Mary Jane was woken up by a loud crash, right off the bat she noticed that she was sucking wet, "Apparently whatever was going on had caused the sprinkler system to go off. oh god, I need to find Ben!" she thought to herself, and she looked around to take in her surroundings, quickly noticing that Sam was laid right next to her unconscious, last time she saw him he was with Luke and Danny and the last time she saw all three of them together was in the cafeteria, no matter how much of an ass he was he was never one to actually run away from a fight, meaning someone brought him here, "but who?" apparently seemed to be the question of the day.

It wasn't long until she noticed the two huge gaping holes in the room, effortlessly figuring out that those were the source of her awakening, quickly going to examine the holes to figure out what the hell was going on when she went to check out the second hole, she saw him, it was that guy, that other Spider-Man that those SHIELD guys were attacking, was right there just laying right under a sprinkler, she theorized that maybe he could have been the cause of this but quickly threw it out giving the fact that if he was he wouldn't be here right now, she also noticed that he wasn't moving, an entire minute passed as she just stood there watching him, too scared to even get close, but also wondering whether or not he was dead.

She continued to stand there until she noticed washed out blonde hair dye running down from his head, this meant he didn't have his mask on and that he had hair dye, curious as to why a man who wore a mask most of the time would be required to dye his hair she went in to see what he looked like, taking her camera with her hoping to get the scoop of the century, she suddenly dropped her camera as she finally saw his face, "I-It's Ben! Ben Reilly's the Scarlet Spider and his face is all bruised, who the hell did this to him? And does this mean-" she thought before she began hearing the siren sounds in the distance, the Police and Fire Department were on their way, and was how bad they liked to treat Spider-Man, they'd no doubt try to pin this on Ben, she needed to get him out of here, but how?

She also quickly noticed the obvious fact that Ben didn't have his mask on, so even if she did manage to carry Ben out of here by herself, they'd never get far enough to get off the premises before the authorities and the media got there, in other words she needed help, but she needed to find his mask first, the less people who could see his face the better, she quickly ran to the other wall and thanked her lucky stars that she found it right under some lockers, after slipping the mask back on to Ben, made our way over to Sam and woke him up via a very firm pimp slap, did Aunt May teach her that? Maybe, but it's not like either one of them would ever tell.

Sam woke up disoriented, couldn't keep his head still and his eyes didn't know what they wanted to look at, telling MJ that he was definitely in the cafeteria when all this started, likely knocked out by the explosion. "Sam! You got to help me, Scarlet Spider is through that hole right there and he's knocked out, plus the cops on the way and if we don't get him out of here quickly they're going to blame and try to arrest him!" She pleaded with him, but unbeknownst to her, Sam still held a grudge against him as the last time he saw him, he had beat the snot out of him, but Sam figured that now wasn't the time for grudges as he remembered seeing how the authorities treated Peter before he joined SHIELD, he couldn't even imagine how they were going to treat Scarlet.

"All right, I'll help, but two things, 1. Do you have any idea where the others are? 2. Where exactly are we going to take him?" That was a good question that she hadn't thought about, where exactly were they going to take him? They couldn't take him to her house because that was all the way in Queens and they couldn't take her to Sam's house because not only they should not know where he lived, but she figured that it would be way too much to ask of him. Then it came to her, it was a bit far but she believed that they could make it unnoticed if they just put something over Ben and stuck in alleyways.

"I've got an idea! I can't explain right now because we don't have any time left, but just grab him and get out of here, I know exactly where to go!" She said with determination, as they both grabbed him and ran through the hallways to find an exit, they found the whole Ben and Kaine had made out to the back of the school which coincidentally led to the nearest alleyway, but before they left, Mary Jane grabbed a nearby trench coat from one of the classrooms and put Ben in it, ensuring that the only visible part of his costume were his ankles and feet, while Sam went and grabbed his book bag from his locker which had his helmet inside.

