Chapter 8: Beginning of the End
"You must understand Jasmine, Danielle as it stands has the potential... no, the ability to become stronger then even Pariah Dark himself at his prime." Clockwork said seriously as he stared at Jazz. "I thought my plan was full proof, and it wasn't. I thought by showing Danielle her dark future it would forever prevent her becoming evil, by giving her that extra chance it would save everyone." The old ghost said with a sigh. "I was wrong, and now her darkness could become even greater."
Jazz looked over at the frozen Dani, thinking about what could make her turn evil. "Will... will Dark Danielle's story help me to understand why Dani could go evil?"
"Yes, which is why I must tell you it." Clockwork said taking a seat in the chair again changing to his older self.
Jazz gripped Dani's hand tighter before turning back to Clockwork. "Could I get some tea before we continue?"
Clockwork smiled as he reached out to the table in front of him and poured a second cup of tea for the girl. He handed the cup to Jazz who took it with a smile.
"Shall I continue?" Clockwork asked. Seeing Jazz nod her head with a sip of tea he looked to the portal that had stopped with Dani and Kitty's kiss. "Danielle and Kitty were actually very happy with each other, but the pain of losing her family always nagged at her. Even after two years that pain kept her from speaking three words, that Kitty would say quite constantly." Clockwork began, the image on the portal changing to one of Dani with slightly longer white hair.
===Clockwork's Tale===
"Dani!" Kitty whined as she tugged on the halfa's arm. "Come on, let's go out dancing with everyone."
Dani groaned and rolled her eyes. "Kitty... You can go. You know I'm not that close with the others. I'll just ruin your fun."
"No you won't! It'll be less fun without my girlfriend there to dance with." Kitty called out, looking at Dani with big round eyes, her lip quivering.
Dani glared at her girlfriend. "I hate when you do that Kitten..." She said as the ghost didn't stop giving her her puppy dog eyes. "Okay... I'll go out dancing with you and the girls..." Dani said giving in to the puppy eyes.
Kitty's face lights up as she bounces up happily. "Awesome!" She cries out, before noticing her girlfriend with a slightly evil grin on her face. "Dani... what are you thinking?"
"Oh just something to make me happy since you're taking me dancing with your friends." Dani says giggling.
"Dani..." Kitty says softly, slightly worried.
"I want you to wear that special outfit to go out dancing. If you do that I will never complain."
Kitty paled slightly, knowing what outfit the halfa was talking about. "But Dani... that is a really embarrassing outfit.. I mean when it's just us I love wearing it for you... but to go out with Ember and the girls wearing it?" She asked her blush brightening.
Dani smirked and shrugged her shoulders. "Guess I'm staying then." She says watching Kitty pout.
Kitty walked down the hall of her realm to her and Dani's shared bedroom.
Dani giggled knowing her girlfriend would never do what she had just asked and that she was safe from embarrassing herself in front of everyone by dancing.
"Are you ready to go Dani?" Kitty purred out from the hallway when she returned.
"I told you kitty I want you... to..." Dani started to say before trailing off her jaw dropping in surprise.
Kitty was wearing a cotton black one piece that looked like a swimsuit. Covering the ghosts legs were a pair of black fishnet stockings leading down to a pair of shoes that looked like a pair of paws. On the back of the one piece a long black tail extended out from just above her ass that seemed to jut out from how tight the outfit was on her. On her hands were a pair of gloves that looked like anthro cat hands and on top of her head was a pair of cat ears.
"Your 'Kitten' is all ready." Kitty purred out, blushing brightly.
She had bought the outfit special for Dani cause the halfa always called her Kitten, mostly as a joke. It had instead been a huge hit with the girl who couldn't take her eyes off Kitty the first time she had seen it. It had become quite normal for Kitty to wear it when it was just them in her realm.
Dani just stared at Kitty in shock. She did not expect her girlfriend to actually go along with wearing the outfit to go out dancing.
"Well?" Kitty purred out walking over to Dani, putting an extra sway into her step letting her ass swing with each step. She giggled seeing her girlfriend simply nod her head. "Oh wait... 'Kitten' did forget one thing." She said, smirking as she turned around and bent over leaning into a box next to the couch, letting Dani have a full view of her ass. "Here it is." She said smiling, as she stood up raising her arms to her neck.
When Kitty let her arms fall back down to her sides a red leather collar hung around her neck complete with a leash.
