Chapter 15 Back to Alma.

Savannah looked at her grandfather. Both decided they would find Alma and the children. Savannah packed her suitcases full of her clothes and other belongings and then filled another bag with Serena's clothing and her bottles and formula.

Savannah helped Abe pack his stuff up, leaving the only furniture in the house and nothing else. Abe made sure he brought his weapons to protect him, Savannah and Serena.

They went through three or four different loops. One was in London, Paris, and China until they found the right one. Abe got Savannah to stay behind him when he rang the doorbell. Alma opened the door and saw Abe but was confused about why Savannah and Serena weren't with him. Alma looked at him.

"Abe, where are Savannah and Serena?" Alma asked Abe. Abe moved aside and showed her Savannah, who was holding Serena in her arms with the nappy bag on her shoulder, suitcases on the ground on either side of her legs.

Alma hugged Abe and Savannah. Though she hugged Savannah the longest, she missed her. Savannah handed Serena over when she saw Alma looking at her. Alma held her close to her chest while Abe and Savannah brought the suitcases in. Alma directed them into the parlor. Alma handed Serena over to Savannah so she could get the children. She found them all in the backyard. She looked at them all.

"Come inside, everyone. I have a surprise for you all," Alma said. Everyone ran inside, and Alma directed them into the parlor, where they saw Savannah, Serena, and Abe. Claire ran up to Savannah, looking at Serena.

"Do you want to hold her, Claire?" Savannah asked her. Claire nodded her head and sat down. Savannah carefully handed Serena cover to Claire, watching her hold her. Savannah looked up at Alma and saw her smiling at her.

Savannah opened the bag and got out a bottle and formula. Savannah looked at Olive.

"Can you boil me some water, please, Olive?" Savannah asked. Olive nodded her head, and they both walked to the kitchen, with Alma following. Savannah made sure Olive didn't make the water too hot.

"That will do, Olive," Savannah said. Olive stopped, and Savannah showed Olive how much water to put in the bottle. Olive left Savannah in the kitchen with Alma while she finished off the bottle.

Savannah put the formula in the bottle. Alma watched her making the bottle, then she wrapped her arms around Savannah, hugging her close, not want to let her go. After a while, Savannah and Alma broke the hug when Serena started crying. Savannah walked back into the parlor and picked up Serena out of Claire's arms.

Savannah fed her baby then burped her. Savannah handed Serena over to Jake, so he held her while she slept. They all had dinner together while Savannah held Serena while she ate with one hand. When Alma finished eating, she noticed that Savannah had trouble eating with one hand, so she held her arms out, so Savannah passed her Serena. They all went upstairs while Alma showed Abe and Savannah where they were sleeping, and they all went to sleep.

Later that night, both Savannah and Alma woke up to Serena crying. Alma walked into Savannah's room to see her trying to calm Serena down. Savannah couldn't calm her down, so Alma grabbed her. Serena calmed down and went back to sleep in Alma's arms.
