
"Damn, it's been so boring these last 3 months, only 4 of our missions did we even have to fight." Naruto complaints.
"Be thankful you were not on another team otherwise you likely would even be doing C-ranks yet." Kakashi states.
"Let's just get this over with" Naruko states.
"Ah team 11, I was about to summon you, perfect timing." Hiruzen states.
"What can we do for you Lord Third?" Kakashi asks.
"I have a mission, we believe the client is not being entirely honest with us; He has asked for a simple C-ranked protection mission but when he submitted the request, he was noted as being very nervous." Hiruzen replies.
"If he is lying what do you want us to do?" Naruto asks.
"That is ultimately up to you three, if he gives you a good enough reason by all means finish it, if not just leave him." Lord Third answers.
"Understood." Naruko answers.
"Bring in the bridge builder Tazuna." Hrizuen states.
A tall man with a straw hat, carrying a bottle of sake walks in.
"I pay for ninjas and I get two brats and a walking scarecrow?" Tazuna asks.
"Great another drunk who underestimates us" Naruko states.
"At least this one isn't hitting on you." Naruto replies.
"Sensei, when would you like us at the gate?" Naruko asks.
"In an hour, pack for two weeks dismissed." He replies.
At the Gate
"Alright we're all here, Izumo check us out." Kakashi states.
"You two take the lead and I'm in the back like normal." He continues as he pulls out his infamous orange book.
"Can't believe i'm stuck with two brats for ninjas." Tazuna remarks.
"No matter what you want to say about us, we are the best protection you could ever get for a simple c-rank like this. Naruko states.
Naruto continues "This is also our 40th C-rank, and we do not fail."
The first day was unremarkable. The twins setup camp for the night and Kakashi takes the first night watch.
Tazuna spoke to Kakashi "You are letting those two share a tent?"
He replies "Well they are twins and sharing a bed is nothing new for them so i'm not worried about it."
Tazuna continues "They act more like they are dating then siblings."
"Well it's not really my place but they were raised traveling all over the world as kids and they never really know anybody else their age so they are far closer than normal; any ways tomorrow we will be a long day of walking, so you should get some sleep." Kakashi replies.
When Naruto wakes up to take the second watch he has to substitute with a body pillow to get out of his sisters clutches.
When he gets to Kakashi he whispers "We have picked up two chunin level chakra signatures ahead on the road likely waiting for an ambush, they are about an hour up the road, would you like me to take care of them?"
"No, two chunin are of no concern, and it will help us get answers out of our client if we take care of them later; if they come to our camp wake me up then intercept them." He replies
"Understood." Naruto replies.
He spends the night in sage mode scouting out Wave and feeling the despair that the nation feels.
Naruto decides not to wake his sister for the last shift and just lets her sleep in, much to her annoyance.
He gathers some supplies and makes a small breakfast for everyone before they set out.
As they approach the two hidden chunin Naruko turns towards Kakashi and asks about some random things about Wave while using hand signs for "Two ahead, genjutsu concealment, orders?"
Kakashi signs back "Spring the trap, find their target." and the twins both roll their eyes at his lazy approach to everything.
When they walk past, the two chunin jump out of their very poor choice of disguise and wrap their chain around Kakashi who fakes death with a genjutsu and substitution, before they charge the bridge builder.
"Well that answers who they are after" Naruto says as he pins their chain to the ground.
Both twins suddenly disappear and reaper in a blur behind the mist brothers knocking them out with a hit to the neck.
"Well Kakashi, they were clearly after the bridge builder" Naruko says looking into a tree.
"Nice work you two, now Tazuna you have some questions to answer, why are their chunin level missing nins after you, and why did you knowingly lie to us about the mission" Kakashi states.
"I had no choice, Wave is broke and under the rule of a tyrant named gato" and he continues on with his sab story about his poor family back home.
"Well we were given the choice if we found your answer good enough to continue." Kakashi states.
Naruto speaks up "Well helping a nation escape from tyranny is a pretty good one, and I can confirm that wave is not doing well, last night I sensed their emotions and it was pretty much all sadness and despair."
Naruko continues "Not to mention having Wave in our debt would go a long way in getting a trading alliance as well."
"So you knew ahead of time that I lied, and still took the mission anyway?" Tazuna asks
"It's a ninja village, if we can't tell when a civilian lies to us we could hardly call ourselves a ninja village after all" Naruko states.
"Alright you two, can you sense anymore ninjas between here and wave?" Kakashi asks.
"You want to this time?" Naruto asks his sister.
"Sure" she replies and enters Sage-mode to begin looking for threats.
"There are currently two ninja in Wave, one a high Jonin and one mid chunin." she states.
"No big deal for us" Naruto replies
"Alright, how far can you two reach with that jutsu just in case?" Kakashi asks.