"Can't forget this. Pets can't go anywhere without their leashes." Kitty purred out.
The collar and leash had been a gag gift from Ember a few days after when she had walked in one day to see Kitty in her outfit. Kitty had quickly learned that Dani enjoyed the leash, so much so the ghost suspected the teen to have a pet fetish, but never called her out on it.
An hour later Kitty was grinning, while she herself was slightly embarrassed to be seen in her special outfit, Dani was worse. The halfa couldn't stop blushing no matter what, and whatever she tried, Kitty would force her to keep hold of the leash. The green haired ghost would rub up against Dani at random times and purr loudly just to see her girlfriends blush brighten even further.
"Hey Kitty!" A voice cried out. " How are yo... wow..." Spectra said wide eyes at Kitty's outfit. "Ummm... lose a bet or something to Dani?"
"Nope... just a special outfit I have just for my Dani, since she always calls me kitten, and so decided to make it special by wearing this for her." Kitty said smiling, leaving out that it was Dani's idea for the outfit.
"Oh wow..." Spectra says blinking as she looks at the couple.
"Hey guys!" Another voice called out before landing in front of everyone. "Holy shit girl!" Ember cried out noticing Kittys outfit. "Why are you wearing that out?" She asked, surprised.
"Just wanted to give my Dani something nice to look at all night while we are having fun." Kitty says with a giggle.
"Ummm... Kitty... You do know how many people will be staring at you, right?" Ember asked, scared for her best friend.
"Everyone probably, but I won't have to worry about it. I know Dani will keep me safe, I mean look what happened to Skulker and Technis after they messed with you? I know you and Dani aren't best friends, but it shows how protective she is of her friends." Kitty reminds them.
"Don't they call themselves Skulktech now?" Spectra asked, scratching her head. "I mean Dani did beat them to an inch of their afterlives didn't she?"
Ember looked over at Spectra with a grin. "That she did. Baby pop here really gave it to them good. I'm almost certain if Kitty didn't come around at that moment they would have been no more." She said proudly, before pointing to a dance club they had met up in front of. "Now come on girls, let's dance!" She cried out.
A half hour later all four of the girls were on the dance floor enjoying themselves, though everyone around the club had learned quickly in the first five minutes don't come near Kitty.
Kitty wasn't surprised when the first guy who tried to grope her was thrown out the window courtesy of Dani. While Dani has been in the ghost zone, Kitty has come to learn one thing about the halfa when it came to her. She was possessive. Very possessive, but the ghost had come to adore that about her girlfriend. She didn't care one bit about how possessive Dani was because she knew she cared about her more than anyone else.
"Kitty!" A gruff voice called out pushing through the crowd of dancers.
The four girls looked towards the voice all of them recognizing it. Not a few moments later Johnny pushed through the crowd and stared wide eyed at Dani and Kitty. Kitty was facing away from the halfa her ass pushed against her, while the white haired girls arms were wrapped around her belly.
"What in the world is this?" Johnny cried out in shock.
"Girlfriends dancing with each other and enjoying themselves." Kitty said, rolling her eyes at the idiot question.
"I mean that!" He screamed, pointing to the outfit the green haired ghost was wearing. "What did she do to you? You always refused to dress up for me."
"Oh this?" She asked, looking down at her black outfit, before looking up at Johnny with a smirk. "Just something special for my sweet Dani." She said softly, leaning back into Dani's arms feeling her nuzzle into her neck.
Johnny grit his teeth, before stomping forward reaching a hand out to Kitty. "I'm getting you away from her. She doesn't deserve you, only I do and I'm gonna prove it."
Kitty lets out a small squeak as Dani bounces backwards a step with Kitty in her arms, glaring at the biker boy from over her shoulder.
"I'd be careful Johnny. Dani here is super protective and very possessive of her kitten." She says purring, turning her head to the side to kiss Dani on the cheek. "Skulktech happened because she beat Skulker to an inch of his afterlife after he attacked Ember. Ember is just a friend, now imagine what could happen if someone comes after her girlfriend." She warned her ex.
Johnny lets out a growl. "Like she could do anything to me. I'm taking you back and nothing is going to stop me." He says reaching out and grabbing Kitty's arm and tries to pull her away from Dani.
One of the halfa's hands shoots out grabbing hold of the biker's wrist and proceeds to crush it in her grip causing him to cry out in agony. When she let go the biker stumbled back holding his crushed wrist with his other.