As the duo ran through the alley with an unconscious spider person on their shoulders, MJ only had one thing on her mind, "Ben Reilly is the Scarlet Spider! Who could possibly be strong enough to do this to him? And does this mean…" she continued to think to herself, not knowing how to proceed with this revelation.

Peter landed on a nearby roof of Midtown on the verge of completely losing his shit, "they're gone, they're gone! Did they go? And who the hell took them?" his thoughts frantic, he and Danny after securing the building and evacuating all innocent bystanders searched up and down for Ben, Mj, and Sam, but only managing to find Luke under some fallen debris, three people were missing and he only had Kaine's mask and a piece of Ben's as clues, which were completely of no help, especially if Kaine took them, but that option wasn't really likely although it was still number one on possibilities, it was possible, Sam could have woken up during Ben and Kane's fight and Maine only took him because he's a witness and Sam could have seen Kaine's face.

"My best chance at figuring out what happened to those three, I've got to figure out what went down exactly, now Kaine wouldn't kidnap someone for no good reason, especially if they were just an innocent bystander, even more so if they were just unconscious, hmm." He then pulled out MJ's broken camera that he found, which told him that she woke up and whatever she saw in that room she thought it was newsworthy, at first, but when she saw what it really was, it caused her to drop her camera in shock, "With Kaine's mask left behind she could have seen his face, only to see my face, but that doesn't explain why Kaine would take her."

Peter may have not known many things about this day, but one thing he knew for sure that it was far from over. "Peter!" he heard a feminine voice call out his name from behind, to which he originally thought was Jess, it actually turned out to be Ava, Ava, Ava was here, right in front of him, as if this day can get more complicated, "I came as soon as I heard, Fury wanted to send a shield team down with me but I felt that it was best that I come down here by myself, what happened here? And where are the guys?"

She had asked him so nonchalantly, like nothing had happened just the day prior to this, Peter didn't know what to think as he started going off in his own little world, that was until Ava snapped her fingers and brought him back to reality. "Oh right… okay… let's see, Luke's hiding among the evacuated students, Danny still inside trying to find any more clues because Sam, Ben, and Mj are MIA."

"What?! Do you think they were kidnapped?"

"I'm not sure, but I know that one of these men, Kaine, was unmasked, so there's a chance that Ben was also, but clearly his mask wasn't left behind," He confessed, fidgeting with his fingers while he was in the process of speaking because he was also thinking at the same time. "I've been thinking about it and I can't seem to think of a reason why Kaine would choose to kidnap them."

"That's because he didn't." Two people spoke at the same time as Iron Fist and Arachne landed on the roof that Peter and Ava were on, the two newcomers began looking at each other motioning for the other to go first, then Danny decided just to go ahead. "Whoever this Kaine is didn't kidnap anyone, because when I was investigating the holes in the walls, I noticed there was not only a significant size of difference between the rest and two of them, but they were also not caused the same way."

"As you saw, Peter. The first few holes were small but big enough for a person to fit through in the last two were significantly bigger and when I was investigating through the last hole, I noticed this makes them with the water on the ground." He said as he pulled out a vial in which contained blonde hair dye, which immediately told Peter that Ben's mask was also off. "This my friends, is evidence that our friend Benjamin was indeed the one who was sent through the wall, by what? I don't know, but what I do know is that this Kaine must have been in the rush to leave considering he left his mask behind, meaning whoever he is he wasn't here for Ben or any of us, so definitely didn't kidnap anyone."

"Well, to follow up on Danny's evidence, Kaine was here for distraction, since I wasn't here I could only guess that the only students he hurt were the ones he knew didn't have superpowers. Trust m-"

"Trust you? I don't even know you, speaking of which, who are you? And who is Kaine? And why does it seem like you know more than what you're letting on Parker?" Ava questioned, finally fed up with the secrets.

