The first time Kamaria saw Crystal since the day she set her up was awkward but Edward was right by her side to protect her if needed, his intense glare intimidated Crystal not to even think about Kamaria, he would know.

Edward became so protect of his 4'8" girlfriend, he had all his classes switched to be the exact same as her's. That way he could know without a doubt that she was safe.

It was now Christmas Eve, and Kamaria has made a few new friends since the ordeal with Crystal.

Kamaria sat between Edward's lap on the bed as they watched Christmas movies at their tree house. They were at her trees house because Ava wanted the place to herself for the night so she can be with her boyfriend. Kamaria hadn't had any nightmares of monsters lately and Edward was very pleased that she hadn't figured out his secret yet. He did not want her to know he was a monster.

"I want to watch the grinch movie." Kamaria looked up at her boyfriend who had a shocked look on his face.

"Are you sure you'll be okay Mari?" He held her to his chest. Tonight he was wearing a nice fluffy black sweater and some black sweatpants. Deep down, he did want her to overcome her fear of monsters so that she wouldn't reject him if she ever found out he was a vampire.

A flash of doubt crossed her mind.

"Maybe I'll just look at a picture and if I get scared. Then I won't watch it." She opened her phone to her internet and searched grinch in the search bar. Once she clicked on images, a small amount of adrenaline and fear ran through her body like a truck. She began to shake hard and turned her phone off.

"I can't do it!" She shouted, upset with herself.

"I'm such a loser!!"

At human speed, Edward swiftly wrapped her in his arms. The feeling of being cradled by Edward eased her mind by tenfold.

"I think you're great. You're far from a loser. You're so kind, so funny. You could make friends with anyone Kamaria. You're beautiful as hell and you're cute as fuck too." The smile on his face grew when he saw that she was smiling. "Tomorrow I'll go with you to Ava's place and—"

"Then I can come to your house?" Kamaria smiled bigger, hopeful.

"Not..yet." Edward frowned. The truth was that since Kamaria last met his vampire brothers, Jasper turned his girlfriend as did Emmett with his and since they were both newborns. Edward didn't want to run the risk of them hurting Kamaria. He wouldn't allow it and he wouldn't be able to live with himself if she got hurt.

"Alright," she nodded slightly. Wondering why he suddenly wouldn't allow her to see his family or go to his house. What if they don't like me anymore? Am I annoying? She thought, her smile slowly turning into a frown.

Edward picked her up, made her face him then nuzzled his face into her neck.

"Don't worry...it has nothing to do with you." He reassured her, kissing her neck now. She gasped softly and put her fingers in his hair. Giving her butterfly kisses, he laid her on the bed. He trailed his finger tips up and down her body, inhaling her scent. He wanted to take her right there. To bury himself balls deep into her but having sex in a treehouse as a vampire, wouldn't be a smart idea. To calm his hormones, he began tickling her.

Pushing at him, laughing, she tried her best to get out of his grip, to no use. She started screaming and laughing more. Slowly he stopped tickling and she hugged him while panting, trying to stop laughing.

"I love this side of you Edward," she blushed, admiring his playful side. He grinned and latched his mouth on her stomach before blowing air onto it. Creating raspberries, she started her screaming and laughing fit again, playfully hitting at his back. He stopped and laughed, resting his head on her stomach. He then sat up and held her hands.

"You're always so cold baby." She kissed his face.

"Poor circulation remember?" He replied, kissing her forehead in return. Kamaria frowned and wrapped some blankets around both of them.

"I wish you didn't have that." She looked up at him.

"But I like having you be my personal space heater." He smiled, holding her to himself.

She laughed and grinned. "You're so silly," She closed her eyes, smiling at his sweet smell. "And you smell so good."

"You smell even better." He softly kissed her shoulder.

"Oh you!" She blushed, laying his head on her chest and wrapping her arms around him.

Edward closed his eyes and listened to Kamaria's heart beat. As he laid in bed, his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID to find the number was unknown to him.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hey Edward..." it was Bella!

His eyes started to turn cold and angry, he hung up the phone and blocked the number.

"Who was that?" Kamaria looked puzzled.

"Nothing dear.." he smiled softly. "Let's go to sleep..I have something special for you to open." He kissed her forehead and got ready for bed with her.

Christmas morning soon approached and Kamaria sprung up from bed and ran to brush her teeth. She was excited to have Edward open his gifts. Thinking about how happy he will be. Edward laid in bed, pretending to be asleep trying not to smile at her excitement.

"Good morning." Edward spoke, his velvety voice had a layer of raspiness.

Kamaria gasped softly at this sound and turned to see him standing in the door way, leaning on it with his arms crossed.

Oh my god, he's so sexy! She thought, biting her lip softly. He stared at her intensely then spoke.

"Are you ready to open your gift?" He asked with a smile. She nodded and follow him to the tiny little Christmas tree they had put up together the other day.

Edward handed her a small box, opening it her eyes lit up! It was a rose gold locket with a ruby inside that was shaped like a heart along with a few diamonds. She stared at her expensive gift, speechless. But her mind said it all. Edward kissed her cheeks and moved behind her, putting the necklace around her.

"I know it's a very pricey gift but...you deserve it. And I know that you're wondering how I got the money for this. My father is a very wealthy doctor. I know we are young but I want you in my life forever." Edward spoke softly against her ear. She turned around and kissed him.

"Now my gift is going to look so silly!" She laughed. He smiles big.

"I know I will love it." He took the gift that was laying underneath the tree. It was a small envelope. He opened it and smiled. Inside was a beautiful Christmas card along with two tickets to an Orchestra that would be playing in April next year.

"I know the seats aren't the best, but I wanted to give you something special since I know love music and playing the piano." Kamaria shyly looked away, embarrassed that her gift wasn't as good as his—in her mind. Edward kissed her deeply and smiled big.

"This is prefect Kamaria. Where we sit won't matter, as long as I'm with you." He leaned in to another kiss. As they shared a kiss, it started to snow outside and they watched it fall together.

"You know Ava will be calling us for us to come to her place." Kamaria laid her head on his shoulder as frozen white petal like snow fell from the sky.

"Yeah.." Edward replied, in thought of why Bella was trying to get in touch with him after all these years...