"That is your only warning." Dani says protectively. "Touch Kitty again and you will wish you didn't exist." She states her glowing green eyes flashing red for a moment.
"Fuck you bitch!" He screams out at Dani. "Kitty is mine! Do you hear me girl... MINE!" He screams causing Dani to smirk.
Dani lifts her hand to Kitty's neck and runs her fingers across the red leather of the collar. "Then why does she slip this collar on for me willingly even when I don't ask her to?" She asks, purring, pressing a kiss to Kitty's neck. "And why would she personally get this... all on her own?" She asked, lifting up a shimmering object that hung from the collar. It was a pink heart shaped tag, with the words, 'Kitty, Dani's Love Kitten, If lost please Return' all written in a gold swirling text.
Ember and Spectra both gasped, having not noticed the tag before, while the biker clenched his good fist tightly.
"That is it bitch. You are mine!" Johnny screamed as he rushed at the couple.
Dani turned around, taking Kitty with her before kicking her leg out and into the bikers stomach making him gasp. She released her hold on Kitty tossing the end of the leash in her hand towards Ember who caught it with a blush.
"Don't try it again. You could have hurt Kitty." Dani said, turning to glare at the biker that was standing up from the halfa's kick.
"Fuck you! She would have deserved it... Fucken slut..." Johnny said.
Dani's body went stiff, her eyes turning red before punching the man square in the face, sending him flying towards a wall, green blood spattered across the white haired girls fist and the bikers face.
Johnny groaned in pain as he slowly got up before grunting in pain, Dani already in front of him, burying her fist into his gut. She reached up and grabbed the man's face slamming her forehead into his nose, splattering her face with green blood along with coating the man's face in the same. As she pulled her head away she jerked her knee up into the biker's crotch causing him to scream out in agony, the girls blazing red eyes causing him to shiver.
She lifted the biker up by his collar and spun around tossing him towards a window, before lifting her hand and shooting an ecto-beam at the biker, hitting him at the base of his spine sending him flying out the window.
Dani flew out the window after the biker, landing in front of his downed form. She raised her hand above her head a small ball of ecto-energy forming above her hand and slowly growing till it was the size of her own body.
"Stop this Dani. He's beaten." Spectra said having rushed outside and grabbed the halfa raised wrist to stop her from throwing the massive ball.
Dani turned her head to Spectra, glaring at the older ghost. "He deserves to end..." She hisses her blazing red eyes digging into Spectra.
"I agree with you, his kind of scum does deserve to end, but is this you?" Spectra asked softly, not letting go of Dani's wrist. "Is this who you are? You are the ghost girl who saved hundreds of people in the human world, and yet here you stand about to end the existence of some low life who is beaten. That blast to his spine will probably make sure he will never walk again." She tried to explain to the halfa.
Dani continued to glare at Spectra, her hand shaking wanting to break out of the ghost's hold, but not wanting to hurt the other woman.
"Tell me Dani." Spectra said softly. "Could you look at yourself the same way if you destroyed him? Could you look at Kitty the same way? From our time together I know you have never said, 'those' words to her, but I know deep down you love her. It's why you're so protective and possessive of her." She said trying to use the halfa's love of Kitty to calm her.
Dani grit her teeth the orb above her hand not shrinking in the slightest.
Kitty was watching the entire event unfold before turning to Ember. "What does she mean, time together?" She asked.
Ember looked over at Kitty and smiled sadly. "Dani is still hurting from losing her family and friends in the human world, but she doesn't want you to get caught up in her pain. Since Spectra is a counselor she's been going to her once a month to help. They are closer friends than me and Dani because of it."
Kitty blinked before looking back over seeing Spectra struggle to hold Dani's wrist, knowing Spectra's words weren't doing much. Kitty's eyes widened as she leaned out the window to yell at her girlfriend.
"What would Jazz think if you did this!" Kitty cried out to Dani. She shuddered seeing Dani stiffen, she knew mentioning her sister would hurt but with how much Dani respected her elder sister Kitty knew it might be the only way. "Would she want you to end Johnny like this?"
Spectra watched as Dani looked over at Kitty with her red eyes for a few moments, before releasing the halfa's hand and taking a step back. Slowly the ball of energy shrunk and disappeared, as her red eyes reverted back to their normal glowing green.