"This is Jessica Drew, my female clone. Yes, I know, the whole clones thing was also hard for me to process, but it's true, Ben, Jess, and Kaine are all clones of me, all made by the psychopath that was Miles Warren AKA The Jackal, now there's a lot more to the story but now is not the time, I'll explain later."

Peter then motioned for Jess to continue, already forming an order of events in his head, but wanted to hear what happened with Jess. "Anyway, like I was saying, if I know my brother as well as I think I do, those students were never in any danger to begin with and if my story lines up with yours, he was only at Midtown to distract all of you."

"Distract us? For what?" Ava asked

"For Doc Ock's little confidential meeting with a double agent who was selling valuable SHIELD information, i.e. a mole." She explained, shooting a webline around the corner of a building and pulling something behind it, they all heard an "ow!" come from someone before she yanked her hand up and caught a bound man with it. "This is for you, now your guess is as good as mine, but Kaine definitely didn't kidnap anyone." she said handing the man over to Ava.

"No he didn't, but I think I have an idea on who did." Peter spoke up.

"I mean no offense by asking, but do you mind sharing with the class, Spidey?" Danny asked, Peter's ambiguous tone wasn't helping him any.

"I'm saying that I believe Mj is the reason they all are missing."

"Okay I'm definitely missing something, how?" Ava chimed in.

"Well it's simple, with all the evidence gathered, I found that at some point, she woke up and immediately went into reporter mode, pulling out her camera and went about her way trying to find something scoopworthy, until she came across an unconscious and unmasked Scarlet Spider, although she didn't see that he was unmasked yet," he explained, pulling out her broken camera and grabbing the vial of hair dye that Danny had collected. "We know that Scarlet was unmasked because otherwise the sprinklers wouldn't have been able to wash out the hair dye, we know that he was knocked out because whatever caused those two giant holes also hit him and call him by surprise no less, before I continue, I would prefer no unwanted listeners."

He said, directing his line of sight to the SHIELD mole who was still conscious, well that was until Ava kicked him in the head, instantly knocking him out, to then gesture for Peter to continue. "All right then, when Mj went in to get a picture of the unconscious hero, she instantly recognized him as the one and only Ben Reilly, sending her into momentary shock and causing her to drop her camera." He said presenting the camera once more. "So at that point, the authorities were already called mere minutes before and hearing the sound of them coming brought her back to reality, seeing that the police and media tend to blame me for incidents like this, elected to get Scarlet out of the school, but realize she wouldn't get far by herself so she woke up Sam to get his help."

"Which would explain why his backpack and his helmet are missing, so Sam must have agreed to help and the hole that led out to the back of the school must have been their escape route and not Kaine's like we originally thought." Danny added.

"Well do we have any idea where they could have gone because surely Mj's smart enough to realize that there was no way in hell they're going to make it to her house." Said Ava, who's basically been playing catch up this entire time.

"I have an idea on where they are, Jess and I are going to follow up on my lead, you two get that guy and Luke to the Helicarrier."

"Uh, since when were you appointed leader again?"

"I was not, but something tells me that you're still going to do something among the lines of what I just told you to do." She couldn't see his face but she could tell that he went at her as he motioned for Arachne to follow and they both swung off.

"So uh, don't hit me did something happen between you two?" Iron Fist asked to which he got no response from White Tiger as she slumped the unconscious man over her shoulder, scaled a wall and ran off.

"I'm going to take that as a yes."

Back on the ground, a very shaken Liz Allen could be seen talking to one of the officers as all of the students were being sent home for the day and her phone was destroyed in the evacuation. "I'm sorry, Kid. We couldn't reach her, is there anyone else you'd like to try?"

"Um…." She hesitated, she had other people she could call, but ever since her dad was out it as a super villain, her and her mom became the black sheeps of the family, she thought long and hard, then one name came to her mind. "Yeah, Mr. Officer, I have one number."

"Okay, what is it?"

"212-121-1965."
