"Disclaimer" I do not own, The Loud House, but if they actually read this, then I hope Lincoln has a change of heart.
Practical Magic by Heavy5commando.
Time for another birthday gig, at the house of someone who Lincoln knows from some episodes in season 3, and then some other unexpected things are gonna happen in this chapter, which could truly guide the duo down the relationship that they are bound to have. Enjoy reading this guys,
(Date: Saturday.)
(Location: Carmichael residence.)
From recent events, Lincoln and Jordan were asked by their good friend (Well, she is Jordan's friend. Kat Carmichael) that her cousin, Tucker is gonna have a birthday on Saturday and that he could use someone for the entertainment and since Loud and Rosato are good with magic, might as well have them perform.
Of course, they had to tell Luan and she's willing to help start up the fun and entertainment, before the duo of magic take center stage and show them some amazing stuff.
Lori drives them to the house and they take a look at the house. "Wow. Talk about fancy" said Luan. "But, I've done a lot of gigs at most homes that look nice."
They all get out of the van and they head to the back and begin to unload all the things needed.
Starting with Luan and her clowning gear. "Careful guys, I for some new whoopee cushions and I don't wanna have them be gassed out!" Luan laughs to her own joke, followed by her signature words. "Get it?"
"Not really" replied Lincoln, Jordan and Lori. They go back to helping unload all they need, but the snow-haired boy notices the mailbox and the name on it.
"Carmichael."
"Why does this sound familiar to me? Like I heard of this last name before?"
Lori walks by her little brother with Luan's trunk. "Linc, you've heard that name from your friend in school, I think her name has been called out many times when the teacher checks attendance."
"She's not wrong. Ms. Johnson always calls out Kat's name when we check attendance" Jordan looks to the name of the mailbox. "But, why do you seem nervous about the last name?"
Lincoln was baffled and puzzled by this. "I… I don't know. It's just that… This name is so familiar and…"
"There you are, you showed up. Good." they see this tall woman with red hair and glasses arrive to greet them and she seems all too familiar to the snow-haired boy. "Now, the stage is at the back and the kids are getting kinda rowdy and we could use the clown to begin the show."
"You got it ma'am!" Luan with Lori head to the backyard to begin setting up everything for what Luan does. Then Ms. Carmichael looks to the magical duo.
"Good to see the other… Hang on a sec, you look familiar…" She gazes to the boy with the snow-colored hair. Lincoln didn't wanna get into trouble, but he sucks up some courage and replies.
"You do know me, from the mall and it involved your son and Leni being fired for something she did not do, ma'am."
Ms. Carmichael is surprised by this. "Oh… Oh wow. Well, I didn't see this coming. Well, it's good to see you again and I would like to again say thank you and your other friend for finding the real culprit to the scarf disappearances, and I am still sorry for firing Leni and accusing her for stealing."
Lincoln could feel his worries about being around this lady fade.
"All in a good days work ma'am and we're ready to perform our magic tricks for your son. How is he anyway?"
"At this time…" they hear some kids yelling and playing, which makes Ms. Carmichael worried. "Really, really rowdy back there. The whole theme of his birthday is Ace Savvy, and he is really loving this party so much, that it's turned into some kind of battle between heroes and villains or something."
"The other parents have all taken refuge inside the house and aren't in the mood to go back out there in the middle of that battle, and thank goodness the cake is safe and sound too."
Hearing this didn't make Lincoln upset, Jordan on the other hand feels like they're gonna be in the middle of "No man's Land." but Lincoln is undeterred.
"Don't worry, Ms. Carmichael. My sister, Luan and with Lori, they have been doing babysitting for a long, long time and they can handle the crowd and keep them calm until the magic show begins."
Hearing this makes the single mother sigh in relief. "That's good to know, I'll see you at the back and…" She listens closely. "Huh, the sounds of panic and fighting has ceased." She then goes to the backyard to see what has happened.
Lincoln and Jordan get ready to use their smokebombs to head to the backstage unnoticed, but then Jordan asks her partner. "Linc, what the heck was with all that stuff about Leni getting fired?"
Lincoln didn't think she'd ask. "That's a long story Jordan. Now come on, we can talk more when we head backstage." He drops the smokebomb and the duo are gone.