"Well with our marks we can make it as far as the land of birds or snow, but with our fathers marks only the far side of fire" Naruto states.
"Good if anything serious happens send Tasuna back to the leaf till we are finished" Kakashi answers
"What are you talking about?" Tazuna asks
"Nothing you need to know," Naruto seriously says.
"O-ok" he replies.
Nothing happened the rest of the day and night.
The next day in the afternoon about two hours out from the coast, Naruto speaks "The two ninjas are on the move, they are likely to try another ambush"
"Well, if we know it's a trap, let's spring the trap." Kakashi cheerfully states.
"What is with your obsession with springing traps." Naruto says.
"Yeah we could sneak around them and catch them off guard" Naruko finishes.
"Good ideas, but when you know what your enemies are up to, they are more predictable when you act how they want you to." he wisely states.
"Fine sensei" Naruto huffs.
As they are walking along it suddenly becomes foggy and the three ninjas know it's a trap, Naruto suddenly out of seemingly nowhere throws a wind enhanced kunai faster than speed of sound, straight into a bush.
"AHHHHHHHHHH" a man shouts.
"Come out, you are clearly from mist based on your jutsu, and you can't hide from us."
A large man with an even larger sword stumbles out of the bush with a large whole in his chest and everyone can see it is a fatal wound.
He speaks, "Damn, you are not a normal genin, I underestimated" He coughs up some blood "you"
"And that is why you died, you of all people should know better than to underestimate a ninja based on age and appearance, Zabuza demon of the hidden mist." Naruko speaks
"You are right, I got cocky and paid for it" Zabuza replies and falls to the ground dead.
Suddenly ice mirrors appear around them, and someone dressed as a hunter ninja appears in the mirrors and shouts with tears in their eyes "HOW DARE YOU KILL LORD ZABUZA, I WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER AND TAKE THAT BITCH OF YOURS AND MAKE HER SUFFER."
Red chakra suddenly explodes around Naruto in the shape of a 9 tails fox around him.
"NARUTO YOU BAKA, WHY?" Naruko shouts before breaking down into tears.
He suddenly touches everyone and they reappear outside the dome.
The hunter nin thinks 'This chakra is a Jinchuuriki' and she gulps.
Naruto suddenly pulls out three pronged kunai and throws them in front of the mirrors, in his hands and on the chakra tails, large rasengans instantly form before he disappears in a flash of yellow.
Suddenly faster than everyone except Naruko can track the dome explodes.
when the dust clears, a large pile of ice shards and a pool of blood and guts is revealed.
Naruko suddenly runs up to her brother and cries into his shoulder while screaming "BAKA, BAKA, BAKA, why you know she couldn't even hurt me, why"
He responds as the red chakra resides "I won't take anyone even threatening to hurt you."
Naruko tosses a three pronged kunai to Kakashi before the two vanish in a flash of red.
"They will be back, come on let's get going." Kakashi says pocketing the kunai.
"Wha-what was that?" Tazuna asks.
"That is what happens when you threaten Naruko" Kakashi answers solemnly.
"Isn't that a bit extreme of a reaction, the ninja was clearly of little threat to him." Tazuna states.
"Yes probably, but keep in mind, they mean the world to one another; there is but one thing I fear, and that is the day someone actually manages to seriously harm one of them." Kakashi states staring off into the distance.
He continues "Those two may very well be the most powerful people in the elemental nations, even an army of the strongest would fall before just one them, there's a reason I fear what would happen if one was harmed let alone killed."
With the twins in the woods.
Naruto collapses to the ground with his sister on top of him.
"Why just why, you know as well as I that nin was in pain and not in her right state of mind" Naruko asks.
"I won't take anyone even threatening you." he responds.
"I know, but you should also know she couldn't have even harmed me if I was asleep; there was no reason to go that far. I'm not going anywhere, I'll always be here for you, no matter what and that's a promise " she says, still crying into his shoulder.
He remains quiet as she sobs till she falls asleep.
"I'm sorry" he mutters wrapping his arms around her before he too falls asleep.
Later that night when Naruto reawakens, he gently nudges Naruko awake.
Her eyes slowly flutter open and he says "Hello my sleeping beauty."
She blushes "You baka."
"Yes but I'm your baka." he retorts.
"Please, promise me you won't freak out like that again" she asks.
He sighs "I'll try my best"
"No, you will promise me or you will sleep alone on the couch till you do." She states.
"You wouldn't" he responds
"I don't want to but I will if I have to and that's a Promise, and we never go back on our word" she responds.
"You she-devil" he says in disbelief.
She climbs off of him and crosses her arms, jiggling her growing breasts causing Naruto to blush as she turns her back to him.
He stands up and hugs her from behind resting his head on hers.
"Alright you win, I promise I won't freak out like that again." he says.
She suddenly turns around and pulls his lips to hers and they begin a long passionate makeout session in the middle of the woods.
