"Trace On!"

The lone voice echoed throughout the area, drawing attention to its owner.

"Tch. Another NPC? What do you think you can do with that dagger against a creature so powerful as to make All Might lose?"

Rather than answer, Shirou simply smirked slightly as he chanted in a low voice, almost inaudible;

"Magical providence, oh natural master of the world, return all to its origins

Rule Breaker!".

Having activated the Witch of Betrayal's noble phantasm Rule Breaker, if magecraft and quirks originated from the same source as he thought they did, the Nomu would be in a state before it was altered by new quirks. All he had left to do was hit the Nomu with it.

And so he did, moving faster than he thought possible with a non-reinforced body, though he barely managed to prick the enhanced creature on its side. As he did so, it started to unravel. Flesh and muscle appeared only to be replaced by other layers, but the mystery of Rule Breaker had already taken hold.

All at once, the change stopped and a human appeared from within it, unconscious, badly wounded, but still alive. Now knowing what the Nomu was made of removed any remainder of sympathy he had for the blue-gray haired man.

Loathe to admit it, Tomura Shigaraki was surprised at the audacity shown by the boy. He had expected nothing from the show of bravado except another mangled body, maybe he'd even do the boy the honor of disintegrating his corpse. And when the boy had only managed to nick it, he was even more assured.

But when the Nomu turned into a human, he was shocked. There was only one conclusion made possible to Tomura Shigaraki: that that boy was a cheater, plain and simple.

That damn cheating NPC…

"You damn cheater! Remember this, this was just a test" he bluffed, scratching his neck all the while "Next time, we, the League of Villains, won't go so easy on you! Kurogiri, open the portals"

With a nod and a quiet "Done, Shigaraki", the League of Villains was gone.

Not believing that they were gone just yet, Shirou stayed tense for a moment more, before running over to his teacher. Checking on his injuries, he hoped that the others Tenya called for would soon arrive.

As the thought crossed his mind, he heard a sonic boom. It was All Might, but he still tensed up, when he heard "I am here".

Yes, you may be here now, but you weren't here before and due to that class 1-A was attacked… Shirou thought sarcastically.

"Over here!" Despite his inner thoughts, he called out for help "EraserHead needs medical aid now!". His loud voice called attention to his location, where he was desperately attempting to prevent dust and such from getting into the parts of his body that were partially decayed.

Though I shouldn't be, I'm relieved at the outcome, that I didn't have to spend another minute in that form of mine. Had I been forced to fight again today, I'm not sure how much more time I'd lose in my Hero form…

So went the thoughts of All Might while he was comforting his protégé, the one and only Izuku Midoriya. "It's all right, you're still getting used to your quirk. It makes sense that you couldn't help out everyone".

Tearfully, Izuku looked up at him "R-really? I was so frightened at one point that me and Tsuyu almost attacked a classmate"

"But you didn't. Your actual actions are more important than what you almost did".

As Aiwaza was getting evaluated by Recovery Girl though, his condition was very apparently worse than the others.

"Young man, you need to be careful and take some time off".

Before she could finish that thought however, he interrupted her. "I can't stop now. I can't not go in and teach a valuable lesson to the students. Just heal me up as well as you can in the time provided".

"But you're suffering right now!" She shouted at him.

"I don't care, the lesson is more important," he said.

Hmphing, Recovery Girl gave in to his demands, though not without another warning "This will hurt a lot".

"I know"