(Location: Backyard.)
The crowd of kids are all clapping and happy at how the clown has made everyone feel so much better with her jokes and some of her clumsy shenanigans. Luan is pulling out everything she's got to calm this crowd of kids.
Because if they had never showed up, then this backyard would've been a wasteland. This is what happens when you got one big crowd of kids who are all Ace Savvy Fans.
All the grownups have all come out of the house and watch this clowning gig of Luan unfold and Lori watching over everything to make sure the chaos is under control and it seems to be calm.
This makes Lori feel proud of herself. 'Yup, and all it took was the many years of babysitting. Luan and I are good.'
Luan finishes her act with some juggling tricks and she managed to nail the unicycle, pie juggling trick and she tosses the pies into the air and they land onto herself and this makes everyone laugh and cheer.
"A thank you!" as Luan takes a bow, and she knew that it was time. "And now my fellow birthday audience, time for the best and I mean the very best act for tonight, for there is magic in the air!"
Everyone else cheers and claps, they can tell that whoever is next, is a magical duo they have all heard about.
Luan is about to leave the stage, but then some yellow and orange smoke appears on stage and reveals, the magical duo of the great Lincoln Loud and the wonderful Jordan Rosato.
Luan appears next to Lori and is confused, this startles the 17-year old. "What the heck? Luan, how did you…"
Luan chuckles. "Me neither sis, I guess you can say I was magically moved by this."
Everyone looks on stage and they watch as there are two hats on the stage and no one around, then a large tarp lands onto the hats and as the wind blows away the tarp reveals Lincoln and Jordan and they put their hats on. "Who's ready for some magic tricks?"
The crowd just cheers at the mazing trick they started up and so they begin with the magic tricks.
(Magic Montage.)
Lincoln begins by opening the truck which is now standing up, he runs right into it and is gone. Jordan places it onto the table and she uses some saws and swords onto it, and when she opens they see that Lincoln is not there.
But then she tosses her hat in the air and it slowly grows and Lincoln hops out and lands onto the table.
That whole thing had Lori nervous and a bit scared, she thought her little brother died. But Luan reassures her, that they're professionals and that they know what they're doing.
The next trick involves white doves. Lincoln and Jordan toss them into the air and when they catch them using their hats, they see that the birds have become origami birds. Jordan burns the two paper birds and reveal eggs.
Lincoln takes the eggs and he crushes them with his hand, and they reveal the doves once more.
Now that us one mazing trick.
Lincoln and Jordan ask for the action figure of Ace Savvy from the birthday boy, but they told him to say that he will let them borrow the toy and when he says so, the action figure slowly hovers in the air and flies towards Lincoln and Jordan.
Lincoln hides the action figure in his hat and he tells the birthday boy to see under his cape and sees that his Ace Savvy action figure has returned and is unharmed.
Tucker seemed happier when his action figure of his favorite super hero flew.
The next trick was making some glasses float and Lincoln uses a ladder and pours water in them, but the water disappears into the glass. Jordan uses her hat and water comes out and she pours it into the pitcher.
Luan chuckles seeing that one. 'Dang. I gotta learn that one, sure would be less wetter the next time for me.'
Jordan performs the ladder from the hat trick, while Lincoln performs the bouquet turning to butterflies and confetti trick. Then they both toss spoons at each other that change into plastic spoons and when they toss them again, they turn into bottles and they begin to juggle them all.
Each juggle, the bottles turn into bowling pins and then apples and they place them onto the table, use their capes to cover the apples and with a wave of their magic wands, they become apple pies.
Lori spits out her punch and is shocked by this. "Whoa. What the heck just happened?!"
Luan chuckles. "Like I said Lori, it's all…" A pie is hit to her face. "Magic." they all laugh and Lincoln and Jordan toss pies towards Luan who accepts this delicious outcome.
And lastly, for the final trick had Lincoln and Jordan go through each other's cape. Lincoln reveals that his magical partner has become the female version of Ace Savvy and Lincoln tosses his cape into the air and he races through it and is dressed in his Ace Savvy costume.
The kids cheer and clap seeing them, it made it feel like they had actual heroes on the scene to greet them.
Lori then asks Luan. "Did we pack those with us?"
Luan is amazed. "No… No we did not."
