Final Note
Hello all! I actually have finally decided how I want to end the story! So, the chapter will come out...never! Let me explain before you kill me! I had 2 ideas for this story ending. Either killing Lucy off or having Igneel somehow bring her back. But, in all honesty, I don't think this story ending could turn better. It's not as great as I was hoping for, and I have just lost all motivation for this story, plus it wasn't a cliffhanger. I am a little sad as I did have some of the next part written, but I have just lost all motivation to continue this and just want it over so I can write other stories.
Here's how you should imagine the ending:
Igneel opens his eyes, seeing a blonde haired girl leaving and seeing his son(?!) reaching for her. What is going on? He thinks. He finally sees a spell book, where his son sat. As soon as he saw the cover he understood. I'm so sorry, Natsu.
Time skip:
It was 3 weeks after Lucy died. Igneel got a human form, Natsu told countless stories about Lucy, who she was, and well, everything! Igneel felt so bad for what Natsu had to go through, and that's why he stuck by Natsu until his very last day.
There! I am sorry for the disappointment of many, but I wasn't feeling this story anymore. Again so sorry, I might finish it fully some day, but for now, this is the best ending I could see. Best regards,
