A/N This chapter and the next is inspired by a suggestion from Wolf Heart 22, and involves Honeymaren questioning Queen Iduna's views on Elsa's magic.
"Elsa was a special child, from her first frozen tear," the choir sang as Young Elsa stood in front of them, engaged in making something with her powers. "Her magic filled her parents' hearts with so fun love and fear."
Iduna, realizing what Elsa was doing, ran up to the girl. "Elsa, no!" she scolded gently but firmly. "What did we say?"
"Magic must stay secret," Elsa recited without hesitation.
"There are just some things we can't do in public," Iduna reminded the princess.
"Like run naked in the breeze!" Anna exclaimed cheerfully, running up to her mother and older sister.
"Anna!" Agnar, Iduna, and Elsa scolded in unison.
"And cut!" Elson called. "That was awesome! The music sounds amazing-" the ensemble of people behind the four main actors smiled gratefully-"and the acting was perfect!"
"Thank you," Annelise responded politely, and Aeson, Honeymaren's husband, nodded in addition.
"I love acting!" Annabelle exclaimed while running a few laps around Honeymaren and Annelise.
Honeymaren, however, didn't answer. Instead, she had a pensive look on her face. "Auntie Honeymaren, what's wrong?" Elson asked, sightly concerned.
The Northuldra women was silent for several seconds, but then finally answered, "I-it's nothing, nevermind. Let's get back to practicing."
"Okay," Elson responded slowly, raising an eyebrow. "Everyone, let's keep going and finish the song. Action!"
"Let the sun shine on, let our hearts be light…"