Everyone claps at this amazing performance that these two have made.

With the party finally over, and everyone now off to their homes, and all the autographs signed, the performing crew begin to pack up and prepare to leave, they had fun doing the whole magic and comedy gig, but they could use some rest.
Ms. Carmichael goes towards the performance team. "That was incredible, looks like I made the right choice listening to my niece, Katherine. You two are more magically talented than the talent show, thank you for coming here and making my son's birthday the best he's ever had."
"All in a magical days work Ms. Carmichael, and we're glad your son enjoy this and also be less chaotic just because the whole thing is Ace Savvy themed" replied Jordan.
The woman looks towards Lincoln. "Aren't you an Ace Savvy fan?"
Lincoln smirks. "Still am, but the magic gig seems to be growing on me now. Glad you're kid was happy to see me and recognize me too."
"Well, you all did an amazing performance and I liked both the clowning and the magic gig." The lady then pays Luan with the cash. "Also, here some left over cake for the road." They each get a box with one slice of chocolate cake that is Ace Savvy themed.
"Thank you."
With that, Ms. Carmichael heads back into the house to check on her son who's going at it opening his presents.
The others begin to load up all they have used from the party and Luan smiles when she sees the numbers and names of other parents who wanna hire them, while Lori looks to the number that the woman gave her, because of their skills in calming the crowd of kids, she wants either of the four older loud sisters to one day babysit her son.
Lincoln and Jordan load their bag and trunk into the back of Vanzilla.
"Now that was the best gig we had, but I know there's still more to come" replied Lincoln.
Jordan giggles at her partner's happiness. "Heck yeah, and I can't wait to do this again. Who knows where we might be called to next."
They close the back of Vanzilla and they are about to go back to Lori and Luan, but then Jordan slips over a banana peel that was from Luan and she slips and accidently stumbles back and onto Lincoln.
The snow-haired boy does what he can to catch his magical partner, but he falls as well and right now their position is super awkward.
Lincoln and Jordan were now face-to-face with each other.
Lincoln is lying on the ground, blushing bright red, and on top of him is Jordan, and they are so close to each other that they're noses touch and this makes them redder than a tomato.
Jordan slowly gets up and Lincoln sits up and the duo look to each other.
They both nervously laugh and then look away as they blush, but both of them thinking of something else.
'What the heck?! We were so close and… He looked so cute, and kinda handsome too.'
'I can't believe that just happened. I cannot believe that just happened. Jordan, she looked so pretty.'
The duo get back to their feet and they both walk back into Vanzilla and ignore Lori and Luan who are already inside.
"Alright, so first we drop off Jordan to her house." Lori looks to the others and sees the nervous looks on the two kid's faces. "Everything okay with you two?"
Lincoln and Jordan nod and then look to their respective windows and avoid looking at each other, feeling nervous after what happened to them.
Lori and Luan have no clue what was up with them and so they drive off to send Jordan Rosato home.
But a part of Lori has this wild guess. 'Something happened back there when they were unpacking. I don't know what it was, but I think Lincoln and his magical partner are slowly into each other.' But she knows when not to meddle with his relationship.
So she'll let her brother figure this out and see where this goes for him and Jordan.
Both kids don't look to each other still, and just look out the windows, but both of them are still feeling the vibes after that small accident they had.
Lincoln then has an idea. 'Jordan likes me, and I like her… We can make this work, maybe I can ask her on a date and we can see where we can take our relationship, and not just the magic, but something more magical than any magic trick.'
Lincoln knew what he has to do. 'Alright Lincoln Loud. Operation ask out Jordan Rosato to a date and see if we do like each other and make something work out and also think of a shorter and better name for this operation, is a go!'
But then he thinks about this. 'I could use some help, and I know who to ask.'
A/N: Another magical gig, and all thanks to their good friend, Kat from school. But, it seems like the path of Jordacoln is coming and I know ya'll have been looking forward to this one now, and sure as heck I am too! This is also the idea of the old pal of mine who helped me make this chapter long ago, and if my old pal is reading this, then I hope I did good buddy. Let the spark of Jordacoln carry on my compadre! Carry on, man!
P.S – I know about the new loud house episode "Saved by the Spell" and I have yet to watch it.