She blushes turning red as a tomato as his now very hard member rubs against her thigh and she lets go of him.
"Dear lord, how do that; if you keep doing that I don't know how long I can resist" He states.
"Well you better" she retorts.
"Alright let's recompose ourselves and then meet back up with Kakashi." He says.
"He won't be happy we left for this long." she replies.
With Kakashi
After the battle Kakashi and Tazuna arrived at his house around nightfall.
Ever since he has sat on the roof staring into the sky worrying about his students and especially about how much of the nine tails chakra was able to leak out, '9 tails worth, that would imply the seal has become very weak or even broken, there is no way master Jiraiya would let it get that loose, did it break down that much in less than a year?' he thinks 'I'll have to ask them and report this when we get back.'
'Where are you two, please come back safe'
Suddenly in a flash of yellow and red the twins appear next to him hand in hand.
"Where have you been, it's almost day break" He asks.
"Land of Rivers" Naruto says.
"Ok, your skill has certainly surpassed your fathers" He remarks.
"Yeah, father was never the best sensor, he could only go about 15 miles." Naruko states.
"Now, I need to know, how were nine tails able to leak out of the seal." Kakashi asks.
"Our father left an imprint in our seal, when we met him he explained how the attack wasn't the kyuubi's fault, as we met the fox and became friends we unlocked the seal." Naruto answers.
"I see, so there's nothing stopping the chakra that explains a thing or two, come let's go inside and get some sleep while we can." Kakashi states.
"We already slept, there is something we wanted to ask, we are so close to Whirlpool, we were wondering, if we clear out the threat of Gato today, can we head there?" Naruko asks
"Hmm, as long as Gato is gone I see no problem with it." he replies.
"Ok, let's go sis we have a tyrant to end." Naruto states.
"I'm coming to see this." Kakashi states standing up.
Naruto throws a Kunai off far into the forest at ridiculous speeds.
"You already know where he is at?" Kakashi asks in shock.
"It's the only place on the island where there are a bunch of greedy men, and desperate women." Naruko states tightening her fist.
"I see" He replies before the three vanish in a flash of yellow.
Gato's base.
"Have at them boys" Gato shouts from a balcony into a courtyard full of his men, with carts of women they have kidnapped.
Suddenly a Kunai appears over head when in a puff of smoke it turns into nearly a thousand of them and they scatter all over the courtyard hitting a few men.
Suddenly the three ninjas appear.
Naruto Speaks "You all have exactly 3 seconds to lay down your arms and surrender"
Gato Speaks "As if, I knew Zabaza wasn't worth it if a couple of brats could take him down. Get them boys and bring that girl to me, she will be fun to" he was cut off as a kunai suddenly ripped through his skull.
Naruko, who through the kunai, says "Times up."
In flashes of red and yellow all 400 thugs in the courtyard had their heads removed, with a single clean cut; it was over faster than Kakashi's sharingan could even process.
"My god, they truly are sensei's kids" Kakashi whispers in disbelief.
"Kakashi-sensei, get Gatos head, we will free the women." Naruko says.
After they are done there are nearly 100 women they freed.
"Lets go, we are taking you all back to town." Naruto shouts.
And they set off on their way.
As the large group approaches town the villagers begin to flee thinking Gato's men are coming.
When they arrive in town and the villagers see the ninja's bringing the women back with Gato's Head on a Pike they begin to shout and cheer, thanking the ninjas for saving their country from him.
After an hour of cheering Kakashi states "Lets go you two it would not do to leave our client unprotected for any longer." and they all disappear in a swirl of leaves.
When they arrive at Tazuna's house he asks "Where were you, we wore worried."
"We took care of Gato for you, you should be free to build your bridge in peace." Naruto answers.
Tazuna's grandson Inari shouts "LIERS, YOU COULD NEVER HAVE DEFEATED GATO, WHY ARE YOU LYING"
"We are not lying, go into town, they have his head on a pike in town square." Naruko replies.
"Come on sis it's not worth arguing with him, we have other things to do, Tazuna we will be leaving your protection to our sensei for some time." Naruto says.
"If Gato and his men are truly gone it won't matter and Wave will always be in your debt." Tazuna replies.
"Well we have a trip ahead of us, we should get going, we should be back by the end of the week." Naruko says.
The twins exit through the door and disappear in a blur.
"Where are they going? They never said." Tazuna asks.
"They are going to their ancestral home in the land of Whirlpools" Kakashi states looking at his book.
"That would mean that they are Uzumaki's right?" Tazuna states.
"They are, although not too closely though, they are a quarter at best." Kakashi answers.
"Still it would mean they are the rightful owners of Wave, our land was theirs before they were destroyed." Tazuna remarks.
"That may be true, but they will never take it, they don't want that kind of responsibility" Kakashi states.
