Teela's Sword

I own nothing of MOTU, He-man or the characters there in. In this story Teela gets her own power sword and learns a how life is with a duel identity. When and ancient evil arises our heroes must travel time and space to gather forces to combat it and save a childhood friend.

CHAPTER TEN TEELA'S NEW POWER

Upon their return to the present Castle Grayskull once again shook and glowed as the power surged, Teela let out a scream as she sprouted blue falcon with red tips then fainted. Once she awoke she found herself transformed her wings now white with golden tips, as everyone gathered around the spirit of Queen Aveena appeared. She told them Teela now had a choice, she could continue as Lady Tia or she could become the new Sorceress of Grayskull and replace her mother. Teela reverted back to her true form and said "I am a warrior, I lack the skill and wisdom to replace my mother. My time as her stand in proved that to me, so I think..."

Aveena held up her hand saying "I understand child, that is why I sent my feathers. The power is in your blood but you are free from this burden, your mother may serve until a new sorceress is found."

Aveena turns to the Sorceress and gives her a feather, it absorbs into her and turns her outfit silver tripling her power. She then smiles at Eva and D'Vann then vanishes when they smile back. It was then the Jawbridge lowered as Halita showed up with the cybercats and some armor for the time travelers. D'Vann was shocked at the gear she used, as was Eva, but Halita explained it was based on her fiance. Teela was the first to congratulate her. After everyone gave their congratulations she escorted everyone to the palace.

At the palace King Grayskull and Eva were shocked by all the mechanical devices, Adam found it funny when his father decided to train with D'Vann and quickly lost the spar match. Nobody could believe when Cobrannan actually held his own against the legendary king, let alone when he defeated D'Vann once. Eva trained with everyone, but she got the most out of her matches with Queen Marlena. It seemed her Earth style martial arts were nothing like what Eva had learned from the Cosmic Enforcers. At the end of the week Duncan presented his new friends from the past with new armor with coridite crystal in the chest plating. Both armors had his anti-snake-man scale under armored plates over vital areas, the armor was light strong and durable. Duncan had based it off Lady Tia's armor.

That night the Palace was attacked, King Hiss lead his snake-men in an attempt to capture the royal women and force the king to surrender. That didn't work out so well as he faced off with King Grayskull once more. Lady Tia, She-Ra and Eva were more than a match for the ones that got close to the queen. Marlena herself crippled three of her assailants, one of which will never walk right again nor will he have that baritone voice again. Adam and Dare lead the guards in a pincer move to surround and crush the Snake-men, had it not been for Shokoti warping them all away the snake-men would have fell that day.

When the battle was over they found Cobrannan he had been bit several times by several snake-men, they thought he would die but after a few minutes he stood up a little shaky and staggered off. With his swords had broke he decided to forge him a new one, as he left King Grayskull said "He has more power than most blades can handle, we should see if we can get him a stronger steel to make it out of."

Hopping on his his golden lion cybercat he rode off for Darksmoke, Duncan decided to call Queen Elmora of Phantos and ask for some Photanium. To Cobrannan's shock a week later he was able to forge a Photanium longsword with a Draconium core and coridite pommel. Teela had quickly realized it looked like her sword before it changed when she first got it. Cobrannan explained it was like the one-handed swords knights used on Earth. To celebrate the completion of the sword Cobrannan and Eva went out on their first date.

Their first date was rather sweet, Cobrannan took her for a horseback ride through the countryside. Then they had a picnic near a babbling brook, Eva was having a good time until the snake-men showed up. Once again Cobrannan shook off being bit multiple times as he tore through them. Hiss backed away when the Earth man sliced two of his snake heads off, a shoulder and an arm. As Hiss screamed in pain he and his warriors beat a hasty retreat. Cobrannan apologized that their date had been ruined then passed out, Eva caught him looking worried for her new friend.

Back at the palace the doctors informed her Cobrannan wasn't normal, his DNA was mutated and they couldn't fix it. Hearing that Cobrannan sat up and said "Who asked you to, I like the way I am. I'm not normal true, but I'm proud of how I'm different. I just don't broadcast it and try to force people to accept me, you like me or you don't. I like me and that is all that matters!"

Then Cobrannan sighs and gets up and walks out. The doctor shrank under Eva's glare, before she ran after him. Eva looked everywhere she could think of, but she couldn't find him. Once the royal family found out Marlena said she hoped Hiss had a good supply of bodybags, Everyone looked at her and she said "It's Hiss' fault he was found out, I think he intends to have words with him."

Cobrannan returns a week later and informs the royal family the snakemen will no longer be a problem. Randor and D'Vann both look amazed and Teela says "But there are over two hundred of them."

Cobrannan simply corrects her saying "There were exactly three hundred and twelve, there are zero now."

Marlena says "Holy shit, are you sure you're not really Rambo?"

Cobrannan laughs saying "Colonel Johnathan Cobrannan Wolf 8765309, back home most just called me JC."

Eva asks "Them why does everyone here call you Cobrannan?"

He laughs and replies "Have you heard the cool names used here? JC just sounds boring by comparison."

That causes everyone to laugh before Adam slaps him on the shoulder and says "Adam isn't any better but I don't know anybody else named Adam or JC."

JC relents and says to call him anything they want just, don't call him late for dinner.

Note sorry the chapter is a bit shorter than I wanted. BTW I know Cobrannan's number isn't a military number, so please don't chew me out about it. I have nothing but respect for our armed forces. I plan to try to get a chapter out once a week until I get this finished so until then HAPPY NEW YEAR! UNTIL NEXT TIME... STAY SAFE... AND... HAVE A NICE DAY! :)
